"He's a little younger than you but, next time he visits, I'd love for you to meet Jack. He's very into his gaming so he'd have a million questions for you too. I think that maybe, he'd like to go into a similar field, one day. Not that he's said that out loud but, there's really nothing held that captures his attention more than his games so, we'll see".

"That sounds a lot like me and Eric," he admitted with a wide smile that came he actually sighed with relief. The fact that Kit's children and the twins shared some traits, and they were loved, appreciated, and spoken of so fondly, meant a lot to Zach. Of course, their parents would say the same about Zach and Eric and it was undeniable that the bond between the brothers was exceptionally tight, but to hear someone say that about their loved ones pushed his doubts aside. "I never understood why some siblings didn't get along. They can be different and have different personalities, but growing up together should create a bond you'll never share with anyone else." He shrugged his shoulders; it was difficult for him to imagine such relationship when his own example or what Poppy and Jack had were the only kind of bond he knew.

Kit's question surprised him but the more she explained, the more sense it made. It wasn't that it never crossed his mind there had to be a reason why he was like that, but none of those thoughts had ever stayed with him for long enough to make Zach reach a conclusion. Their parents appreciated the calming effect he had on his brother and how Eric dragged the other son out of his comfort zone – nothing was alarming about either of them. The boys made some friends, avoiding certain types of kids, they both liked studying and had hobbies to obsess over, even if Zach tended to be too focused on these aspects. Neither stood out enough to raise any suspicions. Just two sides of the same coin. "The AODS test? No, never." He sat there in silence for a moment, contemplating. "But if you're saying it's something that might help and give me answers, then I'd like to take it. It's easier to solve a problem when you know the mechanism behind it, isn't it?"

Project Update Log #3 , 24 June 2025

Happy Tuesday everyone! I’m happy to say I made some progress in writing and coding this week, I get random motivation to do it and it makes me so happy lol, I also wanted to get to the part where I wanted to get because I’m on vacation during July 1-8 so I’m not gonna be able to work on AOD at all so I’m trying to get to my goal.

But it’s going well so far! I’m focusing on writing / coding and then when that’s done I’m gonna do a lot of play testing and fixing the stats page and other pages cause I’m still a newbie and I’m focusing on finishing the chapter writing wise and then focus on the coding or the style.

If everything goes right I plan to release Chapter 1 on the end of August or start of September.

Now, on my first update log I posted a sneakpeak about meeting Noa and Ellie and now I want to post a little sneak peak about meeting our other male RO’s . Hope you enjoy! Unfortunately meeting Nereis is on Chapter 2…

Chapter 1 Completion Rate : %35 completed!

I like that they use the Le Serpent Rouge Club Mix for this, one of my favorite Classic Lara tracks.

It’s coming out soon, so I guess here’s a heads up on what’s been confirmed so far.

Some of the Achievements/Trophys have been leaked already and gathering her previously missing duel pistols is a requirement for one of them in Angel of Darkness. In fact in the original release she was meant to have duel USP Match’s and full auto Glocks (in game they were called the Vector R-35s and Scorpion Xs) so those are now present.

In fact there’s some other Achievements that have people speculating they’re adding in some other cut content, such as some training elements during the start of the game in the Parisian Ghetto. I hope they were able to add in the cut German Castle level, that would really add some much needed context to the plot of the game. I mean they were able to do some digging and add in the test levels that were cut from Legacy of Kain, so they definitely have the means. Although some of that was already dug out by fans who were sifting through the original game’s code. But then in the notes they mention they did contact some of the original developers.

It looks like they’re using actual guns for the in game models again. TR: AOD is one of the few games where you get to use a PP-Bizon, and I thought this was a Makarov PM for a moment, being the Russian level and whatnot, but it’s a Beretta.

Something I’m assuming they’re going to have to do is get rid of Jean-Yves altogether since Core Design got in trouble for using the name and likeness of the real life archaeologist the first time

Wonder if they’ll be able to edit the games to fix the continuity error that was created when they had to pull him out of the games that came after Revelations

Like when Lara mentions Werner Von Croy left her under the rubble of the Pyramids, you know, in spite of the fact that he was clearly seen in Chronicles rescuing her.

