"Any specific reason you're rootin' through my drawers?" Leo asks, leaning as far back as his chair will let him. His brown eyes shone amber in the light of the cabin.

"Nuh uh" the odd, hunched over creature replied, still crouched down with it's head in the desk.

Leo hummed, nodding as if that clearded everything up. "Any... specific thing you're looking for?"

The thing hummed before poking it's head up to reveal Leo's favourite Apollo kid. "Either some wire, or something shiny?"

Leo nodded again. "That's pretty on brand for you," he said, holding back a chuckle before shifting foreward once more. You couldn't see him, since he was behind the wall, but you heard the familiar rustle.

"Tadaaa!!" He beamed, excitedly rolling his chair back, holding a roll of copper wire up like some priceless tiara. He moved foreward, rolling the chair closer on his feet to hand it to your crouched form. "Anything else mi amor?" He hummed, cupping your jaw to kiss your forehead as he held the spool out to you.

You leaned into his warm, gentle touch. Pressing a kiss to his palm as you think. "Ive got some glass i need to cut and buff. Could i borrow your dremel tool?"

Leo paused, blinking at you a few times.

"What the fuck are you making?!"

"I DON'T QUESTION YOU!"

Leo sighed, running a greasy hand through his already greasy hair. it had been only a day and a half since you left the bunker. Leo had been alone for longer, but after he had grown accustomed to your happy presence bursting through the door, he quite missed you.

You weren't really known for vanishing like he was, but he knew you were working on something. He assumed it was for him, based off how little you told him, but this just... wasn't you. The worry was beginning to eat him alive when-

"LEOLEOLEO!" you called, pushing through the door with your shoulder.

He jumped, but quickly processed your cheery voice. "WHAT WHAT WHAT?!"

It was about 10pm, and you seemed to be fairly hyper. It was cute though, the way you bounced on your heels, beaming at him as you held a vertical box behind your back.

You took a breath, still beaming as you set the box on his desk, "Ok- so i started to feel really really bad that you always make me stuff, but I never make you stuff so-" you gently waved his hand away, now holding the box again to keep him off it. "-so I got thinking and I remembered the iddy biddy lil window in that room in the back and-" "ok baby," Leo stood, chuckling as he put his hands on your shoulder (getting black oil on your favourite hoodie) "Normally, I'd never interrupt your rants, but I think if you don't take a breath, you'll pass out"

He watched you take a deep breath, giggling as you made excessive eye contact, to emphasize how stupid you decided breathing was. Eventually, you gave up on the rant, and handed him the box with a smile.

He opened the box, cocking a faux-skeptical brow, before the gift was revealed.

It was a few scrap beads, red and orange and yellow, dangling below a stick Leo thought was cool. You found it on a walk, and he deemed it cool enough to stay in your cabin. There were a few bits of broken glass you managed to safely sand down and polish, even adding more and more sides to the reflective bits and bobs, he noticed some screws and bolts that had been through some evident scrubbing. He had never gotten a gift like this... with as much care and effort as he always put in.

The sun catcher was amateur, and it certainly wasn't professional, but it was from you. It had his favourite colours, a cool looking stick, and overall, love.

He looked up again, not realizing just how many tears he had in his eyes, "Th- thAnK yoU..." he sniffled, mentally kicking himself for the voice crack.

"Of course mi amor" you mutter softly, nodding as you move closer. You didn't really understand just how hard the nickname hit him. Way to kick him when he was down.

He moved forward to hug you, the hanging wire still dangling from the hand that now clutched at your shirt, shoving his face into the crook of your neck.

Greek Dances

...Another random thought. Just bear with me please. What if the Olympians had certain dance styles that are from our time that were their favorites (in other words, I'm not just saying, they dance. I want specifics)? Here's what I came up with.

Athena - River dancing because her feet can do whatever they want while her hands are free. Now, she can read a book or work on weaving (or stab someone. The options are limitless). I'm just imagining this plus whatever she's holding.

Ares - Paso doble because it's fiery and I can see him pulling off the passion you need to make it look convincing. Besides, he can do it with Aphrodite and she's the only one who gets him to like dancing anyway. This would be the two of them.

Aphrodite - Tango because it's spicy. She does this with Ares any and every chance she gets. Doesn't even matter if they've got other stuff going on. I can see it playing out exactly like this video, including the people watching being the Olympians.

Hermes - Quick step because...well, it's quick. Still actually not quick enough for him, but he'd fly through it. If you put this at 2x speed, this is what I had in mind.

Artemis - Hip-hop has a rough enough edge that I can see it working for her. She could be outside, hunting and then just randomly start doing this when the thud of the animals hitting the ground makes a nice beat.

Apollo -Modern/lyrical/contemporary dance (or whatever this is) because it seems very athletic, artsy, and also very dramatic. Apollo, the athletic, artsy, drama queen is how I see him.

Hestia - Ballet because it's very proper and elegant. She's so pure that she could be the perfect ballerina. It's probably the only time she isn't working with the hearth too. This would be her.

