#Also they definitely sacrificed a LOT of characters' personalities in this movie and it showed

What are your thoughts on s4? Personally I was actually kind of disappointed, a lot of the characters felt... off?? Not like themselves. Snufkin really didn't appear much and the Comet Episode was confusing and wasn't really all that Book-Accurate... And Snufkin got the 90s Movie treatment :(
Like there were definitely scenes and a few episodes I liked, but overall I feel weird about the season. And I'm curious what your thoughts are.
I will say that overall, I was disappointed.
To be fair to the series though, it arguably largely stems from my personal expectations and hopes? The two biggest disappointments for me were Joxter and Snufkin not meeting, and snufmin's relationship.
The Joxter stuff on the whole I adored, and really could never have dreamed of happening. Just seeing him - or any of the Oshun Oxtra crew, really! - interacting with the characters in "modern day" is great. And then he reunited with Mymble and it was so exciting, and then Little My started wondering about him and Snufkin, and then-! ...They didn't meet. Honestly baffles me why they'd give us so much fanservice but not include probably the main thing most fans would want to see with Joxter. Also interesting that they're afraid to even touch Snufkin's issues with family but they KEEP bringing up Little My's.
The snufmin thing surprised me because my expectations were LOW; during the wait I kept telling people not to get their hopes up, that snufmin would never be explicitly "canon", etc. And I still say they would never do anything explicit with them, however, I was expecting at least for the relationship to be on the same level as it was in season 3, but it seemed to take a step down unfortunately. I wanted more romantic subtext, more hints that something was up between them, and for about the first 4 episodes I thought Moomintroll and Snorkmaiden were finally just interacting as friends and I was hopeful, but unfortunately it was soon clear that they were still supposed to be romantically linked. To their credit, Moomintroll and Snufkin's relationship does maintain some of the development it grew throughout the series, and it funnily ends up presenting it almost as one-sided on Snufkin's side; he's now so much more openly affectionate and patient with Moomintroll, and their communication is a whole lot better, but the latter continues to pursue Snorkmaiden instead. I think Snufkin himself feels so mellowed out in this season, like he's no longer fighting against his own feelings or pulling away from others as much, which is nice to see (though I can see others complaining he's too out-of-character compared to his original counterpart, which is understandable, but I'm personally fine with the characters being "different versions" of themselves in adaptations).
Another disappointment for me was, like you mentioned, the Comet finale... it just wasn't as epic as I thought it'd be, and the stakes weren't high from the start, and after the journey was over the rest of the episode taking place in the valley was a bit dull and directionless. And inaccuracies from the book I expect by this point, but I'm personally not a fan of the ending change with them all just waiting outside to die but the Groke sacrificing herself but actually this is a family show so she's actually alive yaay 😂 Just a bit strange and not the send-off I was quite hoping for.
On the positive side, I LOVED Mamma and Pappa this season. Moominpappa kinda stole the show, and whilst the creators clearly favoured him in past seasons, in this one he finally lost that meanness he sometimes had in s1-3, so he was just a delight to watch.
The guest stars and characters were fabulous, which is a bittersweet thing as it makes it all the more sad that this is the final season and it's all we'll see of them.
The animation and music and sound and acting were all as wonderful as they always are. The crew did such a great job and it's a shame the story decisions dampened the experience for me.

Hi uh I'm taking the last few posts as indication that you've watched TF:One so do you have any thoughts? Any discussion points, anything you adored/despised and thing you'd like more context on?
I only managed to see at the last week before it was pulled out at my local theaters, but I did enjoy it.
The visuals and designs were top-notch, the movements and background settings were amazing (like hello underground cityscapes my beloved), D-16's pretty optics, Megatronus Prime never becoming the Fallen, return of the Quintessons, the Cybertronian fauna of the surface, and Sentinel's character were just chef' kiss.
In terms of complaints: it basically comes to pacing, plotholes, and personal preferences.
The movie really did show the epic bromance between D-16 and Orion Pax in short scenes with so many details, and yet D-16 to Megatron was, in my opinion, a fast-paced downward spiral. Understandable, but considering D-16 played the brakes to Orion's impulsive plans... It was jarring.
The team really put in a lot of thought into so many iconic characters, even as a cameo, but nearly all the Autobot High Command used to be Cogless? Really? Yes, there was Dr. Ratchet, but everyone else was stuck as a miner and didn't have the chance to develop all those crucial skills that were instrumental for the war against then legendary High Guard (on a side note, they didn't starve to death and had no mention of other city-states for support)? Also, where's the administration and support systems that run Iacon? Shoot, where's Sentinel's own aides, Councilmembers, and other political entities? He took down the Thirteen all by himself? No one else in the conspiracy? Really? (I'm a little low-key salty that the Primes don't have that divine flare, but that's the fantasy/horror part in me talking.)
Okay, so the personal preferences... as much as I liked the concept of Optimus and Megatron coming from the same origins, the execution on Orion Pax's part kinda flopped. It felt like it fell into the same trap with the Aligned verse's handling, where they really tried to underscore the differences but sacrificed the cohesion of the story. @lets-try-some-writing 's post on their thoughts of TFOne, particularly on Orion Pax, really resonates with me because why does he constantly sacrifice his safety to find the Matrix compared to everyone else? A similar complaint for Elita. I'm not expecting sugar and floof, but the way her character was handled left me floundering since the creators put a lot of thought on D-16's and Orion's relationship but left us hanging on a different vibe, a completely other spectrum, with Elita compared to other iterations.
Granted, it can be the Opilita shipper in me mourning, but Elita got done dirty. The 'hardass boss' would have served someone else, like Ultra Magnus, Kup, or Scrapper, if they used another 'main' character, or they could have pulled Terminus that's playing between keeping the topside goals and minimizing underground casualties. Plus, I think it could have been interesting to see Terminus being the driving force between Orion's quest and D-16's admiration for Megatronus Prime. I would move Elita into the Cogged Cybertronians and let her be Orion's partner-in-crime. Maybe as a dock worker as an ode to her G1 origins and acts as a smokescreen/voucher for Orion outside the mines, and Orion is showing her all the secret passages and knowledge she would never had access because of her own station. It could have shown so much more of that Cybertron under Sentinel's rule and the policies he implemented. Plus, I need Elita and Orion to be dumbasses together (and for D-16 to rib Orion over his crush and Chromia to do the same with Elita).
Overall, it was a solid movie. Definitely recommend it.

OKAY I NEED TO TALK ABOUT TFONE BC IT WAS PHENOMENAL SO A LOT OF SPOILERS UNDER THE CUT BC I BASICALLY TALK ABOUT THE WHOLE MOVIE
Okay so, like right off the bat this movie is just gorgeous, the lighting and the atmosphere for everything was spectacular and incredibly well done, all the actors did a lot better than I thought they were going to which was nice
Bumblebees comedy definitely fell flat a lot for me, but this movie is so funny if you have the same humour me n my friends do 😭 it was very good at being unintentionally funny me thinks
god some of the tense scenes were done really well, like I adored the first encounter with the Quintesson ship and Orion has to keep Bee from falling into sight it’s so good
all of the fight scenes were really good!! There was a lot of weight to their actions and they utilized the fact that robot joints DO NOT have the same limitations as human ones, so people shift and move in odd ways to keep them in the fight it’s so good, especially Elita I noticed
Sentinel and Airachnid we’re really good villains I think personally, Sentinel had a lot of character and he was definitely one of the funnier parts of the movie as awful as he was
I adored Alpha Trion so much and I was so sad when he was killed by Sentinel but I also thought the shot of it was so cool, a lot of the framing was really good, I thought it was really interesting that it was almost like they let AT keep his dignity by not letting you see all the damage that killed him
and then that just leads into Sentinels death, no hiding, no dignity, Megatron ripped him apart
god all scenes w/ D-16 and Orion were so good, they felt like friends to me, and watching them process the world around them as it changed was so good, Pax’s want to save his fellow man vs D-16 want for vengeance it was spectacular
(“I want to kill him” CHILLING. “I’m done saving you,” CHILLING.)
the fight with Sentinel at the end I just adored, so much was happening there, like the fight with Starscream definitely established D-16’s path, but the “I’m not kneeling for you” was the nail in the coffin I think
but also!!! The dichotomy in so many of D-16 and Orions scenes after the Elite Guards intro, D-16 fights and takes control of the Elite Guard bc it’s one persons power over another, Orion Pax finds all of his friends in the place they all hung out in and kneeled down to them so that he could talk to them, tell them the truth, ask for their help bc he is their equal
oughhh it’s so good
D-16 and Orions scene where D is trying to kill Sentinel and Orion takes the blast was my favourite one in the movie, him shooting and practically killing his friend and then desperately catching him before he falls in before he realizes that it’s all over, that he’s done saving him, and Orion falls in
the scene as it shows what it took for them to finally step into their roles, Megatron is defined by taking power and Optimus is about sacrificing himself for the greater good, like I don’t have the words to describe the scene much more atm but it’s genuinely phenomenal, it’s one of my favourites
idk, this movie felt like it loved the fans and was made by people who loved the franchise, it was really really good