The original plot had Jean-Yves helping Lara, but after the cease and desist the team had to hastily replace and remove him.

There’s just a lot that needs cleaning up and I hope they get it all done in time for the release.

Angels Earthbread plans/info kinda

I gotta lock in on making this AU/fanfic so heres some things about it (almost all of it is subject to change)

One of the only things NOT subject to change is the fact that Pure Vanilla Cookie doesn't know he is AoD. It got voted on and thats what the people chose, I can't change that. HOWEVER, I do have ANOTHER AU in the works based around the idea that he DOES know but its more wholesome and OC focused (its called the Angels of Destiny or ASoD AU). Not gonna be a fic but rather fun doodles and maybe some intense written moments if I feel like it.

The Beasts will be a major part of the AU and so will their followers.

This is most definitely not going to be similar to how it happens in game (even though the AU started off as a theory) because Shadow Milk escapes last in this AU and uh...Yeah we've already been told whats happening for the fourth anni.

The AU is planned to be long, like, I mean LONG. I plan to do 5k words minimum each chapter and I refuse to make it any less than 10 chapters long. It will most likely be longer if some of the things I plan does properly happen though (for example, the first few chapters are basically "prologue". I don't consider it properly started until AoD ACTUALLY appears because I want a majority of the fic to be about that).

It wil also have POV switches but the main focus will still be on Pure Vanilla Cookie.

While a lot of it is angst, I do plan on having there be comfort/soft moments inbetween because to me having too much angst for too long can just turn the reader apathetic.

This mfer will probably take me a WHILE to do! As much as I want to do it faster, I have NEVER written something so god damn long in my life! Thats why I wrote my test fic! There will probably be more test-fics between now and the first chapters release.

I plan on writing the entirety of the prologue and the first few chapters before I start posting the fic. It will hopefully have a bi-weekly schedule meaning that I would have to write about 5k word per every 2 weeks. I may have some chapters be "twin chapters" in which they release a week apart or even just release at the exact same time if I feel like it. Most likely won't happen often though.

I do not wish to spoil too much about the AU/fic but if theres any questions you have you are free to go and ask me and if I don't deem it a spoiler I will respond! If I do deem it a spoiler I will still respond but just like...Tell you that I can't say anything.

Lastly I also hope to have cover art for every chapter. Just something I think would be cool and make it stand out as unique.

The writing style for the fic will also be the same as my test fic Don't Do Sadness so if you have any opinions on the writing style (likes/dislikes) please say it now or forever hold your peace.

Anyways yeah thats it for now.

AOD, All For You, Chapter 6

Word Count: 1.3k

Bucky woke up feeling groggy.  When he attempted to move, he was held back by a strap across his chest. 

“W-what the hell?”

“James!” Bucky’s attention snapped towards the familiar voice.  And all too quickly two small, warm hands were on either side of his face, “oh my god, James...you’re awake.”

“Shuri?” he asked, brows furrowed as he tried to figure out what the hell was going on.  He went to reach up, but only his flesh hand stroked her cheek.  He looked to his left arm and noticed the mottled, ruined metal, “mother fucker.”

“They thought you died,” she whimpered, stroking his cheek.  Bucky hissed in pain, and she frowned, “I’m sorry…you do have some burns where your arm didn’t protect you.”

“Burns?”

“Call it in to Drysdale and Nicola,” Nick huffed as he moved around your mother’s place.  He sighed to himself as he waited for Ransom to respond to the quick message.  Your mother was nowhere to be found, and the geotagged location at the docks was set for Curtis and Ari to investigate. Nick stopped in the living room and crossed his arms, shaking his head, “I’m thinking it was a test from Pronge to see if she would show up with the kid.  Call Everett and Levinson.  See if there’s any movement at the docks.”

Bucky felt it in his bones though. 

Something was off. 

Something was wrong. 

4 pm-the estate

5 pm-the penthouse

6 pm-the mother

8 pm- I get my son and you walk away alive.

“Something’s missing Nick.”

“What are you talking about?”

“What happens at 7?”

“What?” he chuckled, “What are you talking about?”