Demeter - Contemporary because I feel like this one is so expressive and she'd really need it to get out her frustration (let's be real. Her "life" pretty much has sucked since forever). Let her have some emotional release in the form of this (extra points if Persephone is the one with her)

Zeus - Jazz because it's a combination of grace and athleticism...actually, because he can either do jazz alone or with a partner and it's got just enough flair that his ego will be inflated. He might have regular one-man shows like this. He does jazz hands way too much.

Poseidon - Hivinau mostly because it's from an island (Tahiti to be precise. I'll be including it in a book next year!) and I see him always being on the beaches. So, he can do this with some people and nymphs.

Hades - Tap because he can seem really subdued at first and mild-mannered as he gets in these clean taps, then just shock his family by being amazing out of the blue. So, this would be him.

Hera - Waltz, particularly something like a traditional waltz since it supposedly can't be danced without a partner. Just seems to fit with her. She can pretend that she has her happy marriage while doing this.

Dionysus - Sorta tap, but specifically the kind that Ray Bolger and Dick Van Dyke sometimes did where it looked like they were out of it. This is what he'd be doing after a few too many drinks.

Hephaestus - Macarena because one of his siblings taught it to him and now he loves it (but he WILL deny it with his very being if questioned.) Sometimes, after a long day of crafting, he can be caught listening to music and doing this.

Similarities of Zuko and Apollo:

• (Kind of) Sixteen year-olds who started off as bad/troubled people who redeem themselves and become better people in the end of their respective stories

• Connected to the sun - Zuko is a firebender and Apollo is the literal god of the sun

• Both's aliases begin with the letter L (Li for Zuko and Lester for Apollo)

• Both have shitty abusive dads that are/were monarchs and shot lightning at them at some point

• Have pseudo-little sisters related to the colour green (Zuko and Toph's relationship is a sibling one and you can't tell me otherwise and Meg and Apollo are obvious)

• Both of their stories end with them gaining high positions of power - Zuko as Firelord and Apollo as a god.

• Both of them have biological full sisters who could easily beat them in a fight and had some kind of girl group - Azula with her powerful firebending and squad of Mai and Ty Lee and Artemis, who we all know would beat Apollo, and her Hunters

I have no idea why I'm posting this but it just seemed fun to post. Anyway the main differences between them is Apollo is horribly pathetic whilst Zuko actually gets shit done(he is very dedicated to his cause). Also they look entirely different, have different names, Apollo is also related to lots of artsy stuff while Zuko is only related to theatre in terms of artsy stuff. Also Apollo is a literal god while Zukos human but that's not really important.

what demigods from each cabin would get along together you think? Like I headcanon that the Hephaestus and Hecate kids get along because they’re always thinking up new things like be it spells or machinery. But I wanna hear your take on compatibility between godly parents? 😀

oh i LOVE the idea of Hecate and Hephaestus kids getting up to mischief. I've thought about this a bit so I'll go through the ones I have strong dynamic ideas off the top of my head, sticking mostly to CHB's main 20 cabins and then a couple of bonuses. Also some bonus "who hates each other." (Under cut for length)

Ever since TLO the Apollo and Ares cabins have had an alliance. Mostly built out of the Ares kids feeling really guilty about arriving late to war and nearly all the Apollo kids dying in the Battle of Manhattan, wondering if there would have been fewer casualties between both cabins if they had gotten over their stubborn pride faster like the Apollo kids had. Ares kids kind of guard the Apollo kids and tolerate them more than other cabins, and the Apollo kids are considered off-limits for bullying.

Hephaestus, Ares, and Aphrodite kids have a very bizarre dynamic, besides the whole canonical love triangle curse nonsense they have going on. They tend to be drawn to each other one way or another. Very common to see them together. The question is just are they besties or are they trying to kill each other.

Big 3 kids either have immense solidarity or totally loathe each other and there's no in-between. Sometimes it's both.

Demeter and Hades kids have a very tenuous alliance. They're a little scared of each other. They would fight to the death over who gets to adopt a Persephone kid as a sibling though.

Besides Hades, Demeter kids either get along great or horribly with Big 3 kids. Again, no in-between, or sometimes both.

Zeus kids and Athena kids tend to get along like a house on fire. Insert School of Athens fresco here. They are Thinking Thoughts and will have the most passionate debates about the wildest topics you have ever heard.

Cabins 5 and 6 have a very strong ongoing rivalry. If it's a friendly rivalry or true rivalry shifts depending on counselors. They LOOOOVE competing with each other though, and have some amount of unwavering respect for each other as the war cabins. Post-TLO the Nike cabin starts getting in on that dynamic too and Cabins 5 and 6 are very excited for some new challenges.

Tyche and Nemesis cabins tend to be buddies

Apollo, Athena, Dionysus, and Iris cabins love being artsy together. 100% lead a lot of the art activities at camp.

Similarly, Athena, Apollo, Hephaestus, Hermes, and Hecate cabins love being nerdy together.

Chthonic solidarity! Hermes, Hades, Hypnos, Hecate, etc. Usually the other chthonic cabins are the only ones brave enough to poke fun at the Hades kids.

