An Alastor Fan Rants about one of the Season 2 Leaks

I’m making this as a way to voice my opinions on the whole Alasor and Rosie leak alongside his backstory and just how it doesn’t work… and ruined Alastor as a character in a span of minutes.

So first off! Rosie being the one to own Alastor’s soul! Out of ALL the characters it could’ve been, they chose Rosie. A character who was rather chummy with Al and seemed rather nice, and gave NO hint or implications of this being a possibility. That shows how they just pulled this out of their ass and prove the theorists wrong that it wasn’t Lilith or Roo, both that would’ve made way more sense in terms of story.

And quite honestly, I didn’t really care who it could’ve been as long as the execution was decent enough. But that’s not what they did! And not to mention that the song that follows after Alastor’s backstory, after we learn he’s a poc and whatnot, the song itself feels very… racist and uncomfortable to sit through. How the lyrics are all you’re my pet and you have to do everything I say, like Vivzie… are you actively trying to get people pissed at you? You’re already in deep shit with being accused of being sexist and lazy with research, why you gotta add racism into the mix?

Like, I can ONLY see this working if it results in Alastor and Charlie growing closer together, like Charlie genuinely cares about him and doesn’t treat him like he’s a monster or a pet, to have him realize her kindness and accept it.

Okay, let’s step away from Rosie and talk about Al’s backstory, because it does a HUGE disservice to Alastor and what he’s supposed to be in Hazbin Hotel.

So from what we’ve seen of him before the leaks, he’s shown to be cunning and manipulative. Using his sharp tongue as a weapon and to be able to turn the tides in his favor, he had this air of mystery to him as to why he’s so powerful. So it leaves viewers second guessing as to what he’s gonna do and if he’ll go as far as to backstab the main cast in the process.

… Well FUCK ALL THAT!!

He’s a serial killer just because! No motive or anything, he’s in it for the lols! Oh and he contacted a demon (AKA Rosie) to give him power when he dies so he can continue his reign and all that!

Which… What the actual fuck is this?

This doesn’t sound like Alastor at all! He’s someone who would put in work for the things he wants, not just ask for it on a silver platter! And what about his mom and dad? Are they just not in the picture anymore when they could’ve been used effectively for how he turned out?

And it’s like okay, I can understand if when he did arrive in Hell he tried to rise up but got curb stomped by demons stronger than him and did way worse things than he did. Thus leading him to meeting Rosie and accepting the deal just so he can feel in control again like when he was alive, but this just feels VERY out of character for him!

Usually when a creator has a favorite character they tend to coddle them and give them what they want, so why does it feel like Alastor is getting the short end of the stick this season? Even more so than Charlie!?

It’s just… as someone whose favorite character is Alastor, seeing how things are gonna turn out for him this season is not giving me hope that this season will get better.

So, about the leak…, I saw it, so for everyone who reads this

First I have to add some words from myself (again): So, moving on to the leak that is on Tik Tok, I won't post it here because I don't want to spread it, at most I can send the video in a private message to those interested, with a warning again not to spread it further, but to keep it to themselves, there are people who don't want to know about it and you have to respect them, but then there are people like me who like this little bit of excitement while waiting for the next season (by the way, this is good news, because you can see that the season is being actively created, because I was afraid that we would see it no sooner than in 2026/27, and looking at this leak, the way it looks, at some points it is already quite advanced in terms of sketches and the fact that both animators and voice actors, that the series is being actively created, I think it will be released somewhere in six months, or a year at the latest, and that makes me look forward to it even more :) ) and yes, I sometimes like to receive some information from the actors or the creators themselves, Viv herself said some spoilers about the second season, such as the song Charlie or Vaggie, etc. (if it's true, because I don't know how this account is reliable, but it seems to be an official account informing about news related to cartoons, who knows, I don't, you can probably also find this tweet in the most popular ones from Hazbin Hotel), because for me such information is a small relief in waiting and they fuel the excitement about the series' arrival, because it makes me wait for it even more impatiently.

And finally, getting serious about the leak, I would like to analyze it, I will only write, I will not paste neither photos nor fragments of the video, as I wrote above.

At the beginning we see that Alastor has come to Rosie asking her, even demanding her help, we see that he is angry, even furious.

