I’ve decided to mess with you little bit like Solarion messes with people lol, so plot twist- Solarion is girl, I know, shocking- her real name is K… yes just K (I wanted to call her so me really long complicated name… but I find it quite interesting having only one letter as name)

She uses voicechanger bc she knows that people will take her more seriously as male vigilante than if they knew the truth, but she also does that to protect herself and her identity… Of course spidey team doesn’t know about her true identity and neither does S.H.I.E.L.D. ... It’s really hard to track her down bc everyone is convinced that Solarion is a man, but also bc she no longer has family nor friends, she dropped out of highschool and she doesn’t do nearly anything else besides vigilante stuff (maybe she sometimes goes clubbing at night to lose some steam)

I kinda think she is not American (well bc I’m not too lol so you have to deal with it now), she is from somewhere in Europe (haven’t decided from where yet, but when I will write someday about her origin story I will definitely mention it so stay tuned)… after one incident she had nothing left to lose so she moved to New York to fight villains and help people (she needed to find some meaning to her life)… she became masked vigilante named Solarion and quickly became really popular amongst people (you can read more about that stuff in my previous post)

Ofc Spidey team is not happy about Solarion, he sometimes get to places faster than them and defeat villain before they even arrive, so naturally they sees him as competition (I write him bc they think she is man, I know it’s bit confusing), but lot of times he is very cooperative and helps them in fights and on the other hand they often save his ass from getting beaten too, but still they don’t like much each other mainly because how unserious and reckless he can be, because of his double meaning jokes, but also bc of how well he can connect with regular people (lot of people root for him)

I already wrote about Solarions relationship with Spidey and Nick Fury in my last post about him but here are some headcanons and stuff about him and other characters:

1. Nova really despises Solarion, mainly because of how he constantly humiliates him, but also he is bit jealous of Solarions popularity amongst young people, how they adore him or how they copy his style… Nova always pokes fun about Solarions outfits like “nice outfit, did you find it in dumpster” but secretly he is just bit salty about that he didn’t came up with that idea before Solarion… also I think he once tried to wear regular clothes over his hero suit but got memed on social media so bad (or called Solarion fanboy or wannabe) that he never did it again… they make fun of each other all the time, but that doesn’t stop fangirls from shipping them (Nova hates it, Solarion loves it lol)

2. Powerman doen’t really get how others can be so annoyed with Solarion, he knows that Solarion likes to rage bait them and always tells Nova to just ignore him and focus on mission (nova never listens), he actually doesn’t mind him that much as long as he helps them and actually thinks that Spidey and Solarion are not that different maybe because how they both manage to joke in most inappropriate situations… also at some point he starts calling Solarion bro (Solarion is so happy about it and tries to hide it, but sometimes that spark of joy is way to visible) and he calls him bro back ofc

3. White tiger also despises him, mainly because Solarion jokingly flirts with her and calls her kitty, she finds it disgusting (for Solarion it is mostly just a cover to hide his identity, although he really likes how she looks while fighting, bi curiosity lol)… she hates how arrogant he can be, whenever he smirks at her during fight she gets irrationally annoyed but doesn’t know why… out of everyone Ava is most suspicious about his identity, something about his movements and mannerism feels off, but she can’t put her finger on it

4. Iron fist never gets frustrated with Solarion’s sarcasm, he treats it like a puzzle rather than problem - he just observes him and tries to find some patters and reasons why Solarion might be like that… after listening to his rants he just tells him “you should try out meditation and finding some balance” and solarion answers “I am balanced - balanced between being super awesome and being super hot”, also Danny either really hates Solarions inappropriate jokes (mostly because his mind suppose to be stay pure and focused) or he doesn’t get them at all

So in nutshell they are not very happy about Solarion lol, although Peter is more sympathetic towards him than others… they sometimes hang out on rooftops for moment after long day and just talk for while… but this all is how things are before they find out Solarions true identity

Also I m so sorry for how poorly is this written but I just can’t do better today, but I swear I will write more stuff (and hopefully better stuff) in near future… hope you like my rant but also art :))))

Literary analysis for podcasts: my top tips

Recently some of my analysis posts have been getting notes again and it made me think that maybe I can share some advice with those of you who are interested in writing about similar things but feel hesitant to! I'm by no means an expert but I love writing and reading media analysis, and I'm sure some of you do too. This is primarily for social media and blogging, but some of it applies to academia too!

