Anna Klindt Sørensen (August 9, 1899 - 1985) was a Danish artist who attended Kunstskolen for Kvinder at the Royal Academy but quit in protest over an appointment of a new professor. She instead finished her education in Paris at various academies, including those of Fernand Léger and André Lhote.
Klindt Sørensen was an Expressionist, and a member of Decembristerne from 1942. She specialized in portraits and monumental landscape paintings inspired by Southern Europe. She campaigned eagerly for equality for women artists and wanted to create a women’s art museum in her villa in Ry - but failed...
Above, a view from her villa: Enghavevej i Ry - udsigt til genboen, 1959-1961 - oil on canvas (Anna Klindt Sørensens Fond)

Women’s hockey news round up: May 8-19
Note that I don’t cover every transaction with this and try just to keep to the most “notable,” and also miss some things. There’s also some news that doesn’t have English sources and I do mg best to translate - if I messed up lmk!
PWHL (USA/Canada)
Head coach Howie Draper parts ways with PWHL New York and heads back to university of Alberta, but will still be an advisor
Abigail Boreen will not be available for PWHL Minnesota this finals, as she was a reserve player and they can only sign for one playoff series
Bauer will be the official jersey partner for 2025
Notable draft declarations: Klará Peslarová (confirmed), Anna Meixner (confirmed), Noemi Neubauerová (confirmed), Lottie Odnoga (confirmed - her SDHL contract has an opt out clause), Laura Kluge (rumored), Amanda kessel (rumored)
Forward of the year nominees: Alex carpenter, Marie-Philip Poulin, Natalie Spooner
Coach of the year nominees: Kori Cheverie (MTL), Courtney Kessel (BOS) & Troy Ryan (TOR)
Rookie of the year Alina Müller, Emma Maltais, and Grace Zumwinkle
Defender of the year, goalie of the year, and MVP finalists TBA
SDHL (Sweden)
(Important to note, for all contracts for SDHL and the other following leagues here I am unsure if they include opt out clauses for the PWHL unless stated otherwise)
Core players Mathea Fischers and Kayleigh Hamers extend with SDE
Danish national team head coach Mikkel Ry Nielsen was hired by Skellefteå AIK
Long time SDHL defender and Swedish national team player Linnéa Andersson extends with MoDo Hockey
18 year old Finnish national team star Sanni Vanhanen joins Brynäs after playing the last few years in Finland
Danish national team star who’s played in Sweden for some past seasons, Nicoline Söndergaard Jensen, joins Skellefteå AIK
Finnish national team center Jenniina Nylund returns to Brynäs
Naisten Liiga (Finland)
League announced that Next year, semifinals and finals will be best of seven instead of best of five
HIFK goaltender Kiia Lahtinen departs to play for university of Maine
Emma and Lida Lappalainen, sisters who played together in Roki and on the Finnish u18 team, are headed to HIFK
16 year old Italian forward, who played on both italys u18 team and senior team last year, Manuela Heidenberger, is headed to HPK
National team goaltender Anni Keisala returns to the league after playing in Sweden last year, now joining HPK
SWHL A/ Postfinance Women League (Switzerland)
Three Solid USports players join HC Davos Ladies: Elizabeth Lang, Courtney Kollman, and Joelle Fiala
HC Davos is also parting ways with their coach, Andrea Kröni, who plans to still have other involvement in the organization
Not May news, but I believe I missed it in my April round up and it’s important to note - HC Ladies Lugano has officially folded. They folded last year, were able to revive for a bit, then ran out of money. Truly heartbreaking, they were one of the most successful on ice teams in the SWHL’s history

7 | Christmas Bam
Series: Odds Together
Paring: Ryan Dunn x OFC Margera!
Word Count: 1.5k
Warnings: None
| MASTERLIST |
~
"What you doing?" Ryan opens my door to my room as I sat on my bed watching a holiday movie.
"What does it look like Dunn?" I whine never getting time alone.
"Do you want to come help or watch everyone put up Christmas decorations?" He gives me a smile shimming his shoulder.
