Possibility for a seventh FoE Academy or some such....
So...I was watching The Castle in the Sky...remembering that the name Laputa comes from Swift’s Gulliver’s Travels...and thought... Hm...two of the the Academies are underwater (Dom-Daniel and Beowulf Academy) the rest on land? With the entirety of The Russian Academy moving about on legs like Baba Yaga’s house...(hm...I wonder)... One on an eternally moving Island... Why not have one moving about the Clouds? Though...I’m not certain...if I do...there will be the questions of how it floats, how people get up there, and so on...then the question of when it was founded in relation to the others (Archimago remains the first). But for now...it’s a possibility....one to consider... Then again, might not have it be an Academy for the FoE. Could just be a thing Alyss and the Eldritch Fellows made...just because. Might relate more to the Preternatural Intelligentsia within the FoE...or could just be like a personal retreat or something for Alyss...like...Vacation...a hide out...or how she gets around instead of walking...Her own Study Cottage in the Sky...or something like that? I mean...each Academy already has a room or a handful of rooms for the Arch Overseer’s use....could have one separate... Was looking up Storm spirits. Apparently there’s a mythical land called Magonia populated by Sky Pirates or something...so that might be worth looking into...Not sure... Any of this sound interesting? Make of this what you will. A Dramatis Personae of sorts for all the thought of Eldritchicians at Present.
Leadership. Arch Overseer Alyss V Eldridge. Overseer Sinbad( Cartographer of the Curious, Weird, and Eldritch). Overseer Morgan. Overseer Sophocles of Alexandria (Head Archivist). Overseer Cosmin (former Solomonar). Overseers Runa. Overseer Archimedes(A Mothman. Best friend of Alaire Vendel Eldritch) Alyss’ Intelligentsia: Charles Williams (Editor and ESPer Left hand to Alyss). Tomomi (a Kitsune and Alyss Right Hand. Childhood friend to Alyss) Rosemary (Fae. Loyal to Alwin V. Eldritch. Not a formal member of the FoE). Prioska Lakatos ( A Vampire. Clockwork enthusiast. On and off relationship with Albus Viggo Eldritch). Autolycus Adams. Ranger (think a mish mash of Halt O’Carrick and Aragorn) and either Shapeshifter like his namesake or merely a Werewolf. Not certain yet. Note. Those in Alyss’ Intelligentsia (with the exception of Rosemary) still do other Eldritchician things when not doing Intelligentsia stuff. Other Eldritchicians. Quincey J.J. Harker. Human, knowledgeable with Ghosts, Vampires, and the sorts of creatures which are of interest to Alaire (Cryptids). Lucius Abraham Harker. A Ghost. Technically not an actual Eldritchician but is just haunting his dummy of a Brother. Medusa. That Medusa. Excellent Archivist, and handler of Eldritch materials. Hates Algimantas Varius Eldritch. Ismene. Former Priestess of Athena and former Statue. Murdann. A Finwife from Orkney. Excellent Healer and handler of Eldritch Materials. Knows of Eldritch things in the Sea, Ghosts, and Folklore things that Alaire would know. Wife to Albus V Eldritch. Clarissa Williams. Psychic Detective. Occasionally takes on Intelligentsia work but only if absolutely necessary. Knows of Ghosts, Angels, And Wisdom. Walter, and Stansby Williams. Thought form duplicates of either Charles or Clarissa Williams (no one is sure which? And no one has bothered to remember). Horatio, aka Doctor Faustus. Received his nickname for having studied at Wittenberg. This Horatio is knowledgeable in Ghosts, Demons, Cryptids....and Old Shadows. One of the only Eldritchicians to decipher and seek to learn this subject from Alaire. Other ideas to follow as I’m thinking to have the Eldritchicians be set up in teams (or perhaps squads works better?) of Three. Only current Team thought up is The Harker Bros and Horatio. More to follow surely. If curious about any...feel free to ask questions and stuff. Or not. Tumblr will probably eat this and make it look all messy destroying my spacing limited though it is. Make of this what you will. Al, the Chronographing Cottager and Prince of Naming

The FoE, the Eldritch Fellows, and involvement in Arthuriana...
So...doubling down on The FoE beginning some time prior to all that Arthurian stuff going down...best think about how staples relate and to what degree the Eldritch Fellows and the FoE have to do with it( whether some are more concerned elsewhere in the world). Arthur. Still Arthur, raised by Sir Ector trained by Merlin, half brother to Morgan Le Fay...that’s all unchanged. Only notable thing is that after all that business with Mordred and dying and stuff he’ll be married off to Queen(Empress?) Gloriana of Faerie. Said marriage being arranged by Alyss and Morgana prior to Arthur’s becoming King...as part of a treaty with Faerie and Elfphame so they don’t outright conquer everything in the world. Morgana: will be human, not the mother of Mordred but his aunt twice over (Arthur and Morgouse), still magical. The Convent she was sent to will truly be an Academy for the FoE (one of two at the time). She’ll still learn all the Arts and Sciences, being really into Astronomy (probably Alan’s favorite student since she was more interested in the Astronomy then the Demonology). And still super adept with Magic and stuff. Will have been a part of the meeting where her brother is promised as a future husband to the Faerie Queen Gloriana. Will follow the tract of mostly antagonistic towards Arthur, still hating G...I can never remember how to spell her name right! Gwen...till remaining good. Not sure what she does after Arthur’s death and second Marriage. Might run the Brocéliande Academy...might stick around Avalon...as an Advisor to her little brother I don’t know. Avalon. Being the Isle of Apples, Algimantas May keep an Orchard or two here for his Idunnian and Hesperidean apples. Will likely serve as the Capital Kingdom of Gloriana’s Piece of Faerie. Will likely be a means of going to and from Faerie from the regular world. Albus has a Light House on Avalon...because. Merlin: Not sure with Merlin...might have him be one of the Eldritch Fellows themselves (Alfr, Aldread, and even Alaire are possibilities)? Or...given how going by Malory he’s supposed to be the Son of the Devil or just an Incubus...might have him instead be a Son of one of the Eldritch Fellows. Likely either Alan (because of the Devil thing)...or possibly Albus (since Albus could probably be imagined as an Incubus if I’m remembering correctly what those are)? Either way this would make him Cousin to the Queens of Faerie and Elfphame, as well as cousin to Alyss. Lady of the Lake: um....hm. Possibly just a simple Fairy...possibly actually Murdann (Finwife and wife to Albus)? Hm...Nah. Just a Fairy belonging to Gloriana’s Court. Arthur’s Arsenal: mainly considering The Sword in the Stone, Excalibur, and Carnwennan. The former two probably made by Albus at Merlin’s request. Carnwennan by Alaire, and Algimantas dealt with making Excalibur’s special scabbard. The Holy Grail: The FoE (And Algimantas) wants it for reasons and keeps tabs on the questing Knights. Autolycus Lupin following the Grail Knights with the task of stealing the Grail once they find it( might also try nabbing the Spear of Destiny while he’s at it). The Green Knight: Green Knight is the Green Knight. One of the Old Green Men (though not a Goodfellow) and a part of Alwin’s Retinue and Hunt. Make of this what you will. Explaining the FoE in case I’ve not done well enough in that.
