my favorite council member is definitely THIS mfer Right Here. Asukasei Hino, which hilariously enough seems to be the one people hate the most BAHAHA (or at least love portraying negatively) I draw him the most, write him the most, think about him the most... Shoji is definitely a close second, but all in all this dumbass has my heart in a vice grip you can also see what angle I draw in the most LMAOOO </3333 you can also definitely tell that some of these are Older Than Others but they're the nicest ones I got

as for Why He's My Favorite. that is a good question I had to dwell on that for a bit to figure it out

what comes to mind first is that. me and @reasonablemilk3254 are writing something it starts with SDR2 so no council just yet o7 but fsr we keep just dwelling on the Despair Arc LMAO and Asukasei managed to claim the Important To The Story slot, we love that for him

the second thing that comes to mind is just. how, even apart from our story, he's still taken up residence in my brain—I just. Have So Many Thoughts about him. like I have a fuckin backstory for him, a buncha HCs, just,,, he became my favorite because he's just so Interesting to think about, like. what was in his blackmail. why did he survive the longest. how was he able to land a hit on Izuru Kamukura himself (which gave birth to the Ultimate Sharpshooter HC LMAOOO). why does he look like a sad wet cat when we first see him. why does he seemingly protect Aiko at first and be horrified as hell when she's killed to the point of fucking (gestures to what he did to Tomohiko in revenge). oh no this answer is a lot longer than I thought it would be uH—

Do you have any headcanon about Hope's Peak Academy's Student Council, like talents? Soshun is Ultimate Student Council President, and the others is unknown.

Personally? No, but I do like the talents @a-student-out-of-time gives them:

Aiko Umesawa: SHSL Dollmaker

Asukasei Hino: SHSL Shamisen Player

Daiki Kubo: SHSL Babysitter

Karen Kisaragi: SHSL Secretary

Kiriko Nishizawa: SHSL Hairstylist

The only ones missing from the list here are Ryota Someya, Sosuke Ichino, Suzuko Kashiki and Tomohiko Goryoku. I've only seen DR3 once, so I don't have the information/enough regular thought about the characters to have a crack at their talents myself. Nor do I really want to see that part of DR3 again, it was kinda disturbing even by Danganronpa standards.

Back in episode 7 of Despair arc in DR3 during the Student Council killing game, what ever happened to that fat guy and that mute rock-and-roller looking guy?(I assume that their deaths were offscreen)

That’s actually answered in danganronpa zero, which came out even before danganronpa 2. After assumedly hitting Soshun Murasame from behind and knocking him out, thinking he had killed him, Daiki Kubo chases Shoji Yoko out into the hall where he bashes shoji in the head with a chair until it’s a pile of mushy grey matter. He is then bashed on the head by assumedly Asukasei Hino with a glass bottle which ruptures his head and cut his face open letting the skin hang lose. He then runs away and bumps into assumedly Suzuko Kashiki who chops his head in two with a cleaver. Then Asukasei chases Suzuki back to the classroom to kill her before he is killed by izuru. If you are wondering why it’s all assumed is because the names are not mentioned, only descriptions are and what lines up with dr3 works only in this way pretty much. So no Shoji never even got to speak even in zero lol.

I'm harsh on people that need somebody to tell it to them straight. No point in worrying about how well they'll take it. People need to hear it, no matter who they are.

I'm not cruel, obviously. And I don't particularly care how I come across to others.

I think there's a difference between 'cruelty' and 'strictness'. Hino is strict with us all, only because he really feels like he has to be. At least that's what I think.

I'm evil? I admit I'm harsh, but given who our enemies are I'd hardly call myself 'evil'.

And, of course I'm happy at times. But it's not always easy finding joy when you're in a world like this - surrounding by people you don't get along wiht.