**SPOILERS AHEAD BEWARE**
Agatha All Along just came out, heres what I think about it.
So, starting off with the cinematic factors of it, I loved it. it was exactly what I was expecting, nothing less. I was very surprised with the plot though. It was so so funny, I had watched it with one of my friends and she loved it as well. Props to all who were apart of Agatha all along. The references of witchy movies, like the trap door and Snow White? I loved that Easter egg, I probably sound crazy but I swear it’s there.
I loved how dramatic Agatha was, her sarcasm, her impaticnce, her wickedness, spot on, even her haterd for Wanda. Agatha has lots of emotions, as much as I can tell. She just conceals them so much. She looks conflicted and angry when she sees Rio, she seems playful and antagonizing with Jen, laid back with Lilia, dismissive with Alice, impatient with Ms. Davis, and genuinely irritated and annoyed with Teen. She seems much more open on the show, less… distant and cruel? Maybe it’s the many many fics I’ve read that’s clouding my judgement but I was surprised to say the least. But it wasn’t a bad one. I love Agatha in this, there’s so much to tell about her her life, and I’m hyped to find out what’s up.
(Side note, one of my predictions was right! Rio's magic is in fact not something that can be taken. That was one of the few predictions I had made, and I'm so glad that that little detail was right.)
And Rio?! Oh my goodness, she's just as cryptc and lore filled as I imagined her. Her harshness with an underlined gentleness is killing me! And her licking Agatha’s hand better? Oh my that had me in a chokehold, so many golden ideas portrayed beautifully. And I have reason to believe that Agatha sacrificed Nicholas. The first sign is the childhood bedroom from episode one, Agnes being upset about it, two, the jab that Jen made, and three, when Rio mentioned the Darkhold, and its darkness, theres definitely some lore there, and I think it’s something that Agatha caused. Also does anyone have any clues as to what Rio says when she makes her dramatic exits? I only know some Spanish, but I’m not fluent 😭
Anywho, let’s talk about Teen. So when I first saw him I was fairly surprised. I didn’t expect him to try and steal something, nor did I know that it was an illusion of some sort? Maybe? Whatever it was, I know that Teen is not to be underestimated. He has some powerful qualities, even if it’s not as flashy as Agatha or Wanda’s. I love his perkiness and how he’s just happy to be there, even if it is as Agatha’s ‘pet’.
My next victim is Lilia. I had originally thought that she couldn’t use her magic or, predictions freely, only when vision came. But I was happily wrong. I don’t think she can use it whenever though. I love her style as well, such a level of grace and colorfulness really brings her character together. Patti did a fantastic job of portraying someone as kooky as Lilia.
Now we have Jen. I knew that they had some history because if something Kathryn had said on an interview, but I don’t think it was a lot. But clearly something went down to make Jen have a level of hatred towards her. But besides that, I get aesthetic, the pinks, the candles, the jewelry? It’s all so beautiful, I especially loved the septum piercing. It was a cute touch. Anyways, moving on from that, Agatha had mentioned that Jennifer is magic bound because of some curse? I wonder what that’s about. Over all, I adore Jen’s personality, I love how she knows what she’s worth and that she seems to always know what to say. She’s very confident of herself which is something I live to see. And I can see how Jen’s sarcasm and Agatha’s sarcasm may clash from time to time.
Moving on, we have Alice to discuss. Now I have written a little about how I portrayed her in my fic Natural Order, and I think I got her pretty well. I surprised myself I’m gonna be honest. I was half expecting her to be the exact opposite, but that’s a happy accident I guess. Anywho, I love her style as well, I wish we got to see more if the ship she had formally worked at, it was such a cozy and spooky place, I wouldn’t mind working there myself. The designers outdid themselves truly. Alice is very dismissive, and is always one step ahead, I love that about her (so far). She seems to be pretty laid back, while also being very vigilant as well.
Lastly, but certainly not least, Ms. Davis. I find her absolutely darling, she was so sweet and I had a good laugh when she came on screen. I love her obliviousness and utter happiness to be included, similar to Teen in that way. I hope she sticks around, u trying so, there’s not a bone in my body that doesn’t like her, she’s such a good ‘temporary’ addition to the coven.
The Salem seven seem to be like… the witch police? Maybe? I’m excited to see more of them.
Honorable mention: Senor Scratchy serving as always.🫡
A little treat I took:
(Also, height difference??!!! Loved that shot.)

‘THE IDOL’ READING
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
what were sam levinson's intentions with the idol?
it's definitely something very personal to him. it's his own selfish fantasy. on set or during the writing process, he was likely very difficult, stubborn and particular with everything. he also wants this to be big, he wants to outdo his previous projects and to even almost sabotage his competitors within the industry, so he's made an effort go above and beyond. he had a particular focus on the women in the show, making sure they could give want he wanted to the best of their ability (he wanted them to appear young, dumb, and wild). there's also a kinky element he was particularly fascinated with. it seems it involves little play or ddlg, or it could just be that he wanted to really show off how petite lily rose depp is. there is an emphasis again that he really wanted the project to be his ideas.
what were the weeknd's intention's with the idol?
so for the weeknd it seems he had been interested in making a tv show or movie for a while, he's probably had this somewhat planned for years. for him, this is fulfilling a dream (another achievement he can add to his career). he also feels this is brave of him, he wanted to really challenge himself and make something regardless of how people may criticise it. he wanted to prove to himself he could do something unrestrained and new. you know the sort of vibe of if you want to write a vulnerable poem but you keep watering it down and editing it because you get embarrassed, you don't want people to judge your writing or what it's about - he was pushing himself to do the exact opposite of that. he wanted it to be something people look back on and see it as timeless. however, it seems as it was finally being put into production it leaned away from this vulnerability a bit and became something different. he is hoping for a lot of social media success, he hopes to see a lot of people talking about it (he wants it to be a success amongst gen z to the extent that it sparks trends).
what does sam levinson think of the idol's outcome (how the show turned out)?
he thinks it's turned out well. he thinks he basically achieved his goal at this point. he hired attractive people, he got his way most of the time and he feels it's going to be successful. he is proud of how different he thinks it is. he feels the show has "everything". however, he sees a lot of problems with it too due to his critical nature. his feelings so far are a bit mixed and will become more settled once he sees the public's reaction.
what does lily rose depp think of the idol?
she's pretty apprehensive about it, she's worried about the reaction to it and she thinks she signed up for more than she bargained for (or than she initially wanted). she doesn't know if she should regret being in this show or not. she also feels she sacrificed a lot for this show and wishes she wasn't bossed around as easily as she was. she might have been high on set often, or is now too, and it helps her feel more chilled out about it. as for the story itself, she really isn't happy with it and thinks it's too much but she likes that she's the main character for something and likes how she looks aesthetically.
what does jennie think of the idol?
she thinks it's risky, rebellious and will get a lot of people talking. she thinks the show will be trendy and popular. she thinks the show is pretty exploitative. she believes men involved in the show "won" this one. she doesn't know if she necessarily would have joined this project if it weren’t for running the risk of ruining her connections, but she is happy her connections and relationships have remained positive (it was one of those things where you said yes and even if you wanted to contemplate backing away you just couldn't, so there’s no point even dwelling on it). she also believes her image is pretty protected and the show doesn't make her look bad. she thinks overall this was a good opportunity for her.
what does lily rose depp think of sam levinson?
she thinks sam levinson had a fixation on her and expected a lot from her. he bothered her a lot, he was obsessive in a way, constantly talking to her and asking her questions but she thought he was also "sweet" (but it’s also the vibe where a guy is being nice to you because you know he wants to sleep with you). she finds him to be persistent and hardworking but overbearing and smothering. she knew it was important to him for this project to outdo himself and his competitors, so in this sense she sees him as pretty greedy but also ambitious in a clever way. she thinks he is manipulative and guilt trips people to make them more reliant on him.
what does jennie think of sam levinson?
she thinks he's a very fake person, being unable to grasp his real personality has caused her to not really have much of an opinion of him. she wants to be careful around him and they're casually polite with each other. she doesn't know him that well but thinks he has a lot of ideas. she worries he my have a temper.
what should audiences expect from the idol?
pandering to men (both from the show in general and the storyline).
women being mean to each other, pushing each other down and competing with each other (catfighting, pick-me behaviour or women demeaning each other etc.)
a very messy story where the characters experience a lot of highs and lows.
really mean and even abusive behaviour - everyone is always hurting each other and breaking each other's trust.
exploitation of young people (not just sexually but seeing them really hurt and wounded overall).
lots of sex and sexual scenes (especially from women).
the story might also go off the rails a little bit or end in a confusing way - there's this sense of even though we don't know sam levinson's personal fantasies, you somehow watch it and can tell it's his fantasy and that it took precedence over the story itself at times.
scenes with questionable ethics and laws being broken (e.g. drug use).
a trendy aesthetic.
a witty dialogue with some quotable lines (even if used as memes).