1. Know your media

This one's pretty obvious, but useful! Definitely write notes of your thoughts the first time you listen to a podcast, but if you're able to listen multiple times you can gain insight into what piques your interest again, and also what you missed the first time/s that other people might've missed too.

2. Know your audience

Engaging with the community of said media can add even more depth and interest to your writing and theories. Look at what people are already putting out there: what are their headcanons? What's controversial? What is nobody saying? There's always something new to be found, even if you're exploring a really popular aspect of the story.

3. Write for yourself

In my experience this is the most important thing. Even if you tailor your writing in a way you think will suit everyone, somebody will still disagree with you, so it's better to write what you think and feel (in a respectful and conciontious way) than to try and make everyone like it. There's always hate, but there's also always appreciators!

4. Don't undervalue transcripts

For some reason when I first started analyzing podcast content I was really against looking in the transcripts? I'm sure you're not, but either way make sure to read them if you can, there's often extra tidbits of information in them, and they can help you understand!

5. Sometimes how it was said can be even more interesting than the sentence itself

It can be so interesting to look into a voice actors choice; podcasts present the unique challenge of an audio only word, so phrasing can really make a difference and be interesting to analyse. It's also interesting to compare notable lines to the speech pattern an actor or character usually uses.

6. Sounds effects and audio design can be just as interesting as storylines

This is something really specific to audio dramas, as again they rely only on sound. I think it's easy to underestimate the difference that the sound design can make, but as it's something everyone interprets differently I find it a really juicy topic for analysis.

7. Have a look at the producer/creator's other work

This can be another really cool topic for analysis if you're interested in the maker themself! It can uncover common links in their work, introduce you to new media, and give you new perspectives on the media you started with! Also, as all of you creators will know, there's a chance they reused cut parts of your favourite podcast in another they made...

8. Be self indulgent...

I kind of already said this but I can't say it enough... Write about what you love, share your brainrot, share the weird little things you think (as long as they're appropriate to...). Just share your joy and it'll probably make other people happy too!

Hopefully some of this will be helpful! It's not all podcast specific, but it all certainly applies. And remember, if you think this is all really obvious, you may not be the target audience, but you can share it with someone who might be! And also, as always, please feel free to add your own tips in the tags!

open missions

Feel long and awkward with minimal dialogue, like a match in the dmz but more annoying especially if you’re trying to find all of the items. it gets quiet unless you’re in a fight.

not utilizing the dialogue system from alone and recon by fire. both missions were long but had the same sort of feeling, especially alone with the scanvenging. especially a big problem in highrise where price and gaz say NOTHING unless you go up or down a floor. it feels weird especially after recon by fire. should and could have been used for character building or smth fun.

too many of these in general. gora dam + precious cargo are REALLY good for open combat. highrise is fun and i love the level design, but gaz not having an ascender is WEIRD.

soap’s death

Feels off as a plot beat. I understand he died in the original mw3 but having him die in mwIII reads as just a shock effect of a game scripted too fast.

Price should have died instead, more below

the dialogue and reaction compared to the original mw3 and soap’s death is lackluster. minimal. it’s not emotional, it’s BORING. Price is screaming in mw3, where is that from him? where is that from ghost? where is that from gaz? Give me a cutscene after the bomb defusal of price scrambling up to soap with ghost sitting there looking away and gaz rushing the bomb in the background because look ok i have headcanons that would make this more understandable bear with me. give me them discussing where to send him. give me the ash scene where simon motherfucking riley can’t look at the ash because he got to know this bastard too well.

also talk about character assassination. the only reason ghost is loved and has character is because he played off of soap. now he’s gonna become that stony bastard in the background saying they should missile strike this and that. fuuuck.

