🇭🇹 #ArtIsAWeapon
I never expect colonizers or their descendents in the U.S. to care or tell the truth about history, but I do want US to learn, recognize and act accordingly.
Y'all, please STOP repeating the ignorant, hateful, lies spewed by the white supremacist ex-president, his weirdo running mate, his sycophants or his cult members.
There would be no American revolution without Haiti.

"Every now and again I have to bring this post back. But you patriots carry on....
(Photo 1 by Dana Gluckstein)
And to the diaspora out there in the Caribbean, USA, Europe, Africa demonising Haitians, I hope you are aware this is rooted in complete Anti-Blackness. Y'all too can carry on.
There is no coincidence that the one country in the world that successfully freed themselves from slavery on their own terms is still today seen as a demonic, dog eating sh*t hole country. Do the math.
Ok bye!"

“Tinkers with home appliances (bad habit)” Me too, Marina. Me too.
(I wonder if Pearl has ever walked in on Marina sitting in a pile of deconstructed toasters with an absolutely devastated expression.)
Oh you bet it has happened