Introduction
Welcome to the untamed wilds traveler. Take a rest by the river and speak to this wolf all your worries.
Anyway, hello there! You all may call me The Fenrir, or Fenrir when not using formalities. I have many identities, but this one is where I will chronicle my journey with my alterhumanity. That, answer asks about our knowledge of the communities I inhabit, or just generally whatever alterhuman posts I am feeling like posting about.
I do not know everything as I am not a therian and I am not physically alterhuman (to my knowledge at least). So I cannot talk about experiences on those. I have only been awakened fully since this year. I presume I have been awakened longer, approximately 2-3 years, without knowledge of the terms. Though, topics I am open to talking about are what I am, which I will explain later in this post. I am also willing to talk about my own experiences and how my alterhumanity affects me and my day to day life. Though, I should warn that I will talk about the negative sides as well. Things such as negative shifts (as I experience them) and the negative sides to my alterhumanity. Though, I will combat those posts with positive ones.
Some more information, I am 21 years old and have several queer identities. The more important ones being that I am a (trans)demiboy, demiaroace, and polyam with 3 lovely partners.
Identities
In this portion I will be explaining my experiences with my identities. Is it a lot of labels? Perhaps. Though, I think it's generously also organizes each one. In each label I will explain what they are for anyone awakening or wanting to know about linktypes.
Otherkin
A basic understanding is that otherkin are those who involuntarily identify as something not of this world. Such examples include gods, aliens, elemental, dragons, vampires, zombies, et cetera.
Type(s):
Drago~ Specifically a chaos/space dragon. I get intense shifts, especially of the phantom and astral variety. I am naturally carnivorous and I have only experienced primarily good feelings during shifts.
Copingkin
To note: This is a term underneath the otherkin umbrella, as otherkin includes coping based identities. I prefer to separate these two terms due to how different my experiences with these terms effect my day to day life.
My understanding of copingkin in that one involuntarily identifies as a certain being as a means to cope. This could be for a variety of reasons. One can be a domestic breed of dog, another can be a character from Baulder's Gate 3, and maybe someone identifies as the nemean lion.
Type(s):
Fenrir~ Ah, what this blog is based on. Anyway, I intensely awakened as the fenrir this year due to what I perceived as severe betrayal where I reacted in a way similar to the Norse story "The Binding of Fenrir." I only Identify as the Norse myth version as it was the closest to my feelings and shifts. My shifts tend to be very negative. Perception shifts tend to be the most common and the hardest to come down from for me. It's not all bad though.
Fictionkin
Those identifying as fictionkin are those who involuntarily identify as a character from a piece of media. From books to shows/movies, to video games. Is it a fictional character one involuntarily identifies as? They could definitely be fictionkin.
Type(s):
Julian Devorak (The Arcana: A Mystic Romance)~ This is my oldest type surprisingly. His martyr personality and his fatal flaw of sacrificing himself and working himself into the ground is what made me connect and see me as him. Along with uncanny similarities between our lives. I don't shift often with him. It is more of a situation where if I see art of him, I just think 'Oh hey, that is me.'
Otherhearted
This is a touch different than a kintype as you involuntarily identify with something, rather than as that something. Can be anything, or multiple anythings. It's what you involuntarily identify with that matters.
Type(s):
Lucifer (Clado?)~ There is no real one depiction of Lucifer I do not identify with. Though the strongest ones tend to be closer to the biblical depiction and the Netflix show Lucifer. This is possibly because of my journey with religion (I am not Christian in any sense other than agnostic). I don't have a lot of shifts to my knowledge, but that's fine by me.
Otherlink/Copinglink
Note: I have combined them due to what I have now learned.
Otherlink and Copinglink are synonyms. Normally used interchangeably. These are terms when one links to, or voluntarily identifies as, something for any reason. I tend to associate copinglink with coping with something, but that isn't the case for all. Use these terms however you wish. Anything can be linked to for any reason, like if it is for the fun of it.
Type(s):
Anatolian Shepherd/Saint Bernard Mix (Copinglink)~ I aim to please and am used to wrangling others together. I linked specifically to a domestic mutt as a means to cope with my copingkin and the negative feelings it brings about at times. Seeing myself as a big, goofy, lovable dog makes me feel at ease. Especially with my eagerness to please. It is also due partially because of how I love, like a dog. Even if I'm hurt.
Telemachus (EPIC: The Musical/The Odyssey) (Otherlink)~ I took some time to read The Odyssey (still in the process of it as well) and have been listening to EPIC. Telemachus reminds me of myself when I was younger and had more of an optimistic and ambitious outlook on life. He is partially a copinglink as I envy he and his father's relationship. The way he looks up to his father was the same way I did with my own. I knew something was there, but it didn't fully connect as a hearttype or as a kintype. So, linktype it was.
Questioning/Considering
Considering (Linktypes): Odysseus (EPIC: The Musical/The Odyssey)~ I am currently doing research by finishing the book and waiting for the musical to finish, which will not be until the end of this year I would assume for the musical. This is because some of the things that happen to him in The Odyssey I have never experienced (besides fighting off monsters) personally. Though, there is a part of me that feels a connection there somewhere.
Questioning (Theriotypes/Kintypes/Hearttypes): None at the moment.
Boundaries
Now, onto important information on this blog. My boundaries are to be followed. I am not afraid to block if someone completely disregards them.
I do not want to deal with drama. If I am wrong, respectfully let me know by sending a message, by reblogging the reply, or by commenting. I am learning and some labels I do not know much about. I am constantly learning, and constantly pursuing my own self-education on certain topics.
I still bleed the same blood. Do not harass me under any circumstances. Respect me and I will respect you in return. I enjoy a good jest every now and again, but even every now and again I do find some things over the line. Do not joke at my, or others, expense for laughs.
Do not harm others who are on my blog without just reasons. I am one who believes in innocent until proven guilty. This is due to some issues in my own past. I do not enjoy drama either as stated before. So if something is going on with a certain user, respectfully let me know and I will fix what I need in the way I choose to do it.
When doing asks, keep away from NSFW topics. While I am above the age of consent, I do not want to go into that on this blog. Nor am I interested in sharing any accounts as such. What I do is private, and is not exactly appropriate for my blog.
If I say to quit it, I mean it. When I say "quit it" I mean to cut it out and act your age. As it may be seen in my boundaries, you must give respect to earn respect. We talk thing out if something happens. I will not argue if someone is acting like a toddler with their arguments. (For example: an Anti telling me to end it. I consider it childish, showing that you have the emotional comprehension for others on the same level as a young child who knows no better.)
If you interact with the ask box, please be kind. While I may seem to be able to handle those who are acting like pains, I can be surprisingly sensitive. Coming at me guns-a-blazing or keyboard warrior like, I get extremely anxious when reading them. I spiral quickly. I tend to understand if people are upset, but if I feel threatened, I will bite back with a block. No questions asked there.
DNI
This will be interesting. Lets see how many respect my do not interact list. I will block anyone who doesn't respect my interaction boundaries.
Harmful paraphilias. Those who claim to be MAPs or Zoos and other similar paraphilias. I find them disgusting. I do not care to know if you are in recovery. Stay off of my blog.
Anti-Alterhuman (and others like them). I believe this is reasonable since this is my alterhuman blog. I do not want to interact with you, and the same for you to me. Out of mutual dislike, simply do not interact with me and just block me. Simple as that than telling me how I identify.
Transmeds/TERFs/Transphobes. I believe me stating that I am trans and a demiboy is simple enough to understand why I do not want these interactions. Though for those who are wanting more, I find them ignorant. I have dealt with enough people disrespecting my gender identity to have a short fuse with them. Especially if they bring up Christian rhetoric to back themselves up.
Homophobes. I also group up people against polyamory here too. But because my sexuality and romantic orientation are more complicated then I have stated, I do not wish to interact with closed-minded individuals. I respect you, you respect me. Once again, Christian rhetoric against the LGBTQ+ community are not welcome. As for those against polyamory, it's okay if you have been hurt or it is not your style. It does not mean you have a right to telling me how to live my life. I will not tell you how to live your life. Give me the same respect.
Proshippers and the likes. I find them disgusting as well. While it may be fictional, it doesn't make it morally correct. I do not like what is there or the impact it has on the youth. The possibilities of normalizing unhealthy dynamics is extremely harmful. I lived through the box office openings of Twilight and its fanfiction movie (I will not give out the name). This ruined how my generation saw love (Not everyone, but looking back at what was coming out at the time).
Racists and other harmful ideologies. I think this is pretty self explanatory. While I am not POC myself, I have friends who are and I will always have their back. Sentient beings deserve respect as much as the next. Let us respect one another in this shared space we call the internet.
Hardcore Christians (extremists, cults, et cetera). Seem weird or a bit ironic being Luciferhearted. Though I have good reason for this in my "Do Not Interact". I have dealt with Christian rhetoric before, and I don't exactly appreciate being told something I don't exactly believe. I'm agnostic/pagan. Abrahamic religion need to give me proof of their beliefs. Though I do believe their figures and god have a place. Though, I actively choose to believe more in the pagan gods of old. Such as those of the Nordic and Hellenic pantheons.
Minors (Below 18 years old). With me being 21, I do not feel comfortable being in an area around minors. Even though the blog is safe for work, I would like users interacting being a minimum of 18 years of age.

as the most knowledgeable Kamen Rider person i know, would you say there are any kr series that have character arcs or overall themes that decently support queer or trans readings? I'm only about 75% of the way through watching my first kr series and think it would be cool to watch one next that i could work a queer allegory into
My first instinct is to say "any of them if you want them to be" - KR has a lot of "sacrificing yourself for someone of the same gender" and "my enemy/friend/acquantaince I'm obsessed with" - but this is too broad.
When it comes to shows, I'd say Kamen Rider OOO (2010). Ankh and Eiji have an interesting relationship, and are kinda stuck together and forced to work on it. The show's theme is desire also (so it's easy to make queer readings).
If you want to watch a movie: Shin Kamen Rider (2023), both because it's just a 2 hour movie and because it's a cinematic masterpiece, to me. There's definitely something between Ruriko and Wasp-aug. And Hongo and Ichimonji are a classic duo (Kamen Rider 1 and 2).

