Did Doc Carver create the Araknits?

They live inside his mansion and they’re made of strings, hooks and needles - all of them objects that Doc owns in abundance. There’s all those spider webs around them, too...

There is a theory floating out there , that Lorelei and Doc carver are responsible for making the Araknits (love the pun) I just love to imagine  the first  monsters were just  stringy cats, except instead of dead things they brought them turnips
