Yamato has never really had to truly look after his friends. Granted, some of them wouldn't be alive if they hadn't been able to rely on each other but to completely be in charge of someone? Only his sister.

The Sannoh guys aren't surprised whenever he walks in Itokan, 6'ft Yamato with a 4 year old trailing behind him peddling a black plastic tricycle.

She would look at them and shoot them a peace sign. Then, wheel away to go find one of the coloring books Naomi keeps for her.

Yamato treats her like a baby and an adult at the same time.

He's rambling about an issue and she nods and writes something down.

Yamato sighs, rubbing his jaw, "So what should I do now?"

She rubs her chin as she looks at the paper she has in front of her. She grabs it and raises it up for him to see. It's a drawing of a cow.

Yamato would learn how to braid hair and the first time he tried... His mother came home to find her precious daughter with a bird nest on her head.

His sister would have the same big appetite as him. If he's not keeping an eye on his sandwhich, he'll turn around and find half of it gone.

Whenever his mother would get home late she'd make him read to her at night.

His mother would sing to her too, but last time Yamato tried that she stuffed her head underneath her pillow until he stopped.

His baby sister sick, or had a nightmare?

"Yamato...?" He didn't wake up to the sound of her voice but the bright light of the living room coming from the door.

He'd called out her name, groggy but soon aware she was standing at his bed. "Pipsqueak, what's wrong?"

"Bad dream," She frowned and wiped her face. When Yamato was fully awake he reached over to feel her forehead. Sweaty and really warm.

"Hey, hey," He hushed her when she started to cry, "No, you're okay. How 'bout we have a sleepover, 'kay?"

He would instantly get up and lift her up the bed. He would get her medicine and something cold for her head. She would try kick out of the blanket, but Yamato tucked her in too tight for her to escape.

"Yamato?" His little sister drowsily called.

"Uh-huh?"

"Beat up bad dreams, please?"

He raised up a fist, making sure she saw before she goes to sleep, "I'll be ready, don't worry."

Since she was newborn she's been in the garage half her life and Yamato's really careful and stern about what she can't touch. She's good at not touching anything sharp and heavy, but sometimes she gets restless being in the garage all day.

So Yamato sometimes lets her sit by him, passing him tools light enough for her to give. She feels especially proud when he puts out his hands and says, "Okay, clean up time."

She cleans the oil and grime off of his hands with the rag on her lap. She would wave around the rag when she's done, "Tada!"

He's so proud of his little sister that he makes sure to tell her good job, even if she did the same thing twice that day.

Ichigo Milk are surprisingly some of Yamato's go-to babysitters. Usually when he has to go fight or go somewhere with Cobra. At first she's a little shy with them but she warms up to them quickly.

They spoil her a lot with cookies and stuff animals. One time she came home with yamato, asleep with an ichigo milk jacket wrapped around her. (It was Junko's)

"Stop calling Mommy grandma!"

Naomi serves her first before Yamato, which he sulks at every time, and every time Noami says it's because his sister is her favorite Asahina.

Whenever his sister wants pancakes, Noami makes them shaped like animals, and her 4 year old little mind is blown away.

She would like to play with Cobra's earrings.

Other than Yamato, Cobra's the only other person she likes to ask to tie her shoes.

His sister would be too young to remember who Noboru was, so when Noboru joins Sannoh Rengokai again she sees him as stranger.

But when he crouches down to reintroduce himself, she'd say, "My big brother has you in his wallet."

"Wow, that's cool," Noboru choked out while trying not to get teary-eyed.

Yamato would get her a little Sannoh Rengokai bandanna! But because of their enemies, he wouldn't let her wear it if he wasn't around to avoid any trouble.

The one and only time Dan had babysat Yamato's little sister she got LOST. Yamato should have known to leave her with Ichigo Milk, she gets lost easily and the girls are good at keeping her close.

While Dan was searching for her, making Chiharu and Tettsu help, she got distracted by a really tiny kitty. She wanted to catch it so bad that she never noticed how far away home she had gotten.

She noticed there were a lot of shiny things and red banners and paint everywhere. When she finally caught the kitten, she was in a strange building with people in red jackets everywhere. Her stomach hurt when she realized she didn't know where she was.

She didn't cry though, she had to look tough. But everytime she tugged on an adult's jacket, they'd just walk away or ignored her.

When someone finally looked down at her, he squinted, "and who the hell are you?"

She'd be too scared to talk so she just looked at her shoes. With a tug, someone beside the person grabbed her and said "Who the fuck let a kid in? I'll handle this, Hyuga."

"No," She yelled, kicking him away, "Fuck you!"

If Yamato ever found out about that, she'd be done for.

That made Hyuga laugh and crouch down to her, "Where's your parents, kid?"

It would take a little time but she would let him lift her to see if she spot her family. She shaked her head to his dismay.

While Yamato found out she was missing and losing his shit Hyuga tried to get answers from her. To be honest, he had kinda hoped she was from some rich family so that he could get compensation, but from her answers it didn't seem likely. His guys couldn't find anyone who had lost a child either.

An employee from the casino gave her a couple of napkins and a pen to keep her busy. She drew Hyuga a cat with a mustache and chain. She said it was him. Huh.

But the next thing she drew caught his eye. Even for a drawing from a 4 year old it was familiar.

"What's that, kid?"

"Sannoh!" She pointed, "This is my big brother, Yamato."

When Yamato got the call, he thought this day couldn't worse. Everyone from Sannoh Rengokai were riding over to Daruma. Just when things were calming down but Yamato was more than willing to start another war.

At the entrance, both Cobra and Yamato strolled in front. Hyuga emerged with his little sister in Hyuga's arms. Yamato was about to lunge but Cobra held his shoulder.

Hyuga pointed and said something to her which she happily nodded. He let her down and she waved goodbye. When she ran into Yamato's frozen body he suddenly could breathe again.

"Yamato! Yamato! Look!" She held up a daruma doll.

He lost a couple years of life that day. He also gets headaches everytime she asks to see Hyuga.

The next time she wander off, it was completely his fault. Sword agreed to meet for an emergency and he had no one to take care of her. He got Dan to watch over her from the very back of the warehouse. No one would notice and he would be in the same place.

But after the meeting was over, his little sister saw the red jackets from afar and got excited so she ran off and she saw something furry and soft on someone on her way.

She thought she could sneakily touch the fur coat of the person in all white but Rocky had turned around as soon as she grabbed the soft fur.

"Whoa," She gasped at the sight of his grill, "You're shiny!"

