He’d seen you grow up with psoriasis.

He remembers the way you never let go of your long sleeves. The way your friends’ eyes lingered in the summer, glancing at your covered arms with quiet curiosity. The way your smile would dim when someone’s gaze lingered too long.

Hell, he was the one who held you when you sobbed, terrified before every new school year. The one who sat with you in silence while you rubbed at your sleeves until the fabric thinned.

But he had also seen you change. Watched as long sleeves were traded for shorter ones. Saw how you learned to love your skin through the endless cycle of steroids, topicals, and shots.

Flare-up or not, you were strong. You became more than the spots on your skin. And he was proud.

The person he once comforted no longer needed saving. You had learned to love yourself.

But even now, if you stumbled, if you slipped, he’d still be there. Not because you needed him. But because he never stopped wanting to stand beside you.

And when you catch him watching you, when you raise an eyebrow and say “What?” he just smiles.

"Nothing." He wraps his arms around you, his hands mapping your arms with utmost focus. He watches the way you don’t flinch anymore. The way you let him touch you without hesitation.

"You’re just beautiful."

You roll your eyes, but your cheeks flush. He sees the quiet pleasure in the smile on your lips.

"I mean it." His pulls you closer, against his chest, burying his face in your shoulder.

Zayne:

He held your hands, applying the topical carefully. His fingers moved slowly, brushing over the irritated skin with quiet precision. Your fingers twitched in his grasp, skin red and peeling. It looked painful.

Just a night out had done this. The restaurant soap had reacted poorly.

And now here you both were.

"I'm sorry, Zayne. I was stupid." You whisper, trying to pull your hands back. "I ruined our plans."

His grip tightens slightly, keeping you from slipping away. His breath steadies as he rests his forehead against yours. Warm. Soft. Familiar.

"You have nothing to apologize for." His arms circle around you, pulling you carefully into his lap. His hand slides to your wrist, thumb brushing over the curve of your pulse.

He blows gently over the drying cream on your skin. His breath ghosts over your fingers, the warmth easing the sting.

"I prefer this." His lips brush your temple. "How else do I get to hold you like this?"

Your breath hitches. His mouth curves faintly against your cheek.

"And kiss you however much I want?"

You laugh weakly. "You’re ridiculous."

"Probably." His lips trail down the side of your face, soft and deliberate. His touch light and careful as he smooths over the cream.

"But you think too much." His forehead presses against yours. "You didn’t ruin anything."

"Zayne, it was your time off in so long, and we-"

His fingers lace between yours. His thumb strokes along your palm, calm, steady. "I’d rather be here with you, holding you, than anywhere else."

You close your eyes, breath slowing beneath the weight of him.

"So stop apologizing." His voice drops to a whisper. His mouth hovers over yours. "You’re already giving me exactly what I want."

Rafayel:

He finds you crouched in the closet. Crying. Clothes scattered around you in every direction.

"I look awful." You look at him tearfully. "Everything looks terrible with the breakout. I can't go to your exhibition, Rafayel."

Your face crumples, eyes red and swollen. Your period isn’t helping, it makes you even more susceptible to unwarranted emotional breakdowns every passing hour. You bury your face in a dress and sob like a kicked puppy.

Rafayel stands there for a second, his brow furrowing. Then he sighs and sinks down beside you, his knees brushing against yours.

His hands rise to your face, caressing your cheek with care. "My bodyguard always looks the most beautiful." He tilts your chin to kiss the tears away.

"Don't kiss me, I feel gross." You try to pull away. "And look at all this acne. How can you even...?"

"I'm not kissing the acne." Rafayel smiles faintly. His eyes soften as he takes in the sight in front of him. "I'm kissing you, you dummy."

"And right now?" His grin sharpens as he leans back slightly. "You look adorable."

"I can’t go to the exhibit, Rafayel." You whine annoyed by the sound of your own voice as overstimulation crowed your senses.

"Good." His voice is lazy, his arms sliding beneath your legs. Without warning, he lifts you effortlessly, adjusting you against his chest like you weigh nothing.

"Rafayel this is ridiculous." You bury your face in his chest.

"Shhh." He silences your protests with a peck to your lips. His arms tighten around you, carrying you toward the bed.

"You know how much I hate those things." His tone is light, but his hand slips beneath the curve of your knee, holding you securely. His mouth skims the side of your temple. "Honestly, you just gave me the best excuse to skip."

"But..."

"Nope." He sets you down on the bed, brushing your hair back from your face. "We’re staying in."

He slides in beside you, one arm looping beneath your shoulders. His hand splays low across your back, pulling you closer.

"If you feel awful, the least you can do is suffer with me." His mouth tilts against your temple. "And if you think this breakout makes you less beautiful, I guess I’m going to have to kiss you until you figure out how wrong you are."

"Starting now." He pulls you into an onslaught of kisses.

Sylus:

You drag another air purifier into the room, sneezing hard enough to make your head spin.

"God, this sucks." You flop onto the floor between the circle of purifiers, rubbing at the irritated skin of your neck. "How did natural selection fail this badly?"