I won't write about the fact that this whole leak tells us practically 100% (unless someone is really laughing at us) that Rosie is the owner of Alastor's soul, because there is nothing to analyze here, in my opinion, I can only write that I was shocked…, I didn't even suspect that Alastor might have a deal with her, my two most likely chances were:

Lilith

I would have sooner believed that Alastor had a deal with the von Eldrichts, never with Rosie, because in the first season they really seemed to be very close friends, many people shipped them, I shipped Alastor with her after Charlastor, it was my second shipp which including Al, and now…, I don't see Alastor and Rosie happening at all, and clearly this whole friendship is fake…, which brings me to my next point:

Alastor doesn't actually have any real friends!

Some people have written before that he has no friends, but they always wrote it this way, that if Alastor is "friends" with someone, it is only for his own benefits, and I always thought that Rosie and Mimzy were his friends after all, Rosie more, than Mimzy, because Mimzy uses him, but despite everything, and now my view is ruined… Alastor has no real friends…, Rosie is his mistress and this whole friendship is fake, Mimzy uses him, he uses Husker, Niffty is kind of his obedient pet after all, he doesn't have anyone real in his life… and that makes me think even more about Charlastor's perspective… because Charlie is a person who doesn't mean anything using Alastor, who is honest and true (even if in my opinion she hides part of herself, this demonic part of herself, partly for the sake of wanting to be too good, partly for the sake of Vaggie, who is disgusted by demonicity…, sorry, but I'll go anti Chaggie now, how can you say that you love someone when you are ashamed/fearful/dislike/hate/disgusted or in any way negative about half of the personality of the person you are with and want them to hide that half…, even worse because Vaggie hate songs, singing, dancing, general joy and optimism that Charlie displays, even her good heart, because Vaggie herself was against helping others from the very beginning, it really surprises me how you can make these two people be together and even in the Wiki about Hazbin Hotel the character of Vaggie writes "she likes everything that Charlie likes", when everything is nonsense…, everything that Charlie likes, Vaggie hates, the only thing that Vaggie likes is Charlie herself, Charlie, but stripped of her good heart, of her love of dancing, singing, music, of her demonic powers, everything that Charlie is Vaggie hates or he just doesn't like it… how can it be possible to say that these two characters have chemistry…, I used to justify their relationship with the text "No, Vaggie is just too underdeveloped, empty", but now the more I think about this relationship, the more I see that it's not true, Vaggie in my opinion has something else in her, something more, but like Charlie, she hides it because, like with her lies, she is afraid that Charlie will dislike her for it or hates her, and at the same time she tells Charlie to proverbially hide in a corner every time, these two women have a negative impact on each other, they pin each other flat to the ground with chains and do not allow each other to get up…, they limit each other, this relationship is superficially healthy and sweet, but if you look deeper, it is terribly toxic for both of them… I've gone too far… and this isn't about Chaggie… I'm sorry, but something really got on my mind today after seeing this leak… :) ), Charlie is the person who can (and in my opinion will) become the real person for Alastor, the one who won't uses him like Mimzy, nor try to gain power over him, despite being more powerful like Rosie, she will not be his pet like Niffty, nor will she be his subject like Husker, Charlie, in my opinion, will surprise Alastor more than once (positively, of course) and this will significantly change his perspective, because probably everyone in his surroundings, they were one of the categories of those four people above, summed up to two: they either tried to take advantage of him or allowed themselves to be taken advantage of by him, and I look forward to watching Charlie neither try to gain the upper hand over him nor submit to him, but she responds to his challenge honestly, as equals, that's something I want to see :)

Moving on, we clearly see that Rosie treats Alastor as her pet, she calls him "pet", says that he is part of her zoo, says that he will listen to her, sit when she says sit, etc., we see some a kind of leash and a cage, so it's no wonder that Alastor treats Husker in the same way and treats Niffty like a small animal, he took an example from Rosie, it's not his own invention (as some people thought), but her influence.

We further learn that Alastor has been serving her for centuries, from what we learn later in the cutscene, Alastor has been her "pet" since they met, so it could be a really, really long time ago…, it's possible that even from the very beginning when he went to hell… he says that he obeyed her demands and a thought occurred to me… what if all the murdering of overlords that Alastor did in the past was not of his own will, but on Rosie's orders… because she wanted to get rid of strong competition and used Alastor for this purpose…?

We further learn that it was because of Rosie that he disappeared for these 7 years and that people are less afraid of him after this time, the question is why did she tell him to disappear?

Did she just want to weaken him this way, to silence the Radio Demon a bit, because she saw that he was starting to pose too much of a threat, so she told him to disappear?