"Are you supposed to be here?" He asked laced with concern. She nodded and told him her big brother was here. Rocky told Koo to get the word around before the Sword groups could start leaving.

Rocky wasn't suprised when it was someone from Sannoh who had lost her. She held his hand as they walked over and babbled about Yamato. He found it really endearing.

"Yamatooo!" She ran over to him with a big hug.

"You really need to stop doing that," He knelt down and grabbed his own heart. "You're killing me."

She pointed at Rocky, "I want a fuzzy sweater like that, please."

Some people love someone so much that they’ll settle just to have them in their lives overall, other people love someone that they only want the romance of it and when they don’t get that, they leave.

 Y/n held her jacket closer to her body to shield her from the evening breeze, swearing under her breath at why the boys liked hanging out on top of the metal tracks over the town – their special spot. The stairs up were basically a ladder with how steep they were. When she did reach the top, she pursed her lips, taking a breath and watching Yamato’s figure stare aimlessly into the sunset. She usually had a knack for reading his thoughts, but this was one of those rare moments where her mind drew a blank, had it gone well? Was he pissed? Pleased? Who knew, probably not even Cobra.

“How was your date? Was she nice?” her voice was soft as it gradually approached, shoes echoing in the silence. Yamato heard the smile on her lips, the world becoming brighter when she stood next to him.

“Yeah, I guess.” He hesitated, watching her turn to him out of the corner of his eye. He stuffed his hands into his jacket pockets, balling his fists while she leant over the railing, turning back to watch the sunset with him.

“You don’t sound so happy, guessing it didn’t go that well if you’re stood up here moping.” y/n mused, an inwards giggle slipping past her lips. She’d be lying if he said she was happy about the situation. When he had told her initially about his date, she’d been less than responsive, just smiling and nodding before walking off completely. She’d given up on hiding how she felt, countless days wasting her adolescence in denial when she could’ve taken the opportunity and gotten the rejection over and done with. But she would’ve loved him anyway, just having him in her life was enough and that’s why she didn’t bother interfering with his date.

“M’not moping, jus’ thinkin'.” Yamato scoffed, playfully nudging her shoulder to watch her lose balance.

“I’ll keep you company then. What’s up?”

“Was a bit boring is all, didn’t feel anything towards her. Felt like I was leading her on the whole time.” Her attention zoned in, standing closer to him this time as ears fell deaf to the rest of the world. He was no insincere man, he demonstrated that when he took Chiharu in.

“Elaborate? Did she give you the ick or something?”

“Nah, -- she jus’,” he started, voice becoming a low mumble, “wasn’t…you.” They paused and stood in a thick silence as she stood bug-eyed at the man, lip quivering when he couldn’t bring himself to look her in the eye yet. Her breath became heavy, and his heart pounded in his ears.

“Without you, everything’s just empty, I just can’t imagine a life without you. Every time I looked at her, I just thought of you. This sounds so stupid, never thought I’d be in love with you.” Her expression morphed into a grin, eyebrows raised in relief and smiling so wide the corners of her eyes creased. She spun her body entirely to face him, fighting the urge to jump around and squeal like her inner sixteen-year-old wanted. Yamato turned, pulling his hands out his jacket and cocking an eyebrow, his heartbeat slowing at her sudden burst of energy but sinking in the sweetness of it. It had been long since she’d smiled like that, years, in fact. His favourite smile.

She punched his chest teasingly, “Took you long enough to admit it!”

Confused, Yamato’s large hands took her by the shoulders, holding her still so their eyes melted into each other. He saw the stars in her, they practically sparkled under the slumbering sun.

“I’m in love with you too, Yamato! You are an oblivious idiot!” Her laugh was treasure, so precious and rare that he’d long forgotten what it truly sounded like since spending most of his time at the diner. Without wasting any more time, he pulled her into his chest, smiling like the idiot he was, forgetting the cold when she wrapped her arms around his waist and together rekindled their dying flame.

Cobra, Murayama, and Bike

I was originally wanting to prove that Cobra never going to high school. But I ended up finding something more intriguing about the whole situation. Remember this credit scene from Final Mission?

Why would Murayama go to meet Cobra in person like that, in front of the whole Sannoh Rengokai's members? I feel like there is an underlying issue in this scene. Which come to my assumption that Murayama actually doesn't want to talk about bike, it was something else.

But upon the presence of other members that might be Murayama didn't expect to be there (but hello, it's Sannoh! They're always in a group anyway), he holds it up. Instead, he asked about bike. Cobra, in the other hand might seem like stoic and has a personality like 'I don't give a fuck', but he's not. He knew all along that bike was never Murayama's concern that's why he asked, "Can you get a license?"

Cobra knew it and he played dumb (such a snake—well, he is). With that question, it'll postponed their talk because they want it to be private. Just both of them. But when it comes, it wouldn't just about bike. It might something else, about life for example.

I might get it wrong, but almost everyone in fandom portrays them as oblivious. But no, I don't think so. They might be oblivious, sometimes. But not every time. Presumably, they're just awkward around each other. Because, no doubt, they just known each other as a person not as a leader of some gangs.

Back to driver's license. I don't think Cobra would be that cruel to Murayama. Because I have an assumption about him, and his bike and it linked to MUGEN era. Let's take a look on this scene from Road to HiGH&LOW.

Three of them are childhood friends, but let's dive into the details. Noboru wore a high school uniform which means he went to high school. No wonder, because he went to university as well (dropped out, though). Then, by this scene, you may ask, do Cobra and Yamato went to school? My answer would be no.

Why? They're in MUGEN. They did road trip, perhaps, from morning to another morning. With that, when they have time for school? No. Because they don't go to school. They just ride.

Why is Cobra MUGEN and whether or not he went to high school linked to the question: "Can you get a license?"? Let me elaborate. According to this cart:

MUGEN's members' bike are in heavy motorcycle category which requires to be 18 years old to get a license. If Cobra and Yamato joined MUGEN in their high school era at that time, they were about 16 years old. That's breaking the law but who cares anyway they ride bike without helmet.

There are two possibilities about Cobra and Yamato's driver license:

They have driver's license but they but not the right one.

They don't have.

And why don't they go to school? It simply because they already have job. In present timeline, Yamato already taking over Asahina Garage and Cobra would take over Hino Gas Station (I assume his parents are still alive by the timeline and yes, he's not jobless. I thought he was jobless LMAO). Whereas Noboru's parents seem didn't have any business in Sannoh that's why Noboru need to be educated in order to get a job (which is realistic).

Also, in my opinion, with his personality, Cobra would never didn't want to talk about bike with Murayama just because he didn't get a license yet. It was because both of them know that it's not the real thing they wanted to talk about.