Your breath hitches, throat burning. You close your eyes. Maybe if you just stay here, the purifiers will summon clean air or a new respiratory system.

That’s when you feel him.

"Did I interrupt your ritual, darling?"

You crack an eye open. Sylus stands above you, arms crossed, looking thoroughly amused.

"This is serious." You sniff, voice wrecked.

"Sure it is." He crouches down, invading your circle of air purifiers. "Should I sacrifice a goat or something?"

"You could bring me a tissue."

Sylus grins. "Or…" His hands slip beneath your arms, lifting you effortlessly. "I could just kidnap you and nurse you back to health myself."

"Sylus, what are you...?"

Without a word, he drops you onto the couch, pressing his hand against your forehead. His eyes narrow. "Hm. You might not survive the night."

"Stop it,"

"I’ll have to keep you in bed." His mouth curves wickedly. "For observation."

"Sylus!" You protest, trying to get up.

"No talking. Doctor’s orders."

His lips press against your burning cheek. His hand slides through your hair, nuzzling into you. His smile softens at the sound of your stuffy breath.

"Just relax." His voice lowers. "I’ve got you."

Xavier:

"You don’t have to stay." You reason trying to get your boyfriend out of your misery cave. "You’re tired. You’ve been running around all day."

"So?" His voice is quiet.

You glance at him through swollen eyes. Your skin is blotchy from the allergic reaction, red patches climbing up your neck and across your cheeks. You feel gross.

"So you don’t have to deal with this."

Xavier sinks down onto the floor beside you, resting his head on the bed where you lay draped. His gaze drops to the irritated skin on your throat.

"I’m not here because I have to." His hand lifts, hesitates, then curls gently around your hand. His thumb traces the tender skin of your palm.

"You look uncomfortable." You wince, voice thin.

"Yeah. I am." His smile is faint, almost fragile. "Because I hate seeing you like this."

You open your mouth to speak, but he cuts you off.

"Not because of how you look." His hand rises to your neck, cupping it carefully. His thumb brushes over a reddened patch of skin. His eyes darken. "Because I hate not knowing how to make it better."

"It’s just allergies."

"I know." His breath steadies. His eyes soften. "But I still wish I could fix it."

"You’re not going to scare me off." His voice drops lower. "You don’t have to look perfect for me to stay."

"But I feel—"

"I know." His thumb brushes your cheekbone. His breath catches as your gaze meets his. "Stay with me anyway."

Girl dad katsuki who nearly pees his pants when he finds out you're having a girl. He's a loud, aggressive, short tempered man with little patience, how was he going to deal with a daughter??

When she's first born and friends and family come over to visit her he makes sure that everyone washes and sanitizes thoroughly. He lets everyone know not to kiss her, especially on her face, and if his daughter gets sick he'll "blow their asses up.” or something along those lines.

At night when she cries he tells you to stay In bed and he'll handle it. at first he hated changing diapers, but he's gotten used to it… kinda. “There’s no way you should smell like this.. the hell is yer mom feeding you..” if a diaper change and a bottle don’t calm her screams he’ll hold her and sway around the room while humming or singing a tune to her. If he has to he’ll hold her all night while sleeping in the rocking chair so she can get a good nights sleep, even if it means his back will be in pain all morning.

He’s a big softie when it comes to her milestones. Her first words, first steps, the first time she tries solid foods, when she learns to clap, high-five and crawl. it all makes him feel really proud but also sad in a way. Her milestones are signs that she’s growing up and that’s something he wants to hold off for as long as possible.

He carries her around when and wherever she wants. “Daddy up!” she says while the three of you are out for a walk. He’ll smile down at her then put her on his shoulders and make airplane sounds. She's a Velcro baby, when he's doing his push ups she'll be on his back giggling, when he's cooking she's on his shoulders moving his hair like Remi (ratatouille) When he’s eating dinner she’ll be sitting in his lap waiting for him to share another bite of his food with her.

He loves creating little fireworks in the palm of his hand with his quirk for her because it makes her laugh really hard, and it's one of his favorite sounds in the whole world. He loves it when you buy her little versions of his merch. His favorite being the one that says “My daddy and hero all in #1” (I canon katsuki being #1) and there's a picture of him on the little onesies back.

He thought it would be hard being a "girl dad" but it's actually one of his favorite things In the world. He wears his title like a crown and wouldn't change it for anything. (He still wants a son tho)

💚 I'm not sure exactly HOW soldier boy and Sam crossed paths. Maybe Soldier Boy was walking by the side of the road, to another state because he doesn't have cash and a LOT of things changed since in the time he was on ice. so walking it is. and then maybe the sky ripped in half and Sam fell in his arms.

💚 maybe soldier boy decides that he may need some help and reaches out to The Boys to figure it out. They don't believe Sam at the beginning. They think he's lying to them or just maybe fell on his head. Sam is desperate to be believed and Hughie is like, “Hm, let's assume what you say is true, we don't have any way of bringing you back home, so all we can do at the moment is keep you safe, if you stick around…”

💚 Soldier Boy maybe contemplates leaving Sam in their hands, but at the end he doesn't, because Sam is attached to him, he says he'll stay with him, go with him, because back at home he's his older brother. And really, soldier has nothing better to do. so he sticks around with Sammy and The Boys. 

