Last week I dropped the Ultimate Homestuck Recap that summarized the webcomic that once dominated the internet, particularly Tumblr.

Today I bring you what it was all for, a video essay called Homestuck Is Good, Actually.

Im not sure why people on the tags are freaking out. I have galeophobia (fear of sharks) and while this slightly triggers it, I’ve done a lot of work to remember sharks DONT GIVE A SHIT ABOUT HUMANS. If anything, this video proves that. “Weird thing with thumbs is trying to hold my hand… okay whatever.” As another commenter posted, a majority of shark attacks come when sharks mistake surfers for seals. Then they usually bite once and let go because humans don’t taste as good as seals.

There is a part of my brain instinctively scared of sharks, which is okay BUT. I also have a logical part of my brain that knows Jaws is a lie and sharks are not malicious creatures. They are an integral part of their ecosystem. I love you sharks. Don’t come near me tho.