He then talks about fixing his staff, so we learn that he went alone, reluctantly, as we see at the very beginning of the clip, to ask for her help in fixing his staff. I'm guessing it's about all the people in the hotel, Charlie, Vaggie, Angel Husker, Niffty etc., maybe they are in a complete emotional turmoil and he asks her for help, similar to when he took Charlie to her when she needed to talk to someone after an argument with Vaggie. Most importantly, even if Alastor says "staff", we clearly see that he cares about this staff ;) , he went to the person who owns his soul, with great reluctance, to help his "staff" (let's agree Alastor, we call each other by name, they are not "staff", they are friends :) ), clearly in my opinion we will see Alastor becoming more and more attached to our hotel group, whether he likes it or not :D

And something that is most important to me, which is at the very end, which I must quote:

R: Who can't be sad?

A: At least not yet.

This is what struck me the most (apart from the deal itself, of course), everyone in Cannibal Town (except Susan, of course…) is smiling all the time, Rosie herself is also smiling almost all the time, these exchanges above can, in my opinion, suggest two things:

Less likely, but I'll write it anyway, that Alastor wants to get over Rosie and wants her to end up sad.

Most likely, and by the way, it would also solve the case that Alastor's smile is not some maniacal smile of a psychopath, as some have written, but it may really be, as others have written, the result of magic, Alastor's deal with Rosie and Alastor is constantly forced by her smiling, which he has had enough of.

These are my quick thoughts after this leak, thank you for your perseverance (who persevered :D ), reading (who read :D ) and I wish you a nice day, evening or night :)

This is a personal rant about my thoughts on Greek mythology retellings, and just the way Fantasy books and the publishing industry is at this point 🧍‍♀️

I have nothing against Greek mythology retellings, or just anything Greek mythology related in fantasy in general!

However, I have certain gripes about the way Greek mythology is portrayed in media, specifically in the way its interpreted in Fantasy.

I love Percy Jackson, and I think that Uncle Rick did a wonderful job at expanding the world and making Greek, Roman, Egyptian, and Norse mythology entertaining and easily digestible for young audiences. Genuinely, he does a better job at writing children's books than R*wling could ever be capable of.

However, as much as I can love PJO as much as I do, I still find certain bits of the world building and character writing as... Very hit and miss.

To start, I don't like the way Ares was written in the series. I can understand that it would make sense for his personality to be that way, because he's the God of War and it helps with Clarisse's character development; but I find fault in it because Ares in the myths is nothing like PJO Ares. (He literally killed one of Poseidon's sons because he raped his daughter, Alcippe, and he's one of the only gods who doesn't hump anything that can breathe in air. At least Ares has the courtesy of asking for consent 💀)

The Gods being the reason behind WWII and Hitler being a child of Hades. All I must say.

The portrayal of the Aphrodite cabin

The fact that Athena can have children. Annabeth, pjo fandom at large, I love you are, but you gotta admit it must've felt weird when you first read the books and you find out Athena — the maiden Goddess of Wisdom — can have offspring. Regardless of the reasoning, I still find it weird 😭 (EDIT: I've now just remembered that it was a reference to how Athena herself was created 🤡 I'm a clown)

I get that the Hermes cabin is also the cabin for the unclaimed, but couldn't have Hestia's cabin worked too? She doesn't have offspring, sure, but it probably would've made more sense for the unclaimed to go to Hestia's cabin so that the Hermes cabin wouldn't be so crowded

This isn't really a world building issue, but I think I should bring it up: I'm not saying this against the Kane Chronicles fandom, but... Sadie and Anubis. Why. Like you can't convince me that no one WASN'T weirded out by that.

Less of a complaint and more of a question because I can't remember if the question was answered in HoO or not, but when Percy told the Gods to start claiming their unclaimed children and be more decent parents (as he should, go off king), did that request apply to the Romans at Camp Jupiter too? Because that's gotta have been confusing when the unclaimed kids at CP suddenly started getting claimed 😭😭

I could go on a whole ass tangent about PJO, but that would make this post longer than it needs to be 😭😭 and any of the points might not make much sense, since I haven't read the books in a LONG time

Off to the YA Fantasy segment... Hoo boy.

The oversaturation of Hades/Persephone retellings makes me SEETHE. Why is it always Hades and Persephone why can't it be something else 😭

I just don't like the “modern feminist” retellings of Greek myths in the YA Fantasy genre, in general. They tend to completely miss the point of the original myth, and it's the case with a lot of Hades and Persephone retellings where they try to paint Hades as the good guy taking Persephone away from her control freak mother, Demeter.