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon | S1E2 Thoughts
⚠️ SPOILERS AHEAD ⚠️ do not read below the cut unless you’re okay with spoilers
Positive Thoughts
The opening scenes in Paris at the start of the outbreak? Genuinely got my heart pumping and my adrenaline rushing. I was actually freaked out. I wish TWD would have shown the outbreak actually happening more than they did. It would've been really interesting to see how each character ended up at the quarry, going all the way back to season 1 of TWD, but that's irrelevant lol
Camerawork is crazy good??? I mean, I don't really know anything about cameras but I thought that there were some really cool dynamic shots, especially in the flashbacks.
Isabelle is growing on me a LOT. I am so glad she is turning out to be her own character so far. I mean, I don't completely trust her because I think she definitely has her own agenda (can't really blame her), but I like her character. She hasn't annoyed me once which is crazy because even DARYL has annoyed me a few times in this episode lol
I loved the little detail of Sylvie being at the abbey when Isabelle arrives with Lily. Just a cool little detail where we see a little bit of Sylvie's story, too
The entire concept of Laurent being born to a walker is cool as hell and idc what anyone says. I wonder if him being born to a walker actually has some kind of effect on him. Of course, my first thought goes to maybe he is immune or something, or he carries the cure to the virus in his blood. I am so excited to see how that pans out. Idc if it's "ripping off" TLOU (I don't think it is tbh)
Speaking of Laurent, I have a newfound appreciation for him. He's so cute and sweet, and I felt bad for him when the children were picking on him
Lou's group is SO COOL. I love that they're a little group of children who raised themselves. Kinda reminds me of Jocelyn's kids from season 9 of TWD, but less evil. MUCH less evil. Not evil at all, actually. They remind me of the Lost Boys from the movie Hook, which is based on Peter Pan. That dinner scene was especially reminiscent of that for me
Daryl being undercover as a priest LOLIONGJWKDS
Daryl has some amazing sassy/cute moments in this episode. I think my personal favorite is when he loudly slurps down the soup at the dinner table. I also loved the little detail of Daryl starting to eat before everyone else/before they said grace, signifying how Daryl doesn't really have good table manners (which I love). It's so cute when he starts saying the prayer with food already in his mouth lol
And Norman's acting in this episode was once again so good. There's a scene when they're watching the TV where the camera slowly zooms in on Daryl. His smile begins to fade and you can just see in his eyes how much he misses home, and how much he wishes he could be with his family, even Merle, who he is probably thinking about, too, since he used to watch the show with him.
DARYL USING A MORNINGSTAR DARYL USING A MORNINGSTAR DARYL USING A MORNINGSTAR DARYL USING A MORNINGSTAR DARYL US--
That annoying American was slightly entertaining. Mostly annoying but slightly entertaining as well
Daryl and Laurent are very cute. I love how Daryl sort of relates to him in that they were both outcasts as children
Negative Thoughts
There are a few things Daryl does in this episode that rubbed me the wrong way just a tad bit. Of course I still love him but I just don't understand some of his decisions lol. Like when he let the mule go instead of just getting off his ass and taking out those walkers. He could've done it! Especially with the help of Isabelle and Sylvie. They probably could've taken out that herd without sacrificing the mule. Just kind of a stupid decision imo. Unnecessarily cruel too. I also didn't get why Daryl locked Lou in that shed. Kinda not cool? He could've just said, "hey, you stay back and I'll handle this." I didn't really see the point in having him do that :/ and he lies a lot to Lou and the kids in order to get what he wants. I mean, I get that he doesn't owe anything to these kids, but still... just seems a little callous. It's giving Carol vibes lol. They're basically making Daryl do things the way Carol does them—by lying, manipulating, and being cruel to children. I like Daryl because of his kindness, not this weird deceitfulness that he has going on suddenly. Again, I get that he is in a foreign place and these are all strangers to him so why should he care, but it just really doesn't seem like our Daryl. Other than that, I liked Daryl a lot in this episode, but there were just some little things I didn't vibe with
This episode did seem to veer away from the main plot quite a bit. I wonder if Lou's group will return later to help Daryl and the others in his group, or if they were just a one and done storyline. While I loved this little adventure, it did seem to not really add to the overall arc, and the little scene at the end with Codron walking around the abbey did seem a bit shoehorned just to remind us of the actual plot, but who knows?
Neither Positive Nor Negative Thoughts
So lets talk about the bed scene. Idk. I didn't hate it because I didn't see anything romantic there between Daryl and Isabelle, BUT it was a little like... can't you guys just have there be two beds lol. I really just think it's baiting, once again. I don't feel any romantic connection between them, and I don't think the show is necessarily trying to get that across to us, but I do think that they're like "well if people do think this is a romance, it will get them to continue watching the show and see if they get together!" So basically I think it's just a way to get people interested, but I don't think anything will happen. I think they will stay friends, otherwise it would be very awkward, at least from the way their relationship is so far
That's about all I have to say I think! Thanks for reading my thoughts. Hoping to get Chapter 2 of Begin Again out before the next episode, but no promises <3

So here’s all my thoughts on the teen wolf movie. This will contain spoilers.
- I’ll start by saying Derek and Eli carried this movie. They were the most interesting dynamic and the characters you feel drawn to the most.
- I do really like Eli, i think he’s pretty funny but he’s very Stiles-coded and I do wonder if that’s partly the reason why so many people like him. He’s definitely there to provide the comedic relief which he did a really good job of.
- The plot holes are prevalent from the start. First of all, why is the nogitsune remains or whatever they are in Japan with Hikari and Liam when at the end of season 3, it’s mentioned that Argent and Isaac are taking them to France and burying them. Also the nogitsune becoming a fox/wolf hybrid makes no sense because we were told in 3b that he can’t be both.
- There’s absolutely no mention of who Eli’s mother is. He’s 15 so he was born around the time Allison died according to their timeline so like who’s the mom? It just doesn’t make sense and it’s so glossed over.
- I don’t care for Scott and Allison’s relationship. I didn’t at the time of the show and I still don’t, they were each others first love, sure, but they weren’t right for each other imo. It just seemed like a whole lotta nonsense just to get them back together again.
- Speaking of relationships, so many of the couples from the show were split up in this movie with absolutely no reason as to why they broke up. Argent and Melissa’s breakup has no explanation, the same with Scott and Malia. We do get an explanation for Stiles and Lydia but its such a fucking dumb one. I don’t know why they spent 6 seasons building that relationship only to break them up because Lydia was having nightmares about Stiles.
- Again on the subject of couples, Malia and Parrish was so left field like it came out of nowhere and for what? Because of the lack of relationship development between them, i ended up not giving a shit about them. The same with Liam and Hikari, we don’t see the connection build between them so why would we care for their relationship? The lack of substance gave us nothing to work with.
- I do like Hikari but she is just used as a plot device. She’s there to dump information on us about certain things and she’s there to aid in helping Scott fake his death by lending him her foxfire (which by the way what the fuck? There’s no explanation of how that’s possible). There’s no personal character development there for her which is a shame because kitsunes and the mythology behind them is so interesting. She had a lot of potential as a character but Jeff clearly forgot to give her a personality.
- Liam is barely in this movie even though he’s a main character. Like it truly felt like a cameo appearance. He has no relevance to the storyline. Even when Scott was supposedly dying, they didn’t even cut to Liam’s reaction once even though he’s Scott’s first bitten beta. Like as a character that’s pretty popular, he deserved more screen time
- Mason and Liam don’t have a single proper interaction even though they’re best friends.
- Lydia and Allison have like maybe two scenes at most together. Which like wtf? They went through so much together and yet they didn’t think it important enough to give them more screen time together.
- They did Derek super dirty. We follow Derek through this journey of trying to connect with Eli and trying to help him transform and the second their ‘conflict’ is resolved, they have Derek die right in front of his son. Also Derek’s eyes turn red right before he burns to a crisp but that doesn’t matter right? bc two seconds later he’s gonna die anyway.
- You could take out the entire nogitsune storyline and the movie would pretty much be the same. Also the mystery hooded figure is so lame I can’t even begin to explain how entirely underwhelming that was.
- Peter is very season 1 peter again for some reason. Jackson is just kinda there, again to try and provide some comedic relief. Should of sacrificed one of these two honestly
- I just feel like they ignored so many of the things that made the show great. The friendships, the comedy, the relationships and let’s be honest, the cheesiness of it all. Characters that we know and love felt super bland to me. All the things that made the characters feel fleshed out and likable was missing.
- lastly and most importantly, they didn’t use the teen wolf theme song for the opening credits. Absolutely criminal.