Alright then... So...FoE stands for Fellowship of Eldritchicians. An organization of individuals who are skilled in or concerned with Eldritch matters. Admittedly Preternatural also works as a descriptor, but Eldritch just sounds cooler. Eldritch also serves as the surname for a group of individuals (the Eldritch Fellows) who have supported the Fellowship since it’s founding in the 3rdish century AD/CE. They have been supporting it as benefactors/Tutors since with several being more involved than others for a variety of reasons. A tiny organization known as the Monitors of the Miraculous, Monstrous, and Mysterious served as a sort of Precursor group doing so at the behest of one of the aforementioned Eldritch Fellows. A big point in the History of the FoE concerns involvement with the quest of the Holy Grail carried out by the Knights of the Round Table and others. The Goals of the Fellowship are generally as Follows. Observe and take note of Eldritch, Supernatural, Occult, Extranatural, or Preternatural and so on. If it’s a threat, they stop it being a threat. Eliminating this as a last resort or when absolutely necessary. Following certain events with the Holy Grail (at the behest/request of another Eldritch Fellow), the FoE also concerns itself with the retrieval/confiscation of Magical/Holy/Supernatural Artifacts and Items...or at least keep tabs on those who are in charge of it. (Though they’ve been in frequent Custody battles over the Holy Grail(s) in their custody). The Fellowship of Eldritchicians primarily has operated out of Europe and through out Asia since that is where they’ve been mainly needed (other areas like the Americas have generally managed exceptionally well without their interference?) still figuring this bit out I must admit. Though the FoE generally go where deemed necessary. If they’re involvement isn’t deemed necessary, they’ll leave well enough alone. Their involvement in America has generally gone no further than the Observation and in some cases Caretaking (as is the case with Dr. L Leeds looking after her Youngest Brother John Leeds). Things in America have generally been under the watch and purview of Overseer Archimedes. Leading the Uncanny Fellowship Observers. The Leadership of the FoE is Seven Overseers. One of these seven being the Founder and Arch Overseer (Grand Overseer? Some such word) of the FoE Alyss Violet Eldridge. Three of these Overseers (Cosmin Lungu, Morgan Maddox, and Sinbad Al-Amin) look over three of the FoE’s six or seven Academies. Then there are Overseer Sophocles of Alexandria (In charge of the Archives and the earlier Monitor of the Monstrous,Miraculous, and Mysterious). And Overseer Runa Ring Maker who looks over The Treasure House where all the Collected, retrieved, and Confiscated artifacts are stored and guarded and what not. Within the FoE are several Splinter groups (think like the Messengers or the Mystorians in Chronicles of the Imaginarium Geographica). These include U.F.O (Uncanny/Unique. Fellowship. Observers), and the Preternatural Intelligentsia. The PI (who have the Pi Symbol as their symbol...cause) being a very select group that are meant to do espionage stuff...Gathering info on the state of other Secret Organizations(The Institute of Maleficum (don’t remember how to spell it. Means Sorcery or something), the Hermitage, the Knights of Cobernic (custody fight over the Grail), and others.... After the business with the Grail (following the example of the three Grail Knights and excluding Lancelot) it was established that Eldritchicians should conduct business in teams of Three. These trios are ordinarily set up after studies/training has concluded or after General studies has been concluded but prior to advance training? Fields Eldritchicians are trained in (each trained in at least three, but there can be more) Wisdom/Knowledge/Naming/Magic... Faeries and Elves (including Politics). Demons (of all sorts) Astronomy is required before learning about Demons. Ghosts(ranges between Exorcism, Ghost busting, or Counseling) Undead things (Vampires and the like)(several Eldritchicians are such things) Eldritch Horrors (Lovecraft like stuff) Fantastical and Folkloric Fauna (Classic Mythology stuff, Cryptids. This does not include certain things. Wend*go$ and such (did I do that right?) are not covered...) not included. While Lumberjack creatures will be? (Hidebehind in particular is important). Primordial Darkness and Shadows. Angels. Magical Artifacts and Items. Undersea Creatures Storm Elementals. Alchemical stuff And...I think I got everything? The FoE recruits people by Senior Eldritchicians taking notice of people with potential for such work (usually having some Supernatural or Magical talent like seeing Ghosts, Making magical stuff, being supernatural like Faeries and Elves, etc...) and having the Headmasters of each Academy divide however many they pick up between the Academies. They have a max and minimum of Students (have to have enough for full trios with maybe a few extra for other duties). And go from there. This Story or whatever will likely focus on six individuals (more on them later) being recruited and joining the FoE for a variety of reasons. They’ll likely find themselves at the Archimago Academy, and several of the Eldritch Fellows making appearances prior to their roles as Tutors. Regular Teachers are senior Eldritchicians given the job for one reason or another... So...yeah. If you’ve got any questions about any of these ramblings. The FoE, certain Eldritchicians (have a list somewhere), the Eldritch Fellows, etc. Make of this what you will. Al, the Chronographing Cottager and Prince of Naming

Instruments the Eldritch Fellows (and Alyss) play...
Just like having characters play cool instruments...so here’s some characters and the cool instruments they play. Alvis: probably doesn’t play one? Maybe the Anglo Saxon Lyre if he played anything. Or the Norse one I forget the name of. Albus: Flute, Concertina, and Voice (for Shanties and stuff). Alan: Violin/Fiddle Alaire: Hurdy Gurdy all the way. Alwin: Normally has Rosemary play music for him, but Alwin does enjoy playing all manner of Pipes along with his Piper/Corruptor of Words. Aldread: Lute (suited for Alchemists). Alfr: hm...Probably the Celtic Harp or Mandola? Alastor: nothing. Alpheas: no clue. Algernon: Trying to learn how to play the Kantele. Is upset that Algimantas won’t help him. Employs Louhi in his circus teaching her the magic he knows in exchange for Kantele lessons. Algimantas: This bastard is a damn Show off. Given his business and concerns any Instrument which holds mythical precedence or told to display magical capabilities Algimantas has tried to get his hands on to make, sell, trade, and play. His favorites are the stringed sort that are plucked or strummed. His favorites and the ones he plays most often when he sits down to do so are the Lyre (all sorts) going by the exploits of Orpheus and Amphion (Telekinetic Lyres you guys?) and the Kantele of Väinämöinen. The Kantele being the particular favorite for its sound and seeming simplicity. Passed his Lyre knowledge to both Alyss and Runa Ring Maker. Alyss: From the influence of her Uncle Algimantas Alyss has taken a liking for Lyres. The Barbiton (which I’m going to say she learned from Sappho probably?) and the Anglo Saxon Lyre especially. Though she collects any and all sorts of Lyre she comes across. Every office of hers (having one in each FoE Academy) has a wall dedicated to Lyres. The others are weapons and Bookshelves.... Make of this what you will. Al, the Chronographing Cottager and Prince of Naming

The Five Queens of Faerie and Elphame, and the Wild Hunt.
