I've been resource gathering for YEARS so now I am going to share my dragons hoard

Floorplanner. Design and furnish a house for you to use for having a consistent background in your comic or anything! Free, you need an account, easy to use, and you can save multiple houses.

Comparing Heights. Input the heights of characters to see what the different is between them. Great for keeping consistency. Free.

Magma. Draw online with friends in real time. Great for practice or hanging out. Free, paid plan available, account preferred.

Smithsonian Open Access. Loads of free images. Free.

SketchDaily. Lots of pose references, massive library, is set on a timer so you can practice quick figure drawing. Free.

SculptGL. A sculpting tool which I am yet to master, but you should be able to make whatever 3d object you like with it. free.

Pexels. Free stock images. And the search engine is actually pretty good at pulling up what you want.

Figurosity. Great pose references, diverse body types, lots of "how to draw" videos directly on the site, the models are 3d and you can rotate the angle, but you can't make custom poses or edit body proportions. Free, account option, paid plans available.

Line of Action. More drawing references, this one also has a focus on expressions, hands/feet, animals, landscapes. Free.

Animal Photo. You pose a 3d skull model and select an animal species, and they give you a bunch of photo references for that animal at that angle. Super handy. Free.

Height Weight Chart. You ever see an OC listed as having a certain weight but then they look Wildly different than the number suggests? Well here's a site to avoid that! It shows real people at different weights and heights to give you a better idea of what these abstract numbers all look like. Free to use.

Some 2012 Raphril watching True Crime together ! Then I drew some Stalker 2012 Donnie w/ Casey and finally some toxic 2012 Casey w/ Donnie (Since I don't think all of the toxic behavior should fall on Donnie-) ! Then I tried to draw a bit of my 2012 Portal AU (As you can see, I didn't get very far- Lmao) ! After that, I did some Adventure Time AU Raphril ! ✨

I was scrolling through tmnt content and was inspired by THIS

I thought it suited their relationship well. I was always iffy about shipping the turtles with April, mainly because of how apriltello was handled in 2012 (It had so much potential, but the writers squandered it by not committing or giving them any character development! T-T That's what AO3 is for ig). But I actually like how it's portrayed in mm, it feels more natural, like an actual crush and not a one-sided obsession.

(I struggle drawing people, so forgive me if April looks weird T-T)

I probably shouldn’t but I FUCKING love comparing different iterations of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. It’s so fun. It’s all technically the same genre but the characters themselves are experienceing different genres.

IDW comics April O’Neil is like “hello I am scientist :) oh no ninjas have stolen the baby turtles :(“ homegirl would join a union for the principle and still work unpaid overtime. When she says she want a normal day, she means a regularly scheduled bank holiday before getting back on the crazy train she bought a ticket for.

2012 April is not here by choice “help I’m being kidnapped” bestie got dragged into the narrative kicking a screaming. When she says she want a normal day she wants her family safe and unmutated and not experiencing massive amounts of trauma.

Rise April bust in like Leroy Jenkins and is here to stay “talk shit get hit” she’s been here since she was 8 and is part of the fam in every way but legal. She’s also got superpowers. When she says she wants a normal day she means an afternoon out with a human friend, which is statistically impossible.

Don hadn’t registered his vice grip on the precious external hard drive until April reached for it and his hands trembled with the effort of prying them loose. As soon as that burden was lifted, all adrenaline plummeted from his head to his toes, staggering him against the nearest wall.

“Whoa, Donnie! You okay?”

Every trace of their personal data was finally extracted from Stockman’s systems; all it took was a near-sleepless week, a heist and half a dozen razor-sharp Mouser bites. Better than okay, Donnie decided even as his bloodied legs buckled.

Characters' handwriting in rise (in episode order)!

"Mystic mayhem". Splinter's handwriting is very unique and cool! Love how angular it is, his "o"s are more like triangles

"Origami Tsunami". It's not shown who wrote these signs (multiple turtles?). We see mikey put the "paper on sale" sign up but we don't see him write it. However, after gathering all the samples of the turtles' handwriting, i couldn't find one of leo's and this sloppiness doesn't quite match donnie's, raph's or mikey's, so i'm inclined to say this is leo's handwriting

"Shell in a Cell". Donnie's signature. Donnie writes in cursive in "origami tsunami" too

"Stuck on you". Raph's consistently shown to write in all caps. Also he wrote this on his right palm. Is raph left handed? But! In "pizza puffs" raph writes with his right hand. Maybe raph's ambidextrous orrrrr the artists just forgot

"Pizza Pit". Mikey's handwriting. His letters are offset. How interesting! Mikey writes in all caps in "bullhop" but a bit neater

"Warren & hypno, sitting in a tree". I LOVE that we can see this evolution of april's handwriting through the years, or at least her signature, from elementary school to highschool. I also love that we see her without her jacket

This list of shown handwriting is far from comprehensive, unfortunately, but handwriting is a great opportunity for characterization that i think's often overlooked. Idk if the crew sat down and chose unique handwriting styles for each character but that'd be cool if they did! I noticed most of the handwriting in rise is all caps across characters