"Why not. Let me change and I'll meet you outside." I sigh getting out of bed making him leave all happy.
"All these get duct taped to the house." I hear Tim tells the group.
"Duct tape?" I join them carefully standing by Ryan as he holds an axe. "What do you even need that for?" I look at him.
He shrugs his shoulders, "I can't just hold it?" He chuckles so I shake my head no. "Fine, I'll put it away." He does exactly that.
"Nice for you to join us for once." Rabb comes up next to me.
"Ryan asked nicely so here I am."
"Ryan you actually got her to come out here? I'm impressed." Rabb laughs as Ryan walks back so he shoves him back. I move out of the way so he trips back and falls in the containers. "That was fucked up dude." He laughs.
"Let's just decorate." I go towards the truck to help out for awhile till I was done with what I was helping with.
"Look what I found." Rabb shows up with a mistletoe holding it up so I run away. "Anna, come on! One little kiss." I hear him shout while chuckling.
"What it there speedy." Ryan laughs as I run into him inside the house.
"Sorry. Rabb found a mistletoe and wants a little kiss." I look behind me to make sure he wasn't nearby.
"I'll keep you safe for him." He moves me behind him as Rabb comes in. "You want a little kiss? Come here." Ryan puckers his lips making Rabb toss the mistletoe aside.
"I'm good." He goes to where Bam was in the kitchen with our dad.
"You're a lifesaver, Ry." I go pick up the mistletoe so Rabb can't get it later to try again.
"Anytime." He goes to the kitchen as well while I go find my mother.
We both talk about how annoying Bam is but she appreciates how he's decorating for Christmas and she doesn't have to this time. "I'm so glad you're back home." She gives me a big hug. "I really am. I have my baby back."
"I thought your baby was Bam."
"But you're my baby baby." She lets go of me as the guys install the fake ice and she goes to the kitchen.
I see Dunn doing snow angels so I walk over bending down beside him, "You know even on real ice you can't make snow angels. Hints why they're called Snow Angels." I laugh at him as he lays there looking at me.
"You're such a party pooper. You know that right?"
"I know." I smile standing back up so he puts his arms up so I can pull him up. "I'm gonna head to my room before the other people Bam invited over gets here." I turn to head for the stairs but Ryan spins me back to face him.
"Why do you always just go off to be alone?"
"I like to be alone." I laugh. "It's pretty simple and obvious. I'm just not one of gatherings. I helped decorate like you asked me... I'm done down so I'm clocking out."
"Fine, if you wanna we that way."
"I do. Bye bye." I pat his cheek leaving to go to my room.
"You're missing out on all the fun." Ryan opens my door.
"I'm gonna need to get a lock because of you. You know, Dunn, you come into my room to bug me more than my brother does."
"I just also wanted to add we're about to cover the house in snow." He gives me a look maki g me jump out of bed and rush past him to go outside.
While Bam and Ryan go to hold the hose to spread the ice, Rabb, Dico, and I play in the snow. Ryan hold the hose to spay all the snow in me so I start to throw snow balls at him and the guys join me.
"Your aim is good." Ryan joins me as I stand off to the side taking a break. "Hit me in the dick twice." He says making me laugh.
"That's good because I couldn't see shot while you blasted snow at me." I laugh before Ryan leaves me to help Rake with ammo.
I rejoin the snowball fight and even mom ends up joining making her Bam's target. Suddenly I get hit in the ass with one causing me to turn around and see Ryan smiling. I stare at him before chasing him around and we do this back and forth playing around. While running around Ryan trips on something doing down so I go attack him.
"Timeout." He whines.
"No timeouts you baby." I stop anyways then get knocked down as he trips me. "You're an ass." I lay next to him before getting up with him.
"Draw?" He puts his hand out.
"Fine." We shake on it.
Seeing the pay off was good but when they brought out the big sky lights was too much. "I don't think this is legal." I tell Ryan.
"He can pay for the ticket." Ryan says back as we look at the lights.
"Privilege." I shake my head.
"I had fun today and I'm glad you had fun too." Ryan says as we walk back towards the house.