Stuff for a Writing thing... At some earlier point, one of All That There Was took the name Albrecht V Eldritch and made himself ruler of all Faeries and Elves. After the Death of Alaric V Eldritch at the hands of his subjects Albrecht was forced to step down from his title or Erl-King. Albrecht did Abdicate but pulled a Lear. He’s no longer King and doesn’t deal with running things, but still expects respect and stuff. So that his vast Kingdom wasn’t left unruled or anything he divided it into five, divesting Rulership between his five Children. These Children being... Queen Titania (with her Consort Oberon, her son Aled, and Daughter Gloriana). Queen Gloriana (with her Consort Arthur Pendragon and Children: Britomart, Archimago (also called Alveric or Archie), Acrasia (meant in this context to have been an alternative name of Titania’s), Pellinore, Taliesin, and Morgana). Queen Mab(no Consort probably?). Queen Diana (definitely no Consort) and her wandering Court of Elves And Queen Nicnevin (Consort Christonday?)and her wandering Court of Elves and Witches and other things. The part ruled over by Titania, Gloriana, and Mab known to the FoE as Faerie, while those lands and locales ruled by Diana and Nicnevin are referred to as Elfland for Diana’s portion and Elfphame for Nicnevin’s portion. I should make another note regarding Alwin. When he abdicated he decreed he’d stay and sheltered by each of his daughters for a time. With him there’d be a Retinue of some 30 Knights Faerie and Elf alike who’d accompany him on hunting trips. Also accompanying Alwin are two others. The Green Knight Bertalik (who occasionally houses Alwin in his Chapel) and Alwin’s forever Faithful Corruptor of Words (not Fool) and Royal Retainer (in that he remembers things for Alwin) Rosemary. Rosemary being quite a colorfully dressed Faerie in a suit of Green, Purple, Blue, White, and Pink. Rosemary is like Puck, but is not Puck. Rosemary is also one of the Preternatural Intelligentsia for the Arch Overseer Alyss Violet Eldridge, and basically informs Alyss and the current political Climates of Faerie and Elfphame. Acrasia and Aled will have some future Importance...protagonisty things. Make of this what you will. Al, the Chronographing Cottager and Prince of Naming

The many portraits of Albus V Eldritch.
Let me specify this is not a situation of a dude having a bunch of Horocrux Dorian Grey portraits (though that’s a good idea)...but literally just the idea of a character (one Albus Viggo Eldritch) having a bunch of Paintings in his many places of residences. Subjects of such paintings include: Albus doing cool necromancer things decked out in the Robes he wore as Archimago Albus Eldritch (Black with Red and White embroidery depicting Skeletons and Ghosts and such things...embroidery retained in his Pirate Captain Coat) Reuniting lovers, officiating a Wedding (cause ship captains can do that right?) of some Ghost sailors, calling down a hellish Tempest. Walking around Sunken Ruins. Etc. Fencing with Ghost Pirates. Just lounging about with his various lady loves, manly loves (gentlemanly loves?) and so on. At least a Painting of him Murdann, Prioska, and Cosmin all hanging out being cute and stuff. His underwater wedding to Murdann, he and Cosmin clearing out Dom Daniel, a Painting of Prioska raiding Albus’ wardrobe while the ghosts mess with him while he’s sleeping. Someone or other gazing over his shoulder while he’s doing Cartography stuff (possibly Sinbad correcting him on mistakes?). The setting up of the Light House of Avalon. Him just admiring Murdann as she Spins, partying with his Ghost Buds dancing on Tables and things jamming out on his Flute (or Whistle? I’m still not entirely certain what he plays). One of him pulling a Hamlet and holding Yorick’s (a skilled Eldritchician and Surgeon who happens to be an animated Skeleton) with Yorick’s body off to the side arms crossed in annoyance. Albus teaching a young Alyss how to sword fight...Albus wreaking havoc on the people responsible for making Captain Kit a Ghost Kitten...and so on and so on. And of course a ton of pictures of him and his many many cats(so many cats enough that a number of Armadas would each have a Cat or two). And basically any time he gets a New cat another painting is commissioned. I know that Albus probably (probably?) doesn’t paint these himself. Probably? Likely has either a long line of Painters do them for him, or an Immortal one? I’m not sure...maybe Prioska? I’m not sure. But anyway, Albus has a bunch of Paintings of stuff of him just...doing his thing over the centuries. If you have any questions about Albus, or any previous thing concerning the Fellowship of Eldritchicians (FoE) or the Eldritch Fellows...feel free to ask. Make of this what you will. Al, the Chronographing Cottager and Prince of Naming.

A Current list of Eldritchicians those developed and under developed.
I will list the Currently thought up Eldritchicians. This might be repetitive but ah well. Will have their name, what Eldritch topics they’re familiar with, any particular interesting bits about them like if they’re part of a Splinter group or what have you. Hope you find this interesting, and if you have any questions be they important or otherwise...please ask away! Please? Alyss Violet Eldridge: First Eldritchician. The Arch Overseer, Founder and leader of the FoE. Adopted daughter of Alvis Vadim Eldritch. Raised by Alvis and the rest of his Fellows. Has learned a little of everything from the each Eldritch Fellow (even Alastor) Skilled in the Rapier, Carnwennanian Dagger, excellent persuader and diplomat (when necessary). Always has a book on her person. Has an Awoken Shadow. Is Dark skinned with unnaturally white hair. Wears three Rings. Her Overseer and Arch Overseer Rings on her left (An Iron Ring set with Amethyst and a Silver Ring set with Lapis Lazuli), and a Ring gifted to her by the Eldritch Fellows which is visibly made of Orichalcum with a brilliant blood red stone of some sort (a very philosophical sort). Immediate superior to all Eldritchicians. Will occasionally not wear her Overseer Rings and go about business as a simple Eldritchician, usually teaming up with Tomomi and Charles Williams. Overseer Secundus Sinbad Al-Amin. A Cartographer and Blacksmith from Damascus. Knows how to make Damascus Steel. Has learned from Alvis(Wisdom) Albus(Ghosts and Sea Creatures) , Algimantas (Items and Objects and Allan (Demons and things considered Demons and such). Vice Chancellor of the Academy for Eldritchicians. An avid Cartographer of Strange and unusual Locales. A friend to Alvis. Wears two rings. One is his Overseer Ring, the other is a Agate Ring which to my knowledge is a custom of Muslim men. If this is incorrect, please correct me. Overseer Morgan Maddox. A Scottish (or Welsh? I’m not sure yet) Warrior. Friend of Alyss. Heads the Saint Alyss Academy for Eldritchicians. Skilled in Spear, and Carnwennanian Dagger. The Overseer who ...oversees the paperwork for the occasional necessary extermination and such? Monster hunting and the like. Learned under the Legendary Scàthach before meeting Alyss and the Eldritch Fellows. As an Eldritchician Studied under Alvis, Algimantas, Albus, and Alaire. Her Spear is made by Albus from The bone of a Sea Monster, Silver, Cold Iron, Meteoric Iron, And Orichalcum. Has a Prosthetic Arm of Magic Silver made by Algimantas. Wears her Overseer Ring on her left hand. Overseer Runa. A Norse Elf who along with her sister Huld followed Alvis around for a month or two certain that he was Odin. When the two realized Alvis was in fact not Odin they stuck around all the same. Runa joined the founding Eldritchicians while Huld helps in managing the Archives alongside Sophocles. Runa is basically the Bard (or Skald I suppose) of the Overseers. Has studied under Alvis, Algimantas, Albus, Alaire (for storytelling). Wears her Overseer Ring on his left hand. Overseer Cosmin The Solomonar: as the Title suggests, Cosmin is a (former?) Solomonar. A Wizard (?) From Romanian Folklore (Mythology?). Controls the Weather and rides a Dragon. Runs the Grey School, modeled after his own Education as a Solomonar at the Scholomance. Already knew a whole lot but has studied with Alvis, Algimantas, Albus, Alaire, and studied with Algernon even. Wears his Overseer Ring Overseer Archimedes: A Mothman. Tall black winged thing . Best friend to Alaire. In charge of the Fellows In Grey, a Splinter group in the Fellowship that deals with Cryptids, Aliens, and so on. Does not wear his Overseer Ring nor any of his pins. He leaves all the stuff which denotes him as an Eldritchician with Alaire. Alaire being the only Eldritch Fellow to actually kinda sorta join the FoE. Sophocles of Alexandria: Head Archivist for the Fellowship. He is not really an Overseer....he is imprisoned in the Archives for having tried stealing a book from Alvis...this did not end well for Sophocles place