At 4 he burned her estate to the ground, at 5 he bombed the penthouse.  At 6 he took her mother.  And at 8 he’s supposed to get his son back and she walks away.”

“Seven’s missing.”

“Seven’s missing,” Bucky repeated.  He looked around the room nervously, “Nick…I think we’re seven.”

“Fuck.”

Bucky pulled out his phone once again and realized that it was 6:59, “Shit!  Get out, NOW!”

The younger man dropped his phone and ran after Nick as fast as he could.  They’d made it to the door when a ‘dinging noise went off and a loud explosion was centered behind them.  Bucky pushed Nick out of the way and covered him as much as he could with his arm and his body. 

“If you didn’t push him and cover both of you, you both would have died, James,” Shuri pointed out.  Her hand reached out again, and she stroked her former lover’s cheek once more.  Only this time, Bucky leaned into it, “you are a far cry from my white wolf, James Barnes.”

“I’ll always be your white wolf, my queen.”

“You have gone soft.”

“Being a father will do that,” he reminded her.  She gave him a soft look and he kissed her palm, “I’d do it all again for you Shuri…every second.”

“I know, James.”

“I want to come home.”

“The Wakandans haven’t forgiven you…”

“Your father is dead,” he sighed, “your brother is in power.  They don’t need to forgive me…do they?  Just T’Challa.”  

“He hasn’t forgiven you fully,” she sighed in response, “it will be a long time until you are fully forgiven, James.  I was seventeen.”

“I gave it all to him,” he cried, his lip warbling at the thought of how he gave his entire empire up for the promise that her father would let her keep their children and continue to protect Shuri, “I told him that I would pledge my allegiance to him…”

“And that’s why I haven’t been married off!”

“One day, Shuri,” he promised softly, “I’ll find a way, my queen.  And I’ll make up for every second that I missed with you.  That I missed with our children.”

“T’Challa wanted me to give you this.”

Before Bucky could question it, she had moved out of the way, and a case was in his line of sight, “Wh-what’s this?”

She opened it, and revealed a sleek black and gold arm, “it’s vibranium…and it’s Wakandan.”

“I thought you said that they were mad at me,” Bucky said snarkily, “and that he hadn’t forgiven me.”

“T’Challa recognizes acts of power and compassion,” she reminded the father of her children, “he knows that you are trying, James.  He knows that you are a far better man than when we were together…he wants you to know that he sees that.”

“That’s why he let you come.”

She nodded, “yes.”

“But Kanarie and Te’Kai.”

“They know of you.”

“He still won’t let me see them.”

“Would you want our ten-year-olds to see you like this?”

Bucky frowned, “No.”

“You are allowed to come back to our estate with me though,” she offered, “he wants to talk to you after I fix your arm.”

Bucky’s breath hitched in his throat, “h-he does?”

“He does,” she confirmed hopefully, “about what, he refused to tell me…but let’s get your arm on and we’ll head to the estate…okay?  I’m sure that he’ll let you see them after you two talk.”

“Okay, Shuri.”

“And James?”

He looked at the mother of his children.  She looked tired, and he knew that it was largely in part to him.  She’d taken care of the twins without him once her father found out about her pregnancy.  He was lucky to evade death when he knocked her up, but not lucky enough to see her again. 

Her father had made sure that she kept the children as per his side of the promise, but Bucky was allowed nowhere near her.  The Wakandans blamed him for ruining the intelligent princesses’ purity and pushing away the suitor who wanted to marry her with his own selfish actions. 

But they weren’t selfish to him. 

He loved her since the first second he met her.  He begged her father for her hand in marriage.  But he’d rejected the idea, stating she had a suitor already.   But when the pregnancy was found out, he disappeared like dust in the wind.  Shuri hadn’t been promised to anyone since.

“Yes?”

She gave him a soft look.  The same soft look that she’d first given him the day she met him all those years ago when they were just two kids shadowing their parents.  The look that made him fall in love with her in the first place.  She leaned forward and Bucky’s eyes fluttered closed. 

Suddenly he was transported to back when they were younger, and Bucky had offered to give her a tour of the estate, but at the first corner they turned, she’d pushed him into a wall and their lips met. 