Mad scientist gang Athena, Hephaestus, Hecate. Sometimes the Apollo kids join in to help give them ideas and enable them.

Athena, Hecate, Apollo, and Hades meanwhile are Mad Scientist: Biology Edition™. They're dissecting weird stuff and will figure out how to make Frankenstein's monster.

Also, Athena, Apollo, Hebe - medical cabins gang. Vision/eye health, general health, and general health + youthfulness.

Demeter and Dionysus gardening buddies!!!!!! Sometimes they let the Apollo and Iris kids hang out too. Zeus and Poseidon kids are a strong "maybe."

Apollo and Hebe cabins get along super well, also with Zeus cabin. They're totally vibing being all youthful and beautiful together. Sometimes Aphrodite cabin also join them. Pretty cabins gangs.

Apollo, Iris, and Zeus cabins (and Hera cabin if there are actually any kids there for that. hi Jason) - sky deities buddies!

Dionysus cabin has a bizarre comradery with the Hades cabin nobody can figure out but everyone is mildly afraid of (it's Zagreus stuff).

Iris and Hermes kids get along super well. Iris cabin also probably loves hanging out with the Aphrodite and Apollo kids. They're talking about art and color theory.

Bonuses: Philotes + Aphrodite + Erotes kids obviously all get along fantastically. Psyche kids and Aphrodite kids either get along well or clash horribly.

Hebe and Ganymede kids are shaking hands. Cupbearer parents (who are also both youthful and pretty).

Iris and Arke kids are very one-in-the-same except the Arke kids all have So Many Problems. Iris kids tend to be "excuse me they asked for no pickles" on the Arke kids' behalf often.

Thetis kids and Arke kids have beef and it's kind of funny (cause Thetis got Arke's wings as a wedding gift after they were stolen from Arke as punishment for siding with the Titans).

Enyo/Bellona and Ares/Mars kids LOOOOVE each other. Immediate best friends. Same hat, spiderman pointing meme, etc etc. Absolutely built for each other. They just click. And also tend to enable each other a little bit. Do not let the Nike kids around both of them at the same time because they will all begin to enable each other in a feedback loop and get up to mayhem.

Okay for Simon romancing people in Stardew Valley, we gotta evaluate the potential relationship with each of the characters, so, starting with the Bachelors!!

Alex: gives young person vibes, similar to how Sam does, but more then that i just don't think he's Simon's type. Cocky Jock with Gridball on the brain, eh. I don't know they'd have anything to talk about, really.

Elliott: Aesthetically quite nice, though I don't know if I picture Simon as being very appearance focused in partnerships. Very Artsy. Could work, though I think Simon would be pretty neutral towards him initially.

Harvey: Huge Bonus is that he does not appear as young as some of the other Bachelors. I'm also biased, as He and Sam are the only two I've gotten to marriage to personally. (and quite liked both of them) That said...I don't think he has enough Confidence for Simon. He's dedicated to being a doctor, sure, but he's also nervous, with huge amounts of anxiety at times. He talks constantly about the health and safety of the town, but when other topics do come up, particularly in dating, he's easily flustered. As cute as i find him (and his mustache) I don't think Simon would be interested.

Sam: Reads as too young. everything's still about skateboards and music. Not too young for romance, mind, I romanced him, but too young for Simon. does have golden retriever energy though, which is nice, and really loves his younger brother, also a plus. and he does grow a little once married, But I think it would feel weird. Better match for someone Athena or Apollo's age.

Sebastian: Now here's where we get into the fun stuff!! I think Sebastian would NOT like Simon, who in turn would be....very neutral towards the young man, and completely unaware of the one sided rivalry brewing. See, a lot of the problems Sebastian faces are concerns about not being able to establish himself. He's living in his Mom's basement, with his Step Father he dosn't get along well with, and half-sister who he sees as being favored over him. He also feels no one takes his job seriously, (example, in his two heart event we learn Abigail plans to come visit regardless of him working) but one thing he IS is the town's resident Goth, even more so then Abby. So, imagine, just imagine, how frustrating it would be for him when Simon rolls up, Grumpy and Standoffish, Shock of black hair, dressed all in black, hawk perched on his shoulder, already having his own space with a job everyone recognizes and not having to answer to anyone. If we wanted to count who's edgier, Simon's even been to prison. Heck, in this world he might even have prison tats, anything could happen. And Simon? not the least bit concerned about this, or even aware.

Shane: On the one hand, no one should romance Shane. Shane needs a friend, absolutely, but he also needs therapy, and is not ready to commit to marriage. I might feel differently about this if he wasn't returning to drinking after tying the knot, or reacted to you giving him Beer after quitting. On the other hand, they're both deeply troubled, and I absolutely pair deeply troubled fictional characters, both romantically and platonically. (Bobby Lives! Blackbright whomst, on both counts) They could be deeply troubled.....together..........

And that's the Bachelors! Next up, Bachelorettes..... Abigail: One of her Big character conflicts is growing pains and tension with her Dad. Too young for Simon.