Price and why he should die

survived original mw series as the only ’main’ person who didn’t die. less predictable.

has had a fakeout death in EVERY reboot game he has been in. his original introduction was a fakeout death (and recon by fire start is also one). him not waking up/realising it’s not a fakeout would have been a much more efficient and interesting plot point. Rule of three.

him dying is a chance to explore a lot more of Gaz as they’ve technically known the longest (by how much we’ve seen them together in games) + i want gaz to grieve and to be forced into a leader role because Ghost is too freaky to be captain and soap is too young while Gaz’s introduction was already showing him as a good (N)CO. Also like is this not a natural progression if he’s so calm/ idk how to put it? diplomatic? in mw3?? 

his whole ’cutting the head off a snake’ thing. he’s getting his head cut off. what with the whole royalty thing makarov talks about (french royalty and beheadings)

more frusturating in-universe. he’s dead and the team is FUCKED because they just lost their lead. and makarov isn’t behind bars. bigger blow, bigger panic -> wonderful set-up for the fourth game.

I want either Gaz or Soap killing shepherd. Ghost would be too stereotypical lmao. Specifically Soap would be neat- he’d spiral into revenge for sure and he’s already got good reason to hate shepherd for the whole mess in mw2 AND false intel for price AND he had the whole thing about shooting shepherd earlier. on the other hand, Gaz specifically bargained for shepherd and had remained the calm here, so i think it’d be cool to see him fuck around. if he must have his changes then god give me ”WE HAD ACTIONABLE INTEL ON THIS” gaz back. also like ’taking command’ is getting your hands dirty and i feel like killing shepherd would be a LOVELY start if you ignore the butcher scene in 2019.

Gaz 

i feel like his character changed. 

he curses when the dad dies in embassy, he’s shocked when price tosses the guy with the bomb off the balcony. HE STILL TRIES HELPING EVEN IF THERES NO TIME. He gives Farah coffee after embassy. He’s KIND. HE CARES. SO WHY IS HE SO DISTANTLY BALANCED? This guy has righteous fury, where the FUCK is it? 

he’s literally concerned about random people at a checkpoint (shock n awe cutscene! the cop car one!). he’s literally asking what if they don’t move- he doesn’t like the idea of hostages, he’s concerned where they stop. he’s concerned about innocents. it’s development that he’s willing to go further but why is he so ready to forgive and forget when he wasn’t before??

i feel like the fact he can refuse to help Price interrogate the informant on mission is important. Price gives him an out to stay clean. i do not remember which is canon. i just. like that he has the choice yk.

he’s level-headed, but his introduction shows him LITERALLY joking / being sarcastic with his commander. “can’t truly alarm the public”, “terrorists know that too sir?” He comments that someone’s an easy shot in old comrades. He’s prickly when Norris declares Farah’s army hostiles. He jokes when he’s angry and frustrated. He literally pushes back when that happens, why didn’t he push back with SHEPHERD? HE GETS PHYSICALLY AGGRESSIVE OVER JUST THE BUTCHER, WHERE DID THAT RAGE GO??

he’s BITTER. he starts bitter. He’s pissed at the piccadilly attack because there wasn’t proper support or authorisation. He’s PISSED. He curses when he talks to price. he wants to fight, he’s FRUSTRATED. Where did all of that go? Why is he so unnaturally level-headed, why isn’t he frustrated? Why isn’t he pissed at shepherd for the civilians in alone when he cared so much in piccadilly and the embassy? Is he just repressed or did they change him?

Why isn’t there more talk with him and price? he’s clearly the only one slated to be captain or a higher rank. let him and price exchange looks more. let them talk more. let price either talk to him like a friend or like a mentor. ?? link back to my highrise complaints ok i really like the way they play off eachother in 2019 and in 2022. wish they’d kept that up

Okay, the hidden marriage idea is adorable and I'm going to make it even more adorable. Since gold is hard to come by, you made the rings out of the spent brass from fired rounds and made them into rings.

Each Spartan would have different engravings, and keep the ring secret in different places.

