The Ultimate Amazon Queen

New Orleans had always been a city of paradoxes: vibrant yet haunted, modern yet deeply rooted in its history. It was a fitting home for Bella, the Ultimate Amazon Queen, and her band of fifteen loyal Amazons. While the rest of the Amazon Nation was scattered across the globe, guarding their ancient traditions and fighting for justice in secret, these women were the heart of the sisterhood.
Bella, their leader, wielded the Sword of Nihlus, a weapon of immense power. The sword was both a blessing and a curse, capable of killing anything it touched—whether mortal, immortal, or divine. Forged from a fragment of a dying star and enchanted by the gods, it was entrusted to Bella for one purpose: to protect the balance of life.
The Threat
For years, Bella and her Amazons lived quietly among the bustling streets of New Orleans, blending into the city’s rich tapestry. They operated out of a hidden base beneath an old plantation house on the edge of the bayou. The house, known locally as Shadowvine Estate, was rumored to be haunted—a convenient cover for their operations.
But peace was not meant to last.
Reports of strange disappearances began filtering in. Tourists and locals vanished near the French Quarter, their last sightings accompanied by flickering lights and distorted air. Bella knew what it meant: something ancient and malevolent had awakened.
The culprit revealed itself soon enough. A being named Xarak, a former Amazon who had turned against her sisters centuries ago, had returned. Xarak had stolen forbidden knowledge from the gods and transformed herself into a creature of pure malice, sustained by the life force she drained from others.
She had one goal: to take the Sword of Nihlus from Bella and use it to destroy the Amazons, ensuring no one could challenge her reign of terror.
A Divided Nation
Bella convened her Amazons in the grand hall beneath Shadowvine Estate. The fifteen warriors, each with a unique skillset honed over years of training, stood ready.
“Xarak is no ordinary enemy,” Bella said, her voice steady but heavy with urgency. "She understands our methods, our vulnerabilities, and our strengths." But she doesn’t know us. We are more than warriors. We are sisters, and together, we are unstoppable.”
The Amazons nodded, their resolve firm.
However, Bella faced a difficult choice. With only fifteen Amazons in New Orleans and the rest of the sisterhood spread thin across the globe, reinforcements were unlikely to arrive in time.
“We fight with what we have,” Bella declared.
The Plan
The Amazons devised a three-pronged strategy:
Defend the Sword: Bella and her lieutenant, Helena, would guard the Sword of Nihlus at all costs.
Evacuate Civilians: A team led by Calla, an Amazon skilled in tactical operations, would ensure the safety of New Orleans’ residents, herding them away from the danger zones.
Strike at Xarak: The remaining Amazons would draw Xarak out, using guerrilla tactics to weaken her and prevent her from reaching the sword.
The Battle of New Orleans
The night of the confrontation arrived with an eerie stillness. Xarak emerged from the shadows near Jackson Square, her form shifting like smoke and shadow. Her power was immense, and as she moved, the very air seemed to warp around her.
The strike team launched their assault, using enchanted weapons to force Xarak back. While the Amazons were highly skilled, Xarak’s power was overwhelming. She fought with a ferocity fueled by centuries of anger, and her attacks left scars on the very fabric of reality.
Meanwhile, Bella stood in the heart of Shadowvine Estate, the Sword of Nihlus in hand. Its blade shimmered with a faint, otherworldly light, and its weight in her grip reminded her of the burden she carried.
Xarak finally broke through the outer defenses and faced Bella.
Bella vs. Xarak
The two warriors stood face to face, a clash of wills as much as weapons.
“You don’t deserve that sword,” Xarak hissed, her voice like the echo of a storm. “It belongs to one who understands its true power!”
Bella raised the sword, her emerald eyes locked onto Xarak. “The sword belongs to no one. It’s a tool of balance, not destruction. You’ve forgotten what it means to be an Amazon.”
Their battle shook the estate. Xarak’s dark energy clashed against the divine light of the sword, sending shockwaves that toppled walls and shattered windows. Bella fought with precision, each strike of the Sword of Nihlus countering Xarak’s chaotic attacks.
The Final Strike
Xarak gained the upper hand, binding Bella in tendrils of shadow. The villain’s laughter echoed through the crumbling hall.
“Your strength is meaningless,” Xarak sneered. "Your sisters will crumble, and this city will be consumed by flames!"
But Bella was not finished. Summoning every ounce of her strength, she channeled the power of the sword. The blade glowed brighter than ever before, and with a single, decisive swing, Bella severed the shadows binding her.
The light of the Sword of Nihlus overwhelmed Xarak, piercing through her darkness. With a final, anguished cry, Xarak disintegrated, her essence scattered to the winds.
Aftermath
The battle left Shadowvine Estate damaged but standing. New Orleans, too, bore the scars of the confrontation, but its people were safe.
Bella gathered her Amazons in the courtyard at dawn, the Sword of Nihlus sheathed at her side.
“This victory is not just ours,” Bella said. "It belongs to every Amazon and to all those we vowed to protect. Xarak is gone, but there will always be threats. And we will always be ready.”
Though the rest of the Amazon Nation remained spread across the world, the bond between them grew stronger. Bella, the Ultimate Amazon Queen, stood as their unifying force—a symbol of hope and strength in a world that desperately needed both.