Emily: Too new age-y. I do think they could be friends, though. She'd gift him crystals to "help him absorb negative energy" and he'd get caught in anything she's hung from the ceiling, like dream catchers or beaded curtains. She would be brightly optimistic even as he grouses about life, though wouldn't always appreciate his sarcastic ways.

Haley: Okay hear me out, same energy as Blackmahdi, or NyQuill as I prefer to call it. Sure, it's missing the Ying-Yang color scheme, but consistently arguing? taking pot-shots at each other? both being complex characters with real human motivations underneath their cruel exterior? yeah. It could work. Emily wouldn't be thrilled that that's how they talk to each other though.

Leah: Don't have a reason for it other then I just don't see it. Like, sure, it could happen, but I just don't think it would, you know?

Maru: Simon would be immediately put off by her dad, like that's a big no. Also, she reads fairly young, being at least younger then Seb. also, while he may be reasonably fond of her as a person, (or maybe not, i dunno) I think growing up with Aura may have killed any interest in inventors in general.

Penny: Okay, I know I said Harvey was too timid for Simon, and Penny doesn't exactly exude confidence, but it's not the same. She's a lover of children, who's actively trying to teach the only two children in town. She's aggressively helpful, and trapped in rough circumstances. Also, he could sweep her up in his arms and hold her close and she could gently help him through his anxiety attacks and no I'm not projecting-

Lastly, It's not Romance, but Platonic,

Krobus: No notes. Sweet little guy. Perfection. Simon would share his house with him, as would anyone.

•Caesar Flickerman as Dionysus. Representing the festivities and the almost flamboyance of the Capitol/hunger games culture. Dionysus is the god of festivities, and yes wine. When I think of Dionysus, I think of ecstasy, or ritualistic festivities and almost madness even. Chaotic inebriation. Also I may or may not be suggesting this since Stanley Tucci has literally portrayed Dionysus on screen before.

•Haymitch as Hades. As much as I love explorations of alcohol x Haymitch (im joking), I think death as a motif is more potent in Haymitch’s character. He lost his family, constantly loses his district’s tributes; he is canonically described as someone who isolates himself. Death plagues him. He also has, even if very marginally, a role in preventing death/extending life. He has to choose whether to put his efforts to Katniss or Peeta. Death is both out of his control and yet within his ability to try and manipulate.

•^Alternatively, Snow as Hades. He canonically has the most blood on his hands and orchestrates the system that perpetuates constant death. Other similarities include position of power/status. It suits his vibe.

Zeus not only has the highest position in the mythology (there’s nuance to this I know!), but he also can be malicious and spiteful. Zeus has done so many batshit insane things LMFAO. Arguably Snow fits Zeus more than Hades, imo. I think the resemblance and similarities can be quite strong.

•Finnick as Eros. This is the Capitol perspective of him. But he is also the god of love, and that would fall in line with his connection to Annie.

•Peeta as Prometheus. This one MIGHT seem like a bit of a stretch but my arguments are as follows. Prometheus would represent rebelliousness in this case, as is shown in the story of how he gave humans fire. Prometheus is a trickster; Peeta is notoriously considered a manipulator and can play an audience. The biggest reason I’m connecting the two is because of the story of how Prometheus “molded humanity out of clay.” Peeta is an artist, both in the bakery and with his paintings; again, it might be a stretch, but I see the resemblance in that myth.

As mentioned, Prometheus gave humanity fire, and was then punished for it by Zeus. Peeta was, as we all know, tortured and punished for his actions (yes the narrative implies this was done as a punishment to Katniss, but it still very much is Peeta’s punishment first). Plus, despite Katniss being ‘the girl on fire,’ Peeta also played a role in sparking the events of THG.

I’d even say Prometheus being the god of fire and the myth of him giving humanity (Panem) fire (Katniss) is an even stronger resemblance to Peeta.

@glam-apollo​ That is a great question. i think this distinction would exist regardless of economic system, it’s just inherent to how we create works of fiction - BUT

there are two things that affect both the entertainers and the artists (including people who are both) in a profit-driven economy:

1) society puts a lot of value on things that generate money. notice how when someone shares a new hobby with someone, they are immediately asked if they will monetize it. the more money something makes, the more people pay attention to it. sales even come into merit-based literary awards, as some have cutoffs of copies sold to be eligible to even be nominated. if someone only writes fanfiction or posts their writing for free on their personal blog, it is not considered as legitimate, even if it gets a lot of attention. and because entertainment-focused works tend to sell much better, i think this leads to people prioritizing their entertaining works over more artsy stuff. more sales, more legitimacy, more incentive to make it