Doodler! Random ask but what are your favorite bobs burgers character dynamics :D?
Yooooooooooo back at it again with your perfect, perfect asks 👌🏼
I'm really glad you asked this one because I've actually thought about this before.
My first one absolutely has to be Bob and Gene. Despite the fact that Gene is technically more similar to Linda in personality and has been shown on numerous occasions to favor her, he is also shown to love Bob a lot too and even says in "Sliding Bobs" that he's always admired Bob. I mean 🥺. AND HE LITERALLY ALWAYS THINKS OF THE RESTAURANT AS BEING CALLED "DAD'S BURGERS" I MEAN-And Bob has been shown to care for Gene as well, even if his "favorite" is probably Louise or Tina (I say "favorite" because Bob is too nice and too good of a parent to actually have a favorite kid). Every time they interact in a nice way, it makes my heart feel full, because they don't understand each other as much, but want to make an effort to try. I mean, Bob's entire speech about loving to feed Gene killed me, and their sharing a meal during the end credits had me giggling and kicking my feet. Oh, and finally their interactions during the "Laser-Inth" definitely show off their dynamic the best. I will never get over the "I love you too, Gene! :D"
Oh, also bonus, because I can't stop thinking of cute moments with these two is during "The Hauntening", when Gene, despite the fact that he knew the entire thing was a trick and he wasn't in any real danger, still felt the need to tell Bob that Bob was doing great as a dad and giving him a good childhood. I'm sure Bob appreciated that a ton.
I also love it every time Linda and Sergeant Bosco interact. They don't interact often, but whenever they do, it's great 11/10. These two are already kinda chaotic forces by themselves, but together, their chaos is pumped up to the max, and it almost feels like they're collectively sharing two brain cells, and I love it. This is probably best shown in "I've Got a Psy-Chic Out of You", with Linda having to help out Bosco on a case before realizing she doesn't have psychic powers after all. It's hilarious, especially when they break for lunch. And then there's that time in "My Fuzzy Valentine" when Bosco almost arrested Linda for impulsively taking his gun, I can't. This man was extremely ready to take her in. These two need to talk more because their conversations are absolute gold. Wonder what would've happened if they'd talked during the movie somehow.
Obviously, I have to say Bob and Linda because they're Bob and Linda. I've already said so much about them, so I'll keep this as brief as I can, but they are perfection. They support each other, love each other unconditionally, and Linda was willing to freaking work on her wedding day for her man. I like to imagine what their actual ceremony was like, and if they had vows. I hope they did because my heart. These two need to get their vows renewed during an episode or something, that would make me scream. Anyway, I love how they're both weirdos who found each other, and Bob had a dream Linda continues to adore and admire to this day. A lot say that Linda's the strange one, and it's true that she's more outgoing and eccentric, but Bob is just as strange with his habit of talking to inanimate objects, and let's not forget some of those moments where he's gone completely unhinged in the earlier seasons, like when he got trapped in the crawlspace. They balance each other out perfectly and know about every single one of each other's quirks. I love how in one episode, Linda just casually mentions Bob has a weird birthmark or something in his, well... you know. They're just so intimately familiar with each other and not afraid to admit it, which is a beautiful thing. Time and time again they make sacrifices, because no, their relationship is not one-sided. As much as Linda has sacrificed for Bob and the restaurant, Bob has done just as much for her--he even gets angry for her when people aren't treating her correctly, such as in "Terminilator II: Terminals of Endearment", when he had that whole speech about how her parents being terrible should bother her. He reciprocates most of what he gets, and when he doesn't, he acknowledges it and tries to be better, like in the emotional climax of the movie when he realizes how tiring it must be for Linda to be optimistic all the time and he decides he'll be more optimistic as well. They also never question how much the other loves them. There's absolutely no chance of either of them cheating or being swayed by someone else in any meaningful way, and they know it. There's only a problem if they think someone else will come on them and not stop, like in "Seaplane!". Okay, so this wasn't brief, but I have way too many feelings about these two. They will always be everything to me. We need a flashback episode or scene about their wedding or something pronto.
I just think Jimmy Jr. and Zeke's friendship is really wholesome. I don't have that much to say about them, because of how chill they are whenever they're around each other. They just get each other and their humor, which is wonderful. If Zeke wants to randomly pin Jimmy Jr. to the floor for some playful wrestling, there's no issue. They're always there to support each other no matter what, like when Zeke was willing to keep throwing chicken nuggets at Jimmy Jr. in the movie because he wanted to say he caught a chicken nugget in his mouth. I can't. I keep saying this, but I hope we see more of them interact and just be themselves.
Every time Louise and Regular-Sized Rudy interact, it's guaranteed to be a wholesome time. I love how they balance each other out. Rudy brings out Louise's softer side, whilst Louise helps Rudy be more confident in himself and stand up for himself. Louise being so jealous of Chloe Barbash in "Bob, Actually" was hilarious, especially because of her denial. Also, there's been a huge wave of people shipping her with Chloe which is... interesting.
Anyway, these two are great for each other, and I will always love it whenever they interact and just vibe. I still love how protective Louise is over him, and he's definitely the person (or at least one of the people) that she's nicest too, especially at school, so I find that wonderful.
These are all the ones I'm going to say for now, but this was so much fun to do. This is way too long (again) but honestly, at this point, that's to be expected from me.

It's so interesting to me, to think about Anakin's downfall because
In the movies, Anakin is clearly not okay, he is unbalanced, traumatised, unable to cope and, despite trying his best, he struggles to care for anyone but those closest to him
Although he does become more balanced between Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith, it is not enough, he is still willing to do anything, no matter how morally bad, for his end goal, he just now has the forethought to consider his actions and the best way to achieve his goal
It is believable that he would kill the younglings because of course he is willing to sacrifice them for Padme, the only person he can rely on
His downfall is caused by his willingness to sacrifice everything to keep the one person keeping him afloat alive
And yes, a lot of that is the Jedi's truly terrible techniques in raising him, but it is unclear whether him having faith in the Jedi would have changed the outcome
He still would have been traumatised by them so would not knowing who traumatise him, would not losing faith in them stop him from sacrificing the Jedi to keep Padme alive or would it have just made him hesitate slightly before going through with becoming a sith
And that is the crux of Anakin's character, his trauma and truly messed up mental state and moral code are what makes him fall, not anything else, the external situation by his fall, doesn't actually matter to his fall
But, in making him a more well rounded character, Clone Wars makes his downfall less plausible
Anakin from the show is a lot more balanced, he is more capable of dealing with the situations he is put in, he almost comes across as having a good mental health at the start of the show and it is only as the show goes on that he becomes more unbalanced, likely cause they realise he couldn't fall as the character he was at the start, so they skipped to him being unbalanced without really showing why
It is the opposite character trajectory to the movies, he becomes more unstable and desperate as movie Anakin becomes more stable
But also, and this is important, Anakin is more compassionate in the show, possibly the most compassionate Jedi we see, drawing a tie with Plo Koon, if Plo even comes close
The rest of the Jedi are, accidentally, portrayed as apathetic and people I definitely wouldn't want in charge of protecting the lives of others, they say they care and sometimes it appears they might but their actions still speak of people willing to sacrifice a lot more than they should to get the outcome they want, they're like movie Anakin but with less desperation, they're literally what Field Marshal Haig was accused of being in ww1, a butcher willing to send people to their deaths for very literal reason, cause they don't care about the clones, their soldiers
But Anakin does care
To the point where he risks life and limb for random strangers, people he has never met, people he knows won't realise what he is sacrificing, because he doesn't care about his actions being known or him being celebrated as a hero, he cares about making sure everyone lives
Sure he can be callous and ruthless to the enemies but he does it in service of protecting the galaxy, not to win the war alone
He is shown to care not just for Padme, Obi Wan and Ashoka but for the clones everyone else is willing to sacrifice, the random inhabitants of a planet the Jedi forget to properly consider
The only difference between him protecting Padme and random citizens is his lack of balance and solution finding, he is more desperate but still going to the same lengths he would for random citizens, his emotions are just more involved but that's it, his actions are the same
This is not the Anakin who would kill Tusken Raiders for being connected to his mum's death, this is the Anakin who would seriously consider it, maybe even draw his sabre and bare it to their throats but ultimately choose not to
He could never kill innocent civilians no matter how badly he wanted to because he cares too much, his compassion and his desire to protect others is what gets him in trouble not his unbalanced traumatised personality
And that's the key difference between movie and TV Anakin, movie Anakin fell because he was desperate to save Padme no matter the cost and he didn't care who he had to kill to do it, Clone Wars Anakin fell because he lost faith in the Jedi and it is still not entirely convincing because I still struggle to believe he would kill innocents to end the Jedi
I still struggle to believe that he wouldn't take the younglings for his new order, rescue them from the institution that had proved so harmful to him rather than murdering them in an uncharacteristically cruel move for the compassionate Jedi
It's only possible because Palpatine corrupted him
Clone Wars Anakin fell due to the corruption from outside forces
Prequels Anakin fell because his very being had already been wrecked and he was desperate to keep his lifeline, the outside forces, at this point, were just the final nail in the coffin rather than the match that created the fire
Clone Wars Anakin looked at his trauma and went I never want anyone to experience that, Movie Anakin looked at his trauma and went I will do whatever it takes to make sure I never go through that again, no matter who I have to sacrifice
They are two sides of the same coin, two possible outcomes from similar life experiences, but ultimately different characters with little overlap in their motivations, aside from the few folks movie Anakin cares for being in the large group of folks Clone Wars Anakin cares for

