thank you, from the bottom of my heart to weevildoing and the entire tptm fandom for this journey. As of writing this, tomorrow the last girl will come out.

Tptm has become one of my favorite albums by far, and every song and character is as fun as relatable and beautiful in so many ways.

It's a bit odd to think that we will no longer have any new album songs to expect; we have been doing so for long (or at least in my case) that it will be strange to just... have it complete.

See the problem is I can acknowledge that Ezio is probably a better written character than Altair and his interactions with other characters like Leonardo and Rosa are all handled fairly well but also there’s just something about Altair being such a fucking idiot that he basically has to run around the Holy Lands sulking while Malik calls him a little bitch that I don’t think any other ac protagonist has ever matched

Do you know that feeling that whenever you look over a ledge, you have this... urge to lean in further?

You could easily topple over to the abyss with just one nudge.

Many have claimed that the exterior architecture of Diasomnia can be quite... nauseating. Its geography consists of steep landmasses that seem to float over a foggy abyss. These literally breathtaking characteristics are highlighted with the dorm's entrance: a bridge with a concerning lack of guard rails. Quite a nightmare for acrophobic students, especially to those who unfortunately have to reside in this building.

Unsurprisingly, there have been instances where one or two students have strayed from seemingly safe paths into the infinite depths below. Witnesses claimed to seeing a Diasomnia student being the one to push them to their doom. However, such testimonies were remarked to be hearsay by the Headmage, therefore not being taken seriously.

One witness claims they were a close victim of this student.

They say that they had a heated debate with their friend regarding on whether the foggy pit below Diasomnia was bottomless or not. The witness was on the side arguing that it wasn't bottomless at all, however their friend was headstrong with their opinion. Thus, the only way to settle this was to actually observe the abyss itself.

The answer was clear even without close examination: there was definitely a visible bottom in the pit. Despite everything, the other remained stubborn and refused to acknowledge the obvious truth.

Then, an uninvited guest came over— A Diasomnia student with a green scarf. He claims to be there to settle a score for the bickering pair.

"You should take a closer look."

With one nudge, the two were pushed over the ledge.

One held for dear life, while the other accepted defeat.

Turns out, the foggy pit below Diasomnia wasn't bottomless at all.

All it took was one nudge to find that out.

If this question is too personal you are welcome to ignore it but, what was it like figuring out your identity and telling friends and family? I'm always interested in other's stories about that kind of thing

Nah it's fine, it was kind of a... journey? Which is pretty typical I think lol. As far as figuring out my identity, I realized I wasn't straight way before I realized the whole nonbinary thing, and I repressed the sexuality realization so well (and multiple times lol) that I actually forgot about it. Like I procrastinated my own "gay panic" moment until it was totally undeniable lmao

So yeah if you ignore the time I accidentally came out to my dad when I was like 8 I came out to my oldest sister first (and she totally already knew because I was not subtle and she had kept bringing up her friends who weren't straight like "yeah my good friend from college and his husband. With whom he is in a very loving and happy gay marriage) and then one by one I came out to my immediate family members. I got pretty lucky because they're all pretty laid back so they were pretty indifferent to it. Good indifferent though, like "cool, do you wanna play Mario kart?"

(As we got older my two closest brothers decided that we're only a trio of dudes (semi-gender neutral) though, so my younger brother has declared that if I bring a guy home he needs to fight us to the death and take the place of the loser and he seems intent on it being me who loses lmao)

Then when I figured out I wasn't cis I pretty much just repeated the process, but it came much easier because I'd already done it once. Is it bad that the music video for Tous les mêmes by Stromae was the thing that made me go "uh-oh I'm discovering things again" lol

I... don't think I've ever actually officially/formally come out to any friends? It's more like I just don't hide it and let things come up in conversation, and most of the people I'm friends with are in the lgbtq+ community anyway so they can smell it on me lol

Metaphor Refantazio X Re:Creators crossover could be cool

Like as someone who is slowly making their way through the game, it has those themes of both the separation and interconnection between fiction and reality. And Re:Creators is about how fictional stories inspire people in real life, and the struggles of being someone who creates their own fictional world. And other stuff but I’m not making an organized essay right now.

Basically I am listening to Layers, and remembering Meteora, Alicetaria, Selesia, and Altair because of how their aesthetics fit in with metaphor.

The Meteora(delusional design) from the mid season summary kind of makes me think of Will

Alicetaria kind of gives me vibes of both Strohl and Hulkenberg.