2) for most people, making money off of their works is the only way to have enough time to make them, apart from being independently wealthy or being fully supported by their family or spouse. i imagine that a lot of artists and even a lot of entertainers would rather not put any price tag on their works, because of how it affects them. but if you don’t sell your art, you have to work another job, which likely leaves one with little to no time to create. i’m not saying nobody enjoys getting paid for their work (especially because getting paid assures you that people find value in your creations) but it isn’t a perfect system. i do not know if a book will be entirely forgettable or change my entire life until i read it, but i have to buy it first at the same price as any other book. and i don’t mind paying for books i will never finish, but i do feel like the 5$ i spent on an ebook of “Life After Life” or “Less” doesn’t quite capture the impact these books had on me

i think in a world where one could sustain themselves off of a 4 day, 20 hour workweek, way more people would create art AND way less of them would monetize it. or rather, i think they would not prioritize works that sell better over works that are more fulfilling to them. writing entertaining books is still a very creative outlet and can bring someone immense joy, but they would probably enjoy it even more if they didn’t need to e.g. churn out a book every three months or pick among their ideas based on what is selling well right now. and people who lean more towards artsy things would for sure prioritize their art more as it doesn’t sell much anyway

so yeah, i think these categories are pretty universal but also overlapping and fuzzy and not mutually exclusive. and the thing that is screwing all of us over is the requirement to generate profit. is a book that entertains a thousand people really worse than a book that deeply impacts and speaks to a hundred people? not at all, but profit-focused systems say yes, because the first one sold more copies. and that’s what i have an issue with

don't know how to formulate this exactly but I think every book exists somewhere on two spectrums in regards to the intent with which it was written - art and entertainment

art, i think, is inherently an expression of self, a way to communicate something, reach out to other people and let them into your soul a little bit; it exists in the act of creation and it does not technically need to be enjoyed or even seen by anyone to be art

entertainment happens more in the mind of the reader/viewer/experiencer of a work and though it is still very subjective, it tends to be more universal than art - as in, a piece of entertainment typically appeals to more people than a piece of art that has to resonate with you

these two can very much co-exist in a high level but good entertainment is not necessarily good art, and vice verse

i think one of the most crucial things you can do as a writer or creator of any sort is decide whether it's more important to you to make good art or good entertainment. art requires much more vulnerability and is usually much less mass appealling. entertainment requires a constant dialogue with your audience and ability to sometimes prioritise feedback over your own vision. art-centric and entertainment-centric books also have pretty different marketing, career paths, and goals

i did not realize this when i started querying but i view my books as art first, entertainment second, and this created a huge disconnect because agents don't look at books as art, they look at books as products for entertainment - unless you are submitting something 100% literary. this is not to say that if your book is not doing well in querying and sales that it's bad entertainment, there's much more factors (e.g. luck being the biggest) involved here, but this is something to keep in mind

if you write as an art, popularity shouldn't be the point. and this is something I'll probably keep trying to internalise for years and years

Who is Apollo?🥖 Apollon, better known as Apollo is best known as the god of the sun and poetry. He's also the god of music, art, agriculture, plague, prophecy, and medicine. He is a very popular god and appears in a lot of literature, games, and artworks. He's featured in literature like Song of Achilles and Percy Jackson. He's in Hades Game as well. Why would you work with or worship Apollo? 🥖 Apollo is often referenced as a protector of sorts. He's associated with medicine and healing, as well as divination. He is known as the god of oracle and prophecy. He's also known as a protector of the youth. So, it's to be assumed if you're looking for someone to reach out to and you work with both protection, divination, or medicine he's your guy. How do you reach out to Apollo? 🥖 So the most obvious option is prayer! It's simple and free. Meditating outside in the sun could easily be another way to try to reach the sun god. The main thing with meditation is listening and observing without judgment. Divination is also an obvious choice. I mean, he is the god of prophecy and the oracle. I personally due tarot, but there are plenty of divination practices. Everything from reading tea leaves to scrying could work. Then, of course, you have making offerings and lighting candle to reach out to him (this is what I usually do when reaching out to a new diety). What should you offer? 🥖 This of course depends on your altar size, so I'll assume you have an open and larger altar. Apollo typically likes cheeses, fruits, wine, golden things, yellow/white/gold candles, olive oil, milk, tea, honey/honey cakes, musical instruments (especially if they're a string instrument), lamb or goat meat, bread or wheat, laurel or olive branches, olives, orange or lemon pastries, images of dolphins, wolves, the sun, himself, and/or any birds (especially crows, ravens, and swans) (especially if hand painted), poetry, paints, paintbrushes, and things like that. As well as frakencense or myyrh scents. Think warm, sunshine, artsy stuff. I'm sure he also wouldn't mind things like tarot cards but you should ask him yourself before you offer it. What if you have a small/hidden altar? 🥖 Don't worry there's plenty you can offer him on a small/hidden altar! You can give him chocolates with orange or lemon flavors, sunflowers, bandaids, aloe vera, concert tickets, music or poetry you've written, art you've drawn, amber or sunstone (any stone your associate with him really), golden jewelry (especially if it has sun or arrow imagery on it), LGBTQ+ flags (he's liked them in the past), divination items (tarot, pendulums, etc), and/or bird feathers. You can always put the things from a small or hidden altar on a larger altar as well. What are some of your headcanons/characterizations for the other titans in your CronusXRhea story?

the stuff under the cut, i have to stress, is all from my comic, and i know a lot of it isn’t supported by actual myth, but that’s where the creative license comes in i guess!