Because that wasn't what the myth was about. The myth isn't a love story, at least, not a romantic one. It was about Demeter's love for Persephone and how much she wanted her daughter back after Hades stole her away. Keep in mind, in the historical context of the myth, the daughters of women in ancient Greece never really get to see their mothers after their engagements are solidified.

If they wanted to make a “feminist” retelling of the myth, they'd have it centered around the love Demeter had for Persephone to almost doom the mortal realm to an eternal winter to get her back.

I love the myth of Hades and Persephone, truly, I do. I understand the appeal it has on people, the appeal it has one me. I can see why people adore the myth in the way they do because Hades is one of the better husbands in Greek mythology (a low bar, but my point still stands).

Personally, I blame Lore Olympus and especially the video of the myth by Overly Sarcastic Productions for the way the myth is portrayed in mass media. And I say this as a former LO fan and a fan of Overly Sarcastic Productions 😭

I'd also want to go into my many, MANY gripes about “Crown of Starlight” by Cait Corrain, but in all honesty? I don't think I can properly convey how much I DESPISE Cait and their book. So I'd highly recommend y'all to check out the videos about Cait Corrain by Reads With Rachel, WithCindy, and Xiran Jay Zhao on YouTube if you're interested in going into more detail about the controversies, especially for those who weren't made aware of it.

I feel like the publishing industry just... Isn't good anymore, after Booktok went viral. Reading has been “hot girlified”, and all Booktok seems to ask when they get recommended a book is: “Is it spicy??”

Reading is like fast fashion, now. It's all based around certain popular tropes that that's how books are promoted now. Not for the plot — or sometimes lack thereof — but for the tropes the book has.

The only thing I can thank Booktok for is that they helped me discover The Cruel Prince. And even then, it's marketed as romance on there, when it's a political fantasy with a romance subplot.

I, personally, don't read — nor do I like — Sarah J Maas. (Especially considering the problematic aspects of her storytelling, character portrayals, and is (apparently, correct me if I'm wrong) a Zionist)

However, that isn't to say that I don't like some of the characters she makes. A lot of them have potential, actually! From what I've seen, I think Nesta, Gwyn, Azriel, Eris, Tamlin and Lucien from ACOTAR are the only characters I actually like, based on what I've heard — and seen — on anything in the SJM critical tag on this hellsite.

And while we're at it, let's discuss the elephant in the room with ACOTAR, right? Rhysand.

By all that is good and holy, I hate Rhysand so much and I think I'd hate him even more if I actually READ the books. I don't get why Booktok is so invested in him when Maas retconned Tamlin's character to make him look better as Feyre's love interest.

Also, from what I recall, didn't Rhysand sexually assault Feyre? And he didn't bother to apologize for it, and justified it with his sad tragic backstory??

I can't with y'all, istg 😭 the fact that “Feysand” is apparently a Hades and Persephone retelling too makes me even more mad about it because it isn't even a GOOD retelling. It just takes away what ACOTAR originally was— a Beauty and the Beast retelling, with Feyre and Tamlin as the leads.

Didn't Maas dedicate ACOTAR to her husband because “He would go under the mountain” for her??? BECAUSE IT CERTAINLY WASN'T RHYSAND WHO SAVED FEYRE FROM UTM, I'LL TELL YOU THAT

I think, out of all the series Maas has made thus far, Throne of Glass is the only one I ACTUALLY kind of like, based on what I've heard. Crescent City seems to be too complicated to understand, and even though I've never read it myself, I miss what ACOTAR could've been. (My hope lies with Nesta, Elucien and Gwynriel, at this point)

i know i’m in the minority bc from what i’ve seen people think that was super ooc of him, but i actually think rhysand keeping the pregnancy from feyre was perfectly in line with what we know of his character. incredibly, incredibly fucked up decision fs — but totally in line with his characterization. throughout the series, he rarely, if ever, admits to there being a problem until he already has the solution in hand. he honestly often doesn’t admit to there even being a problem at all until after his solution has already played out. he wanted to be able to provide feyre problem and solution all at once, like he always can. but this time, he had no solution, so he could not admit to there being a problem, because that would be admitting that there was a problem he could not solve, which would fracture his mental schema as someone who can always find a way out or around or through anything thrown his way. (see also: what has all his sacrifice been for if this is where he fails? when his fragile, unformed family needs him most?)