💚 Sammy is immediately liked by Kimiko, he quickly learns her sign language so they can talk, and she likes him for that, she even starts to consider him her friend. 

💚 Meanwhile Soldier Boy isn't very happy that Sammy is not spending as much time with him as he said he would. He glares at the woman everytime she walks by and he aggressively smokes 6 joints in a day, stinking up the place with the smell of weed and whatever drug he has rolled in there.

💚 Hughie likes Sammy too. appreciates his energy and knowledge. he's fun to talk to and not as aggressive as some of the rest *ahem* Butcher *ahem*. Hughie quickly asks him to tag along when he goes on errands, and has to be reminded to not yap about anything and everything to Sammy, after all, they weren't totally sure if Sam wasn't a cop or a secret agent. even tho no one believes he is, Butcher does, and whatever Butcher says, goes. 

💚 Soldier Boy grumbles everytime Hughie aks Sammy if he'd like to tag along to go collect a package, so he turns to Annie and complains, “Tell your fucking twink to stop dragging Sammy with him everywhere he goes, he'll get him killed!”

💚 Soldier Boy also just broods around, he would harass them for his own sick pleasure but he had to behave if he wanted them to help his new little friend, Sammy, so he stays put, glares at them, insults them to get on their nerves, and tries to pry as much information out of Sammy about his brother, Dean, as possible. 

💚 Soldier Boy would also see red if anyone flirts w his boy. Frenchie is pretty touchy, his love language is physical contact, he's kind, he's funny and he's smart. Men and women like him. and Frenchie happened to be a bit of a sucker for broad shoulders and puppy eyes. Oh, he liked Sam the second he saw him. He loved his little mole, his sharp nose, his sad eyes, soft hair and big, giant body of his. He was gorgeous. 

💚 and so when he notices that Sammy was stressed and in need of some relief, he offers to smoke with him, Sammy at first declines in a polite manner, but then at some point he agrees, because at this point, he has nothing to lose and he hasn't slept properly in 3 days. So he sits down next to Frenchie and they take turns smoking a joint. Frenchie watches the man’s shoulders sag, he watches him start to loosen up a bit, then he starts to whine and mumble all sorts of nonsense, he giggles and paws at Frenchie. And before their lips meet Soldier Boy barges in and hauls Sam over his shoulder, throws some homophobic slurs towards Frenchie and leaves. and Frenchie shouts behind him, “You're only calling me that because you're mad you want to fuck him too!”

💚 And Ohhh when Butcher realises Sammy is a smartypants and can manage just fine on his own in a fight? He quickly tries to convert him to the mission, tries to get him involved in their plans. Butcher realises how valuable he could be when he can hack security cameras, can shoot whatever firearm you give him and is well read and strong and pretty and smart and sooo smart and–

💚 MM will also like Sammy. he likes his big brain and resourcefulness. I just didn't go into super detail because MM has a history with Soldier Boy and will try to kill him at any given chance. His storyline with Soldier Boy hurt me a lot and I feel horrible for what happened to his family at the hands of Soldier Boy, a racist piece of shit. MM is the only one really trying to convince Sam to leave Soldier Boy, that he's a monster, and the angst of it all, ohhh it hurts!!! it hurts!!!!!

I’m the anon who sent you info about Sam’s location. I don’t think I was clear enough. What I actually meant was the opposite of what you understood. I was thinking that maybe Sam was alone in that hotel and either became friends with Pedro or met him as part of a preplanned arrangement. At some point, Pedro might have asked him to take him to the distillery, and since Vicky was nearby, she joined them. That’s one possible scenario. Still, no one except them knows the real story. What puzzles me is why Vicky geo-tagged the location and shared a story with Sam’s voice—that’s the part I don’t get. And what’s even stranger is that Sam didn’t seem to mind at all about it.

See everyone is so preoccupied focussing on SH and VF, and plates on the table and whatever, even napkins that seem to fell of the table... 🙄 It baffles me and also disgusts me actually how these narratives evolves around a) a waterfall and a male voice (the part I dismiss as it is not factual proven it is his voice), b) Sam's presence in Mexico and c) a mutual follow.

But try to focus on what I do think Sam was much more interested in, as it is quite the interesting thing to read about and search out a bit more. I gave some links yesterday, but I don't think people really read the articles or even opened them.

* Knowing this is the 90s-mid 2000s the latest, you would’ve stick out like a sore thumb, but you never really cared. Better to express yourself now than regret it later

* Besides, you have your DnD characters and loved playing at the local DnD sessions. People seem either really invested in them or feel like their head’s about to explode because of how cutesy and fuzzy your character was

* Jerry was the former. He saw you a couple of times playing in these sessions, but never dared to talk to you. He honestly thought you were a weirdo, considering you displayed your interests very out and proud (he may have also been jealous by that)

* One day, you two managed to be in the same session, and he was honestly shocked that you knew about DnD so well. