H.E.R.A. Badges

In almost all LI bios, the H.E.R.A. badge is placed on the folder, completely intact. This signifies MC's connection to and role in H.E.R.A..

The exception is in Astraeus' bio, where the badge is cut in half.

His bio is the only one to have a badge that's different in some way, and it's a clear signifier of MC's escape from the gods' clutches- and from H.E.R.A., too. The fact that it's cut so cleanly in half points towards Astraeus being the one to have cut it, emphasizing his role in rescuing her from H.E.R.A..

Ah, I'm so sorry! This is a fan-made blog meant for archiving posts and information about Astoria! But Astoria has been re-released featuring 6 of the original 7 routes (Astraeus being the missing route) on Steam and on Nintendo Switch for anyone interested in playing again. Sorry again for seeming misleading, I was just reblogging the production notes in order to save them somewhere easily accessible for me 😓

Being able to do sketch out such an important, touching moment for Cyprin and MC was an honor. I wanted it to be about them and get across how happy they are to have gotten to this point in their lives. Wisterias are one of my favorite devices to use while drawing for framing, depth, and aesthetics overall. I thoroughly enjoyed using the blue and purples for a romantic atmosphere and it makes it feel as if they are the only ones in their world. My enjoyment from working on this also stems from a bit of bias because Cyprin is my favorite in Astoria! They’re such a dear.

Our artist comments:

“Astraeus has a very straighforward and aggressive personality therefore it’s no surprise that I had to draw him and MC embrace tightly as possible, and also because of border contraints. I tried a couple sketches where MC is the one being pushy (#1 & #3) but in the end we’ve decided to go with #2 for that perfect balance. What’s more romantic than being framed by the divine glow of the moon with Sakura flower petals surrounding our love birds Astraeus and MC? That’s right, nothing else.”

Our artist comments:

For this special event illustration, I wanted to capture the festive and fun moment of the scene. We tried various angles to capture the “right” moment, in the end we decided on #3 for the closeness of the characters as well as making the ei looked as if MC took the picture. Utilizing bright and beautiful colors allowed us present and celebrate Pride Month!

Our artist has also specially drawn a version featuring the heroines of Gangsters in Love, Castaway! Love’s Adventure, and Love & Legends!

This is the first EI we see Medusa being more aggressive towards MC. I wanted to show how seductive Medusa can be! I tried some close ups to get an intimate feeling when Medusa whispers into the Heroine’s ear, and some different amounts of zoom, to show more of Medusa with her confident and seductive pose.

MC and Medusa are having a sweet moment together. I wanted to show the tenderness of this kiss, the soft romantic lighting of the morning, so I tried different sunbeam lighting effects. I like the bright spot of color that Medusa’s hair adds to the picture. I wonder what they gonna do next >///<

This EI comes after Medusa and MC had an argument or misunderstanding. They were making up in the kitchen. I wanted to show a sweet moment where they were hugging it out. I really like 5. MC is so adorable, how could Medusa stay mad at her! I wonder what Medusa was cooking.
