Since this year is coming to a close, here’s my 2024 art calendar! I didn’t this last year cuz I’m stupid so I’m doing it this year!

January: I was doing a lot of original illustrations with my newer story Starchild and I liked this one a lot! I def experimented a lot. It’s nice to add illustrations to story ideas!

February: a redraw! Clover is my beloved and I drew him a lot in the beginning of the year. I miss him 😔😔😔

March: Kori!! This was a request when I was in a slump :)))

April: my king of the Gerudo cover image! Maybe someday I’ll work on that fanfic but I keep running into walls as I write it . Ugh. But I’m super proud of the cover image!

May: talon meeting the Fierce Deity. I love this illustration. The composition and lighting turned out really nice, exactly how I pictured it as I wrote the fic, which I also like :)))

June: midlink family photo :D

July: Odysseus confronting Poseidon. During my unhealthy obsession with the Odyssey. I really loved the rendering on this one. Turned out really good for such an ambitious drawing.

August: eyepatch Linebeck 😍

September: a little card idea of my oc Navann. I just like the artwork a lot. It’s very nice.

October: gosh, I’m so mad cuz my lbl cover image was made during this month BUT, I had to use my whumptober art to show that I did that! I’m proud of this day in particular. The raw emotion is good and was fun to do.

November: the puppeteer chilling :) I’m really proud of this lighting here and the rendering!

Another day done, here is alien number 7, Lucky Charm 🪼

Lucky Charm's main power is being able to put an invisible protective charm spell and things that are alive, basically putting a shield-like coat across the bodies of others to give them a higher defense and save them from more dangerous situations hopefully. This protective ward is constant on their own bodies, so while they're not great at fighting, it is very hard to actually damage a member of this species unless you really mean it. They also float around, and have the ability to breathe on land, water, and space, and can naturally regenerate over time. Their tendrils can also move around and grab things, though don't have a massively strong grip.

Man. I wonder what I was fixated on for most of the year. Not seen is the alternate version of this where December was a Mario drawing. I am very proud of my art this year I have improved sm.
