So i remember an ask mentioning your mortal enemy, Felis Atra and their cats, and i thought it'd be fun to draw what Felis Atra's version of your italian dogs would be.

I think they would be called Butter Knife and Flamengo! Butter Knife is not his real name, it's an nickname given by his peers because of how harmless he is. I choose Flamengo because that's the name of Vasco's rival football team here in Brazil, so i thought that was the perfect name :)

Cat Machete was slightly inspired by the Oriental Shorthair cat because of their long noses and thin head shape.

Cat Vasco was inspired by the Scottish Fold cat, because FLOPPY EARS. I gave Flamengo longer ears and orange fur to make him more like his look-alike.

The last doodle is a reference to this ask (https://canisalbus.tumblr.com/post/728923918314946560/me-i-am-machete-ear-fan-number-1-those-ears) and contains the tumblr ask stand-in dog, whose cat version was inspired by the American Curl cat! They have round ears that are slightly floppy outwards.

Final notes: I know cardinal clothes don't come in vibrant blue, but i was ADAMANT on switching Machete's and Vasco's clothing color patterns. I would draw the rest of Butter Knife's and Flamengo's clothes, but i suck at designing cool outfits.

Speaking of outfits, for Machete's iconic void outfit, i figured it would be fun to make it more baggy for Butter Knife, in contrast to Machete's, that looks very tight-fitted. I think it's cute, it kinda looks like a sweater. Also i can't imagine a Machete doppelganger without high heels boots, so those HAD to stay.

Oh, and just to be clear, i'm not like, claiming ownership of these guys or anything. I just thought it would be a fun exercise. Hope you like them!! I love your art and your characters.

🔥 Happy Bowser's Day!! 🔥

I litterally discovered there was a Bowser Day this EVENING and I had to SPEEDRUN-

Btw I'll drop down here some fun facts about personal headcanon for Bowser's species and why I drew him lion/cat-like :3 ↓↓↓↓

I want to make a full post abt it one day, but for now hear me out: I'm quite convinced Bowser's species maybe be based on a French Tarasque (and probably also on Alligator Snapping Turtles and I also think Kappa from Japanese Mythology?). From my limited knowledge, Tarasques are creatures from French Mythology and Folklore that resemble a mix of a lion and bear with six limbs and a spiked turtle-like shell covered in spikes; they also have a serpentine tail and a poisonous breath (I gathered these informations from my very old book How to Raise and Keep a Dragon and from the Wiki, so feel free to correct me or add details ^^')

In my personal SMB Headcanon, Bowser's species is commonly known as "Royal Koopas" or "Dragon-Turtles", but its proper name is "Tarrasquin". They are both related to Koopas and Dragons and are often considered a specific subspecies of the latter. They do mix characteristic from Koopas/Turtles and Dragons, such as the carapace and the ability to retreat inside it (but NOT to take it off, in my Headcanon at least) and fire, horns and claws. But they also have some feline-like features, being based on Tarasques, such as their cat-like muzzles, their big paws and *maybe* some occasional cat or big-cat behaveours, such as... purring!

(I know lions themeselves can't actually purr like small cats do, but shhhh-)

Holy shit! I was right? 😲 Honestly, my first thought was Agent Whiskey 🤣, but it just didn't feel right so Javier was my second guess haha.

Ok, onto my feedback for this lovely story. I'm writing this up as I read, so it's going to be a long one my love. Sorry in advance for that. 🥰

Fantastic start with Javier. I love how he's seeking comfort and release through her, but smart enough to keep his emotional feelings out of it for both his safety and hers. That's reasonable, and I would expect Javier - in his dangerous line of work - to not let her get too close for unwanted eyes to see and possibly use against him. Very smart of him (you😊). The way they greet each other is just so sweet as well. Sweet and sexy. Their greeting makes me feel the emotions they're feeling for each other. It's subtle, but strong, and I like that.

