I was hoping you’d see it because he was the first thing that popped up into my head. Just the full suit in a bubble bath makes me think of Hades having a spa day while also ready for work at any time.

I see a man (fictional), I am generally like "okay". I see the same man (fictional) being put in a situation, covered in dirt and blood, perhaps soaking wet, actively sobbing and shaking like a chihuahua, and I am saying "yay" and "yippee" and things of this nature

H.E.R.A. Badges

In almost all LI bios, the H.E.R.A. badge is placed on the folder, completely intact. This signifies MC's connection to and role in H.E.R.A..

The exception is in Astraeus' bio, where the badge is cut in half.

His bio is the only one to have a badge that's different in some way, and it's a clear signifier of MC's escape from the gods' clutches- and from H.E.R.A., too. The fact that it's cut so cleanly in half points towards Astraeus being the one to have cut it, emphasizing his role in rescuing her from H.E.R.A..

I find the Astoria characters a bit bland or incohesive when it comes to their designs so as some design practice, I gave them redesigns

You Reap What You Sow

Pairing: Hades x MC Summary: MC tries to get Hades' attention. AO3 _

By the fifth paper ball she throws onto Hades' desk, she knows he's really distracted. The singular ball she'd landed on his stack of papers was batted away without a sideways glance, as if he didn't even fully register it had been there.

"Hades," she laughs, half-exasperated, but her boyfriend is completely lost to her.

As much of a workaholic as she is- she doesn't hold a flame to Hades' dedication. Sometimes, such as now, she's learned that he tends to get sucked completely into his work. So tuned into his work, even his aura is being put to use, the reaper organizing and rearranging stacks upon stacks of paperwork, filing some away while delivering others to Hades' desk itself.

She sighs, affection softening the sound as she leans back into his office couch, watching him from afar.

Normally, she'd be diving head-first into working alongside him. She loves her work as much as he loves his, after all. Or maybe more, since she wasn't quite sure that he did it out of love so much as duty and responsibility. But, it was her day off. And after working two long weeks in a row without a day to breathe, she was more than happy to give her hands a rest from paperwork.

Hades was supposed to take the day off, too.

And though their morning together was uninterrupted, the same couldn't be said of their afternoon. Hades' phone had rang too many times to ignore, and she could hear Zeus' booming voice over the phone when Hades finally answered. Hades had held the phone far away from his ear, and the King of Gods could still be heard loud and clear. Hades had looked at her with a grimace, apologetic in advance, likely knowing that a storm of work was about to hit his desk.

And so it had!

Hades was immediately bogged down in paperwork she couldn't imagine. He had encouraged her to get up and explore Olympus, hang out with Persephone, go down to Earth and spend her day doing something she'd like... but she had been looking forward to spending her day with him. She didn't want to be anywhere else, even if that meant being stuffed inside of his office all day.

...And if she were being completely honest, she had tried to jump in and help him with his work. He promptly shut down any attempts she could make to do so, insisting she rest. It was sweet of him. And incredibly boring for her.

Because despite the scant distance that lay between them, she missed him.

Heaving another sigh, her eyes flicker back to his aura. It was closer to her than he was, working quickly and silently. She wondered, briefly, what it would do to him if she were to try getting his aura's attention instead.

But she looks away, pushing the thought aside. She truly didn't want to bother him when the work seemed so important. She just wished she could get a longing glance, or the chance to have a lunch break with him, or the upturn of his lips in response to her admittedly immature antics.

But the longer she sits there, the further the sun rises into the sky, and the more she wants to just kiss him. Or talk to him. Or do anything with him.

Another glance at his aura, working diligently under Hades' command.

And a glance at Hades, who's buried so far into the organized mess of his desk that she cant fully see him anymore.

And yet another glance to his aura.

Okay.

So maybe looking to his aura for attention is more tempting than she wanted to admit.

Even from a few feet away, she could feel its power radiating off of it, as well as the chill it puts out. Where Hades was warmth, his aura was the opposite. It was... well, to be frank, it was kind of thrilling. She'd be lying if she said she hadn't thought about Hades using it more in their more intimate moments.

Sitting upright, she wonders if it will register her at all. Would Hades feel her touch it? Would the reaper itself gently guide her back to the couch, with Hades never looking up from his work?

"Guess there's only one way to find out," she mutters, standing up to stretch.

With one last glance towards Hades, she makes her way over to the reaper, casually strolling up next to it. It doesn't react to her presence, but she hadn't really expected it to. Not yet, anyway. But when her hand reaches out and touches the skeletal arm, it sort of... bristles? It doesn't feel quite right to say that, but it definitely reacts to her.

When it keeps working, though, she narrows her eyes.

Maybe something a little more extreme? she wonders.

Letting go of its arm, she reaches up towards its head. Though it's much taller than her, she can reach the horns growing out of its head thanks to the way it's been hunched over the paperwork. Taking one horn in each hand, she turns the reaper to face her, shivering as a chill seeps into her skin. Rather than turn her off from the reaper, it inspires her to keep going.

From behind her, she hears a sharp inhale, and the scratching of his pen across paper ceases.

Spurred on by her success, she looks into the reaper's face. It's devoid of emotion in the traditional sense- its eyeless sockets and toothy grin are permanent fixtures, unable to change. But she knows to look beyond the surface, into the very depths of it, where Hades' love for her resides. Purple flames of aura lick across the skin of her hands, cold but definitely not unfeeling.

When she leans it, it's as if all the shadows in the room have distorted, reaching for her. She can feel Hades grasping for her, even though she's certain he hasn't left his seat. Yet.

Gleeful and a little smug that she's gotten his attention, she finishes satiating her curiosity, and uses her leverage on the reaper to pull its skull flush against her lips. She kisses it, first on the cheekbone, and then over where its lips would be, if it had any. The power behind it surges when she does it, and she's momentarily worried that maybe she did take things a little too far, before the shadows of the room converge on her, and Hades himself is standing in the reaper's place.

"That was quite the show, my dear," he says, pulling her close to his chest.

"Oh, you noticed that, did you?" she says, feigning innocence and looking away. The room fades back into view as she looks, and she can suddenly feel the edge of Hades' desk press into her back.

"I did, and..." He presses his body into hers, leaning in so close that she would fall over if not for the desk keeping her up. One hand wraps around her own, lifting it up to his lips. He kisses the back of her hand, looking directly at her as he does so. She swallows- and doesn't miss the way Hades' gaze flickers down. "You have my attention."

"I..." She flushes, but doesn't look away. "Thought we could have lunch together?"

It comes out more like a question, but Hades is kind not to point it out. He answers with a smile that sends a wave of heat through her. When he finally kisses her on the lips, it's long and lingering, communicating to her just how much he had missed her, too. He takes his time kissing her, satisfying both of their desires before pulling away, just enough to speak against her lips.

"Shall we dine in?"

Little funny side note: This reminds me of what I think of when I imagine Hades and MC. The height difference is crazy. And Alex will have to pick her up to even hug or kiss her😭😭.