Altair and Louis would be problematic besties I think

LIST OF INCENSES I THINK AC 1 - AC UNITY CHARACTERS WOULD LIKE

credentials: (1) incense is a big thing in my country both for daily and religious uses; (2) i have a shit ton of incenses bc i use them regularly

ALTAÏR IBN LA'AHAD — his most familiar scent is frankincense bcs either umar or rashid lit up a lot of frankincense (haha old man incense). BUT his favorite scent is jasmine because it's sweet and calming it's like a soothing balm to his running thoughts and worries. also the scent of jasmine here has supernatural connotations, so i think it's fitting for altaïr as the master assassin herald of death etc etc

MALIK AL SAYF — oud. definitely oud. very charismatic and heavy. definitely suits him bcs as soon u enter his space u will think he's someone not to be trifled with. it also has a family/brotherly connotation to it which suits malik. if u want combination; oud + sandalwood

KADAR AL SAYF — champaca. it's sweet and bright. reminds u of a singing bird maybe? if u catch a whiff of it in the wind it feels like napping in a hazy afternoon.

MARIA THORPE — jasmine with tuberose. almost woody? floral. probably reminds you of moonlit night with silk curtains blowing in the wind

EZIO AUDITORE DA FIRENZE — sandalwood. a classic. with frankincense and myrhh. this scent reminds me of church (our churches usually light these scented incenses). it's heady and heavy. if you smell it too much it can overwhelm you.

LEONARDO DA VINCI — citrus and agarwood. very playful and has creative vibes to it. it also smells very unique and reminds me of a warm person

CONNOR KENWAY — majegau. this one is very specific. majegau is a type of tree sacred to people in bali region (i'm from java so i dont know much). but the scent is very mountainous. it reminds me slightly of sandalwood but much lighter, and gives off a more foresty vibes. it has a very respectful but down-to-earth air to it that suits connor's person

AVELINE DE GRANPRE — citrus and vanilla. i'll be honest i never had this one, but i'm trusting what people said. it's apparently very unique and refreshing scent when burnt. kind of woody surprisingly with just a hint of sweetness to it. i also think aveline would like clove incense. it's sweet and has something underneath that feels like it's ready to strike

ADÉWALÉ — also an oud enjoyer methinks. maaybe oud + frankincense. i think smelling the incense will help settle down his thoughts and pain, bcs it's a very meditative and heady scent. charismatic vibes

EDWARD KENWAY — tobacco, clove, and cinnamon. it's smoky and heady. kind of pirate vibes. it's a very overwhelming scent to some people bcs of the tobacco

HAYTHAM KENWAY — i feel like he has a very old man taste so i'm chucking lotus OR frankincense. i think he'd like both bcs they're the most "classic" incense scents. definitely charismatic tbh

SHAY CORMAC — tobacco. smoky. just a classic "smokes and mirrors". it's kinda sad? it's a very lonely scent i think

ARNO VICTOR DORIAN — vanilla with sandalwood. it's heady and sweet with woody undertone to it. it has a european vibes to it that i personally dont like to light (vanilla doesnt smell good in humid weather to me), but definitely suits arno. it's sensitive yet strong, kind of tragic

ÉLISE DE LA SERRE — rose. definitely rose. cloying, floral, and sweet. has mixed receptions; it's a classic scent but i personally dont like it. i think it suits élise for her complicated nature. flitting and impossible to mistake

Charr Headcanons: Sleeping Patterns

Actually, if I'm going to get myself back in the habit of using this blog as... a blog for my own stuff. Might as well share one Charr hc that's been rattling across my head.

That being: To me Charr are not cats but that doesnt mean they dont experience any of their feline qualities. When it comes to sleep that would mean that for alot of them they could sleep pretty much whenever and whererever.

But! I dont think it's that cut and dry, I think it's actually pretty dependent on the Charr and their duties. Blood and Iron, who regularly just work all day long and then have their leisure time scheduled outside of their duties would just sleep through the night as usual. No need to nap intermittently if you've always got work or fun to be had right?

For Ash however, due to them being... less rigid, in that sense (to me) they are much more likely to have more sporadic bits of sleep. Not uncommon to find, if you go looking, an ash soldier/operative hidden away somewhere having a short nap in some random bit of downtime that hit them.

This isn't something theyre stuck with either! I think they can, with effort, swap between the patterns too if so needed. Sometimes Iron works on projects that has alot of waiting required so might aswell have the workers run staggered shifts. Sometimes Blood is just.. running standard patrols and they dont have a day full of excitement and violence for them.