where i take issue is that this is not pushed back on in canon. and i don’t even mean by other characters. it makes sense from what we’ve seen of them thus far that the people he surrounds himself with would overlook and excuse this behavior. (still fucked up obv.) but the narrative rewards rhysand. the narrative demonizes nesta for rightly informing her own sister of the threat to her life. the narrative behaves as if rhysand’s choice is above reproach, sweeping it under the rug with feyre getting upset with rhysand off page and showing us no other real repercussion for him. sjm could have made this a huge, gritty conflict where rhysand had to reflect on himself, where feyre defended nesta and fought with him for doing to her what had been done to her in the past; it could have been rich and fucked up and emotional and uncomfortable and (word of the day) compelling to read. rhysand making a series of fucked up choices and having to deal with them would have been sick. instead, we got a really icky plotline. so yeah i’m not anti rhysand. i’m uhhh anti sjm lmao

You know how I complain about the lack of emotional resolution in The Final Problem? It's not an issue exclusive to that episode.

In The Great Game, there is an explosion at 221B, when John enters the room expecting to see a hurt or injured Sherlock, but instead, we see Mycroft and Sherlock talk about a case.

Why is this interesting? We know Mycroft went straight there after he heard about the explosion, most likely for reasons other than the case like, idk, to check if his brother is still alive? We are not shown that. If Mycroft showed any concern towards him, it is entirely off screen.

We are shown Mycroft watch Sherlock get tortured and speak to him in bad Serbian (why was the Serbian so bad? Was it supposed to be bad?), mirror the actions of his torturers and refer to his torture as a "holiday."

What are we not shown? Mycroft helping him out of the chains. Arranging for him to get his wounds mended. Any possible show of concern. See a pattern?

The Great Game was mostly from John's pov, so it makes sense there. John wasn't there. Here you have no excuse, as season 3 is mostly Sherlock's pov.

So why did they not show us that? They were afraid of consequences. It's the same reason the Lazarus explanation felt like a retcon and a cop-out to people.

I saw a hypothesis that just as Option 1 was Anderson's fantasy and Option 2 was the fangirl fantasy, Lazarus is Sherlock's fantasy.

In this version, he had the events perfectly in control, Mycroft didn't cause him to get screwed over and it was all intentional and they worked together, John, Mrs H and Lestrade were not in any real danger, Sherlock didn't get as emotional on the roof and didn't cry etc. etc. etc.

You see if Mycroft was to blame for the fall, if he was what truly led to Sherlock's downfall and it wasn't all premeditated, you would have to address that.

Sherlock would be angry with him. He would resent him for something he actually did as opposed to a vague reason we were never given or explained.

You wanted to play with emotional stakes, but you didn't want any relationships to actually evolve.

That's why John's beating of Sherlock is not addressed in The Final Problem even when it would be relevant.

That's why Molly is shown back in 221B at the end when the last time we saw her, Eurus put her friendship with Sherlock in serious jeopardy if not outright kill it.

That's why they wrote Rosie into the show and then did next to nothing with her.

That's why 221B explodes and then is rebuilt in a quick montage at the end of the episode.

That's why Eurus is put back into the very same prison she had no issue mindfucking everyone in and escaping from.

That's why we don't see Sherlock reacting to Mycroft being freed or have them discuss events of Sherrinford.

Because they wanted to put these characters through hell, but not actually have anything change.

🇹🇭1000 Years Old [10/12] - This is dragging and I am incredibly bored.

🇹🇭23.5 [4/12] - This show is incredibly cute and I'm smiling through the whole thing. Aylin is my favourite and I'm hoping against hope for the teachers to become a couple. Make it happen gmmtv!

🇹🇭Deep Night [6/8] - The long shots are killing me but the story is moving fast. There's a surprising amount of good communication and the throuple is almost inevitable a this point.

🇰🇷Jazz for Two [6/8] - This is the first bl show where I read the source material before the show and I wish I hadn't. The changes that were made just don't make sense to me, because I don't see how it serves the story. But putting that aside, the story feels rushed and the pacing is weird. The second couple doesn't read believable with this time frame. Anyway I might edit this post when I watch the last 2 episodes. [EDIT] Completed. Final thoughts here. 🇯🇵Love is Better The Second Time Around [4/6] - Why must you do this again Japan? 6 episodes for this one? I'm not happy about this. This show is so good. I love how the mains communicate, not to mention they are beautiful to watch.

🇯🇵My Strawberry Film[7/8] - I have no idea what this show is about nor it seems does it. Do I care at this point? Nope, not really. Let it be over.

🇹🇭To Be Continued [6/8] - This is getting into The Promise territory and I'm not amused. Another one that is dragging and I like the second couple but they barely have any screen time. I'll finish it because there are only two episodes left but I'll be sprinting to the finish line.