of Employment, The Library of Alexandria (books were sparred, rest was destroyed). Can not leave the Archives. Medusa: Former Priestess of Athena, Gorgon. Studied Alvis’ Wisdom, Algimantas’ stuff (who she hates), Alpheas, and with Albus. In a Trio with Ismene and Prioska. Studied shapeshifters and transformation with Alphaes (spelling?). In a relationship with Ismene. Her serpent locks are Golden. Ismene: Former Priestess of Athena. Also a Former Statue. Still has some Statue characteristics. Studied with Alvis, Algimantas, and Albus. In a relationship with Medusa. Prioska Lakatos: A Vampire from Hungary. Skilled in Clockwork. Has a Coat she stole from Albus. Calls Albus Alucard. Studied under Albus, Alvis, Algimantas, and Alaire. On a Trio with Ismene and Medusa. Also a part of Alyss’ Intelligentsia (keeping track of other secret Societies and Spy things). Loves teasing Quincey. Quincey Johnathan Jack Harker: Eldest son of Johnathan and Mina Harker. Vampire Hunter. Studied with Albus (Ghosts and stuff), Algimantas, Alvis. Duel wields Bowie Knives (one belonging to his Namesake, the other made of Adamant by Albus). Is Bi...not always the brightest...Can see Ghosts. On a Trio with Horatio and Runa. Might be in a relationship with Huld? Lucius Abraham Arthur Harker: Second Harker Son and Younger brother to Quincey. Is not an Eldritchician. He is a ghost though and is haunting his Brother (‘To keep an eye on my dummy of a Brother so he doesn’t get himself killed). Will regularly set up Hauntings so as to set up his brother with Eligible Bachelors and Bachelorettes and so on. Huld: Norse elf who followed Alvis for months thinking he was Odin with her sister Runa. Might be in a relationship with Quincey? Learned from Alaire, Albus, Algimantus, as well Alewar (Eldritch Horrors In a Extra Planetary Or Lovecraftian sense), and Alwin (Fae and Elves). In a relationship with Quincey? Leader of her Trio? Horatio aka ‘Doctor Faustus’: A Danish Man recognized for dressing in all black. Wields a Rapier. Known as Doctor Faustus since he’s studied Demons with Allan and he studied at Wittenberg. Studied with Alaire and has an Awoken Shadow. It is named but he always says it so quietly, only Horatio and Alaire know the name. Quincey has been able to catch that the name of Horatio’s Shadow starts with an H...followed by an A. Horatio has put all his Eldritch studies into Shadows, Demons and Ghosts. It is rumored he gave his Soul over to Allan V Eldritch. Wields a Carnwennanian Dagger Or a Bespoked Bodkin. Leaving his own Shadow...Lighter for lack of a better phrase . In a Trio with Quincey and Huld. Aeschylus Adams: A Werewolf Ranger, and one of Alyss’ Intelligentsia. Think of a mix of Aragorn and Halt O’Carrick. Excellent Thief and Pick pocket. Studied with Alaire (Cryptids, Shadows, and Folklore), Albus, and Algimantas. Studied Druid craft and stuff with Alfr. In a Trio with Midas Little and Murdann. Dr. Mercury Little: one of Four Little Brothers (three of whom are a part of the FoE), differentiated From his brothers by his Seemingly unnatural Silver hair. Studied Angels and Alchemy with Aldread, Albus, Alvis, and Alaire. Murdann Eldritch: A Finwife From Orkney. First Wife of Albus Viggo Eldritch. Joined after having been with Albus for some years. Knows what Albus has to teach, learned from Alvis, and Alfr. An exceptional Healer. Regularly has Weaving Contests with Ismene and Medusa. In a Trio with Dr Little and Aeschylus. Open relationship with Albus. Dr. Hermes Little: Same as Doctor Mercury Little. Only he has white Hair. Eldest of the Little ‘Brothers’. Studied all the same stuff. In a Trio with Charles Williams and Clarissa Williams. Charles Williams: Once an Editor now an Eldritchician. Tried repeatedly to join the FoE and finally managed it after trying forever. Studied Alchemy and Angels with Aldread, Magical Items with Algimantas (specifically Relics), Ghosts with Albus, and a bunch of others (Alvis, Alwin, and Algernon). The Left hand of the Arch Overseer. Go to diplomat between other Secret Societies. One of Alyss’ Intelligentsia( occasionally answers to the Codename Walsingham). Also, I should mention he’s an ESPer....Telepathy, Telekinesis, and Pyrokinesis for fun ;) . Clarissa Williams: Alternate Charles Williams. ESPER, Can see Ghosts Naturally. Intelligentsia member (Code Name Francis). Dr. Midas Little: same as the other Doctor Littles except that his hair is Golden. In a Trio with Tomomi and Dr. Leeds. Tomomi.: a Kitsune, friend to Alyss since she (Alyss) was young. Expert on Yokai and things. Studied with Alaire, Alvis, Albus, Algimantus and Alpheas (because shapeshifting). Just decided to be the guardian of Alvis’ Bookshop when they were in Japan one time. In a Trio with Dr. Midas Little and Dr. Leeds. when not going on solo missions for Alyss. A part of Alyss’ Intelligentsia (Code Name Dee, because she wasn’t fond of Kit Marlowe as a Codename). Doctor Mary Leeds: 12th Child of the Leeds family and the immediate Elder sibling and Caretaker to John Daniel Leeds...aka...the Jersey Devil. A Medicinal Doctor. Studied with Albus, Alvis, Algimantas, and Alaire. Stood up for her baby Brother when he killed one of the Night Crawlers working for Archimedes. She keeps track of Her Brother to make sure he doesn’t cause trouble (otherwise Archimedes and Alaire will need to deal with him). Learned medicine from the Black Doctor Ghost. One of the Fellows In Grey. Developed the spray they use to wipe memories and things. Mr Erland Ranswell: A Grey Alien in a Grey Suit. One of Archimedes’ Fellows In Grey. A Linguist and Cartographer. Has endeavored to learn the Whooping language of the Fresno Nightcrawlers Employed by Archimedes and Alaire. In a Trio ‘officially’ but not really with Dr. Livesey and Dr. Mercury Little. Dr. Yorick Roger Livesey: Once a Ship’s Surgeon now an animate Skeleton (rather than a Ghost like most who stay at Albus’ Lighthouses). Dressed in Piratey clothes and wears one of Albus’ old Coats when not doing Surgery or what have you. Has studied with Albus, Alaire, and Alvis. As well as Algernon. Can not speak and communicates In two ways. Either sign language or a horrible creaking noise that has an echo of bone saws. The first is interpreted by a Talking Raven Named Apollo Teach, the second by a Talking Snake Named Asclepius Hands. Asclepius’ Voice is supposed to serve as an auditory Balm after hearing Yorick Speak. Dr. Livesey gets along with Murdann and Prioska. He works closely with Albus ( being his First mate in a way?). Teaches medicine at Sinbad’s College for Eldritchicians. When out and about he will wear gloves and a mask to hide the whole...being a Skeleton thing. Dr. Mercury Little: Same as the other Little’s his hair is Silver and he looks younger than Hermes Little. Miss Calista Flatwood: Archimedes Second in command for running the Fellows In Grey. Is the Flatwoods Monster.... Mister Ray Green: A little green Alien. Astro Cartographer. Teleportation technology? I don’t know. Just thought to have a little green man. One of the Fellows In Grey. Let’s see am I forgetting anyone...ah right. Rosemary: A Fairy, once Royal Retainer to King Alberich (who is now Alwin) V Eldritch. Corrupter of Words. A Member of Alyss’ Intelligentsia, Rosemary keeps his eye on the the goings ons of The Fae Courts since his Master has had to abdicate. Is ultimately Loyal to Alwin, but works for Alyss under Alwin’s orders. The expert on Fae among the Eldritchicians. The Nightcrawler Corp: A bunch of Fresno Nightcrawlers that act as Scouts and Recon and things. They are Archimedes’ Eyes and ears for all the goings ons of Cryptids and whatever else they’re asked to look into. They answer to Archimedes only or those who relay things from Archimedes. They communicate in a series of Whoops and Kicking. Only Archimedes and Alaire are fluent in their language. The Hide Behind Network/ Erebus Hyde: A Hide Behind was stalking Alaire once...only to get caught by Aldjoy (Alaire’s living Shadow). Alaire befriended the Creature, and gave it the Name Erebus Hyde. The Hide Behind Network is all Hide Behinds being in a sort of Hive Mind (A Hide Mind?) they are many....They are not Shadows as Alaire originally thought. But they are something...something Old...perhaps only younger then the Eldritch Fellows themselves. Certain Eldritchicians (Dr. Leeds, Horatio, Overseer Morgan and others) know when a Hidebehind is behind them, and they will be sure to make people who they’re giving messages to know they’re there. They all answer to the name Erebus Hyde...all address Alaire as Friend, (and Address all the other Fellows by that title)...others they’ll address by their relation to Alaire. Okay..I think that’s everyone! And in Trios to! Be sure to ask any questions about any of these Fellows you might have. Stuff subject to change. Make of this what you will. Figuring names for the Schools of the Fellowship of Eldritchicians...