They did talk, anyway. Remember this scene from HiGH&LOW The Worst?

Was he really busy? May be not. But Cobra is a chronically offline person in my opinion, he prefers direct conversation. But hey, he picked it up, at least. Even teased about the bike. They finally get a chance to talk.

He teased because he wanted to make sure whether or not Murayama was ready to talk about the real thing. I might overthink it, but in my assumption, they talk about life, and it was adulting to be exact. In my opinion, more like my head canon, this particular talk with Cobra led Murayama to graduate from Oya High and somehow Furuya and Seki found out about it.

But hey, I Murayama did get a bike at the end, right?

From now on, it'll be just my head canons and my interpretation of their characters. They complement each other. Murayama has a childish persona and Cobra has a mature persona. But deep inside, they are the opposite of their persona. It seems like as the time goes on, as they have a lot more talk, Cobra would talk more, and Murayama would listen more.

Platonically or romantically (I'm their shipper anyway), they're comfortable with each other's existence and company. You know sometimes, no matter how much you trust in your best friend, no matter how much you love them, and you know they would never judge you, there will always things you can't talk about with them. That's how Cobra and Murayama connected.

They're both leaders, and they became leaders just because they're stronger than anyone else. They were clueless and don't know if they did the right thing with their current role. Murayama was a lone wolf, whereas Cobra was a follower. He has been tagging along with Tatsuya and Kohaku for a long time. They completed each other.

Tsurune Book 3 Chapter 3 - The Song of Naru (Part 2)

Let me share my personal theory: In this universe, the sport of kyudo possesses the supernatural ability to alter one's brain chemistry. Those who have a deeper affinity with the bow are more transformed by this ability. Kyudo, it seems, can make one become more spiritually attuned and connect seemingly completely unrelated concepts, but also warp one's thought processes to the point of non-kyudo practitioners finding them incomprehensible.

The sun was flashing, spreading rainbow-colored wings of light.

It was the middle of May. The prefectural high school kyudo tournament preliminaries were being held.

The competition event was “close range.” The first day’s “individual competition” consisted of shooting four arrows in two stages in zasha, and the top ten with the highest number of hits would be selected for the next round.

The “team competition” on the second day consisted of one coach and five to seven archers, and one male and one female team per school could participate. The competition format was teams of five, four shots in zasha, and a time limit of eight minutes. Forty-one schools participated in the boys’ competition, and the eight teams with the highest scores in the first and second rounds would advance to the prefectural tournament. Looking at the past results, winning was between thirty and thirty-five hits, and the lowest halfway point was twenty.

Kazemai High School had a total of six girls: the three second-years Hanazawa, Shiragiku, and Seo, and three first-years. The boys had a total of seven, with the five second-years Kaito, Ryouhei, Seiya, Nanao, and Minato, and the two first-years Himuro and Kanbayashi. A total of thirteen people entered the individual and team competitions.

Kazemai was the winning school last year, so they attracted a lot of attention. Their school’s name was printed on the back of their green jerseys along with the illustration of an arrow.

When a student from another school said, “Oh, it’s Kazamai,” Nanao folded his hands behind his head.

“This is read as Kazemai. I get it, I sometimes say it wrong too.”

Kaito was appalled. “Don’t get the name of your own school wrong.”

“Japanese kanji is hard because there are so many different readings. Nippon, Nihon, Hinomoto, and Yamato are all examples of the ever-changing name of our country, after all.”

“Oh, it’s Asahina and Eddie from YumiDou,” they heard someone say.

They looked and saw the Haneina High School members passing by, with the flashy duo leading them. “Haneine?” someone muttered when they saw the characters printed on the back of their orange jerseys.

“Those guys are called ‘Haneina High School’… Oi, Asahina and Eddie! Merha!”

When Nanao waved at them, Asahina and Eddie also waved back. In addition, there were other unique members following them, such as a man with narrow eyes, a boy with a notebook and pen, and a boy with fresh flowers in his bag.

Asahina saluted them. “Hey, Nanapri and everyone from Kazemai. It’s been a while. How are you guys?”

Eddie continued, “Prince Nanao, it has been long seen we’ve last contacted each other. The frog art (1) I received from you the other way has seen a lot of uses, that it has.”

“I’m glad to hear that. I saw your last stream. You hit the center of the target in the dark!”

“Thank you. My body learned how to do it using something interesting. If it’s my dojo, I rarely miss a shot.”

“That’s amazing. I’d like to learn that technique too,” Seiya said.

“During kai, the second joint of your bow hand’s index finger should be in line with the position of the tree branch outside the kyudojo.”

Suddenly, Asahina stared at Minato.

“Hmm? Is there something on my face?”

“I don’t know why, but I feel like rubbing your forehead, Narumiya.”

Seiya quickly hid Minato’s forehead. “You need our advisor’s permission.”

“Seriously? Just how strict are things at Kazemai? If only we can use a jutsu to clone him and borrow one of them. Oh, speak of the devil, Doppelgangers No. 1 and 2 have arrived.”

Asahina’s gaze was directed at a group of people dressed in purple jerseys.

It was the Kirisaki High School kyudo club. The twin brothers Senichi and Manji stopped walking at almost exactly the same moment. Their bangs were arranged symmetrically to each other. Senichi, whose bangs were parted to the left, spoke.

“Doppelgangers are already old news. We’re the Twin Fighters now.”

Hearing this, Kaito’s jaw dropped.

“I can’t believe there are guys with terrible naming senses in a different way from Seiya… Are you sure you guys aren’t going against the times?”

“Huh!?” The twins exclaimed in unison. Kabashima and Yushima tried to calm them down, but Senichi picked up the corners of his mouth and bared his teeth, and Manji pulled his eyelid down and stuck out his tongue. Without paying any attention to what was going on around him, Ryouhei ran up to a certain person.

“Shuu-kun!”

“Hey, Ryouhei. Did you grow taller again?”

“It’s a shame that Motomura-senpai and Sase-senpai aren’t here anymore. It’s so sad that everyone has to go their separate ways after graduating from high school, even though we had so much fun together. I wish I could shoot with everyone more.”

Shuu’s pale eyelashes wavered. Senichi and Manji reacted.

“Yamanouchi, stop calling him that.”

“Huh? But Shuu-kun is Shuu-kun, isn’t he?”

Someone was watching the jumble of green, orange, and purple as they chattered.

Kuon was lamenting outside the circle.

It’s him! The man I saw in my dreams.

…No, wait. Who is Fujiwara-senpai looking at?