“Don’t do anything stupid, James…this is an olive branch!” she whispered softly.   Bucky moaned, pulling his lover back to his lips with his flesh hand.  She sighed contentedly against him as their lips worked in tandem. 

“I love you, Shuri…” the older man whispered.

“I love you too, James.”

She let go of his hand when they reached the estate, and it was like a piece of him became missing once more, “Shur-“

“Would you like to go in first?” she asked. 

Bucky bit his lip before reaching for the door.  To his shock he saw T’Challa already waiting there, and two ten year olds standing in front of him.  His heart ached as he noticed their silvery blue eyes and lighter skin tones.  His heart felt like it was about to give out. 

He hadn’t expected to see them waiting at the door for him. 

Shuri took his hand once more and Bucky looked at her with a shocked expression.

“You are forgiven of  your transgressions, Bucky Barnes,” T’Challa said firmly, “from this day forward, you are a Wakandan…and you shall take your rightful place in the family, with my sister’s hand.”

“Welcome home, white wolf…” Shuri said with tears in her eyes.  Bucky’s heart soared as he pulled her back to his chest, their lips meeting in a heated passion.

How is it management ? What are the treatment options ? To treat an Acute sinus infection , your Healthcare provider may prescribed you  Decongestant (oral or topical )  Antibiotics  Intranasal steroids spray  Leukotriene antagonists that reduce the allergic response In cases of chronic Sinusitis , your clinician may advice Endiscopic sinus surgery What is an Endoscopic Sinus Surgery? It the procedure of clearing out the Blocked sinuses that impede the normal Drainage of the sinuses. It is adviced when sinus infection does not settle with medical management

Is surgery a permanent cure ?

Usually sinus infections does not recurr after a Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery. However it certain cases with compromised local or general immune conditions it may recur. It is adviced to follow the post op care which includes  Nasal douching  Nasal drops and nasal sprays  Avoid forceful sneezing ,nose blowing for few days  Avoid strenuous work for 10 days

INTERVIEW - SCHOOL VS UNI

I interviewed my peer, hemansha, and had her give her point of view on the transition from school to uni.

How would you compare the projects/assignments that you had to do in school vs uni?

So it’s like completely different right?

Assignments in school, were homework, that we had to do everyday, and they didn’t really count at the end for our overall exam grades.

But in uni there’s obviously assignments which they grade, that do count towards the final grades which is also a contribution towards passing the modules.

Did school do a good job at preparing you for the adult life? (higher education/work life)

Oh no, definitely not! I had no idea what olevels were until i actually did olevels, until the final few grades, I had no idea what I was doing. School also put of much of pressure on you since middle school to do better, but none of that matters now. Like even currently, our grades dont really matter right? so yeah.

In terms of adult life in different aspects that’s a no either, the teachers kind of like teach you life skills while teaching but other than that no.

How would you compare the school syllabus to the Northumbria (AOD) syllabus?

School syllabus is a lil more studying and memorizing all that, it’s different for the London syllabus right?

Yes actually, I did the London syllabus for both olevels and alevels and I think I would’ve kind of preferred the more textbook based examinations actually but yes. For the london syllabus, we basically had questions that would test analytical and critical thinking skills, without just textbook knowledge but in a way it helped and kind of does come in handy right now too and i think that’s exactly what design uni is about.

Did you enjoy or feel to do your school assignments? how do you feel about doing your uni assignment?

There’s a huge difference there because you would think that if there’s a subject you like you would’ve enjoyed doing your homework right? so i generally did all my homework whether i liked it or not.

But in uni, I really like the assignments and i want to get them done because its basically my hobbies but in a more educational setting, so that was basically the difference for me.

How would you explain the freedom you had to learn in school vs uni?

Yeah I think uni has a lot more self studying and exploration while in school you get everything handed to you and you could just read the book and get the ideas.

Plus, the teachers would teach you exactly what to know and that packed with the fact that we don’t need anymore knowledge, you wouldn’t go exploring on your own, but for this if you cant do this then you’re expected to find a way and figure it out in your own, so yes.
