I’m not mad about the polyamory (I would like to stress this point for anyone who wants to come after me for this post), I’m mad that Jughead Jones, one of, like, the two aroace characters in media people have actually maybe heard of (the other being Yelena Belova) is part of this romantic, sexual relationship.

Barbie (2023) is like Riverdale: Aesthetically very pleasing, but a total fucking insult to the characters, the brand, and the true fans.

Honestly, if any character deserves to die not in another parallel universe, possibly in the 50s, and never came back to life. Everyone forgot about him including the bear would be Archie.

The writers get their heroic ending. The hero, in their eyes, is dead. The other characters rejoice because he is the worst, and they must keep making him feel good afraid to bruise his ego. Now they can drop the act breathe, and get back to normal, for Archiekins is dead.

The girls are happy because whatever potion he bought from Cheryl to be the Stepford wives around him is broken, but Cheryl will say it was her Momsy.

Uncle Frank, god, he can die too. I don't count him as a main, though. If anything, it will be Midge dying in childbirth from having Fangs baby, so Toni and Fangs decide to raise it.

I'd say let it be Alice and Archie, either one, but knowing these writers, we can't bet on that.

I'd say Jughead he'd always sacrifice himself for his friends, but you know what? He deserves to live to thrive, and he's done it enough, but if he needs to, he will, and he'll be okay with never coming back, no matter the time frame. However, if he finally finds love and it works, and they kill him or his lover, that's just cruel. Would the writers do this to Jughead? Absolutely.

I’m late but it’s aggravating to find out that Riverdale talked about Emmett Till without ever examining the gross implications of having Cheryl frame Chuck for stalking without any real consequences and all the implications of that. Or why it was gross to frame Betty nearly killing Chuck as a girl power moment. You can’t do right by the Black characters you’ve brutalized for your lame ass plots but think you have the bandwidth to discuss a lynching!?!?!?!

Jughead + Tabitha (Jughead should've been aroace but if he has to be in a relationship, it should be Jabitha)

I am watching Alex Meyer´s video of Riverdale and i knew this show was non sense, a trash but...what the fuck?

Like i am sorry if i am out of line and people actually liked how they handled it and you can tell me to go fuck myself if thats the case, but grabbing a real life case of murder and putting all of your actors of color in a room for this plot line ...on a series that is not about it, is about whaetver the hell riverdale is now but it seem tone clashing and just, not right honestly; a little sickening that they are using that to grab people´s attention.

Again, maybe i am messing with something that i shouldn't but, it feels like the writers are pulling a "we are not racist, look, we are making an episode about this very horrible significant event and we are discussing how wrong it was" in a series that never has taken anything seriously ever. Maybe i am overreacting but it seems like a new low ever for them