Following his line of sight, Kuon found Minato there. Shuu had a gentle smile on his face.

I can’t believe this. Those who stand at the top should not smile so frivolously. I don’t care about the dog anymore. This guy must be harmful to Fujiwara-senpai.

The antique doll smiled coldly.

After the opening ceremony, the individual competition started. The order was random in individual competitions.

The girls went first. Hanazawa, Shiragiku, Seo, and six other girls put on their yugake and headed for the waiting room with their bows, arrows, and tsurumaki with spare strings. Tommy-sensei went with them.

Cheering squads from each school took their places in the stands. It was filled with people holding paper cranes with prayers written on them and others recording in notebooks.

The Kazemai girls started appearing from the third group. Hanazawa’s matooto was cheered by the audience, and Shiragiku and Seo, who were in separate groups, followed. They performed a light and lovely dance, and as a result, Hanazawa had two hits, Shiragiku had three hits, and Seo landed all four of her arrows.

Next was the boys’ division.

Haneina’s Asahina, Eddie, Matsuda, Kanuma, and Igarashi. The five unique and showy individuals captured people’s attentions even when they were alone. Two in particular, Asahina and Eddie, had hair colors that couldn’t be misperceived even from a distance, and their shooting was even more beautiful than in their videos. Their arrows were like flashes as lightning, and they hit with all four arrows.

Kanbayashi, a Kazemai first-year, watched them from the waiting room and thought, I can’t shoot disgracefully. I have to do my best not to bring shame to Kazemai.

The first individual match. Kanbayashi was at the second target in the second group. The archer before him drew his bow. He released his arrow and hit the target at three o’clock. It was a good start.

Meanwhile, tension had stiffened Kanbayashi’s shoulders.

Huh? Why can’t I focus?

As he panicked in his mind, he raised his bow and moved to daisan. He slowly pushed his bow open—

Right when Kanbayashi realized it, the arrow was no longer in his hand and was sticking out of the arrow path. The arrow had jumped out of his hand while he was still drawing his bow. He had no idea what happened.

For his second shot, Kanbayashi’s arrow was once again released before reaching kai. The venue became noisy as people started murmuring to each other, and the sound of someone saying “Ah” remained in his ears. The archer behind him released a sharp-flying arrow. Shouts of “Yes!” reverberated.

Kanbayashi’s third shot came around. He could feel his hands shaking. He didn’t know how to interpret this first-time sensation. What did Narumiya-senpai say? To overcome target panic, focus on breathing and exhale slowly. Exhale, exha…, oh no, I can’t do it—.

Again, before he even drew his bow back, the arrow was released in an instant. The sound of the aluminum arrow sweeping across the ground resounded, and it pierced the target after bouncing.

It was almost terrifying for an archer.

After shooting all four arrows, Kanbayashi didn’t make any matooto, while Kaito, Seiya, and Minato landed all their arrows, and the others ended the first round with three hits.

Once he left the kyudojo, Kanbayashi buried his face in his hands. His heart was still pounding. “Don’t be so hard on yourself,” Nanao called out, but Kanbayashi’s face was so stiff that all he could manage was a forced smile.

This is so embarrassing. I became a complete mess in front of my senpais and my family who came to support me.

I’ve been practicing and practicing, but when the actual competition comes, I end up like this. What am I doing—.

Kanbayashi gripped the arrows that he retrieved.

“Please remove me from the lineup for tomorrow’s team competition! I can’t do it! I definitely have target panic! I don’t want to be a burden on everyone!”

This time it wasn’t Kanbayashi, but Minato and the second-years who were blinking rapidly.

It was Kaito who responded. “Oi, oi. We’re still only halfway through the individual competition. Why don’t you just hit the remaining four?”

“Tommy-sensei, you’re knowledgeable about physics too?” Kanbayashi said.

Kanbayashi changed his mindset and practiced dantian breathing as Minato put his hand on his lower abdomen.

As for the results of the individual competition, Kazemai’s Minato, Seiya, and Kaito, Kirisaki’s Shuu, Kabashima, and Kuon, Haneina’s Asahina and Eddie, and Seo from the girls’ division would be advancing to prefecturals.

The second day was the team competition.

The first round. The Haneina team, who were famous as Yotubers, drew a lot of attention for their shooting.

The oomae was Eddie Fox.

His long, blond hair was tied high up on his head, and a headband was tied around his forehead. He looked like an actor in a period drama. Once he gripped his bow, his jokester persona disappeared as his eyes sharpened, his breathing became shallower, and his face became dreadfully serious. A burst of sound resounded from the target area as he took advantage of a momentary gap and got in close to his opponent.

The second target was Matsuda Kotetsu.

He had poor vision, and the world he saw was composed of multicolored balls of light. His hearing was above average, and he had an excellent sense of perception. Whenever he stood before the target, he always stood behind someone else because it was easier to perceive the distance when someone was standing in front of him. Kyudo was a sport that could be played by people of all ages, and physical differences were no handicap. With the use of remote video conferencing, it was even possible to have a match with people on the other side of the world at the same time.

The third target was the naka, Kanuma Nobuhiko.

He was a haiku poet who loved writing haikus. He was staring absentmindedly into space during the middle of a competition.

A staff member approached him and asked him in a whisper, “Hey, what’s wrong? Are you not feeling well?”

“The eye of the snake/the white water surface holds/the golden-scaled fish. I tried to write a poem about carps living in a pond, but I guess it’s too mediocre. On a summer’s day/the koi frolic and a cat/sleeps beneath a tree. How’s that?” (3)

“This isn’t a haiku contest, it’s a kyudo tournament! Concentrate on your shooting!”

“Okaaay.”

Kanuma nocked his arrow. The spectators who had witnessed the scene were taken aback by his lack of nervousness and extraordinary strength of his heart.

The fourth target was the ochimae, Igarashi Shion.

He was the Gardening Prince who loved flowers. Even when he was sitting in his chair in the waiting room, he kept fresh flowers with him and left them with his tsurumaki. Even his bow was decorated with flowers he drew himself, and there were even people who wanted him to sell it to them. His shooting was as sweet-smelling as a flower and created the illusion of a fairy flying.

The fifth person was the ochi, Asahina You.

His red hair symbolized the rising sun. He parted his bow and followed the correct tsurumichi path. What was beautiful was good, and what was good was true. If you sought beauty and aesthetic, you would naturally follow the right path without being aware of it. Far from concepts such as “seeking the truth” and “ascetic training,” and the irrepressible joy that radiated from him captivated those who watched him. Of course, there were occasional clashes of opinion, but they knew when to quit, so there were no lingering resentments. Making videos was a great way to learn about life and society, as what one said and did was constantly exposed to the public eye. It wasn’t easy to communicate something to others. True expressive people seemed to be free and unfettered at first glance, but they kept their feet on the ground and devoted themselves to their work.