EDIT: i had some new thoughts about these titans and i decided to give them a little more shape,, but i didn’t want to delete my original thoughts, so my old ideas are striked-through (struck-through?) and my new ideas are just normal.

the order of the characters** here is major characters to minor:

CRONUS | titan of time. has the ability to freeze time, and make it reverse, but not to go forward because technically speaking, there is no one “future”- different decisions result in different scenarios happening, so Cronus can’t really control that. personality wise- he’s smart, loyal, determined, but he’s also willing to bend the rules, believes in the philosophy “no such thing as cheating”, paranoid, and a little insane.

RHEA | mother of the Olympians. doesn’t have any particular powers. she has the ability to heal minor wounds, and she's good at fighting- with a weapon and without. she’s ambitious, witty, kind, and passionate. she doesn’t hesitate to step into the role of a leader, and is prepared to take great risks if she believes the cause is just. Rhea's also a bit of trickster- she has an awful sense of humour which is why she gets along with Cronus and Iapetus so well. she enjoys pranks.

OURANOS | father of the titans, god of the Heavens. he’s created by Gaia after she desires someone to be her equal and unconsciously brings Ouranos to life. as a consequence of being Gaia’s “equal”, although he’s not a primordial himself, he has power on par with them. personality wise- he’s arrogant, cocky, condescending, possessive, powerful, cruel and scary. he has pretty much no redeemable qualities. he hates his children and gets rid of the Cyclopes and the Hundred-Handers because he believes that they could potentially pose a threat to his relationship with Gaia; he is extremely jealous of Gaia’s love for her children, and his need for her to only show him attention is his primary motive.

GAIA | mother of the titans and other “monsters”. Gaia has a somewhat ambiguous personality. she values her children above all, and doesn’t hesitate to kill Ouranos after he throws her beloved children, the Cyclopes and the Hundred-Handers into Tartarus where she cannot reach them. she is neither good nor evil, she is simply motivated by her maternal nature. she has no favourites amongst the titans, but is pleased when Cronus takes on the challenge of deposing Ouranos. however, she later is more than willing to help Rhea then depose of Cronus because she doesn’t care for arrogance, and, once again, hates Cronus for when he repeats Ouranos’ mistake and imprisons the Cyclopes and the Hundred-Handers.

COEUS | titan of magic and witchcraft (in my AU that is!!). his wife is Phoebe, and for the events of the story, they have only one child born- Asteria. Rhea seeks Coeus’ help when she requires a potion to make Cronus’ vomit back out her children, and to also strip him of his powers. Cronus also seeks Coeus’ help in creating a potion to amplify his powers, and though Coeus is reluctant to help, he is forced to after Cronus threatens to have an “accident” befall his family. personality wise- Coeus is rather timid, he prefers to sit on the sidelines and warns Rhea that her plan to depose of Cronus may result in Cronus himself killing her. he is kind and well-natured, and though sometimes he has moments of self-doubt, even after Cronus threatens him and his daughter, he doesn’t rat Rhea out to Cronus and tell him about the potion he made for her, so there’s that.

MNEMOSYNE | titan of memory. her main role is in the Castration of Ouranos arc. when Cronus activates his time powers for the first time and reverses time back to when Gaia first gathered the titans together, Mnemosyne is the only one who remembers that all these events have actually happened before. personality wise- she’s generally pretty chill. she’s kind and generous, and also rather talented when it comes down to the arts, and this is something that is reflected in her children, the Muses.

OCEANUS | titan of the oceans. Oceanus is the eldest of all the titans, and perhaps, the wisest. his power is to communicate and control sea-life. when Gaia gathers her children and tells them about her plan to depose Ouranos, Oceanus is reluctant to take action because he knows how powerful their father is, and he knows the risk is great. Cronus calls him a coward for this, but Oceanus is undeterred. although he does help his siblings fight Ouranos, he is always cautious of the consequences of failure. he takes Rhea’s side against Cronus. personality wise- Oceanus is level-headed, wise, and stoic, but he doesn’t like taking risks.

TETHYS | titan of the oceans and rivers. Tethys is the wife of Oceanus, and her ability is to control the rivers and the seas. she, like Oceanus, is cautious about taking down Ouranos. she supports Oceanus when he advises against Gaia’s plan, but also joins him when he agrees to fight with Cronus. Tethys takes Rhea’s side against Oceanus. personality wise- she is noble, and righteous, and hates arrogance above all else. 

IAPETUS | Iapetus is perhaps the only other titan to rival Cronus in terms of cunning. he takes Cronus’ side throughout the whole story because he believes that he plays to the winning side. Iapetus isn’t exactly selfish, but he does seek to protect his own hide first. he takes Cronus' side during the Titanomachy because he believes in Cronus- Cronus is the one who liberated the Titans from Ouranos, and that means a lot to Iapetus. although Iapetus is older, he's always looked up to Cronus, and they've always been thick as thieves. Iapetus is Cronus' right-hand man and the trust that they place in each other goes both ways. when Cronus reveals to Iapetus what really happened to his and Rhea's children, Iapetus' admiration for Cronus is so strong that he's not even horrified by Cronus' atrocities- rather, he proclaims that his loyalty is even more steadfast than before. there is no stage where Iapetus doubts/betrays Cronus. personality wise- he enjoys playing games and tricks, and he is one of the chief architects of the plan to castrate Ouranos.