🇹🇼Unknown [7/12] - It hurts so good. The songs were killing me this episode. I really liked the separation, I think it was necessary for them. Yuan seems more mature and it will be interesting to see how it changes the relationship.

QL - Finished

🇹🇭Cherry Magic Th – What a wonderful surprise this was. Tay and New are beautiful together and their chemistry was on point. I really liked how the source material was used here.

🇯🇵Cherry Magic Anime – It was quite faithful to the manga with only a couple of deviations and of course it didn't cover everything but I really enjoyed watching yet another version of these characters.

🇹🇭Dead Friend Forever – It was quite a ride. I specially enjoyed the communal watching of this one and all the theories as more people tuned in. Didn't love the ending but it was better than I thought. Still not over White though. 🇯🇵Although I Love You, and You? - Started great, the middle was meh, and by the end I wasn't invested enough in the couple so even though it ended happy, it didn't make up for the rest of it. 🇯🇵Perfect Propose - Great all the way through. I loved this characters a lot and still think it's amazing how well the time was used here. 🇯🇵Ossan's Love Returns - It's Japan at it's finest. Love, food, chaos, found family and cherry blossoms. What more can I ask for? 🇯🇵She Loves to Cook, and She Loves to Eat - My heart grew.🖤

🇹🇼Anti Reset - This is one of the most frustrating shows I've watched in a while. This started off strange and most of the show doesn't seem to know what it wanted to say about the AI part of it. It drove crazy on a weekly basis. But I thought their chemistry was really good and they are just an adorable couple. These 4 VBL series [Stay By My Side, You Are Mine, Vip Only] were a mixed bag for me. I think Stay By My Side is my favourite overall.

🇨🇳The Spirealm - First of all, Ruan Lan Zhu is absolutely gorgeous and his outfits are always perfection. The visuals are really good. This was definitely not a cheap production. The sets for all the doors are incredible. Talking only about the game, I gotta say the second door was my favourite. The bromance toes the line, but I'm not surprised this was taken down. I think if they'd kiss it would be less obvious than some of their scenes. I'm not going to spoil the ending but if you're thinking about watching here's your warning. A bit after the halfway point it gets incredibly sad and the ending is just heart-breaking.

Dropped 🇹🇭A Secretly Love [3/10] 🇹🇭Kiseki Chapter 2 [2/6] Also haven't started Two Worlds because I'm waiting to know if I should bother. I'm experiencing a bit of Thai bl fatigue so we'll see.

Takumi-kun 1: And The Spring Breeze Whispers (2007) - The editing is choppy as hell and it gets hard to understand the characters motivations. And the acting is not good. Yeah, not a fan of this one. Udagawachou de Matteteyo (2015) - This one is weird. I recently watched Life as a Girl so I admit that the comparison doesn't help this one at all. The idea is interesting but the execution is poor. There's a couple of scenes that are a bit hard to watch. In this particular story I think if we had a bit more insight to the characters motivations it would've helped me connect and feel more invested. In the end, for my particular goal it was fine I guess.

It's been a year of Rose this month. And it's been kinda great. It took me a while to get over my shyness here and I still feel intimidated but it's gotten better. The people in this space have been really kind to me and I appreciate it so much. Thank you so much for the space.

DC Sonic - Earth 3 / Anti Mobius

Sonic / Flash counterpart would be Scourge / Johnny Quick. Being more like Evil Sonic instead of scourge he would be more of a basic bully and impulsively following his own whims.

Tails / Cyborg counterpart would be Miles Prower / Grid. After deconstructing Dr. Kintobor's technology he would finally be able to overpower his bullies. From there he would start incorporating it into himself, becoming obsessed with power and joining the Crime Syndicate for a chance to try and manipulate them.

Knuckles / Superman counterpart would be O'Nux / Ultraman. The echidna's Society along with the Master Emerald would have been destroyed, being the last survivor he would hunt down the shards of the Master Emerald to empower himself.

Amy Rose / Wonder Woman counterpart from the previous pattern should be Rosie The Rascal / Superwoman. This won't work though since Lois Lane is superwoman and not Diana Prince in most versions of Earth 3. Not to mention given superwoman's love triangle with Owlman and Ultraman it makes more sense for it to be Rogue The Bat / Superwoman. Given Rosie The Rascal backstory it would actually make more sense for her to be a twisted version of Mary Marvel.

Silver / Green Lantern only having a DC counterpart in Power Ring without a direct counterpart on Anti Mobius. From the Power Rings origin now it may have been given to him by his universe's version of Blaze. Instead having the spirit of Volthoom inside the ring it would have Mephiles who would have pushed him to travel back in time.