The five of them carved out the Eight Stages of Shooting.

The results were announced over the loudspeaker.

“The results will be announced now. First shooting range, Team 17, four, four, three, four, four, nineteen hits total. Second shooting range, Team 18, four, two, two, four, 12 hits total. That is all.”

Kirisaki won, and Kazemai went after them.

The oomae, Kaito, drew his bow tightly. He relaxed his hands and stretched his upper arms.

More force, more force. He stretched and stretched—then released. The arrow was sucked into the target while spinning clockwise.

The second target, Ryouhei, didn’t only grow in height. He had the dignity of an archer, and he shot with majesty. He was someone who had love for everyone. He would continue to have affection for himself and others for the rest of his life. The target accurately reflected the archer, and the round target, without deceit or calculation, was waiting to be pierced.

The naka, Seiya, was also clearly different from who he was a year ago. He took off his obstinate armor and stretched his limbs freely. He hated himself. He hated irrationality, fate, all of it. When he became entwined with hatred and fell into a swamp, there was someone who reached out to him. That person said that they didn’t care what kind of person he was.

The ochimae, Kanbayashi, began to carry out his shot. He concentrated on the lower abdomen that Minato had put his hand on before.

The dantian is “here.”

Now, gather the light here.

He threw away all speech and listened only to the sound of his breathing. When the wind calmed down, his arrow flew at high speed.

The ochi was Minato. He summoned the wind that should have stopped. The wind that rushed around the earth was the land’s breath. Once you were able to feel that, you became a wind user. He manipulated the wind at will and connected it to a new era.

The tsurune took everything away.

For the results of the first round, Kazemai had fifteen hits out of twenty.

After the first and second rounds were completed, Kirisaki had thirty-six hits, Haneina had thirty-five, and Kazemai had thirty-three.

All three schools made it through the preliminaries.

After the tournament, the Kazemai second-years and Masa-san waited for a car to pick them up. Tommy-sensei and the first-years went home first. Waves of people came and went to the other shore.

Minato, Seiya, and Ryouhei sat on the edge of a flower bed. Ryouhei immediately started to eat his sweets. Seiya, finding the verse from “Greensleeves” stuck in his head, couldn’t help but hum it.

He met eyes with Masa-san, who was next to them.

“Is that an English folk song? You know a lot of old songs, Seiya.”

“If you know it, then you must be ancient as well, Masa-san. Minato’s mom used to hum it. Oh, it can’t be helped if you don’t know it.”

A bell was rung. Fighters burned with quiet fighting spirit.

Seeing the two jab at each other, Nanao quickly took out his phone. He entered the search words, and the English lyrics and translation were displayed.

Kaito peered at them.

“What’s this? Isn’t this just a guy who got dumped and kept whining about it? Isn’t it too obsessive to say at the end, ‘Goodbye, please come here again and love me?’”

“Kacchan, you don’t understand heartbreak at all.”

“Hah? I don’t need to.”

“Yep, that’s what I thought.”

Ryouhei said that he would eat all the sweets.

“What kind of woman is Greensleeves? He’s calling her name over and over, right?”

Seiya was the one who answered. “I did some research, but the prevailing theory seems to be that it’s a metaphor and not a real name. There are various theories that Greensleeves is a prostitute, a dead person, or a ghost. Also, some people think that Greensleeves isn’t a song about lost love, but more like a hymn.”

For a moment, sound disappeared.

Even though it should have been extremely noisy with all the people around, the area was so silent that it made their ears hurt. Even the birds were quiet.

Masa-san murmured a few words.

“Green kosode—. (6) I think it’s talking about the upper arm.”

“What do you mean?” Minato asked.

“There’s a custom in the West to wear green when one turns into a spirit. When you think of Santa Claus, you think of red clothes, but that was because he was dressed in a company’s image color in advertisements, and in England, he was originally dressed in green. According to one theory, Santa Claus is Saint Nicholas, that is, a clergyman. He is a person who seems to have existed, and his name and deeds are passed on to his disciples.”

“What does that have to do with ‘upper arms’?”

“I think ‘Greensleeves’ refers to the arms themselves. It’s ‘green sleeves.’ When you touch the arm of a person, a miracle will occur. That makes them a vessel of the divine.”

Masa-san typed into his phone.

Alas, my love, you do me wrong.

Greensleeves was all my joy.

Greensleeves was my delight.

Oh, my chest feels like it’s about to burst. You who bestow love, how cruel you are.

Seiya spoke.

“That sound like words dedicated to God. A somewhat critical song of lamentation and resignation.”

“Greensleeves may have been a person who had a healing hand that could cure illnesses and injuries, or maybe she was a saint. There are even those who say that it is the name of God. It’s distinct from the secular world and doesn’t appear openly. Even if you’re attracted by, yearn for, adore, sacrifice yourself, and give up all your wealth and power for the singing voice that you overhear from the church, you cannot touch ‘it.’”

“I see. In that case, I can at least acknowledge the manly spirit of ‘I’ll stop you even if I have to cling to you,’” Kaito said. (7)

“Kacchan, this isn’t a rugby play. And ‘manly spirit,’ really? You completely ruined the mood,” Nanao said.

 Seiya lowered his eyes and took off his glasses.

“Being abandoned by God might be an indication that humans are irredeemable.”

Shiragiku’s expression clouded over, and she gripped Seo and Hanazawa’s hands.

“How awful…it was such a wonderful melody.”

As everyone fell silent, Minato pondered.

Has God abandoned humans?

Is this really true? Didn’t I forget something important?

“You’re wrong! Such a sad and gentle melody could never be a criticism and lament to God. This is a joyful song for a coming-of-age ceremony!” he started shouting.

Before he knew it, everyone was staring at him blankly. The three girls shrank back while still holding hands.

Masa-san tried to follow Minato’s thought process.

“Coming-of-age ceremony? What’s with this all of a sudden? Where did your thoughts fly to, Minato?”

“I remembered my mother’s words. She said that at coming-of-age ceremonies, it’s a ‘song of naru.’”

“…What do you mean? Did your mother have a shrine maiden disposition?

“No, she was a normal mom.”

“Don’t put too much stock in what Narumiya calls ‘normal.’ By the way, who’s Naru? Is that a new character? Now I’m even more confused.”