"Who said I had fun? I could have been acting for the cameras."
"I know you weren't though because you haven't in the past so why would you suddenly now." He says as we get inside while everyone was outside.
"You know me so well Dunn." I spin around on the fake ice floor fast.
"Why was the mistletoe in you jacket pocket?" Ryan picks it up after it fell out.
"Didn't want Rabb getting it again."
"Well I have it now." He holds it up chuckling walking towards me then stops in front of me.
"Okay and?" I raise an eyebrow.
"Where's my little kiss?" He asks so I kiss him on the cheek.
"That's all your getting from me buddy. The other Margera twin will kiss you in the lips." I smile heading towards my room done for the night.
It was pretty late and everyone was as still outside having fun while laid in my dark room but I got bored so I put some sweats on and a jacket heading downstairs. I see the crew filming three ice fishing making me shake my head watching them.
"You hungry? I know I'm hungry. I may be speaking for myself here but this is getting here god damn ridiculous." Ryan tells Vito making me silently laugh and more as he starts to whistle to the ice. "Vito bite! Vito bite. Bite Vito. Come on! Just bite that line!" He holds the fishing pole out at him.
"You might need a better pole to reel Vito in that little thing isn't going to do shit." I speak up.
"She's right." Vito gets up leaving the room so Ryan stops and comes over to me.
"I thought you went to bed?"
"I got bored." I shiver as a gust of wind hits me as the door was open so Ryan puts his hat on my head.
"The hat isn't going to do much but thank you. You catch any fish?" I look over at the fake ice hole.
"Not yet. Vito was scaring them away." He goes to sit back on his bunk alone. He ends up motioning for me to come over so I take Vito's old seat. "A beer?" Ryan holds one out to me so I take it.
"So what's your trick to catch your fish?" I play along with him even though it was just the two of us in the room.
"Sing and they will come." He says making me laugh.
"You don't scare them away with your singing? I'm surprise."
"Watch this." He starts to try to do opera then acts like he catch a fish. "Oh, it's a big one." He starts to reel it in acting like he caught a big fish. "Look at this bad boy." He holds up his fish.
"You proved me working Fisherman Dunn. That's a huge boy." I laugh with him drinking my beer. "All jokes aside thank you." I tell him.
"For what?"
"Always trying to get me to take part in things to have fun. Like said earlier, I had fun today. Since being back home you've made so things fun and enjoyable for me. Even when it doesn't seem like it." I tell him truthfully.
"I glad to do so. You're welcomed. I'm happy your back. I missed you a lot and I never told anyone that."
I scoot closer to him and give him a hug, "I missed you you."

4 conferences in 10 days…..
After a weekend of rest, I have taken a moment to reflect on what has been an intense yet rewarding few weeks, attending four different conferences back-to-back across two countries: IndieDevDay in Barcelona, Leadership Day by IGDA Finland, Pocket Gamer Connects Helsinki, and W Love Games.
This year was especially significant as W Love Games had a booth at IndieDevDay, shared with IGDA, where we introduced the WLG Indie Alliance and upcoming programs for indie developers. The energy was absolutely incredible with three days of insightful talks, countless indie games on display, and valuable discussions with peers from across the industry. I was honoured to host a panel featuring amazing women in the industry - Anna Guxens, Elena Flores and Suzanne Freyjadis, and participate in another panel alongside Carolina Bonnin, Eulalia García and Alexandra Vo.
With little time to catch our breath, we headed back to Helsinki to prepare for Finnish Games Week—a brand-new event in the Finnish gaming scene that has been years in the making. But what exactly is Finnish Games Week?
Finnish Games Week: A Milestone for the Nordic Games Industry
As the Chairperson of W Love Games and Lead Organizer of this event, I am incredibly proud of our team initiating the first-ever Finnish Games Week. Our vision was to create an event that would provide a variety of opportunities for game developers, whether they were looking to advance their businesses or grow individually within their careers. To achieve this, we collaborated with IGDA Finland and Steel Media, merging three of Finland's major gaming events into a single, impactful week.