Here's the thing, the Spartans would recognize where the bullets come from. You give Linda a ring made from one of her shots, and she will immediately tag it from Nornfang. Kelly's from her precision shots, Fred's from his tactical maneuvers - each one is a piece of their accomplishments. It's like wearing their victories on their fingers, and adding that special engraving on it, one that came from their partner and they will fight for this piece of property.

I think apart of them is scared it's gonna get taken away, so the Spartans always feel the need to hide it. It's why John will always take off the ring and place it on his dog tags when he's out of the suit, they're both a part of him and no one looks twice.

Quick question do you see Asgore as Undynes actual adoptive father or more as a mentor whom she views as a father-like figure?

More mentor figure than actually adopted but I like seeing him adopt her too. My personal view is that it turned from him trying to redirect her passion into being a teacher to her, to being a mentor and the into her boss, and now she's overly familiar with him because of just how long she's known him. He'd be more like an adult she could trust and if it was familial neither would realize or verbalize it. If asgore realized he saw her as a daughter I think asgore would still be too distraught over his past family that he would feel like he's projecting if he asks her and if she realized she saw him as a dad I don't think she would ask either because she also wouldn't want to encroach on that. She'd never call him 'dad' because she doesnt think of him that way but she would still get teased by the other royal guards saying he is because of just how close she is with him. And she would also be seen as the unofficial 'heir' by most other monsters because next to gerson she's the closest to him and has directly trained under him for years. So she still gets that royal heir pressure without actually being his daughter.

I like the idea of him meeting her when she's a little girl (if being attacked out of the blue count as a meeting) and then From there she ends up making him spend alot of time with her for 'training' which eventually turns into him sharing tea with her and her inviting herself over to the castle frequently to yap about her problems. Stray child 'adopts' local lonely king. Mainly she would bug him immensely about gerson and the war. I like to think little undyne would have been very similar to susie so her friendship with asgore is more akin to susie's dynamic with toriel. Could be familial if you want it to be but more of a stray kid finding an adult who actually cares about them and wants to see them do better.

I don’t know if I’ve already shared this and if I had, sorry, but consider: past morally questionable Misako (I’ll preface this with: this is not a Misako slander post. I like her and just because I hc her as a flawed person doesn’t mean I think she’s bad as a character).

Misako but she herself was raised by Darkley’s boarding school (or associated groups). Her love of research and questing originated from being tasked missions to steal magical artefacts. Her interest in the spinjitzu bros was originally a mission to glean information about the elemental alliance and spinjitzu from them, which is why she was quick to accept the letter and why she was fine with having an evil partner.

But over time, her relationship with Garmadon changed her perspective. She saw how he struggled against his own evil, and how he still strive to be a hero in spite of it. They bonded, finding that they had shared experiences and she began to see more in the world and even became excited to start a family with him. He helped her learn to be good. And so when he succumbed to evil, Misako fights to return the favour.

Misako accepted that on her own she didn’t have the skills to look after Lloyd, she might not have even had a good parental relationship herself, and so turned to the people she knew, Darkley’s, as it was essentially the only connection she really had. It’s not the greatest option but she lived through it so (Ik it’s a boarding school for boys but idk maybe there’s another school somewhere else, or Misako is trans idk).

I've mentioned before how I love the references from literary, philosophy and theology that this guy has and I've made a post about his favourite animal being moths, but I also want to touch a little bit of the symbolism behind it, rather than toss a headcanon out of the blue, especially when there's some interesting information to point out. Know that several of these things had been established before, but I also would like to throw everything that I have searched myself.

For instance, moths tend to be attracted by light, constantly flying from perpetual darkness towards the light, symbolizing the soul's journey towards enlightenment or the afterlife. They also represent rebirth, transformation, change and growth which they can be all very fitting to Sōsuke as he has experienced all of these aspects respectively. Rebirthed from that innocent child in Rukongai after learning Soul Society's original Sin, change not only to himself but also to change what appeared to him a false governship and ruler to obey, growth as his wisdom will never cease to expand, alongside with his strength and other tools at his disposal and transformation metaphorically and even literally after subjugating with the Hōgyoku.