If Yamato's and Hyuga's little sisters snuck into Oya

Yamato's Baby Sister ->

Yamato's little sister is the toughest kid in daycare. You need someone to stomp a spider? She's on it. You need someone to pick up two chairs instead of one? She's the first one there.

So when she was having a play date with her friends from daycare, they were told that sneaking into the delinquent high school was the scariest and coolest thing other kids from daycare have been dared to do.

When Yamato's little sister learned that kids that had bragged going into Oya had only stepped foot in high school for only a couple of minutes, it was a call for a challenge.

"Excuse me," A small voice came out of thin air. Yasushi looked back and forth but saw absolutely no one. He swore he saw everyone leave the gymnasium after the fight with Kiyoshi and some other guy from the Chun-Chun faction.

Oh no. Was Jamuo actually telling the truth, that their high school was haunted-?

"Hello?" Something tugged the fabric of his pants. Yasushi was never so relieved when he looked down before reacting, he would have felt so bad for kicking the little girl in front of him.

He squatted down and looked at her for a long moment.

Yasushi scratched his head, "Um. Where did you come from?"

She blinked, "My mommy."

"That's not- Okay, never mind."

The little girl looked down at her shoes, tapping them together. "Uh.. I don' think 'm supposed to be here."

"Makes two of us." He jabbed a hand at her, "I think I should take you to someone that can help."

Yasushi took her down the hallways, and to her benefit, they didn't seem so scary anymore now that she wasn't alone!

Except she kinda got scared when a couple of guys came barreling down, not stopping for anything, and Yasushi had swiped the small child into his grasp before she got stomped on.

Finally, he found someone some-what responsible, Todoroki... as well as Fujio.

"Yasushi. Why do you have a baby on you?" Todoroki said trying not to sound startled.

"Nuh-uh not a baby, I'm turning five!" She pouted.

"Duh, Todoroki." Fujio crossed his arms and shook his head, "She's turning five."

She nodded very happily.

"She just popped out of nowhere. Y'know what? Maybe she's the ghost Jamuo saw here last month," Yasushi nudged the top of her head with the end of his finger. She looked up at him, almost like an exhuasted adult, as he treated her head like a bobble head.

Todoroki kicked him away, while Fujio crouched down to approach her.

Fujio smiled and patted her head, "Your mom must be worried sick. Do you know her phone number?"

She shook her head to all the guys' dismay, "No... and Mommy can't pick me up!"

"Why not?" Todoroki sighs.

"Mommy works. Yamato picks me up."

"Who's Yamato?" Fujio asks.

"My big brother!" She beams and pulls out a crumpled piece of paper out of her pocket. The two stick figures were her and her brother, she explained and babbled. Fujio and Yasushi both try to examine the drawing, trying to see if they can recognize anything familiar from the drawing.

While the two idiots looked closely at the child drawing, she sat with Todoroki, trying to get answers that would help.

"Do you know your address?"

"No!" She said while scribbling on a new sheet of paper Todoroki found for her.

"Okay, maybe you remember signs you've seen? Stores or restaurants you go to?"

"Oh!" She nodded and started to babble again, "Itokan! Naomi makes me yummy food and and and Cobra shares shakes with me. Strawberry shakes! Cause Yamato is a meanie... He don't like to share."

Todorki put his hands in face and cursed loud enough for Yasushi and Fujio to hear. The girl just giggled in her hands, kicking her legs back and forth.

She didn't really notice the panicked whispers and possible strangling noises as she drew her little drawings on the papers on the barely standing desk.

If this was high school, then high school is weird.

Todoroki managed to get a response from Murayama via text. Cobra's number as per requested, and reluctantly, he dialed it.

While that was happening, the little girl gave Yasushi a cat drawing with really pointy teeth and Fujio a dog with a big smile on it.

"Yamato!" She ran across the classroom and jumped right into his arms.

Yamato sighed, saying her name in clear exasperation, but held onto his sister tightly.

"Cobra!" She waved over Yamato's shoulders.

Cobra was busy taking in the situation, looking at the worn-down classroom for any suspicious activity. But it seemed that Todoroki was honest on the phone. She really did wander here on her own.

"Are you okay? Do you know what I've been doing all day? Looking for you, everyone was looking-" Yamato glared and held her up to get better look at her. She was covered head to toe in dust, her shoes turned grey and even her jeans torn a little on the bottom.

"Why are you dirty- why is she dirty?" Yamato stared down at his sister's (assumed) captors. "What the hell did you do to her?"

Cobra put a hand at his shoulder, trying to prevent him from doing anything serious.

"WHAT? She was like that wh-" Todoroki jammed a fist into Yasushi stomach to make him shut up. Meanwhile, Fujio put on his best customer service smile as his brain was racking for a suitable answer.

"Yamato, Yamato," She tugged on the collar of his shirt. "I was super sneaky. I went under the fence. I'm a spy! But, But, then they found me."

In a much gentler tone, he asked, "Pipsqueak, Did they hurt you?"

"Nuh-uh." She pointed at Yasushi, "He helped me! I was a little scared. But I like it here, they like my drawings! Can we come back Yamato??"

Still lurched over, recovering from Todoroki's punch, he rasped out, "...It's true."

Exhausted, Yamato rubbed his eyes and muttered under his breath, "I swear to god, this is the third time."

Fujio tried to offer the rest of paper they found for her to take with her but Yamato crumbled it up and threw it away. Before they left Todoroki got an angry looking cat drawing from Yamato's little sister and a subtle nod of acknowledgement from Yamato.

Cobra was the only who said "Thank you" and to "Not cause too much trouble."

Cobra turned around to look at Fujio, "Murayama said you were the best choice for Oya High. You better hope he's right."

Hyuga's Little Sister ->

• Hyuga's little sister is a problem solver. Her teacher says she applies logic well but her antics were a bit much.

• She currently was going through a bit a of a stubborn phase. When Hyuga said they were having miso soup for dinner but she wanted pasta. When Hyuga said not to stay up too late, she wanted to watch a movie right before bed. When Hyuga said she wasn't allowed to have spray paint because "You have crayons like a normal child."

• But to Hyuga's little sister crayons were so last season and she wanted her poster for her school project to look cool. When they drove by Oya High one time the spray paint looked so much better than markers and crayons.

The fifth time Hyuga said 'No' made her get on a train and end up at Oya High. She snuck into an open window (it was actually just broken).

She wandered around until she found spray paint bottles hanging around. She found the jackpot in an empty room, and this room actually had a door! She took all the spray paints and went further into the school to find more.

"What are you doing?"