So...at some point after centuries (?) or expanding the ranks of the Fellowship of Eldritchicians through simple Apprenticeship the Fellowship moved to having actual schools (while still getting new Trainees from senior Eldritchicians sending/sponsoring (if that’s the right word). Settling on having three. All three ultimately answer to Arch Overseer Alyss V Eldridge (might make it Elric...same meaning it seems?) but are day today led by three of the other Six Overseers. One (probably the largest) with Overseer Sinbad Al-Amin as Vice Chancellor(Cartographer and expert on Ghosts, Demons, Djinn, and Fantastic Fauna) The second by Overseer Morgan Maddox.(expert in Primordial Darknesses, Undead, and others. Most into the Monster Hunting aspect of the Fellowship) The Third by Overseer Cosmin Lungu (Former? Solomonar). I know the Third Academy (Institution?) run by Cosmin will be a repurposed Dom-Daniel and shall retain the name it held when it just taught Magic.... But I’m stuck on figuring the names of the other two... One thought was naming them after people...or giving them long names? Hm..with Morgan’s preference on Monster Hunting I imagine she’d want the name of her school to evoke that (while still having the same ultimate curriculum as the other two)...so....hm....The Beowulf Academy for Eldritchicians? Or some such... Sinbad’s...hm...The Academy of Eldritch Knowledge and Practices...Academy for Eldritch Knowledge and Practice. The Fellowship of Eldritchicians Arcane Academy of Wyrd Wisdom, and Preternatural Practice. Or the AWP for short? Oh! It could hav a cool logo of the A W and P with shadows of the A W P or reflections or some such to be the repetitions of those letters...yeah. Wait...Let’s add Supernatural Studies...somewhere. Arcane Academy for Supernatural Studies of Wyrd Wisdom and Preternatural Practice Wait...Extranatural or wait no duh...Eldritch Expertise! Or something. Arcane Academy for Supernatural Studies of Wyrd Wisdom, and Eldritch Expertise In Preternatural Practice. Okay...I think those names should be sufficient? Still not 100 percent certain on the AWP though...hm...ah well. Make of this what you will. Al, the Chronographing Cottager and Prince of Naming

Weapons, Metals, and Items used by the FoE.
Grey Adamant blades. Standard weapon for defensive and offensive purposes. Chosen for its durability, sharpness, and also just because it’s grey and it fits the Arch Overseer’s Aesthetic. Every Eldritchician (barring some exceptions like Medusa, Overseer Archimedes, Intelligencers Rosemary and Charles Williams) usually has their Adamant arms on their person. Eldritch Spectacles/Spectracles: Special Eyeglasses every Eldritchician is given. Meant to protect their sight from things that might harm themselves or their minds. Also allows them to see things that aren’t normally able to be seen. Have been known to give ESPers and those who can already just see Ghosts awful Headaches. These eyeglasses are usually the Rounded colored lens sort but not always. Also come as Goggles if that’s more your style. Damascus Steel blades: Overseer Sinbad knows the secrets of Damascus Steel, his own Weapon (rarely used) being made of it, as is the Symbol for his study of Eldritch Cartography, The Damascene Compass Rose. On occasion or request he will make Damascene blades (or have others do so) as an Alternative to the Standard Grey Adamant. Cold Iron: To ward of Faeries and protect them. Rosemary is odd in that he keep a Cold Iron Dagger on his person while being a Faerie of some sort. Also good against ghosts, keeping them at bay(stings them). Cold Iron is usually the basis for making Cthonic Iron. Vampire/Werewolf Spear: Offensive weapon the original being made for Overseer Morgan Maddox by the Eldritch Fellow Albus Viggo Eldritch. Made up of all the things that can harm Vampires and Werewolves. Like a Boar Spear in that it is meant to keep the Werewolf or Vampire from charging down the Spear to get at the wielder. There are many Vampire spears made...but most are kept in storage and not openly displayed (especially since several Eldritchicians are Vampires and Werewolves respectively). Overseer Morgan though always the original Vampire Spear with in reach or in hand. Bespoken Bodkins/ Shaded Daggers: A specialty weapon only made for a select few who learn from Alaire V Eldritch. Also known as a Carnwennanian Dagger, these are modeled after Arthur’s Dagger Carnwennan and like Carmwennan is very powerful and meant to let the user hide and blend in with Shadows. The Shading comes from the layers (shading) of the user’s own Shadow. Among those who hold These Bespoked Bodkins are Arch Overseer Alyss, Overseer Morgan, ‘Dr. Faustus’, and some others who I forget at present (Huld I think?) Cthonic Metal: Used to do harm to ghosts (usually as a last resort). It is metal that is ‘Killed’ and the spirit of which is used to make the Cthonic Metal. Used in Swords, Daggers, but also Bullets (for only up to Flintlock sorts or earlier). Usually made with already Cold Iron, Meteoritic Iron, and Silver. Silver itself already good for Vampires and Werewolves, but the Cthonic Iron is so that it sticks with the ghost and not merely pass through them. Those who have Cthonic Metal with them include ‘Dr. Faustus’ Quincey Harker, Yorick Johnson, and a few others whose names escape me and others who aren’t named or anything. One last Metal to mention is Orichalcum. Orichalcum is usually a ‘do whatever you want’ sort of thing from what I can gather. Known for being with Atlantis and Aphrodite apparently had Orichalcum Jewelry? Orichalcum is occasionally made into actual weapons on its own...but more often than not it is added to things or used as Jewelry to hold very powerful items. Orichalcum for my purposes will be a booster of sorts, meant to enhance already present magical or mystical properties in a Thing or Person. May also grant a Person abilities and qualities associated with said things. Two examples include the Zodiac Rings made by Algimantas Varrius Eldritch. And another is A Ring made of Orichalcum for Arch Overseer Alyss Violet Eldridge. Hesperidian/ Idunic/ Edenen Cider: Cider made by Algimantas Varius Eldritch and used sparingly with each Eldritchician having a Vial of Hesperidian Cider on Hand (more if they’re Medically focused). Meant to save the life of a dying person...but only if they’re on death’s door! No other time. If they die...well better hope someone is on the way with Gorgonian Blood. Gorgonian Blood: Blood from a Gorgon. Depending on the side it is either a lethal poison (Left side) or something that cures all wounds illness and cure death. Only the Preternatural Intelligentsia have anything with Gorgonian blood from the left side. Phoenix Quills and Fire Kits: Usually just for messages between The Arch Overseer, the other Overseers and the Preternatural Intelligentsia. Phoenix Quills are Writing Quills whose messages can only be read when set on fire. Any fire won’t always work. Regular fire only works for Red Fire, written with a Red Phoenix Quill. From Experimenting by Algimantas, Alyss has a collection of Quills of all the colors of the rainbow and the color of the seal used generally indicates the nature of the message. There are also messages to be read through Rainbow Fire and Grey Fire (from Alyss’ Phoenixes Iris and Faythe respectively)...but those are rare and for certain things. Zodiac Rings: Not sure if I’ll include these with the FoE, but I’l mention them anyway. Made from certain Metals and Gems that with some added Orichalcum allow the user to control the element associated with their Zodiac thing. For example a person who is a Leo would have a Ring made from Gold, Orichalcum and set with Peridot. This would give them control over Fire and stuff. Likely not in wide spread use. Might be determined on if a person holds with Astrology and what not to start with? We’ll see. Edit! Forgot something! The FoE has...some kind of Communication device. But I Haven’t figured out a name yet. Just calling it a Communicator is boring... A Device that works as a Compass/ locator of Eldritch presences (Ghosts/Demons/etc) have also yet to think of a name. Some Translation Aid: to get over Language barriers they FoE has various methods to learning many new languages. Some involve taking the time to learn a bunch of languages, others take quicker routes like blood of mythical beings and things (with said beings permission mind you). Also have a Technological device developed by Extraterrestrial Eldritchician Mr. Ranswell (I’ve forgotten his first name just now). Make of this what you will. Alyss’ Phoenixes, and the implementation of Phoenix Feathers of various Colors.