What are the cues you take to identify which writer is writing each event in FGO?
FGO writers tend to be very self-indulgent in what they do, so each of them has a very clear set of tells in their writing. Typography tells are the most reliable way to single a writer out, but character or theme/trope bias can also be a factor. Here’s a mostly comprehensive list of what I consider to be the biggest tells for each of them.
Yuuichirou Higashide
Higashide is the most vanilla out of FGO’s main writers, so for the longest time, my trick to identifying his parts is the process of elimination. If the text doesn’t seem to be anyone else’s, then it should be Higashide’s. That said, Higashide is still perfectly recognizable by his humor, which tends to be the most pun-heavy and rapid-firing with one-off gag exchanges. Some describe his style as MCU-like but I haven't watched a Marvel movie recently enough to confirm or deny it.
He's definitely the team member with the most American influences. He is a big movie guy and has admitted to making a few Servants based off of movies about their historical counterparts (Jing Ke, Yan Qing) or based Servants out of movie characters (Han Solo -> Bartholomew Roberts). Every chapter title in E Pluribus Unum is a movie name and Chaldea Thriller Night was littered with commentary on the horror genre. His love for Hollywood also shows constantly in his big action set pieces.
Maybe as a consequence of that, maybe as a consequence of him writing the first chapter of each part, his stories tend to be a lot more low-scale, humorous, and light-hearted than others. He knows how and when to be serious, but he’s humorous more often than not. Think of Old Moriarty’s character as a microcosm of his writing.
Due to his comfort zone being his comedy, Higashide's Fujimaru's personality is whatever suits the joke the best. From savvily calling out the nastiness of bad fetish characters like Bart and Kiyohime, to bantering on even levels with Jason and Xu Fu, to innocently delivering the idiot comment that will give Kadoc the highest amount of stress.
A famous Higashide trait among the Japanese fandom is his involvement in a lot of furry content before he became a Type-Moon writer. If you check the list of character creators in FGO Mats, you’ll see that every FGO-original furry or scalie character was created by Higashide, with the sole exceptions of Tiamat, and (to my complete surprise when fact-checking) Red Hare. NOTE: FGO Mats XI is the most recent volume as of this text’s writing.
I’m bringing this up because some fans correctly guessed Yuga Kshehtra wasn’t Higashide’s by the fact there was no furry character. In contrast, Orleans had Eliza and Atalanta, Okeanos had Asterios, Orion and Atalanta, E Pluribus Unum had Eliza again, Edison, and Cu Alter, Shinjuku had Lobo, Anastasia had, well, almost the entire cast and population, and Traum had Sancho. Atlantis is the exception, which is one of the contributing factors to the previous edition of this post being a major source of misinformation.
One noticeable pattern in his main story chapters is that all of his main villains have been duos, usually following a pattern of a sympathetic villain being manipulated by a viler villain. Orleans starts the trend with Gilles lying to Jalter about what she is, Okeanos follows up with Medea Lily lying to Jason about the consequences of sacrificing a god to the Ark, E Pluribus Unum subverts it with a last-minute reveal that Cu Alter wasn’t being manipulated by Medb at all, Shinjuku moves away from the manipulation trope by having Moriarty and Bael be allies on equal terms, and Anastasia returns to the formula by having Kadoc force Ivan to sleep and lie to him about the current state of Russia. Traum is a more complex case due to having too many antagonists, but the pattern is followed quite closely in Kriemhild and Zhang Jue pair. Atlantis once again breaks the pattern, but still don't forgive me for thinking that one was Meteo.
Speaking of pairs, part 2 longer story format has given him a lot of room to write more, and he loves filling this room with romance arcs unrelated to the protagonist. This is true even to the Apocrypha days with Amakusa and Semiramis but added to his collection with Kadoc and Anastasia, Orion and Artemis, Constantine and Joan, and Siegfried and Kriemhild.
Hazuki Minase
Putting in the simplest terms possible, Minase feels less like a real human being and more like a walking otaku stereotype, in all the good and bad that entails, mostly the bad. I won’t go into detail about the flaws of Agartha because everyone already talks about that a lot. I will say, however, that while Minase is as insensitive as he can get about sexual matters, like the otaku stereotype he is, he can write sensitively enough about problems otaku are known to suffer, like the ableism that is the central theme of Yuga Kshetra.
Overall, Minase’s best feature is that he responds amazingly well to criticism. Or at least that’s the only way I can justify the quality gap between Agartha and Oo’oku/Yuga Kshetra. Also explains why Minase’s supervised writing feels so similar to Kinoko’s own. Makoto Sanda once made a tweet explaining how Nasu’s supervision works, saying that for the 10 volumes of Case Files he wrote, Nasu hit him with hundreds of “Are you sure?”s, but never with a single no, so in that vein, I like to believe that Minase is the one guy who takes every single “are you sure?” as a “You must change this”. Nasu’s huge respect for his coworker’s creativity (or spinelessness, if you prefer to interpret it like that) might have put things he didn’t like into his universe, and Minase is definitely to blame for a big part of it, but I’d like to believe that at least he follows the supervision strictly.
In terms of character creation, I’d say Minase is the most simplistic of the five. All of his characters clearly begin with one core idea, and everything else revolves around that initial concept, while also staying true to its historical/mythological counterpart. Of course, this model can easily backfire and make his characters one-note, however. Minase is also decently knowledgeable about his character’s stories but takes an overly “show don’t tell” approach to that, causing problems like Nezha’s role in Yuga Kshetra. Nezha’s part is entirely defined by his relationship with Li Jing, but FGO never stopped to define who Li Jing was, so Nezha’s conflict might be hard to understand to people less familiar with the Investiture. He also never stops to explain the cultural background that explains why Altjuna is so ableist, but that ties into his other core character creation trait, that being that he’s the writer who is the least afraid of making his characters utterly unsympathetic, as better evidenced by Columbus and Wu Zetian.
In terms of style, Minase’s most noticeable trait is giving the reader constant access to the character’s inner thoughts. This has grown to become a common practice for the other writers too, but it’s a lot more omnipresent in Minase’s stories. Oo’oku’s Kiara and Yuga Kshetra’s Pepe felt like they have more inner monologue than spoken dialogue. Like Higashide, he’s also a strong believer that the tensest and most climactic moments are the best moments for jokes, though he cares less about thematically shooting himself in the foot doing so. Being the human otaku stereotype he is, he constantly makes and references internet jokes, even with characters that aren’t appropriate for that kind of humor, like Goredolf or Nero.
On the otaku humor repertoire, his favorite trope is the idea that headpats are the ultimate expression of love. No work of him can go without this trope. Agartha? We headpat Zetian into stopping being evil. Oo’oku? Tsubone’s right there constantly rewarding us with motherly headpats. Yuga Kshehtra? William Tell headpats Indian children to show his unshakable dadness. Akihabara Explosion? Hime demands headpats as a reward for winning her game, and Aphrodite tries to headpat Nero to get on good terms with her. The head petting is the most failproof mark of Minase’s writing.
Another, more unfortunate, side of his overuse of otaku tropes is the fact his authorial voice is very uncomfortably horny towards the gender non-conforming characters. You’ve seen Astolfo and D’Eon’s treatment in Agartha, and you’ve seen Fujimaru getting a first-person narration scene just to call Pepe hot in Yuga Kshetra.
One pattern I noticed in all his stories is that the villain’s ultimate goal is, direct or indirectly, suicide. Scheherazade and Phenex were plotting to erase arcana to give themselves one final death they would never return from. Kama wanted to oversaturate the world with love until love lost its meaning, causing herself to stop existing as a concept. Altjuna wanted to reset the world until it was rid of everyone flawed, while subconsciously seeing himself as another flaw that needed to be erased. The Sculptor King from Akihabara Explosion didn’t have suicide as a goal per se, but she was perfectly fine with including her own death as part of the plan to reunite Galatea and Pygmalion. And while not villains, it’s also easy to see those melancholic, almost suicidal undertones in other Minase-written characters, like Ashwattaman and Aphrodite.
As for typography fingerprints, Minase almost always starts the scenes outside of Fujimaru’s perspective with a textbox saying ~一方そのころ~ (meanwhile), which is super easily identifiable.
Hikaru Sakurai
Sakurai is by a huuuuuuuuuuuge margin the easiest FGO writer to identify typographically. She’s extremely addicted to using archaic language, and even her characters who speak in modern Japanese will still use outdated kanji for words that aren’t normally written in kanji. If you see an 嗚呼, 此処, or a 何故 instead of the usual あs, ここs, and なぜs, you can be 99% confident Sakurai wrote this text. For all her writing is close to Minase’s in terms of long-windedness, repetition, and faux-poetic prose, the archaic kanji is unmistakable. That’s all honestly. I’ll still talk about her favorite tropes and themes, but you can skip that because you’ve already read everything you need to know to identify her text from a mile away.
Other things she shares with Minase aside from the pretentious style are a sense of scale seemingly designed to drive the vsbattles crowd insane (as every fantasy writer should, honestly), and more recently a lack of qualms to make some of her villains utterly irredeemable. That said her Douman and Dioscuri are much more cartoonishly villainous than Minase’s Mr. Slavery, Ms. Real Methods of Torture, and Mr. Kill Only the Disabled (at least Dioscuri when written by Sakurai. Higashide’s Dioscuri is very realistically uncomfortable.)
While all the other writers like to sell Fujimaru as a completely normal guy doing abnormal things, Sakurai takes the complete opposite direction, constantly reminding the reader that Fujimaru is a super special guy who can connect to worlds through dreams, whose blood is toxic to gods, and who has their edgy boyfriend The Count of Mount Cristo installed in his head. No Sakurai story is complete without a random and pointless Dantes cameo, which really sucks because I used to like Dantes a lot but now she’s conditioned me to stop expecting things from him. (Ordeal Call, please save this plotline)
Sakurai is the one writer who very much has one favorite theme, that being love, and she honestly can get quite a bit of variety out of it. I haven’t fully read ProtoFrags yet, but judging by what I know about Manaka, Brynhild, and Serenity, it seems to be mainly about excessive love being expressed in destructive manners. Then Gotterdamerung is about a pseudo-otome game starring a girl who can’t tell the difference between love and emotional abuse. Then Olympus is about a family where the father has lost the ability to love. Then Heian is about a man failing to become a Beast because he’s devoid of love for humanity. And Lost Einherjar is about Aslaug's reactions to being loved by everyone while feeling she did nothing to deserve any of this love. I also hear a lot of people saying she’s tangibly influenced by Utena, and haven’t watched that to know what they’re talking about, but I’ll assume it’s this part.
Like Nasu, she likes to make characters bond through the sharing of food, although she’s far less descriptive about her food than Nasu. Think of Shimousa’s dinner scenes at Muramasa’s house, Gerda’s offering of food in Gotterdamerung, the two dinner scenes with Adele and with Europa in Olympus, and even the lunch Manaka cooked for Arthur, which is her first real character moment.
Another interesting (more so in theory than in practice) trait of Sakurai is that she likes to be creative with the setting mechanics. While Higashide’s Singularities all had Goetia finding a person who can use the Grail and handing it to them, Septem had Lev failing to find anyone and having to use the Grail himself in hope that something good happens, London had Goetia giving the Grail to a very unwilling Zouken who sabotaged his plan, and Camelot (which she co-wrote mostly on the Egyptian side) had a whole Singularity that happened before the player arrived. Later her EoR is completely unrelated to the surviving Pillars, and her Lostbelt has its kingship shift twice. Weirdly enough, Olympus is her most mechanically standard chapter, although she compensates for it later in Heian, by making a Grail War with 7 historical hero Masters and 7 Caster Servants. Her most recent Grail War in Lost Einherjar also comes with a new and ridiculous rule set.
Last but not least, a favorite trait of her making her villains stupid, and that usually is the cause of our victory. And that’s not a case where the villains feel stupid because the writer is stupid. Sakurai always makes a point to show she’s actively making her villains dumb and incompetent. In Septem, we can fight all the enemy emperors one by one because the enemy side doesn’t have a plan, as Lev points this out as he complains he couldn’t find anyone to receive the Grail. London’s biggest reveal was about how Zouken duped the dumb Goetia by creating the slowest doomsday plan ever and stalling it further by forcing Tesla to power walk instead of flying. Shimousa has Douman brainwashed 4 Servants with oni blood with a spell incompatible with oni, allowing them to retain a bit of free will (or all of it for the full-blooded oni Shutendouji) and fixed Danzou, which gave Fujimaru a helpful ally and stabilized Kotarou’s presence. Shimousa even makes a point to include a scene of Musashi pointing out to Douman exactly how much all of his mistakes helped us. While not too tied to the cause of our victory, Gotterdamerung has moments of Surtr cursing his limited intellect, which is physically unable to think of anything other than his flames of destruction to offer to his dear Ophelia. And lastly, Olympus has us killing all mechgods one by one, as the gods can’t gang up on us because they can’t look seriously threatened to their population, and Beryl is there to point out how stupid and impractical their strategy is.
Meteor “Meteo” Hoshizora
This section will be significantly shorter than the rest because Meteo simply doesn't write enough. I have a lot less material to work with, and a lot of what was in the first edition of this post was later proven false.
Meteo’s most easily identifiable typographical quirk is that the man is absolutely addicted to the English language. Whenever you see unnecessary English on your FGO text, immediately suspect Meteo.
He's also perhaps the biggest tryhard when it comes to giving characters distinctive voices. See Voyager's English speaker struggling to learn Japanese tone, Nezha's poetic metric, the Fire Vampires messages in Chinese, Hokusai's fluent Edo-ben, Bakin's vocabulary being as obnoxious as the prose of a Bakin novel, and Taisui's vocabulary being a mess of habits he picks up on-screen during the event.
One thing about Meteo that so far still hasn’t come up much in FGO is that he’s very open about pink hair being his main fetish. For the original Apocrypha project, he shamelessly made two out of his three characters (Astolfo and Fran) pink-haired just because he could, and even now he makes no efforts to hide his Circe favoritism. We even get a whole colosseum audience screaming “Circe best girl” in Requiem. I take him as a suspect in writing Nightingale’s Christmas Carol just because both leads have pink hair (Higashide is still the prime suspect though).
Meteo seems pretty knowledgeable of his history and mythology, but he actively chooses to give no attention to what’s irrelevant to his story. The character profiles for his characters in FGO mats are as barebones as he can get away with, probably for that reason.
In terms of comedy, Meteo is very capable when it comes to writing down-to-earth character interaction-based humor. BUT he also can get more balls-to-the-wall than any other writer not named Nasu, resulting in stuff like Salem’s theater scenes, and whatever was going on with Jeanne in Las Vegas.
That said, Meteo’s parties are still very noticeably more cautious than FGO’s standards, especially Fujimaru. While Nasu’s Fujimaru is shadowboxing Hundred Personas Hassan behind her back and lariating Quetzalcoatl from the sky, Meteo’s Nasu makes sure to double-check with their Servants before doing literally anything. Looking at how Erice is, I guess Meteo just prefers writing hesitant protagonists. Overall, Fujimaru’s IQ just triples whenever Meteo touches FGO’s writing tool. Meteo’s Fujimaru is so cultured that Hopkins once dropped a random Bible quote to mock them, and they recognized it as the Bible.
Kinoko Nasu
Nasu is the easiest writer to reliably identify because we’re always officially told about his work. We either get told in advance a chapter will be his as a way to build up hype, or he goes on this blog saying “Hey, I wrote this!”. I honestly never bothered looking for marks in Nasu’s typography because he’s so open about what’s his. I don’t feel like I need to talk about his favorite themes because a lot of people on this website are already constantly doing it much better than I could, and I don’t want to talk about it either because I’d have to cover 8 whole games aside from his FGO chapters and FGO’s overarching narrative.
Thank you Nasu for making my job easier.