She didn't flinch or jump when she got caught. She was busy standing on a desk, reaching for a can of spray paint on the shelf and successfully stuffing it in her backpack.

This room didn't have a door like the previous one. She was just about to move out of the room before this blonde guy came around.

"I'm busy. Shoo Shoo," She gestured, shooing him away.

"Are you stealing?" Tsukasa said, tilting his head at the stuffed backpack.

"No..." She pouted and crossed her arms, avoiding his eyes.

Tsukasa sighed and looked at the ceiling, thinking. "Okay, how about this? You tell me what you're doing here, and I can try to help."

"Big brother didn't wanna buy me spray paint..." She huffed again. "I don't wanna use crayons for my project."

"Does your brother go to Oya?"

"No," She shook her head and sat down, "He's older."

Then she realized she didn't know how to exactly get home.

Tsukasa asks, sitting on top of the desk across from her, "Do you know where you live? Your Mom and Dad must be really worried."

She seemed to get even smaller at his words. ".. I don't have a Mommy and Daddy. Only big brother."

"Oh," Tsukasa looked a little lost. He almost apologized but cleared his throat and smiled, "That's okay. So your big brother takes care of you, right? He must want to know where you are."

"But he might get mad," She frowns, hugging her backpack. She snuck out of school early to do this. Her brother must have been going crazy when Sakyo and Ukyo came home to tell him she was gone.

"He won't get mad," Tsukasa shakes his head, "I think he'll be happy to know you're okay."

He successfully managed to get her to agree to come with her on the rooftop. Tsukasa gave her a rubix cube he found on one of the couches for her to fiddle on while he went to get Jamuo and Fujio.

Fujio greeted her warmly, but still she scooted into the corner of the couch and fidgeted with the rubix cube.

Jamuo and Tsukasa looked through her backpack for anything that could help them find her guardian, but no luck there.

Tsukasa called her name, and she lifted her head up. "What's your brother name?"

"I'm not allowed to say," She said.

"How come?" Fujio asked.

"Big brother said not to tell people his name."

"Fujio, Tsukasa," Jamuo called out, pulling out a pink folder out of her backpack. His hands were shaking.

Alaramed, they went over while she pulled stickers out of her sweater. Graffiti was everywhere, so she thought it would be fine to stick things on the beaten up desks and chairs.

Jamuo pulled out a piece of paper out of the folder. Fujio was confused at the site of elementary school math homework. But then Tsukasa's eyes widened with a small 'Fuck.'

It had the little girl's first name and last name. Hyuga.

Tsukasa ran his hands through his hair, "We're so fucked."

Thankfully, Hyuga's casinos had phone lines. Unfortunately, they were notified that Hyuga would be arriving soon.

Tsukasa pulled all the spray paint out of her backpack to her dismay.

"But.. you said you would help me," She frowned.

"Spray paint can be dangerous to inhale," Tsukasa

replied, clearly distracted, cause he was barely paying attention to her as he put the cans of spray paint away.

There was no point in arguing, so she sulked and looked at Jamuo, who was on his knees on the floor. He was mumbling to himself, clearly not doing so great.

She tugged at Fujio's shirt, "Does he always do that?"

Fujio smiled, friendly, collected, even though his mind was in a very different place. "No, he doesn't. He'll be fine, don't worry."

Fujio let her put her stickers on the door to the roof. Letting her talk his ear off about the Hello Kitty ones and the Lightning McQueen ones her big brother bought for her.

Hyuga's presence had all of them with the same expression, like a deer in front of headlights. You could hear a pin drop before she scuffled over to Hyuga, Sakyo, and Ukyo.

She had her hands behind her back, pouting with her big puppy eyes.

"Are you mad at me?"

"Check her," Hyuga glanced at her for a moment before looking at Fujio.

Jamuo had his back bent all the way down in a deep bow while Tsukasa couldn't make eye contact or he would start sweating.

Sakyo leaned down, hands on his knees, "You okay Lil' demon? Are you hurt anywhere?"

She nodded frantically and stuck her pointer finger out, "Paper cut."

Hyuga's face became colder, and Fujio thought they were all going to die because of a paper cut.

Sakyo whistled and shook his head, "Well that's no good." His twin handed him a band-aid and Sakyo put it on her.

"Hello Kitty," She smiled at her wrapped finger.

"Are those hers?" Hyuga looked at Fujio's face and shirt. Stickers were scattered across his shirt and his cheek and chin.

"Oh, yeah," Fujio wanted to laugh, but he just smiled stiffly, "She's a good kid."

Hyuga grunted and grabbed the pastel pink backpack Ukyo handed to him. He looked down at his sister, "Did they try to steal you?"

"No, I got lost," She was using her best puppy dog eyes so he wouldn't get mad, "They gave me toys!" She stuck out her hand with the rubix cube.

Hyuga looked at the Oya students for a long time, then at the twins, and then at his sister. He gave her his hand before telling her, "We're leaving."

Just as he reached the rooftop entrance, he looked at Fujio, "Just because I made the sword alliance with Murayama, doesn't mean I made it with you. Remember that."

Meeting Him Again Pt.2

Character: Jesse x Reader

Summary: Running away isn’t a good idea. He found you.

Note: Sorry for taking too long to do this. I’m having a second thought to post since I love to reread my story and then contemplating whether I need to delete it or not. But enjoy!

Pt.2

The word has been going around in your mind for hours after he left your apartment. You can’t be with him again, no. He is a criminal.

The one that has been sent to Rasen.

In S.W.O.R.D there are two types of prison, Rasen and Sun King. If you go to Rasen it’s bad enough but Sun King? Oh no.

You just got the news that he has been transferred to Sun King because of his behaviour and now he’s out from there. He wasn’t supposed to be out this soon.

Somebody pay his way out.

That is a good reason to leave S.W.O.R.D and starts your life somewhere else. Maybe Tokyo.

Or Hokkaido.

In a nutshell, anywhere is better than S.W.O.R.D .

The clock shows the time, it’s 7.45 am and you haven’t slept since he left. You were busy packing your things and called your friends to help and thank god your apartment are already empty by 6.40.

Carrying your backpack, you lock the door before heading downstairs. You wave at the taxi before opened up the door.

“Can you go to Asahina Garage?”

“Ok miss.” You silently thank the god.

You left your bike there, for maintenance. You look at your phone, trying to see the shikansen's schedule. Train to Tokyo left at 9.30 am. You still got time to get your bike, drop it at your friends place and go to the train station.

By the time you arrived in front of the garage, you gave the taxi driver a hefty amount of money without letting him to get the change.

You went inside, there he is.

