And what if I told you that Nesta was well within her right to reveal the truth to Feyre? What if I told you that Nesta revealing the truth spitefully or in a mean way was in no way comparable to the IC’s lies to Feyre? WHAT IF I TOLD YOU that I couldn’t care less how she said it, just that she said it at all?

Nesta seems to be the only one with the tenacity to unmask the unending facade of the IC. She might be a bitch, but at least she’s honest. If anything, she does right by Feyre for telling her the truth and I will always have more respect for her than the immortal clique who lied to Feyre for months to “protect her”. Oh how noble of them! And here I was thinking that they respected Feyre as a strong and competent leader (guess I was wrong)

The IC is more enraged by the knowledge of a terrible act being spoken aloud than the act itself. It’s as if they live to maintain a certain type of decorum that really just sweeps their troubles, trauma and grievances under the rug. Nesta telling the truth was a violation of that conduct, it was an act that unmasked the IC for what it has been this entire time. A tightly knit clique who enforce their views on others and see the Archeron as inherently beneath them. As such, considering their feelings, opinions and autonomy is unnecessary. (Because they apparently know best)

Do you think Nesta feels save and comfortable telling Cassian about her mental health even in a healthy way? I mean just talking if she had a bad day of about the things she thinks about that may hurt her.

Cause after how Cassian invalidated her and pushed her just for being mean, if I were Nesta I wouldn't feel safe telling "my mate" about. And the funny part is that talking about this is something so basic and normal that all couples should feel safe to do.

I’m not going to waste my time responding to the insane hate messages I’ve gotten for being critical of acotar and SJM. I’m just deleting them because they’re likely all from the same person who’s too scared to come off anon and they don’t deserve the attention, but I would like to point out the following:

No one, and I mean no one, is demonizing Feyre for discussing her trauma from her time in the cabin. That is not what’s happening here. People (myself included) are criticizing Feyre for her inability to acknowledge the fact that she wasn’t the only sister suffering in that cabin. People are criticizing Feyre for shifting all the blame that should be on Papa Archeron to her sisters who were also children at the time.

The irony of Nesta haters is honestly astounding. They ramble on about how nasty Nesta is and how she's evil and abusive and then in the same breath they say some of the most horrid things I've ever heard about her and her fans. And they make it very clear they want her to suffer, even more than she already has.

Hating Nesta says a lot more about you as a person than it does about the character

whenever I hate a fictional character, I do whatever I can to not engage in content revolving around them. so why is it that nesta haters talk more about her than her actual fans? every time I open a comment section to a positive/neutral video or slideshow about nesta, lo and behold, there are her anti's camped in there. there are accounts who have entire playlists and albums dedicated to hate videos for her. y'all do way too much for a character you claim isn't special lmao.

Antis didn't realize that taking down Cassian correspond to insulting Nesta, it also shows that they didn't understand her character either.

At the end Nesta is happy with her mate, they will grow as a couple but their love remains something very special and very human.