It is also believed by many that moths can symbolize one's intuition and encourage them to trust their inner wisdom, just as a moth can get where they need to go without daylight to guide them, one can reach their destination based on their inner wisdom. And even though ' trust ' is a connotation he abhors, he undeniably uses it when it comes to his own intelligence and wisdom as it exceeds levels beyond comprehension for the most.

Moths are also are exemplary examples of abstinence. Some adult moths don’t even eat during their lifetimes. They use all of the energy acquired during their phase as a caterpillar to reproduce before they die. Thus, the moth is also a symbol of sacrifice for the benefit of a greater cause. Which is a very fitting analogy to Sōsuke, as he had sacrificed everything in order to accomplish his goals for what he deems to be a better future. ( despite actions displayed otherwise, where his ethos was questioned and morality disputed but that's another can of worms )

Moths can also camouflage themselves, disguised, it can serve as a reminder for oneselve to keep their cards to themselves. Again, fitting to Sōsuke, from the facade of pretendence, to him not being an open book in contrast to others.

Its transformation resembles of a lotus flower, which starts as a seed and evolves to a bud, which emerges from mud to grow through water and then blossom above the surface. Which feels comforting to Sōsuke, as lotus flowers are part of the inner world of Kyōka Suigetsu ( the illusionary one upon gazing at the spirit's face which is a mirror )

In a more religious aspect, a moth is considered to be a messenger from an angel. Those who believe in divine creation will attest that spirits or souls become a part of divine source, or God. And on this spiritual plane, they hone the craft of creation. This ties significantly well with Sōsuke's motives of attaining godhood, which is much deeper than feeding one's ego.

In a summary:

So, if Sōsuke had to pick a preferable or even a favourite animal, it would be moths. It's the only animal he would look at without thinking the type of experiments to conduct in, nor he would appreciate seeing its beauty contained in a cage. Rather, he would find himself staring at them once they appear upon lightly dimmed light in his room. ( be it in the 5th Division Barracks or in Las Noches ) He would even let a moth land on him, as such act symbolizes trust your intuition.

It has been established before that he is a man of purpose. Everything he says or does, has a purpose. He is also a man that would appreciate something not for the aesthetic purpose but rather, for the meaning behind it. For instance, his favourite colour is red for its representation to the world. So it goes without saying that his favourite animal would be something he could somewhat relate to, or find its symbolism or even history fascinating enough. After all, he is a man that would look up such terminologies.

Re: shb trolley problem I find it kinda funny and hypocritical that so little care/sympathy is being shown towards the 8th Calamity Timeline and how underexplored that problem's in canon, it's ""okay"" to erase that timeline, along with Exarch himself (as per the 5.0 knowledge), just because a portion of that doomed Source's population (the Ironworks and others who worked on the plan) said it's okay, we hate it here anyway. Surely the rest of the star unanimously agreed with that.

Where JJK Men Are Sensitive

Satoru, Suguru, Nanami, Toji, Sukuna, Yuta, Yuji, Megumi

Warnings: all characters are 18+, this is a smut headcanon post with various levels of lewd-content lol, proceed with caution... or not, I don't judge. I mean I'm the one who wrote it so...

A/N: tried a different style than how I did this with the Hashira lol. Thank you all for blowing up my "How JJK Men Eat Pussy 2.0" post! I was and still am absolutely floored with how quickly y'all blew it up!