HYPERION | titan of light. he is married to Theia, and doesn’t really have a significant role in the story. he doesn't really "choose" a side during the Titanomachy, but the magic of Crius forces him to take Cronus' side. fortunately for him, he escapes punishment in Tartarus when his children (Helios, Selene, and Eos) beg Zeus to have mercy (which he grants). personality wise- he’s generally a fun guy, never gloomy and always positive. he's a little narcissistic though, and he loves flattery.

THEIA | titan of brightness and sight. she’s married to Hyperion, and is the eldest of Gaia’s daughters. her only real role is when a young Cronus jokingly says that he’ll make Theia his queen to irritate Rhea. personality wise- she’s kind and loving, though more quiet and timid than her other sisters.

PHOEBE | wife of Coeus and mother of Asteria (and Leto but Leto isn’t born yet in the story). again, she doesn’t really have a role, but personality wise- she’d be very artsy, and generally chill. she has some degree of prophetical powers, and Zeus makes her an oracle during his reign until Apollo is born (and then Apollo takes on that role).

CRIUS | titan of the constellations. IRL, Crius doesn’t really have much of a mythology- there’s no role listed, just that his wife was another goddess named Eurybia and he had a few kids, and then was chucked into Tartarus. so, he also doesn’t have much of a role in my story either, but he also takes Cronus’ side, and ends up in Tartarus with Iapetus because of it. idk why, but i imagine his personality being similar to Oceanus’, and so, Crius helps Cronus because he thinks that Cronus is in the right, and takes second place in terms of loyalty to Cronus (Iapetus being number one). Crius is one of the most intelligent from the Titans, and he's pretty crafty, though he isn't evil. Crius serves Cronus for similar reasons to Iapetus.

EURYBIA | goddess of mastery over the seas. her main role is as Crius' wife, but I wanted her to take Cronus' side not because she particularly believes in Cronus' cause, but because Crius fights on his side- so it's more of a question of allegiance to family rather than allegiance to authority. Eurybia's siding with Cronus causes lots of heartbreak within Crius' family :/// but i just didn't like the idea of having every wife in the story being sidelined and not fighting. on her wikipedia page, Eurybia is described as having "a heart of flint within her", so i imagine her to be very headstrong and powerful, and i just can't imagine that she sits in silence while her husband goes fighting. personality wise- she's very friendly, confident and bold, where Crius is a little more aloof.

THEMIS | titan of justice. again, pretty much no role in the story. she takes Rhea’s side of course (since she’s on the side of justice), and with Rhea, is one of the first to agree with Cronus’ plan to get rid of Ouranos, and she’s enthusiastic about it as well. personality wise- she’s similar to Rhea- she’s headstrong, loyal, and outspoken.

Star Wars x Percy Jackson

Okay so this was a LOT harder then I thought it was going to be on the account that literally everyone in the GFFA is related to one another. So for the sake of my sanity (and yours) let’s just assume that no one is related so I can figure out what kriffing Olympian attributed to them (also we are keeping them all Greek to save me that headache)

Also to keep my sanity I split everyone up by Trilogy/TV Show so just assume each each are a new generation (with some overlapping)--

Also I’m not doing everyone because there is way too many kriffing characters so get ready for highlights and personal favorites. If you have anyone to add, comment or feel free to add! (Last “also”, promise! I stuck mostly with the big twelve to, you guessed it, preserve my sanity!)

Prequels:

Yoda is from Dionysus cabin--FIGHT ME ON THIS. I could not figure out why he talks like he does and came to the conclusion is he is definitely “drunk” on Kool-Aid. Also I like the idea of him growing vines and plants because of Dagoba. He is a camp councilor that’s been around for longer than anyone can remember by Chiron likes him well enough.

Mace is a child of Hades. ... I honestly don’t know why, but as soon as that image popped into my head I accepted it. Maybe it’s because of his stoic personality or maybe the fact he fights in a very angry style, to which I say, “skeletons ripping up from the earth”.

Qui-Gon-- for some bizarre reason the idea of Hypnos popped into my head and I now I cannot get it to leave me alone. So Qui is from Hypnos cabin. He gets a lot of sleep and even more visions of the future (such as a very powerful half-blood coming to camp and he’s now determined to find that kid)

Obi-Wan was tricky. I debated between a lot of cabins and none of them seemed to work for him. I finally settled on Hephaestus, which seems weird but let me explain. Obi-Wan feels like someone who would totally be into arts and crafts, if he could have. Hephaestus cabin usually has a good head and are quite smart

Anakin is from Zeus Cabin. Did you expect anything less? This kid is Mr. Lightning summoning, sword wielding, insane power with way too many emotions. (It was either that or Hephaestus but... “Chosen One” and all that)

Padme is 100% from Athena cabin. That’s it. Fight me.

