For me, as a fan of the first seasons of The Flash, this date is something special.

It is now that I realize that the future has truly arrived. I remember the day I watched the pilot of the series and saw this date. Then I thought, damn, I have to wait another ten years, wow, that’s a long time...

And now we are here.

April 25, 2024.

The day the Flash disappeared in a flash of light while fighting Reverse Flash. Who would have thought, right?

We survived. Wow.

Thursday is Flash day. Thursday is review day for the first season.

Thursday is April 25, 2024.

Thursday is the day Flash missing vanishes in crisis.

ok but what if bianca had lived?? “oh nico would still be that happy little kid” yeah sure cool but im not talking about nico im talking about bianca. ofc she still would’ve been part of the hunters, i think she would’ve loved reyna actually, and she would spend eternity with artemis and the hunters. great! now what would her powers be??? this wasn’t really hinted at or explored in ttc so this opens many new avenues for my hyperactive imagination 🤭💗

first of all, you could argue that her powers were revealed in the scene where she, zoë, percy, thalia, and grover were attacked by skeletons. bianca was the only one who could drive them away. but that’s not much, is it? i mean she’s a hades kid, she’s gonna have a relationship with the dead, right?

bianca might have had ghe same powers as nico—raising and interacting with the dead—but i’d like to explore another idea for the sake of tumblr post. what if bianca’s powers were to inflict death rather than interact with it? now i’m not saying that she can just snappity snap her fingers and someone just drops dead, and she can’t LIYERALLY inflict death, because that’s thanatos’ domain, but maybe she can accelerate it? like if an enemy is suffering from a fatal wound or something, she could like cause death to reach their soul faster. idk i love bianca and i think we should see her as an individual character instead of nico’s sister 💗💗🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈💗💗💥💥💥‼️

Currently alternating among the four Arrowverse series (Arrow s05, The Flash s03, Legends of Tomorrow s02, Supergirl s02), Constantine, Marvel's Daredevil s03 (it's really good, can't believe they went and cancelled it), Reacher s02 (giant man), and Glee s04.

Had a blast watching Grant Gustin as both the hero in The Flash and the antagonist in Glee s03. Update: Oh, he's in Glee s04 as well. ❤️

Demigod’s Guide to Weapons

Hey, demigods!

It's Kally again!

So, I'm sure you all know that it's difficult to survive as a demigod. There are constantly monsters sniffing us out and trying to kill us (Unless you live in New Rome). In order to survive, we need to know how to defend ourselves from these monsters. And for most demigods, that means learning to use a ✨weapon✨

Of course, it's technically possible to just learn self-defense and hand-to-hand combat, but it's going to make your life a whole lot harder than it needs to be.

Therefore, I'm going to do a short intro to some common weapons demigods use. I'll go into more detail later on, make some posts exploring each weapon, get some tips from different experts in each category.

Let's get started!

Sword

The sword is a pretty standard weapon. The general structure is a long metal stick with a sharp edge, and a handle that the user holds on to. Some famous demigods that use swords include Percy Jackson, Jason Grace, Nico di Angelo, and Hazel Levesque.

There are a few different shapes and styles depending on what you're going for, but there's a little too much to go into in this post. For now, just think about whether or not you want a one-handed, two-handed, short, long, straight, or curved blade. And don't be afraid to try different ones out!

2. Bow and Arrow

This is probably one of the oldest weapons still in common use. Basically a wood or metal curved frame tied with a string. You have an arrow that you attach to the string, pull back, and release the arrow. The arrow will fly wherever you aim (assuming it's not cursed, or that you're not Percy Jackson. [Never go near the archery range when Percy is there and always, always fear for your life if you do]).

The bow is often favored by hunters, such as Apollo and his kids and the Hunters of Artemis. You might have already met Kayla and Austin at Camp Half-Blood, or Frank Zhang at Camp Jupiter. If you have any questions for them, feel free to ask! They're all super nice! Or I can ask for you, if you want.

3. Spear

The spear is a type of polearm, or a short blade on the end of a long shaft. This is a weapon that's good for a mix of mid-range to close-ish-range combat. Usually, if you're in true close-range, a spear will be more of a hindrance than a help. Some users include Jason Grace, Reyna Avila Ramirez-Arellano, and Clarisse LaRue.

4. Dagger

The dagger resembles a shorter sword. Typically, the blade ranges from five to twelve inches, and therefore is often confused with a knife (some slight differences that I'll cover in my post about them). Some users include Annabeth Chase and Piper McLean.

Daggers are very useful very close-range combat. There is little reach, so you have to understand how to get through your opponents defenses. Often recommended for an experienced, fast, and clever fighter.

Generally not recommended for beginners, but if you can master it, you be a truly terrifying opponent.

LOL this thought just came to mind because I was thinking about those character maps/charts in manga that illustrates how different characters are connected to each other.

When it comes to khux, in a way we can consider Player Vanitas' grandparent, since Vanitas (as we know him in BBS) only came about bc of Xehanort, Player's lovely adopted child. XD