Satoru Gojo

Satoru doesn’t tell you where he is sensitive because he wants you to figure it out through “exploration”. Given the fact that he is the Satoru Gojo, you jump on the offer to spend hours learning every inch of his body. You make a whole day out of it really, and it goes without saying that your endeavor was very, very successful. Sensitive and ticklish run a very thin line for Satoru and it is a line that is very easily blurred. Your first discovery was that he has a very sensitive neck. Something as small as your hands cupping the back of it was enough to have Satoru shivering in your embrace, whining a little into the kiss. You learned very quickly that one of his greatest weaknesses is your lips on his pulse, leaving faint bruises where you sucked. As your exploration continued, you found that Satoru was very reactive when you touched his chest. More specifically, you hadn’t expected him to moan the way he did when your tongue ran across his nipple by mistake. The noise that escaped him, paired with the visible twitch of his dick was enough for you to take the other between your thumb and pointer finger and pinch. The third discovery was that Satoru has particularly sensitive balls. Yep, that’s right, his fucking balls. You had given him head before, but you had never dared to touch him there since you weren’t sure how he would react. Since this was a “free-for-all” as Satoru put it, you gingerly cupped him and watched the way his jaw clenched. Your eyes were glued to his face as you massaged them, alternating your pressure to see how far you could take it before pleasure pushed the line and turned into pain. Turns out, they are sensitive but durable and well… he doesn’t mind if you’re a bit rough with him from time to time (all the time). 

Suguru Geto

Suguru refuses to let you figure out where he is sensitive until you catch him off guard one night and bind his wrists. Of course he can easily get out of them but he’s interested in indulging you because you look too damn cute when you think you’ve won. You’re pretty upfront with him about what you intend to do, which only makes him a little antsy as your fingers nimbly undo the rest of his clothing while you remain in nothing but his t-shirt. Suguru isn’t quite used to the roles being reversed but he’ll give it a try for you. The first sensitive point on his body that you discover is his ears, and it’s not because of his gauges. You actually avoid his earlobes all together, instead catching him by surprise as you sink your teeth into the shell of his ear. This earns a reaction neither of you expected, a low groan that vibrates his chest as you alternate the pressure of your nibbling before pulling away. Suguru’s cheeks are red now as you continue to explore various points on him, his dick painfully hard and sitting proudly against his abdomen as you work. The next spot is actually his sides, your fingernails scraping them has his body shivering in response. It seems some of Suguru’s sensitivity resides in the most random places, because you didn’t quite envision yourself laughing as you grazed your teeth down his side before biting softly and watching his back arch. By the time you reach his waist, Suguru is red in the face and panting, precum oozing steadily out of his tip and resting on his abdomen. He’s looking at you with blown out pupils, quietly begging you to touch him where it really “matters”, to which you shake your head. Suguru’s thighs are his other weakness, which you kind of figured since he always gets very fidgety when you sit on his lap or grind on it.

Kento Nanami

Nanami is a tough man to break down, but over the years you have located a few of his weak points. One of Nanami’s major weaknesses is his jaw/neck, more specifically when you’re kissing and sucking and biting there. There is something about the sensual drag of your teeth on his skin that has his composure dissolving. You know this of course, so you use it to get your way when Nanami is being a little too stubborn for his own good. This neck sensitivity goes a little further though, something as simple as adjusting his tie or fixing his collar will have Nanami shivering from your touch. You found another weak spot by mistake, turns out Nanami is rather ticklish when it comes to his Stomach. You had been riding him, initially placing your hands behind you on his legs to hold yourself as your hips rose and fell. But your back was getting sore and the angle was starting to get tiring, so you slowed and pushed yourself forward rather than leaning back. The moment your hands made contact with Nanami’s abs, he was gritting his teeth and throwing his head back. You initially thought you had hurt him by pressing down on him, but that worried thought disappeared the moment he gasped out for you to “not move” when you started to pull your hands away. You started paying a little more attention to his stomach shortly after that, just because you enjoyed the way he squirmed and fell apart. Unknown to you still is the fact that Nanami’s nipples are very sensitive. He keeps it hidden because he is utterly mortified by how turned on he gets from it. Even if your hand ghosts over them, even if he’s still fully dressed, the feeling has his face turning a deep shade of red. He knows if you figure this out, you’ll go out of your way to touch him there regardless of where you both are, and he just knows he won’t be able to stop the heat from flooding his face. 

Toji Fushiguro

Toji is pretty damn adamant that he has no “weak spots”. That’s up until your hand rests on the back of his slutty ass, tiny waist and he’s crumbling at the feeling. Something about your fingers on his skin has Toji losing his train of thought, he’ll stop mid-sentence if he feels your hands on his waist.
