Last day of the year has finally arrived and I couldnt be happier. In 2023 my game was turned from hard mode and set to nightmare mode. (The universe was like "you thought you had it tough, here, hold my beer…" 😆) Therefore, considering everything, Im very proud of the things Ive managed to accomplish. Im also so immensely grateful for the love and support from the wonderful people all around me, from my friends and family, coworkers and acquaintances, from my boss and all my lovely followers, from the wonderful people adoption my creatures, sharing and loking, from the ones believeing in me no matter what, and the ones that reached out even tho they didnt even know me, from all and everyone, and yes that includes you who read this right now. Im so very grateful to you! ❤️ From the bottom of my heart I wish you all a insanely happy and breathtakingly magical 2024. Lets decide it is going to be the best year we ever had! ✨️🌟✨️

The Soul Dancer

The Soul Dancer, my 4th time making her, (2:nd time as an ardoll) and my fave result to date. Every time she become a little more grand, (in my opinion at least 😁), wich is fun cause that mean I improve. She is fully handmade and stand 23.6" tall. I took this pic 3 weeks ago, actually the last time I saw the sun. I miss it! ☀️ More pics will come, but until then, have a lovely weekend!

Soul Dancers, keepers and protectors of life, carrier of souls. Invisible to the human eye they are spirits from a realm very close to our physical reality. Moving like wind and shadows they dance under the moon and stars, leap over the lands as the sun rise, one with nature, happy and free. Sometime you can catch a glimps of them, like a sudden shudder over a still lake, a flicker of light in the dark of the forest, a warm breeze in the middle of winter. They are always there, watching, waiting - for seasons to change, years to pass and souls to depart. When a living being in much pain and/or distress leaves our world a Soul Dancer is there to welcome the soul and gather it up in its cage of energy. There the soul go to slumber in a cocoon of light, safe and protected, healing as time pass by. And when the time is right it hatch into a beautiful butterfly - ready to fly off to get reborn once more. And so the never ending circle of life continues, now as always, for all of eternity.

CALIGARI GUY - A series of pieces I designed for Designercon 2021 Inspired by the movie The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari! This is one of my proudest projects, I would love to revisit this format again because I think it still has so much to give.

Each stands about 12” tall, and consists of painted and screenprinted chipboard as the structure, with a Resin figure of “ceasar” from the movie mounted inside an acrylic blister bubble.

These are long sold, but I would hope people would be interested in more resin-papercraft combinations, another idea quite like this has escaped me so far, but I intend to not let it illude me for much longer :}
