Reminds me of A Bronx Tale, with the two mentor figures. This is so good. A human, coming of age story. Close to a Must Watch.
Story Ave is a 2023 American drama film directed by Aristotle Torres from a script by Torres and Bonsu Thompson, produced by Torres and Jamie Foxx, and starring Asante Blackk, Luis Guzmán, Melvin Gregg and Alex R. Hibbert. It is based on Torres' 2018 short film of the same name, which in turn was based on a true story.

the way people stan certain characters should be some kind of personality test
#this could literally apply to anyone#torres normies are lower than dust to me and say the same three phrases. if you said something simply different. maybe we can see eye to eye#idk just say something like his sea water pussy instead of the meme phrases i'll give you a fucking high five#also while im at transformers fans suck. i very rarely get the plato and aristotle type discussion posts it;s just cartoon baby fights#about the comics i mean. you better have cartoon baby fights over the cartoon#when someone jokingly said optimus is a villain bc he took the jet pack and never gave it back it's smarter than mtmte relationship analysis

The debut feature of commercial director Aristotle Torres, it’s immersed in street life, a vivid portrait of gangs — “crews” — that spread their name and mark their turf with “bubble letter” art and logos, and occasionally defend it with pistols. It sets up as a “life choices” lecture and relationship…