Shadow / Batman only having a DC counterpart in Owlman without a direct counterpart on Anti Mobius. Owlman is not actually Bruce Wayne he is Thomas Wayne Jr, Bruce's secret older brother. Shadow does have an older relation that was kept secret as well, the Biolizard. The silver of the outfit would be his life support along with armor. Instead of being too dangerous to contain he would have stayed under control long enough to kill everyone on the Ark before descending the Earth.

What if charlie and alastor grew up togethr ?

For that to happen, Lucifer would have had to know about Alastor from the beginning*. I don't think he would have taken Alastor away from Nicaise, and she wouldn't have wanted to live in Hell, even if it did mean living in luxury. The guilt and the feelings of betrayal are still there - it certainly doesn't help his crumbling relationship with Lilith - but Lucifer wants to keep an eye on his friend and their child. So he peeks in on them on Earth, occasionally pops in to grant a couple small miracles or gifts. Never staying long just in case Heaven catches on.

Then Nicaise is murdered by her employer. And there is no way in hell that Lucifer is allowing that fucking piece of shit to keep her child! Lucifer books it over as soon as he can and finds Alastor sleeping in a shed and, oh, he is not happy. He doesn't kill Nicaise's murderer. It's enough to flash his wings, horns out, spitting flames as he informs the man that Hell is real and he's bound to it before disappearing with Alastor**.

So now, in just the span of a few days, Alastor: has witnessed his mother's violent murder, has been effectively kidnapped by her murderer, was forced to sleep in a shed that smells like dogs, found out that angels and demons are real and that his father is one, has been whisked away to live in another world that transforms him into a monster as soon as he enters it, and is now expected to get used to living with his mysterious father as well as a new step-mother and half-sister. Needless to say, it's a lot.

So naturally, he's a bit shaken when he first arrives in the Morningstar household. He doesn't speak and spends most of his time shut up in his new room which is way bigger than his old house was. Lucifer's awkwardly trying to balance giving him the space he needs and make him feel welcome. Lilith isn't terribly thrilled with the situation, but... Well, she seems to have a lot of compassion for her people. I don't think she would really turn out a traumatized child, but she's definitely going through some complicated emotions of her own.

Charlie has none of the reservations the grown ups have. In fact, she's suuuuuuuuuuper excited to meet her new little brother! Even if he doesn't look that much littler than her***. So she slips into his room, tries to drag him out of bed, pesters him, and generally just acts like an excitable, friendly child. As much as Lucifer and Lilith try to get her to give Alastor space and time to adjust, she keeps coming back. Her little brother looks so sad and she doesn't want him to be sad! She wants to help him feel happy!

She remains persistent, telling Alastor all about her home and family and insisting that he'll like it soon because her mom and dad are really nice and she loves him already and he'll love it there in Hell and...

She stops as she sees the tears start to roll down Alastor's face. Charlie begins to panic, thinking she's said something mean by accident, but then Alastor sobs out that he misses his maman and just wants to go home! Suddenly Charlie feels really bad. She doesn't know how to make things better. So she just stays. Sits next to him. Doesn't leave him alone. Sheds a few tears of her own.

Once Alastor's cried it out and tired himself out a bit, Charlie asks him what his mom was like. They spend all night talking about her. When Lucifer goes to check in on Alastor later, he finds both kids passed out on the floor in a pile of blankets.

It's still rough going from there on out, but Charlie plays a large part in helping Alastor heal after everything. Some things still stay the same. Lucifer and Lilith's marriage still struggles, she disappears, Lucifer pulls away from now both of his children in his depression. And Alastor still has a lot of anger. He doesn't really agree with Charlie's goal of redeeming sinners because he fully believes that some people just aren't worth redeeming.

Still, he goes with her whenever she searches for injured sinners after the exterminations. He and Vaggie actually get along a bit better here. They still snipe at each other quite a bit, but there's an almost friendly undercurrent to it. And although he doesn't really believe in the goal of redeeming sinners, he does go along with the Happy Hotel project just to help Charlie out. Doesn't stop him from mocking the idea every step of the way.

This version of Alastor hasn't really developed the Radio Demon persona. He doesn't exactly need to, given he's the Prince of Hell. But he's still Alastor and still cultivates a terrifying reputation for himself. Charlie's grown up with this Alastor though and knows the man behind the curtain. She's not always happy with how quick he is to suggest violence as a solution, but she also knows that when he sees a weaker demon being preyed upon by stronger ones, he'll step in.

