Currently working on a master post for canonmates- or sourcemates in general, but I reference things that happened in my canon that probably never happened in other canons. But it's also enough to be for all sourcemates. (Except doubles. Errr... Sorry Links and Linkles)

Anyway, it might take a while as I need to sort everything out and my ADHD sucks.

Last night, I had a dream. Or... well, it was technically a memory but with dream aspects to it. I'll tell it, replacing/removing my dream aspects from the memory.

Princess Zelda was walking in front of me, the cool wind from Hebra Mountain rolled onto our faces while walking to Rito Village. Zelda was wearing her travel outfit: her light blue shirt tucked into her black pants and brown boots that went a few inches just below her knees. Her hair was blowing in the wind from north to south, as was mine, just not as much since I had mine in a ponytail. I wore my green tunic that I had gotten in the Forgotten Temple just east of here.

We didn't say much, which was fine with me. I liked staying quiet. As we walked, we got ambushed by blue Bokoblins. In one spin attack with my Royal Knight's Broadsword, I slashed off all 5 of their heads before the princess I was guarding could react. Their purple blood splattered all over us. Then, after a few seconds of the dead bodies laying on the ground, they turned to smoke and blew away, from north to south as well. The blood dissipated, and behind were their fangs, horns, and stomach, which pulsated as if it was still digesting something they ate. I silently cursed them out, How could the Goddesses make the monsters turn to smoke while the humans, elementals, and anthros had bodies they needed to bury.

Then, I heard a screech of another Bokoblin, I turned to see a club inches from my face as a black Bokoblin leapt up in the air like a frog and was coming down at me. I had no time to react, but an arrow pierced the cheek of this monster with just enough force to make the thing miss.

A white feathered Rito flew above us with his bow drawn. The Bokoblin realizing that it was going to die, fled. The Rito landed next to us, on his back was a child that looked like him. I realized who these two were instantly.

"Teba." I said, sheathing my sword. "Ah, Linkle, it's good to see you." the adult Rito smiled at me and turned to Zelda, bowing. "And it seems you got my letter, Princess." Zelda gave a kind, simple nod. "Yes, you requested to see myself and Linkle." "I have... news. I'm unsure of whether to call it good or bittersweet." Teba answered. Zelda and I glanced at each other.

Teba led us back to Rito Village and when we got to his nest, he presented us with tea. We kindly accepted and he began his explanation of how after Calamity Ganon was defeated, he heard a beep of some kind of Guardian, and a portal opened before him, to which he saw the late Rito Champion about to die to Windblight Ganon.

Over the coarse of an hour or two, he explained in great detail about how he, Yunobo, Riju, Sidon, his son "Tulin", and Riju's sandseal "Patricia" all were sent back in time and helped defeat the Calamity and how things changed.

It... was very emotional. The Princess and I listened to how an alternate timeline now existed. All our pain and suffering in this timeline still existed. We lost everyone we cared about, but in that time? People were lost, but it was not a mass genocide like it was for us.

After a lot of processing, we thanked Teba for telling us and traveled back home, it took us days to get back, but once we got to my house in Hateno, Zelda and I collapsed into each other in front of the picture of the Champions and sobbed, holding each other and thinking about what Teba had described. It was just as Teba said it was: bittersweet.

After a week of discussing and grieving, we decided to host a ceremony for the heroes of that timeline. We declared Teba, Sidon, Yunobo, and Riju as "the new Champions" and after the ceremony, over the course of 2 years, we destroyed as much of the Sheikah technology as we could. Or reusing things that we knew that if Calamity Ganon ever returned, he wouldn't be able to use against us like he did before.

Recipe for pizza! (Because I actually invented pizza back in Hyrule)

Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C)

First, let's start with making the dough. Dough recipe:

In a mixing bowl, combine 2.5 cups (590 ml) flour, 3 teaspoons (16.5 grams) baking powder, and 1 teaspoon (5.5 grams) salt together.

Slowly add 1 cup (235 ml) of water to the mixing bowl, whisking it in.

Once it can no longer be whisked, start kneading the dough to finish mixing the water in.

Take a rolling pin and flatten the dough.

Grab a pan and grease the pan with olive oil.

Fit the dough on the pan and prepare for the toppings

Now, for the toppings.

Spread a layer of tomato sauce on the dough.

Add a meat such as pepperoni or shredded chicken along the layer of tomato sauce.

Dice up a green bell pepper and onion and sprinkle that on top your layer of meat

Spread a layer of a mixed bag of mozzarella, cheddar, parmesan, and ricotta on top of that. (Repeat this step until you have the amount of cheese you want)

For more flavor, add some crushed red pepper and oregano on top the cheese.

Now bake in the oven for 15 minutes or until the breaded bottom is golden brown and cheese is all melted. Cut into 8 slices for the 8 servings! Enjoy.

...... Scrolling through old kinfessions and I came across this.

My memory is the same. It was just the old folk who had a problem with it pre-Calamity as in my canon, it was a very new law addition (Urbosa implemented the law)

By the time present day rolled around, her great granddaughter Riju was still upholding that law and no one except for ONE person had a problem with it.

Vilia and I weren't friends persay, but whenever we saw each other, we'd talk fashion.

i've started a new file in botw (so apologies in advance if i send in some rapid-fire kinfessions) and i just got to gerudo town and. i forgot how outright transmisogynistic this part of the game is.

i believe i've mentioned before, but per my memory, the gerudo were incredibly trans friendly. my link was a trans woman, and she was allowed into gerudo town regardless of what she wore. the concept of someone outright lying about their gender just.. wasn't something anyone worried about.

also vilia is a lovely woman and i hate how nintendo treats her. -zelda (#💞🦁)

Canonfirmation:

So, I don't really have any weird ways I've kinfirmed a character. It's just that some of them I'm not really looking for and boom, kinfirmed.

Like I've said before, (like, going MONTHS back) I started questioning if I was AoC/BotW/TotK Link, as I've literally written fanfiction and drawn (really badly) fanart for this guy for 3 years and then 15 minutes later: boom, kinfirmed not him, but instead a transfem Link named Linkle.

Or I give up on figuring out if I'm kin, chalk it up to being headcanons and in the middle of listening to a song: boom, I figure out I'm Vi from Arcane

Honestly, the only real "weird" kinfirm was a kind that I've never done again to this day which was a tarot card reading, which kinfirmed Lillie Aether from Pokemon.

I mean... I don't have like any weird kinfirmation things I think. Like I haven't tripped over a rock on the ground and been like "OMG I'M [character]!!"

But do I kin weird characters? Oh for sure, how the fuck did I kinfirm crossover fanfiction I made for example? Or what about the side characters you meet like once and then never again?