Long title but a bit of an explanation... So I decided just because really that one of Alyss’ main interests is Cryptographer (Study and Use of Coded Messages with Ciphers and things) because Cryptography is cool, and knowing secret codes and things seem to be a staple of secret societies...and even though the Secrecy of the FoE is probably dependent on the Universe( some places it’s super secret, others it’s a common thing like....for lack of a better example coming to mind, like Huntsmen in RWBY or something)...they should still get codes and Ciphers and stuff. And the one in charge of that department is the head honcho herself Alyss Violet Eldridge. I imagine she regularly is found going over translating ciphers, or translating other things into code. Be it historic texts, Sacred codexes, poetry by the likes of Shakespeare and Sappho, and so on and so forth. Probably has all her Correspondences in Code (for Practice). And if something from her isn’t in Code...then it’s terribly serious and was written in the utmost hurry. Now, another thing is Alyss correspondence are almost always in Code all written Correspondence among the Fellowship of Eldritchicians is written using Phoenix feather Quills. Now, these Quills are acquired by one Algimantas V Eldritch...and are mainly used solely by himself, his fellows and the FoE. Getting the Feathers being quite difficult. This involved finding a Phoenix, domesticating that Phoenix making more Phoenixes from the one (in this case separating the Ashes of a Phoenix do that each little pile becomes its own Phoenix) then plucking the Feathers. To be made into Quills. The thing about Phoenix Feather Quills? Writing with them is kind of like writing with Invisible Ink, except instead of putting the paper before a flame, you just have to throw it in a fire. Then the words kinda pop up and become legible. Another thing is color. You know how when you add certain things to fire it changes color and is really freaking cool? I wondered if that could be done with Phoenixes. It’s like how Flamingos are Pink from all the Shrimp...although...given the things that make fire change color...this might kill the Phoenix on said diet? Like let’s say you feed a Phoenix a bunch of food...but it’s got a bunch of...(looks up stuff that changes fire color)..Saltpeter in it. Phoenix dies...but it comes back Violet? It would be like that to get Quills of different colors. The catch being the messages written with those Quills can only be read in the conditions of the Quills. So if you had one written with a Violet Quill you’d need to throw it into a Violet Fire...any other wouldn’t work. These Quills are probably either storred in a single case surrounded by fire, or Each Quill is in its own case surrounded by fire of that particular Quills Fire. So after Algimantas got a Stock pile of all sorts and colors of Phoenix Feather Quills. He waited for all the Phoenixes to become Ash again, and got all the piles into two distinct piles. One became a beautiful freakin Rainbow Phoenix, the Other Pile became a Grey Phoenix (all the color seemingly going to the other). Took a feather from each to put in his hat (and use as Quills) and then went to visit his Fellow Alvis who had just adopted (got adopted by) a young orphan. Algimantas went to Alvis to gift him the Grey Phoenix...but through a variety of circumstances Alyss received both Phoenixes as a gift. The Grey was name Faythe (taken from how apparently Faythe is supposed to be a Codename in Cryptography for a trusted Courier or confidant). The Rainbow Phoenix....I am not sure. Was looking up names with Messenger in the meaning...Angel is boring...but Malachi might work? Mercury is another possibility, but that might work better for the Grey one even though Mercury is more Silver then Gray? All I know is one of them is named Faythe. Wait a minute! Rainbows! Of Course! Iris!!! Yes. The Rainbow Phoenix will be Iris (after the Goddess of Rainbows and also a Messenger God I think?), while the Grey Phoenix will be Faythe. Alyss is always accompanied by one of them, and if not, she can call them to appear instantly. Her Quarters probably have fixtures that are a mix of a Bird bath and a fireplace for the both of them. They are both sent out (or a smaller aspect of them following the idea of making more Phoenixes by separating Ashes...though they probably are still mentally connected maybe?) to deliver all sorts of messages for Alyss. Those readable with ordinary fire, are usually just ordinary messages. Things like, I need you to do this thing please. Blue Fire...hm...I’m not sure? Probably means it’s something of more importance, do this thing immediately or else, sorta thing. Green Fire...there’s a problem? Or possibly something relating to Algimantas? Something is happening that needs immediate seeing to? Or perhaps it’s for reports on particularly Eldritch and difficult threats? Dark Red is Probably an emergency. Yellow is....warnings, write ups, cautions? I don’t know. Orange...no idea? Any ideas what orange could mean, cause I’ve got nothing. Violet (which are always entrusted to Faythe) are correspondences of a personal nature (since it is from her Alyss Violet Eldridge personally). Could be in friendship, familial (any correspondence she has with any of the Eldritch Fellows), Romantic (though that might be for more of a Blue/Light Violet flame? So as to not be confused with other two? Or have it all) Which kind of Fire you need is generally indicated somewhere. Alyss’ seal on letters is a Big A taking up the seal with a smaller V between the legs of the V and a smaller E within the Arms of the V. Also flanked by two Phoenixes (since the AVE is also used by the Eldritch Fellows) the Fire needed will usually be indicated by the color of the Wax for the Seal. Red, Blue, Violet, etc. Alyss is the only one with a Rainbow Phoenix Quill or a Grey Phoenix Quill. So these are likely are used for things that only she can write. The Rainbow Quill....I don’t know...hm..Rainbows...what do Rainbows signify...oh. That could be...hm. But having Violet be those of a personal nature works well...so perhaps the Rainbow Quill could be...maybe. I had thought that Alyss would be Gay (possibly Bi?)...so perhaps...The Rainbow Quill having an extra Flourish I suppose...I don’t know. Could be for sending good official news in her capacity as the head of the FoE? I don’t know. I’ll figure it out. What makes a Rainbow Fire I do not know. I do know those that those written with the Grey Phoenix Quill are probably something along the lines of Unquestionably Secret Orders from the top(Alyss) for individual Eldritchicians. Since...that would possibly/probably be a thing within the FoE? Something like, retrieve this knowledge/artifact/creature at all and any costs! Or something. What makes a Grey Fire....I do not know. Something spooky probably? So yeah. Alyss’ two pet Phoenixes, her use of Phoenix feather Quills for correspondence, and some meanings for them. Meanings of certain flame colors subject to change...and I have no clue what the work around for this would be (if that’s the right phrase) if an Eldritchician were color blind, or just blind...that will require some thought. Make of this what you will. Al, the Chronographing Cottager and Prince of Naming

Slowly figuring out what a character looks like.
