Why? Why do Disney and Filoni keep doing this?

Why do they single out one clone from the rest, give him more focus and screen time—and then, once everyone has fallen in love with him, once he's got fans who didn’t even notice him before... they kill him off.

They did it with Tech in The Bad Batch, and they did it with Fives before that.

Why???