Palpatine is a weird one because I’d usually just make him a monster or something like a Titan but... eh. I’m going Hermes because this boy knows how to lie and trick people (a lot like Luke, now that I think about it...). A friend of mine also suggested the child of Nemesis, the goddess of Revenge which could also work so pick your pick.

R2-D2 and C-3PO are satyrs. Very annoying, very loud, satyrs. 3PO goes on and on about the importance of nature and R2 follows behind him creating his own form of chaos. Most people avoid them.

Clone Wars:

Ahsoka is also from Athena cabin. I just like to picture her fighting with two knives and flipping around like a gymnast. But she’s more chill then Ares cabin--although she does love hanging out with those boys. She’s unofficially adopted by Ares cabin as a sister in arms so that’s cool.

Ares Cabin just consists of all the clones, okay? It was either that or Hermes but I just couldn’t imagine my boys without their military structure. Cody’s head of the cabin and has to try and keep all of his siblings in line-- very poorly, but he’s doing his best.

Satine is in Demeter Cabin. I wasn’t sure where else to put a pacifist but I thought it suited her well enough. Ex-girlfriend of Obi-Wan but they are on friendly terms (and there is a running bet on when they will get back together)

Rebels:

Kanan was really hard to figure out. I decided to make him Poseidon’s kid because he’s usually really chill in the show. For the most part, he’s really laid back and doesn’t use any water abilities unless he has too. Prefers to fight with a sword, but can use a crossbow surprising well. Has a street kid background so he gets along with the Hermes cabin really well and has kind of “adopted” one of the kids there (three guesses as to who)

Hera has to fly, okay? She has to be able to fly either a Pegasus or actually fly which leaves either Zeus, Apollo, or Poseidon as the main picks, which I don’t think any of those scream Hera. In fact, flip them, she’s a mortal that see’s through the Mist. She somehow got dragged into this world of monsters and demi-gods and is now chilling at the camp just for the heck of it. It may or may not have had something to do with her now-Boyfriend Kanan who may or may not have been on a quest at the time when he accidently destroyed her apartment because of a stupid hellhound.

Ezra is in Hermes cabin. This tiny little thief is wonderful and is a cute little blueberry. Kanan kind of unofficially adopted the kid so Ezra is usually drenched from swimming in the lake.

Zeb is from Athena cabin. Very skilled with a staff and very into battle meditation. Not super into the “intelligent” side of Athena, but he is in no way an idiot. Get’s into a lot of trouble with Ezra because why not?

Sabine I could totally see being the child of Apollo, but she joined Artemis Huntresses (maybe out of spite to her Dad but also because a bunch of warrior women? Heck, yeah!). Very artsy, excellent shot with a bow, and is much, much cooler then her dad.

Chopper is a very lazy, very stubborn Hellhound, fight me on this (and may have been the Hellhound Kana was fighting when he met Hera, but he’s now attached to this strange mortal woman who literally told off these two for destroying her house).

Luke was almost a child of the big three (specifically Hades for some bizarre reason--don’t ask me why, I don’t know how my brain got on that) but then I remembered that Hecate was a thing soooooo... Luke Skywalker, the son of Hecate, goddess of magic. He manipulates the mist and stuff like that. Also likes to fly Pegasi.   

Leia... okay, this is going to sound really weird but I kind of see Leia as a child of Aphrodite. Not obsessed with how she looks and all that stuff, but more like Piper. Very strong willed, determined, and keeps your attention. She fights for what she believes in (loves) and can kick butt. It was either that or Athena but... eh, let’s turn that on it’s side, shall we?

Han is Hermes. What did you expect?

Chewbacca is a satyr. I don’t know if you expected any differently, but I’m picturing Coach Hedge just not... insane. Very much likes to fight monsters and is very protective of Han.

Lando is... tricky. I’m going to go with Dionysus simply because of the party factor, but don’t cross him. He can mess you up.

Sequels:

Rey is unclaimed. She chills in Hermes cabin and has no idea who her Godly parent is... which she mopes about a lot. ((I literally could not figure out who’s daughter she would be because that’s kind of the whole Trilogy. And then it hit me like an out of control Pegasus.))

Poe is from Apollo cabin and can usually be found on a Pegasus. His favorite is nicknamed BB and is white with “orange” spots. Very good at flying and shooting a bow at the same time. Yes, he’s a show off and yes, he’s very good in a fight.

Finn is in Ares cabin. But he’s more like Frank in the sense of he’s definitely nicer then most of his cabinmates. Excellent fighter but does not have that stupid Ares temper... most days (don’t cross Finn or he will mess you up)

Rose gets to be a child of Hephaestus. She’s smart and is an engineer, simple as that.

Kylo/Ben is in Aphrodite cabin simply because I want him there. He’s prissy, full of himself, and a jerk and if that isn’t Aphrodite, I don’t know what is (I’m sorry, I just hated Aphrodite in the books and Kylo was kind of a “meh” character soooooooooo...)
