The Baroness

Baroness Anastasia Cisarovna is the daughter of wealthy European aristocrats who made sure their daughter got everything she could ever want.  Rather than becoming spoiled and entitled young Anastasia grew increasingly rebellious.  At university she fell in with a group of student radicals becoming involved in political activism.  Her beliefs became more and more extremist, ultimately resulting in her being recruited into the ranks of the terrorist organization known as Cobra.

Now known strictly as ‘The Baroness’ she quickly matriculated through the ranks of Cobra, becoming its chief intelligence officer.  Her shrewd, tactical mind coupled with her fierce skills as a combatant distinguished her and it was not long before she earned a leadership role within the organization.  

Along with Cobra Commander and Destro, The Baroness was part of the ruling Cobra Triumvirate. She was privy to the secrets of both men, especially Destro, with whom she shared a romance. Her loyalty remained divided between both men and she has never hesitated to play them against each other.

Actress Morgan Lofting provided the voice for the villainess, first appearing in the debut episode of G.I.Joe: A Real American Hero, airing on September 12th, 1983.

Also, just a random share, but while reading Scorpia, can't help but envision Julia Rothman a lot like the Sunbow!Baroness hahaha. Made for a fun reading experience.

I know the accent is most prooobably not Welsh and I even went on a deep dive in YouTube to find out what Welsh accent sounded like. But appearance wise, sans the glasses, she has Julia Rothman energy, no? Even the jealousy bit in this particular clip skskdhsj as Julia was jealous of Helen lmao 💀