Oh, but then here comes Comandante Veracruz!! The way you introduced him made my stomach flutter. Veracruz saying “Hola, Agente Peña,” before standing up to look at him, challenging him?! Ah, I love it. Everything about this interaction so far is making my smile grow bigger and bigger. I like how they're both there for her. ���

Ooooof! Jey?? 😲 "You stay the fuck away from her." I can feel the emphasises you're adding onto the word fuck. I can see Javier in my mind, the scowl, the clenched jaw, the intensity in his eyes and the conviction in his words!!! I'm sorry, getting a lil excited lmao. There's something about two guys fighting over a lady in this way that is just so hot to me. 🤤Yes, yes, and yes! This is why I like it so much because when she stood in between them both, she's feeling that proximity of Veracruz and Javier. Just a little sample of what it feels like to have them both pressed up against her. 😏

Oh man. The conversation she's having with Javier after this point is so sweet! The tenderness in his voice, just like you wrote, I can feel it and it's so nice. Making me melt like butter. 🥺 Then Veracruz steps in, not ruining the moment at all or in the slightest, but instead, making the situation better with his kisses that just sparks the best idea!

Jey, as a reader, we know what's going to happen because of the warnings and the pairings up top, but it's the delivery that counts and you, my love, have set this up and delivered us a sexy threesome in such a good way. The writing, the tension, the build-up, everything up to this point is just spot on. We know what's going to happen, but it still feels so exciting because of the way you've wrote it. I love it!

I really like Veracruz. I like the way you're writing him. (I do believe this is my first time reading for him too). "Since I was here first, I'm going to fuck her first." Ohhhh, I love it. *Ahem* somethings definetly purring *Ahem*. Yeah, I am really liking Veracruz. I like the cockiness in his personality, I like how he recognises Javier is enjoying this experience and calls him out on it.

Jey what are you doing to me??? 😭 I feel so naughty lmao, and I love it! It's Veracruz again, the way you're writing him. This whole paragraph right here -> “But even more delicious,” Veracruz groaned as he stroked his cock a few times before lining himself up with your entrance, “Is when you enter her for the first time…” 😈😈😈

YES. 🙏 As expected, the sex is just incredible. Javier and Veracruz fucking her just matches the tension and feral energy in the room. Their climax was hot and sexy, then the switch to Javier was so smooth and beautiful. I love how you wrote Veracruz watching them, then trying to tell Javier what to do. The tension between them both is still there, but they're more focused on her and I love that.

Also, when Javier wiped away the evidence of Veracruz's release? Oohh my god. So fucking good! 👏👏 And this too!! “So good for me,” Veracruz mocked Javier, and his eyes darted up to make sure he knew it. I love how they're going back and forth with each other in the middle of having sex, but not letting it interfere with showing her a good time.

The last conversation between Javier and Veracruz was everything. It gives me hope that they could find common ground because of her. But I don't know if I'm naive to think that. Again, I've never read anything for Veracruz before. I mean, the guy grabbed the pack of cigarettes for Javier, that's gotta be something. A start maybe. Or maybe nothing at all. Either way, this story was fabulous. And I really, really like how you stared it off with Javier, then ended it with Javier. He's so sweet, gentle and passionate here with her.

Javier Peña was exhausted. Physically, he couldn’t remember the last time he had a decent night’s sleep. Mentally, he was frustrated that a certain arms dealer he had been after for months slipped past his grip once again. Emotionally, he needed a release. 

And that was what led him to your door time and time again. 

Javier sighed to himself as he stared at the familiar doorway and knocked three times. He knew every little crack in the plain door to your apartment, and he could tell you were on the other side by the familiar rustling and step pattern. You were a comfort to Javier, and there was something about you that drew him back over and over again.

He kept that to himself, though. It was just sex, just a release. He didn’t want to complicate things by bringing emotions and feelings into your relationship. And he certainly never wanted to put you in any danger by getting more involved with you. What if the wrong person found out who you were and tried to use you against him? Javier couldn’t live with himself if you were ever hurt and it was his fault.

All his thoughts were pushed out though when you finally opened the door and Javier looked deep into your eyes.