He's also protective of Charlie, and usually takes it upon himself to step in and do things that he sees as necessary but he knows she wouldn't like. For example, after finding out how Valentino treated her when she went to the studio, Alastor pays his own visit in private and makes sure Valentino knows if he tries to pull any shit like that again, Alastor will pick apart his soul piece by wretched piece and scatter it across all the rings of hell. Charlie knows he did something when the next time she sees Valentino, the pimp screams bloody murder and throws himself out the nearest window.

(*Just imagine Lucifer, wings out, attempting to drunkenly climb out of Nicaise's window, only to get stuck, give up, and slump over on the floor.)

(**The old bastard spends the rest of his life donating his wealth to build orphanages and hospitals, helping the poor, and basically trying to buy his way into Heaven. It doesn't work and he's slaughtered during his first extermination in hell.)

(***Charlie at this point should be roughly a century old, but to be honest, I'm not entirely sure what that means for a half-angel half-demon like her. Did she age at a typical human rate until she reached young adulthood and then just stopped? Or did she just age very very slowly? I'm going with the second for the sake of this AU. I also have this theory that Lilith never actually died, and was transformed into a unique sort of demon simply by entering primordial Hell. And something similar happens to young Alastor when Lucifer brings him home.)

I’ve been spending the past like hour looking at your page I love it sm! I have some questions :3 1. Does Rosie have a design in your au yet? I’d love to see her being actually super scary- 2. Do velvette and vox know how Val treats angel? 3. Where is angel’s brother. Just what is he doing in hell.

Just for you anon I have drawn Rosie incredibly quickly and she kind of looks like garbage but ive never drawn her before im so sorry

For any issues in this (a few I can already spot) I will be fixing when I work on her full body design 🙏 I like her original smile and hollow eyes but honestly sunken in eyes that are barely visible are a lot scarier to be so she gets that. Ive also considered making her blind but we’ll see if I go through with that (I would love to design her a really fancy white cane though… something with that umbrella it does things to me..)

As for Vox and Velvette, I don’t think Velvette is anywhere near as aware as Vox is. The majority of her knowledge is some horrible things have probably happened but she’s never seen it or explicitly gotten any confirmation her suspicions are true so she refrains from prying into it because it’s “not her problem” and finding out would make things more complicated for her image and work, though she absolutely does hat Valentino and is 100% okay with killing him and has discussed kicking him out with Vox multiple times, however they have yet to settle on this.

Vox is definitely aware of what Valentino does but doesn’t actively engage himself in it aside from very sparse talks with Angel on set that usually involves Angel becoming irritable or jittery in Vox’s presence. Vox does detest Valentino’s behaviour and treatment of Angel and will frequently roll his eyes at the mention of Angel since in his mind “its always something with him” and by now any complaints Valentino has about Angel get filtered out after so many years of hearing the most mundane things Valentino is upset about. (ie. Angel moving even though he didn’t live with Valentino to begin with) Even though he heavily disapproves of what Valentino does he still turns a blind eye to it and leaves Angel with little to no help, only ever giving him a few words of advice or a brief warning if Valentino is in a bad mood that day.

Velvette is also unaware of Vox and Valentino’s actual situation as well as basically everyone else. On the surface they come off as “friends with benefits” however Vox is in a (very loosely) similar situation to Angel. Valentino will make similar threats and statements to Vox as he does Angel and currently, Vox doesn’t realise that Valentino is exploiting him. As of now, he hasn’t processed “I don’t actually want to be doing this” or “I am uncomfortable in this situation”. He is still suffering the effects of an abusive work relationship since Valentino does still hit and yell at him, he just hasn’t processed the sexual aspect of what they do was pushed onto him unnaturally rather than him consenting to it openly. Hopefully this makes sense? If it doesn’t feel free to DM me about it or send in another ask and I can clarify more

Angel’s brother currently is still in the mafia and is mingling with crime as usual, however a decent few years ago he ended up gambling away +65% of the families earnings at Husk’s casino back when he was an overlord and ended getting himself stripped of all respect and ranking and is currently attempting to repay his family and work his way back up while trying not to get killed. He is also vaguely homophobic still but has become more tolerant of it after being around and meeting more people. He definitely doesn’t think its “natural” but he knows when to keep his mouth shut and will probably understand more about it someday. Not anytime soon though. He also hasn’t seen Angel for around 8-10 years now and by seen I really just mean yelled at him from across the street and then got a brick thrown at him probably