The result? A carefully curated, five-day program designed to meet the diverse needs of developers, creators, and professionals across the gaming industry. Finnish Games Week kicked off with Leadership Day by IGDA Finland, aimed at industry professionals and future leaders. It was here that many meaningful connections were made, laying the foundation for what would be an incredibly successful week. Following that, Pocket Gamer Connects Helsinki took the spotlight for the next two days, offering a business-centric focus with networking opportunities for companies looking to grow in the global market. Finally, we wrapped up the week with W Love Games—a hybrid event that saw over 1k participants worldwide. This final event was all about a dev-to-dev approach, offering talks, workshops, and mentorship designed to provide practical knowledge in a safe and inclusive space for developers to share their stories and expertise.
What is next?
I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved with Finnish Games Week, and we would not be able to do so without our team of volunteers, speakers, workshop facilitators, mentors, partners and sponsors. Big shoutout to Supercell, MiTale, Suomen pelinkehittäjät ry, Metaplay, Fingersoft, Game Makers of Finland, IGDA Finland, Brazil Embassy in Helsinki. The response has been overwhelming, and we are already starting the preparations for Finnish Games Week 2025. If you would like to get involved or host a side event, don’t hesitate to reach out—we are open to new ideas and collaborations!
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make this week a success. Finnish Games Week is just the beginning, and I cannot wait to see what the future holds as we continue to grow this incredible community. Stay tuned for the 2025 announcements and upcoming plans! (These awesome friendship-bracelets were made at W Love Games party hosted by Supercell, big thanks to their team for making such a memorable evening! 💜)

“Dzieje grzechu”
Teatr: Narodowy Stary Teatr w Krakowie
W Narodowym Starym Teatrze do świata „Dziejów grzechu” zapraszają nas Iga Gańczarczyk i Wojtek Rodak (odpowiedzialni kolejno za scenariusz i reżyserię).
Karolina Staniec jako najmłodsza wersja bohaterki wyciska ogromny komizm z jej zachowań podlotka – emfazę i uniesienie każdym możliwym zalotnym spojrzeniem Łukasza.

Halloweenathon:Vault of Horror
Today we look at a film based on Vault of Horror, the comics from the 50's....Not really,it just takes the title, and the stories actually come from Tales From the Crypt, but still
In this 1973 film 5 men enter a lounge and recount their nightmares
SO this films is based on EC comics and is a follow up to Amicus other EC comics adaptation Tales from the Crypt .Ive never read the comics but have seen thye previous film ,whichj ios a personal favorite of mine (And of course I have seen a few episodes of the TV show from the 80's and 90's and all three film connected to said series).Vault of Horror is a good movie and a good anthology .I dont think its as good as its predecessor Tales from the Crypt but it is an ejnoyable film
I will rank the segments from least fave to most fave
5.Bargain in Death -Lamest segment ,just a guy rying to fake his death for insurance and I found it boring, its the only dud in the movie
4.Midnight Mess -Guy goes to a mysterious town to kill his sister for inheretance ,unaware that its dangerous to be out atr night .This ones fine ,the twist is fun but its just funny how the brother is so upfront hin his murderous intentions .Fun fact the brother ands sister are played by actual siblings Daniel Massey and Anna Massey ,whose dad is Raymond MAssey AKA Johnathan Brewster from the macarbre comedy Arsenic and Old Lace ,so thats fun
3.This Trick Will kill you -A magician and his wife set out to steal a magic trick from a woman in India .Fun of this one is really Curd Jurgens and Dawn Addams as the villianous couple
2.The Neat Job -A man obsessed with neatness and order is constantly getting on the case of his new wife .Less horror (Till the end) and more classic dark comedy ,with it getting so high due to the punchline and the great performances of Terry-Thomas and Glynis Johns
1.Drawn and Quartered:An artist uses voodoo to enact revenge on those who wronged him .I love the idea of whatever the artist paints happening but really what sells this segment is a pre Doctor Who Tom Baker as the artist,he just has such a sinister quality
Overall reccomend this movie ,its reallly spooky fun