Chapter 2 time let’s gooo
I have my thoughts abt ch 2 down now lol
(Also lmao I have no clue how to do a Cut in the tumblrs every time I add the html it doesn’t seem to stick for some reason? Lmao)
Araki doubling down on ACAB lmaoooo nice
Jodio is still very much a 15yo here. His interaction w the undercover cop displays a naïveté plus a failure to read someone as well as his og Jojo line parallel, Giorno. The female cop also blatantly lying to Jodio is also very telling about the type of law enforcement in Part 9 that I’m sure we’ll see a lot more of.
This portrayal of law enforcement is interesting to compare and contrast to other portrayals of police in Jojo. Part 1 had a whole brigade (Scotland Yard?) become paper cannon fodder when Dio vamped up, but were otherwise generally treated as a force for good and portrayed uncritically. Part 2 had racist dirtbag cops trying to extort Smokey Brown before Joseph kicked their asses. Part 3 had the Singaporean officer who mistook Polnareff’s luggage for rubbish (not necessarily bad as much as an overzealous stickler for rules). Part 4 had Ryohei who was a fair and Justice-oriented small town Japanese cop; he’s also the most positive law enforcement character in basically all of Jojo. Part 5 had crooked cops all over the place in Naples and Italy, even protagonist Leone Abbacchio was a former cop who became crooked. His partner was the only “good cop” around, who not only sacrificed himself to save Abbacchio but also was shown doggedly trying to gather evidence even if Justice might not be met.
Jodio possibly has antisocial personality disorder, he was screened for it at school. As someone who does not have this condition, I cannot really comment on how accurate a portrayal of this condition will be, but I will say again that Araki will do his best and Your Mileage May Vary. It’s too early to see how this will play out but I definitely look forward to how Araki will flesh it out.
That said, Barbara Ann’s reaction and Jodio’s seem promising to see—Barbara is operating mostly on behalf of how that label may stigmatize her child. Jodio is actually upset by this, he wonders if he can find happiness but is frustratingly aware of knowing that he’ll still encounter terrible people like the police who harass he and his brother. Jodio also replies to the school psychotherapist, “I’ll try better in the future,” as though he’s somehow failed a test, and to me it really shows his age as well.
Araki has already done a great job at humanizing Jodio, and with this reveal, by consequence humanizing someone with aspd. Jodio does have people he cares about, and he’s capable of expressing that to them. His mother and brother both clearly love him and look out for him. Jodio has a quicker fuse to violence but he’s not some sort of uncontrollable beast—he deliberately chooses to not kill the officers, and in the previous chapter he stopped the beat down when Dragona asked him to.
Hot Dog Boy is now forever officially Usagi Aloha’oe. His name is literally Bunny [that one famous Hawaiian song/poem]. His last name was a song in a Disney movie. No notes lmaooo
Usagi showing up late to a heist with takeout and shopping when he’s supposed to be getting the car for the heist—iconic amazing, Araki he better live to the end of this part.
That his Stand only works if someone else makes a demand is interesting. I wonder if it will be commented upon or useable for some character analysis like how Josuke’s Crazy Diamond expressed how kind and selfless Josuke is. I’m also noticing how the ability is a bit of a parallel to Hermes’ Kiss, like how Smooth Operator has a similar ability to Diver Down.
ROHAN????????
No seriously how the hell is he here is it the same person is he different does he not have Heaven’s Door is he aware of other universes ARAKI EXPLAIIIIIIIN
The ramifications of Rohan in this story might be far-reaching, especially given that the definition of Stands from page one is attributed to “a certain Mangaka,” which heavily implies Rohan. However on a more meta note, it could also mean Araki himself given that he could also apply as “a certain mangaka.”
Also Jodio seems to be a fan, talking about having some manga volumes by Rohan. Certified GenZ weeb Jodio no notes lmaoooo
Jojolands live-blogging let’s goooooooo
1st impressions under the cut:
Jodio is such a wild name especially considering there’s a Spanish meaning (look it up lol). It makes me think of the Jorge Joestar novel where it says that Erina spelled George II’s name as “Jorge” to keep the “Jo” and it’s like ah yes, it’ll play out how you think in the Spanish-speaking Canary Islands.
Jodio’s narration makes him sound like an actual 15-year-old, and there’s something a bit charming about that. He goofs around and wants to become rich, but he also follows other people’s orders and definitely is flying by his pants as he goes through this process. Araki did a great job establishing Jodio through his narrative voice, stuff like, This may sound like bullshit” and his tangent admiring Meryl’s designs.
There’s definitely the “Giorno” connections (Giorno was the child of both Jonathan and Dio and Jodio is like combining “Jonathan” and “Dio” as names, both are 15 in their stories and have jobs connected with crime, and both of them have clear ambitions). Both of them definitely are observant and can read people very well. However, unlike Giorno, Jodio is not a smooth criminal. He reacts with violence first as opposed to trying to charm his way out of situations. Jodio’s been a low-level grunt for gangs since he was a child, rather than Giorno being a solo petty thief who, once completing initiation, dethrones the Boss and takes charge in like a week.
Another notable thing in this story is that Jodio is a Jojo who comes with a sibling, an older sibling at that. Jodio is definitely protective of Dragona, and also defers to their choices, and listens when Dragona begs Jodio to hold back. I love their rapport, it definitely feels like accurate sibling energy. They crime together, goof off with each other, both of them protect their mother and each other. I love how Dragona was begging for the police to leave Jodio alone because he’s a kid, a minor, and that Dragona holds Jodio back from going too far when beating up the cops who’d assaulted them. I also love how Jodio saw what was going on with Dragona and went “aight time for violence” immediately.
Definitely a new dynamic for the Jojo and JoBro, and also a refreshing take on Jojo sibling dynamics. Jonathan and Dio was about the worst way siblings could go (understatement), and Josuke and Joshu plus the other Higashikata children had a rocky dynamic given that…well, the amnesiac teenager being adopted into the family is a lot to get used to, so in some ways Jojolion was in part the Higashikatas learning how to accept Josuke and give him the family he needs. Johnny and Nicholas seemed to have a positive relationship, but of course that ended with tragedy given Nicholas’ passing.
Regarding the discourse over Dragona’s pronouns, I admit, as someone who is cis, I don’t feel I have a right to comment on this detail beyond that this is only the first chapter, and we don’t know how Araki will handle it for the rest of the run. Given that Araki is a cis Japanese man in his 60s, and that his writing and portrayals of other marginalized folks doesn’t have the best track record (Part 2 the anime had to cut out some rather unsavory caricatures of Mexicans, and Part 3 tended to play into uhh questionable “exotic land” stereotypes especially along Southeast Asia), I wouldn’t recommend getting one’s hopes up for the most stellar execution of representation for Dragona here. I will definitely say that no matter what happens with Dragona, it’s a Your Mileage May Vary situation, but beyond that, I’ll leave that to people who know more and have lived experience when it comes to talking about Dragona’s gender identity.
Meryl is the tallest Jojo character now after the Pillar Men and that is amazing also, yeah, how many hustles does she have? The fact that she’s a school principal as well as a small business owner as well as a crime boss (not sure how big her gang is though). I’m sure there’s a joke about the US educational system in here somewhere lol.
Also, a Jojo in a US public highschool. No notes lmao
There’s several references to our time, like Dua Lipa, Uber, and Covid. We can assume that means this takes place past 2020, most likely around 2022-2023 since no one is wearing masks, but Dragona doesn’t like the officer getting that close and cites social distancing as a reason—notably, the officer is shown as Asian since he asks “do you not want me to get close to you because of my race?” which also references the spike of hate crimes against Asians during the height of the pandemic. There’s also a bit of a meta mark of the times given how Araki went ACAB in the first 5 pages of chapter 1.
The Filthy Frank lookin’ ass dude. No notes lol
This part’s theme seems to be focusing on a new concept called “Mechanisms”. As far as I can understand about how it works given what we have so far about it, it seems to be something to do with “social systems.” Jodio built a social system of “trust” through being a good Gofer for the gang he works for, while the classmate he compares himself to is bullied because he doesn’t have a system like that for the school. Even though the unnamed student is larger, maybe smarter, and presumably wealthier, he’s singled out for bullying because he doesn’t have a good “mechanism” and will be due to leave the school soon. We’ll have to see how this plays out in the coming chapters…
HEIST HEIST HEIST HEIST
The jewel in the heist will not be how Jodio gets rich, or else, perhaps it will prove more trouble than it’s worth. I say that based on nothing. Araki might pull a different trope regarding this jewel, but I doubt he’d make this into a Maguffin for very long.