Thinking about the Eldritch Fellows and their looks were simple. Fit their clothes and the color of their clothes and their general looks to their respective businesses. Albus is the dude concerned with Ghosts, Storms and the unknowns of the deep? Make him dress like either a Mariner, Lighthouse Attendant/Pirate, give him long white hair and ghostly pale skin. There. Algimantas? Have him dress in a mix of travelers clothes and rich finery, give him a Bowler hat and Cane! Then you’ve got Alvis, the All wise dude who keeps track of all his fellows and who’s business is the knowing and storing the knowledge of all the Eldritch stuff in existence... Give him robes that are a mix of a University Professor and Gandalf the Grey. A staff for the authority of it...dress him all in grey just cause. Then we have Alyss. Not an Eldritch Fellow, but the adoptive daughter of Alvis...I think I finally know what she’ll look like. Taking a cue from Alvis, dressing all in grey, something one can easily sword fight in should the need arise, debating on giving her a hat or not. On the one hand, hats are always awesome...but on the other hand...hm. Hmmmm. There’s the question of the kind of hat...probably a Bowler? Because Bowlers are nice. Not too fancy like Algimantas’...grey rather than black..probably still has a Phoenix feather Quill though (for all the Cryptographer she deals with). Coming together. Am writing a thing with Alyss in it...might describe her as the other important character of the thing takes in how the two are opposites in terms of look? Hm..I don’t know. Make of this what you will. Al, the Chronographing Cottager and Prince of Naming

Scattered thoughts concerning a new character thing
Atlas Weyland Elric
Basically a Frankenstein monster sort of creature created through the combined efforts of Algimantas Varius Eldritch, Albus Viggo Eldritch, and Aldread V Eldritch after Algimantas read Frankenstein when it originally came out.
Albus only agreed if they all agreed to take some part in caring for and educating Atlas. Atlas' first and second name were agreed upon by the three Fellows.
Albus was the most caring and is the one of the three to actually consider Atlas his son (reason why he has the name Elric. Eldritch would not be entirely accurate, Eldridge as Alyss was named was uncertain so they went with Elric).
Atlas is almost always in the company of Albus alongside the ghosts that regularly escort the Eldritch Fellow.
Atlas knows: Alchemy, Ghosts and various Undead, Angels, Magical Items(though can only make magical weapons), Sword making, Cartography, Poetry (huge fan of the Romantics), Seamanship (a qualified Sailing Master). Plays the Concertina and has a melodious Baritone (I think Baritone is the word? However you describe Stan Rogers' voice). He also paints landscapes and portraits of people
Atlas worked for the Fellowship of Eldritchicians for a time, probably attended Archimago or Suleyman Academy. Was probably on a Trio with Quincey Johnathan Harker...but almost immediately retired to accompany and live with Albus.
Probably attended Dreadrock University for a time, before dropping out halfway through?
I should probably note like Frankenstein of the book (the Creature I mean) Atlas is about 8 feet tall (Albus somewhere around seven feet). he's Wide shouldered, freakishly strong with haunting eyes.
Eyes are something of either a Ethereal ghostly pale blue, electric blue, golden. Actually, lets have it be a mismatched pair of Amber and Blue eyes.? Wears spectacles (most likely because he needs them?)
Hair long and Black witch shocks of Gold and Silver.
Unlike his Creators' very extra wardrobes, Atlas usually just wears a Peacoat and a Marineers/Greek Sailors Cap. He does have a Lighthouse Brooch (Pin?) on the lap of his Coat though.
Probably knows several languages but I'm not certain which ones yet.
Participates when Albus has his War Games with Queen Gloriana
On the cartography thing, regularly visits Archimago Academy and Avalon to keep up to date maps on the constantly changing Landscapes of Faerie and Elfphame.
Is on generally good terms with his creators. As well as his various siblings and cousins (for lack of a better word). On best terms with Alyss(sorta cousin?), Queen Gloriana of Avalon(cousin?), and a handful of the Kleinmann family (cousins/siblings?) most likely Alruna, Panacea, Hermes, Phanos, and Albedo? Basically all the FoE aligned Kleinmann's. On shakier terms with the Kleinmans on staff at Dreadrock.
So yeah...there's that.
Make of this what you will.

The Staff (at present) of Archimago Academy (Part 1)
a note on Archimago Academy before proceeding. Archimago Academy is the first place of teaching new Eldritchicians for the Fellowship founded some time in the later end of the fourth century ad/ce. the Campus or the Academy is the repurposed Tower City Palace of the old Erlking Albrecht (now Alwin) V Eldritch. Located in the exact center of the Ever changing landscape of Faerie and Elfpham. sepersted from the rest of Faerie and Elfphame by the Eldritch Woods. Is expected to still offer housing to the abdica Erlking when he and his Wild Hunt show up after having visited and stayed with the Five Queens/Empresses of Faerie and Elfphame.
Headmistress: Rhonwen Goodfellow deHautdesert aka the Green Lady, aka Lady Bertilak. A native to the Eldritch Woods. One of the Old Fae. Wife to Sir Bertalik de Hautdesert the Green Knight, and sister to the Old Erlking's Corruptor of Words Rosemary Goodfellow. The fourth to hold the position of Headmistress, following Huld, who followed Morgan Le Fay, who followed the Founder and Arch Overseer of the FoE Alyss Violet Eldridge.
Combat Professors: 1) Quincey Johnathan Harker. Human, has stayed alive thanks to being granted a Flask with Indunian Cider from Algimantas Varius Eldritch. Has proficiency with Ghosts and Undead(Vampires especially), Fairies/Elves, and I forget his third Proficiency. Crap. Anyway! Quincy like his name sake is good with a Bowie Knife. The other Combat Professor is Huld. Huld is an elf (likely of Gloriana or Diana's Court), sister to Overseer Runa Ring Maker, sister in-law to Alyss, and one of the first Eldritchicians. Specializes in Spear Combat. Proficient with...I forget exactly. In a trio with Quincey and Horatio.