Dani x Jason Prompt
(Because i dont see enough of these two together. Also, this is another prompt i found in my fic files that i never did anything with.)
While Danny is in Amity Park protecting the ghost portal, Dani explores the world. Danny might be powerful enough to put down any threat, even Ancients, but she isn't as lucky. Her best defense against Vlad or the GIW is to never be in the same place two days in a row. Not to say she isn't powerful in her own right - she's yet to meet a ghost in her travels that she couldn't utterly crush, and even if she had, she's got the most loyal dog in both this world and the next to have her six.
Dani has discovered a great deal of beauty throughout the world in her few short years of life, but also unfathomable evil and undescribable corruption. She does what she can in every place she passes through, her ghost powers the ultimate cheat code for investigation and subterfuge, bringing to light the things that once hid in the dark.
But while scoping out yet another child trafficking ring, she crosses paths with a spirit of vengeance. At least, that's the only explanation she can come up with for how he's able to turn his shock and horror into pure rage at the flip of a dime.
Until she realizes that he's a baby halfa. If he doesn't learn how to mediate his emotions, he's going to burn out one of his halves.
Maybe she can help him stabilize into a proper spirit of justice and keep him from following the path that Vlad went down - oh shit, he doesn't even know that he's undead. Well, this is going to be a project and a half. But Dani is nothing if not resourceful - she's more than willing to put in the work if it means making an ally of the fourth known halfa.
Featuring:
Dani and jason are about the same age (16-17ish)
They run into each other during jason's LoA-sponsored world tour, investigating the same trafficking ring
Cujo is there too
Dani totally helps with the crime lord grand plan, but also wrestles jason down from the more messed up family drama stuff he did, like attacking tim, and knocks some sense into him and finds a better solution for dealing with the joker
#dpxdc#dp x dc#jason x dani#can be romantic or platonic as long as its ride or die#if good fenton parents then dani AND jason are treated like bonus children#but this can be pre reveal or bad reveal too#but danny (and potentially his parents) are background characters that only exist to provide support when needed#also some time after meeting the two drop off the face of the earth so effectively that not even talia can find them#they show back up like a month later and jason is now a fully trained amazon warrior#because he and dani spent a month training in the realms under pandora while also healing jason's core#in this au team phantom and dani are very nearly robin-level vigilantes because they have an army of mentors in the realms#and if dani is 16-17 that means danny is 18-19#lol maybe hes already in gotham for college when dani and jason start up jason's master plan#what if damian gets sent to bruce a few years early because danny dealt with the LoA after meeting jason and learning about the pits?#or both dannies teamed up with jason once hes settled into his powers and all work together to destroy the lazerous pits#and the three of them somehow end up with an assassin child to coparent#idk im going off on tangents now so i gotta stop with the tags

Do you know something that honestly bothers me? that when they want to make retellings of Greek stories, they almost always go for the figures that really do not deserve their own story.
I KNOW IT SOUNDS BAD, BUT LISTEN.
Circe, for example, from this woman (who turned out to be quite controversial) Madeline, they try to sell you Circe's story as a "feminist" retelling and normally there would be nothing wrong with that.
The issue is that Circe (in the myths and from what I understand in the book) is not at all feminist.
I mean, she is a morally gray woman, I respect that, but is it really a good idea to use as an example of a "feminist" a woman who 1- killed a man who did not want to be unfaithful to his wife with her, 2- converted an innocent nymph in a MONSTER (Scylla) only for an unrequited love (again) and 3- in Telogony, after Odysseus dies (her supposed "lover" who in some versión she ENCHANTED, at the hands of the son they had together) she marries HIS ANOTHER SON.
Since when did a woman who tramples on men or hurts other women for her own benefit become a "feminist" or "girlboss"??
WITH SO MANY OTHER POSSIBLE SCENARIOS TO MAKE RETELINGS OF GREEK MYTHOLOGY AND THEY DECIDE TO GO FOR CIRCE?
"BUT JUlIx WHAT ANOTHER EXAMPLE DO YOU WANT THEM TO USE?? Circe is SUPER KNOWN, OBVIOUSLY it's easier to go for her"
other examples? let's see:
MEDUSA (old classic, a great allegory that still works today about how SA victims are re-victimized and blamed by the people who should be protecting them/they don't get justice because their attacker is more "relevant" and powerful than them). (Even if it's the Roman versión, You can't Say that a myth that reflects the reality of THOUSANDS of women and give streng to the víctims its not "feminist")
PENTHESILEA(Amazon queen who fought in the Trojan War, which she attended because she was depressed after having accidentally killed her sisters, but she did not leave without killing dozens of Trojans and fighting with Achilles himself. IMAGINE A BOOK ABOUT HER) .
THE AMAZONS IN GENERAL (Tribes of warlike women, daughters of Ares, whom he loved very much, who had a matriarchal system that existed without men, without competition, with a great sense of sisterhood and who participated in many velic encounters in mythology) .
HERMIONE OF SPARTA AND ANDROMACHA (the daughter of Helen of Troy and Menelaus and the wife of Hector of Troy respectively. Both were married against their wills to Neoptolemus, the son of Achilles, who was abusive (quite graphically) and they hated him. Imagine a story where the two become friends and team up to kill Neo, Hermione takes control of Sparta and Andromache is her second in command).
ATALANTA (The only woman of the Argonauts who, when the magical boar of Calidon appeared, was the one who managed to hurt him first and kept the home trophy (but FOR SOME REASON later there are myths that kill her in the stupidest way possible, thanks Aphrodite) )
In conclusion, let's give the spotlight to Greek women who genuinely deserve to be known about them❤️ (without trowing Hate to Circe, she DESERVES TO BE KNOWN, but not as a feminist story).
________