Alright alright here’s the full (full as in its six thirty in the morning so it’s what I can think of) list of Shorter Wong headcanons. these aren’t organized or anything but anyways enjoy
-he’s one of those people that listens to an absurd amount of music. Like he’s always got one headphone in, his phone has two million spotify playlists, you put on the radio and it’s playing Spanish pop but he’s like “oh I’ve heard this one!”
-adhd. Both hyperactive and inattentive type. He never got it diagnosed but it’s one of those things he and Nadia just Know.
-the back wall of his room is just one massive collage of STUFF™️. It’s part collage with newspaper articles, magazine cutouts, and printouts from shows and movies he likes, and part photo album. I think he had one of those cheap disposable cameras and just carried it around with him for a year and that was the result lol.
-chugs that respect women juice. Need I say more?
-I know I mentioned previously that his favorite anime would be Samurai Champloo (but tbh he just strikes me as a Watanabe person) but i have REASONS. i think maybe nadia would put on some random ass show to keep mini! shorter from burning the kitchen down and then he was like “WOAH THEY HAVE SWORDS”. I also think he would have a small existential crisis if you asked him to choose a favorite character because like “Mugen...so fucking cool but hes also a dick? So maybe Jin. Jin’s fucking awesome. Plus hes hot. And nice. But I also love Fuu! So all of them I guess?”
-he was a dinosaur kid and still has a fossil collection
-lives and breathes x-men comics! his favorite characters would probably be Logan or Gambit, but he has a soft spot for the flashier or more absurd members like Jubilee, Dazzler, Kitty Pryde or Nightcrawler. He definitely simps for Ororo Munroe. (but lets be honest who doesnt)
-has a multitude of stick n pokes! theyre really messy and some are deformed and ugly but he loves them anyways (thank you to @hearteiji for this idea! i love you so much i hope you’re not dying at work rn)
-for obvious reasons i think he’d be really good at helping people through panic attacks and such but i also think it contributed to him developing this complex where he feels as though he can’t talk about his issues or else he’s being selfish which, by the way, is bullshit!!
-david bowie fanboy (PUT ON YOUR RED SHOES-)
-steals his sister’s nail polish a lot
-very impulsive. and i mean VERY.
-also oddly self sacrificing? its kinda concerning
-periodically closet cosplays various fictional characters just to see if anyone would notice
-ash was his bi awakening
-hates anything with artificial banana flavoring
-when nadia’s busy he survives on instant ramen, trail mix, and gas station coffee
-literally in love with eiji okumura (but who isnt tbh) (wait that’s canon /j)
-has dyed his hair more than seven different colors
-he was a recorder kid. like the type they’d give you in elementary school? he had one and named it benny or some shit and pissed off the neighbors with it until benny mysteriously disappeared
-didnt realize eiji and ash were dating until he saw them like. actively making out in front of him and then he was like “WAIT-”
-raised Sing like they were relatives. and by raised i mean he taught him the basic life skills: pickpocketing, flirting, and lying to authorities

Nagisa means shore, the space between land and sea
It’s a fitting name for you, as the one that interlinks humanity
After watching the final Evangelion movie I could finally conclude my final Kaworu analysis. The movie was amazing, can’t lie, am a bit sad that it is over.
Tumblr media
In his never ending existence and his repeated life in a predestined narrative made him yearn for a purpose.
Ever since his first appearance in the manga or anime he wants to make Shinji happy even if that means sacrificing himself. That was his way of being him, rebelling towards SELLE, in search of his own resolve.
He projected his own ideals and wishes onto Shinji. He though he wanted to make him happy but in reality that was his happiness. He wanted Shinji’s happiness to make him happy, and as Kaji said that’s also a reason why he wrote his name in the Book of life, so they will keep meeting each other in Nagisa’s eternal life.
However we can’t say that Kaworu didn’t care about Shinji. I am not sure whether he was also in love with him, but definitely attracted to him since they shared similarities. Kaworu certainly has said that he loves Shinji, however it might have been Kaworu subconsciously giving himself a reason to aid Shinji. That’s why he leaves Shinji be when he creates the new Neon Genesis world.
We could even say hat Kaworu used Shinji for self satisfactory motives, however we are not so cruel (also disclaimer: Kaworu is my all time fav character)
We see Kaworu in every timeline, but he doesn’t always remember everything, does he? That’s due-to him being almost immortal but only in the body, while his mind and memories does die off a bit after ever “death”. That's of course because has Addam's soul. But his body also changes yet stays eternally young, as we can see from the coffins.
Tumblr media
In the final Evangelion movie Kaji in the anti-universe (probably the anti-matter, since we can also see Gendo doing quantum leaps) opens Kaworu’s eyes and tells him the truth, with that he apologies to Shinji and goes with Kaji, continuing his search for a purpose but in a very healthier and self-aware manner. He realizes that what he was doing was wrong and so he lets Shinji go. Kaworu now lives a good life and refuses to rely and take advantage of another person for his own happiness and regards. No matter his motives and intentions, he helped Shinji and others a lot, we can’t disregard him of that.
As I already said, I think that Kaworu Nagisa is one of the best written characters, just with this movie. Before, mostly what we saw was his angel side, but now being exposed of corruption just like every person on this planet really shows more of his human side. However this is not a first time just for us, at the same time Kaworu was also met with the truth. He is confronted in front of a mirror of truth at the same time we are...
In the 3.0+0.1 Kaji introduces him to gardening, we can see this as a metaphor for letting Shinji go and finally doing something entirely his own.
We cannot deny that he wasn’t naïve. I believe that this was his biggest weakness.
Shinji is Kaworu’s Mona Lisa, if I do a little connection to the lyrics of ‘One last kiss’ by Hikaru Utada. Mona Lisa is made to be observed and to be admired, not to be with in any shape or form.
Anyway, I hope that he is content and finally found his own happiness, the movie was amazing and the animation, plot and everything was spectacular, a good conclusion and an end to all of the Evangelion.
Did shed some tears, of both joy and sadness.
Goodbye all of Evangelion