Professor of Rhetoric: Professor Florimond C. Feather. A Large man that calls to mind an Ape. Is human. Has a Red Beard in a style like Jules Verne or George MacDonald yet the hair on his head is an odd white marking him as an ESPer. Has some Psychic powers, a chilling Pale blue eye that puts one in mind of the Tell Tale Heart. Has himself a Gold Bug Brooch that is in fact a Cipher Beetle used by some members of the FoE's Preternatural Intelligentsia. Helps tend to Runa's Unkindness, is proficien with Ghosts, Cryptid, Angels, and Fairies. Professor Feather is an Alumnus of Dreadrock University. Also acts as a Guidence counselor and assists with the in house Asylum. Prof. Feather comes off as a frightening person, and make no mistake he has potential to be terrifying, but Feather is perhaps one of the most sociable and good humored of the entire staff. Not above playing pranks on his colleug or looking the other way when students play pranks on him. Will not stand for personal insults to anyone though. Has a heavy accent of some sort. Seems like a bizarre mix of French German, and Greek Accents. his accent will not be written out though.
Professor of Logic: Algirdas Simmons. Human, with White hair that indicates he's an ESPer. One of the six Head Intelligencers of the Preternatural Intelligentsia and is often seen as the Arch Overseer's Secretary. Like Prof. Feather Algirdas has himself a Cipher Beetle Brooch of his own.
Professor of Grammar: Hermes Kleinmann. One of many Kleinmann Homunculi made by Aldread V Eldritch who have graduated from Dreadrock University and went on to join the Fellowship of Eldritchicians.
Professor of Ghosts and other Undead: Position shared between Quincey, Prof. Feather, and Horatio.
Professor of Demons: Horatio 'Dr. Faustus' Lykke. A Danish scholar who is currently soulless (soul in the custody of Alan V. Eldritch). Called Doctor Faustus on account of having given up his Soul, and having studied at Wittenberg. Proficient with Demons, Ghosts, Cryptids, and Shadows. Always dressed in Black. To hear him tell it, he is in mourning for a Sweet Prince.
Professor of Angels: Professor Feather, though he shares this position with one Charles Walter Stansby Williams. Yes, that Charles Williams. Basically like real Charles Williams But. I seem to have hit a character limit boo

Seven Academies of the Fellowship of Eldritchicians.
The First: The Academy of Supernatural for Eldritch Expertise in Preternatural Practices. Aka Archimago Academy. Set up some time between the First and Fourth Century AD/CE. Originally led by the Arch Overseer Alyss V Eldridge...in more recent times The Headmaster is the Green Lady (wife to the Green Knight Bertilak) Robin Goodfellow (not that one, but related)Bertilak (or whatever Bertilak’s last name was I can’t remember. H something). She is an Eldritchician but not one of the Seven Overseers (though was offered the position). Located in the Tower City/Castle of Silverwood (will probably change this name) which was the Seat of Power of the Erlking Of Faerie and Elfland The Eldritch Fellow Archimago Alberich (now Alwin) V Eldritch. Had been abandoned for centuries until Alyss won the right to use it for her purposes. Also known as The Convent. Reached through the Forest of Brocèliande Still expected to House the Abdicated Erlking when he visits the Academy. Dom Daniel: Originally a School for Sorcerers and Evil Spirits...these were kicked out by Cosmin Lungu with the assistance of Eldritch Fellow Archimago Albus Viggo Eldritch. Originally and still led by Overseer Secundus Cosmin Lungu and a Rotating Staff of experienced Eldritchicians as Teachers. Beowulf Academy: Set up some time following the exploits of its Name sake. Located in the Lake of Monsters in the very Cave where Beowulf slew Grendel’s Mother. (Omer Addams has been forbidden to set foot on this Academy by his parents, and ‘Uncle’ Algernon). Run for its entirety by Overseer Morgan Maddox (who took over the position from of Overseer Morgan Lefay?) and a rotating staff of other Teachers. Suleyman Academy: Established some time after...the 600s CE? (Some point after the founding of Islam). Located on an eternally moving Island. The Vice Chancellor (with Alyss as Chancellor or Arch Chancellor?) is Overseer Sinbad Al-Amin, aka Sinbad the Cartographer....is probably not Sinbad the Sailor....probably....need to look up dates...but probably not. Currently Unnamed Academy in Russia....Located in one of those Forests you get in Fairytales? Or wherever Koeschi the Immortal hid his Heart...don’t know who it is led by. Just wanted an Academy in Russia to tie into Baba Yaga and Ivan Tsarevich and so on. Don’t know when it was set up...just thinking of having an Eldritchician Academy in Russia for reasons. Baba Yaga related reasons. The FoE has probably tried to Recover or Reverse engineer? The Sampo? New thought. Possibly have the Headmaster be the seemingly Immortal Ivan Tsarevich? From all those Russian Fairytales? Currently unnamed Academy somewhere in Japan? Going to be honest. Just wanted it to be an Odd number...and after thinking up the Russia one tried to think of where else to put one...Japan seemed best what with the various ghosts, demons, and Monsters and things? As well as Alyss having spent some time there in her youth. Only authorizing the establishment of an Academy after her childhood friend, fellow Eldritchician, Lead Intelligencer, and Kitsune Tomomi Arashi bugged her to set one up. She did...expecting Tomomi would step up to run it...only to not do so and stick to Intelligencer things. As for who runs it and where it is...I’ve no clue. Just thought it’d be a fitting place. I’ve just realized I counted Archimago Academy twice so I’m only at Six....frick. There probably won’t be Eldritchicians Academies in the Americas or Africa? I’m not sure? If there’s one in Africa...Egypt will probably be the place for it? Though the Eldritchicians aren’t really there since there’s likely no necessity for them to be there? I’m not sure. If there are eventually Eldritchician Academies set up in America...they likely won’t be as grand as the others...but more do just little areas where Eldritchicians are? Or something? I will try by damndest to avoid pulling a Rowling with any further Eldritchician Academies...and if I’ve somehow done so already by accident..please please please tell me and tell me off or what have you? I’m still not certain of when to set it...but assuming it no earlier than a Victorian Post Victorian setting...(but pre ww1?)...where would be a good place for another Eldritchician Academy? Have I explained what the FoE is well enough for that matter? Answers and thoughts appreciated. Make of this what you will. Al, the Chronographing Cottager and Prince of Naming

The Seven (?) Overseers of the FoE and the Purposes.
Alyss V Eldridge: Arch Overseer. In charge of the whole organization. Other Overseers answer directly to her. When not holed up in her office running things she is off on Odin like adventures seeking knowledge and Wisdom to bring back to the FoE’s Archives and the Archives of her father Alvis Vadim Eldritch. Never sends straight answers in correspondence. If she is just saying something without being cryptic or in some sort of cipher, then something is seriously urgent and possibly wrong. Also runs and organizes the Preternatural Intelligentsia. Six individuals(some official Eldritchicians, some not) who keep an eye on things like Faerie Society, undead Society, Secret Societies and other such things? Has a Symbol of a Silver Dagger, two Phoenixes (one Gray, one Rainbow) all encircled by the symbols of the various fields of study of the FoE. Sinbad Al-Amin: Second in Command of the entire FoE. He is in charge of running one of the Three main Academies (?) for the FoE as ‘Vice Chancellor’(?). He’s Human. Symbol of a Damascus Steel colored Compass Rose and two crossed swords. Morgan Maddox: Third in Command, Monster Hunter. Heads one of the three Academies meant to train Eldritchicians. Human? Symbol of a Spear, sword, Dagger and skull?