“Yamato, is my bike done?” You asked the male.

He look up to you before smile.

“ Well, just the oil and I guess it’s good to go.” His words calmed you down.

You let out a relieve sigh before shaking the man’s hand.

“Thank you, I appreciate it. Here.” You gave him the money.

He count it before hitting it on his palm. Yamato went to the search the key. Suddenly, your phone ringing.

Your brow arched, why did he call you?

It’s no surprise that you are kind of close with the male but he never really call you in the morning.

“Koo, what happened?”

From the sound of his voice, you can say that the guy lost his calm personality.

“Rocky’s hurt?” You look at Yamato's direction before going outside.

“You mean to tell me that Rocky’s got beaten up?” You know this doesn’t concern you but Rocky is the best boss ever.

“Ok, take care.”

“Your keys.” Yamato’s voice shocked you.

“Thanks. Tell Cobra I say hi.” He gave you his usual smile.

You starts the engine before take off. Koo's words had been going around your mind. You look at the clock, one hour before the train leaves.

You decided to visit your boss at his club. Koo said that all the worker has been giving day off for today. You didn’t came to work once and numerous occasions already take places.

Arriving at the club, you quickly turn off the engine before going inside, your eyes caught the sight of the inside. The club is ruin.

You saw Rocky drinking his usual drink. His eyes widen and stands up once he saw you at the entrance.

“(Y/n) what are you doing here?” You hug his tall figure before take a look at the wound.

One on the forehead, busted lips and lots of bruises. Even thought he’s all bruise up, he still got his handsome look.

“Koo called. He said that someone broke into the club and beat you guys up. Do you know him boss?”

Rocky stay silent even after you forced him to spit it out. Eventually you gave up.

Suddenly you remember, you didn’t quit your job yet. You look at him, feeling guilty for what you’re about to say.

“Hey, actually....”

You took a deep breath, in five minutes you would be gone from this life. You already got the ticket to Tokyo and you will begin your new life there.

As you walk past the bento shop, you halted your movements to see the food. You found your favourite, omurice. You pay for the food before continuing your steps.

Your eyes caught a silhouette of someone. At first you thought that you were wrong but the who suddenly put his hand on your shoulder proves you wrong.

You are scared to look at him.

He found you.

“I told you not to run right?” Your breath hitched and your legs suddenly stops.

Jesse tilted his head to the side to see you. He uses his other hand to move your head, facing his face. He smiled at your reaction.

“Let me go.” Your words almost like a whisper. Jesse smirked before his grip on your shoulder tighten.

“Bunny, don’t make a scene here.” He whispered. You almost run from him but you felt something on your waist.

Something sharp.

You froze, Jesse took the opportunity to drag you with him. When you move a bit, you felt like the tip almost pierce into your clothes.

By the time both of you went out from the train station, you saw a yellow Lamborghini at the parking lot. You didn’t have the gut to ask if he stole that car.

He pushed you inside before opening the driver’s door. Without wasting any time, he starts the engine and drove off from the parking lot. Tears left your eyes after you hold it for long. Jesse took a glimpse at your face, he scoffed before wiping it. His calloused finger grips your jaw, not too hard but not too soft either. Enough to stop you from moving.

“Don’t cry bunny. You hurt me.” His low voice send chills down your spine. He let go of your jaw before making a turn.

How you wish you could run far away from him now.

Why you didn’t move far away when you got time?

Before you know it, both of you arrived at their hideout. The white building stays the same even after six years. The same building and a bit secluded from others. Not your usual traditional Japanese house.

“After my pretty lady.” His voice shocked you.

You look up to him, his smile never left his face. You got out from the car. Jesse took your hand before going into the house. Despite every effort that you put to make him let your hand go, it never work. He tighten his grips as a warning for you to behave.

Loud noises calmed down once you entered the place. All of the people there stared at you for quite sometime, that was until Bernie started to run to you.

“(Y/n), is this you?” He said, amazed.

Bernie hug you and you froze. Back then, he loves to hug you as you are the only one who love to spend time with him. But now, you don’t know.

All of them are criminals, and you want nothing to do with them.

“ Welcome back.” You look at the man, Ice raise up his glass as a welcome gesture.

While all of them still fussing over your return, you felt empty and deep down you want to run away from here.

Jesse left you with Bernie, 9, Pearl, Diddy with his girlfriend and Sarah at the living room. He and Ice went somewhere else. This is awkward.

You kept drinking the alcohol and doesn’t even what time is it now.

“ Yo checked this out.” Bernie’s voice illuminates the whole room.

He started to play the beat and the next thing you know they started rapping all of the sudden.

Very Bernie and 9.

“How long have you been with Jesse?” Your head perks up.

Sarah, who was drinking earlier finally gives attention to you.

“Well, we met around seven years ago.”

“Yeah and they’ve been a couple since.” Pearl added, in which making your brows furrowed.

“Um, we broke up already.” Their faces dropped.

Sudden 9 and Bernie wasn’t paying attention to their song anymore and Diddy look at you like he’s seeing ghost.

“Are you kidding me?” Was the only thing that 9 manages to say.

Well, it’s not their fault. Jesse was crazy back then, and still is. No one and not even you dared to oppose him.

“I, where’s the toilet?” Before they get to say anything, this is the right time to run.

You still remember the house layout. The toilet is next to the kitchen, and the kitchen back door is always locked. But the windows aren’t.

You examine your surroundings before opened up the window. Thank god it’s big enough for your body to get through.

“Ranmaru paid already. Tomorrow we’ll destroy the Rascals.” You stopped your tracks at the voice.

Rascals? White Rascals?

You peek a little from behind the white wall, Jesse is talking to a group of guy.

“Do I need to go?” The guy with blonde hair asked.

“Well, he paid already. We should get the job done.”

Your fist clenched together.

So he’s the one who beat Rocky?

“What’s that?” You look on your left, two cats were fighting.

When you tried to shoo'ed them away, the blonde guy already appear next to you. His face shows no remorse.

He dragged you from behind the wall. Your eyes met Jesse’s. You quickly pulled your hand from his grip, before walking away from him. You stood in front of Jesse, staring deep into his eyes.

“Were you eavesdropping?” He asked. His face changed from smiling to serious.

“ I happened to be there. Now send me back please.” If you ever learned something from your relationship in the past, it is not to eavesdropped his conversation.

Jesse doesn’t like disrespect, doesn’t matter if it comes from his love one. But he tolerates it when it comes to you.

“ Go to my room and wait there bunny. I got business to settle.” He tucks the stray hair behind your ear and push you slightly.
