It is still amazing the ranking each of these got. I'll be honest, this did not go how I expected, at all.

The only thing I had anticipated was Arcane's Emotional Damage and Maddie/Bullet being in the finales. Never did I expect Sevika to make it to the end, but man am I proud of her and of you all.

This had been a lot of fun for me, I hope it had been a lot of fun for you guys as well. I might do another one of these in the future, I know my friends are already throwing new pairs at me for another polling.

To be honest this citation i feel more like Judas could be Viktor because of how jayce had leave him alone in the lab, almost let him do all the work when jayce was a consoler.

Viktor had always privilege his family, friends, the humanity and the creations, before younger Viktor was still believing in the good of humanity and wanted to helped the world with the hextech and creat a better environment to the people of undercity.

Even ill and his illness get worse he was privileging everyone and his creation and his experience, he was hurting himself for the hextech and keep going until he was into his dead bed.

When jayce come back, that’s was too late, he was already « dead » until the hextech had maintained his body alive but was controlling his actions and mind, the first thing Viktor do was get away and leave alone jayce.

The affection who was holding them together had get lost when jayce had started to being blurred by the council and his new power and responsibility. Jayce had infantilised Viktor when he say he shouldn’t get in the undercity because is dangerous, Viktor had lived here, his family is down, he know what the undercity is but jayce know just what he hear and what the scratch of what he had see.

Viktor was having enough to be on his knees because of his condition and being treated like he can’t accomplish anything alone, for the first time he stand up and when he had, jayce had take it away from him brutally without any words. He had killed, Viktor, his friends, his partner of lab but his best friend had being already long time gone since he had touched and mixed with the hextech.

Season 1:

Caitvi: Liked the dynamic. I just wasn’t into rich girl x poor girl sorta of ships though the fanart was amazing. Their story was clearly a love story and we gotta love them for that.

Jayvik: Shipped it because I liked the partner sorta of ships. Complete equals. Though I was shipping it as sorta one sided on Viktor part because I knew the LOL lore and was expecting a messy divorce. Jayvik nation you understand the worry.

Meljay: Look love my girl Mel but I always felt their relationship was more about narratively showing how Jayce fell into piltover corruption. So I never saw their relationship as actual romance. Mel eventually did but by that point it was too late. (Also my queen Mel doesn’t deserve to deal with disaster Jayce)

Timebomb: Sorry Timebomb shippers literally didn’t know they were a ship until after season 1. Was indifferent to it.

Season 2:

Caitvi: Look we all agree that the pacing and character arcs sorta fumbled them. Love the canon lesbian sex but indifferent to actual shipping. The fanart though is still peak.

Jayvik: quickly became my number 1 ship. How dare they make them actual soulmates and not expect me to ship them. And I’m partial because people finally see how good Jayce is now. Never forget the Jayce hate.

Meljay: Their mutual like breakup was a good choice for their character arc. And I feel they are better off as friends. Mel is too much a girl boss to have Jayce as a partner let’s be real.

Timebomb: Was shocked by the AU scene and was like oh. They actually a thing. I ship them but don’t really look for fanart or fanfics. Though you shippers are hella valid.

So RIOT officially updated Viktor’s bio for league of legends, canonising essentially every bit of his story from the show. As of writing this both Jayce and Blitzcrank’s pages are inaccessible, but Jayce is called Jayce Talis in Viktor’s bio so it’s safe to assume they are changing that to his official name in game. There’s things I like about this approach, with his new story and look, and things I do not, such as erasing the previous relationships completely and making his personal story on his page essentially make no sense now. But alas, watch riot change it a few months anyways lmaoo
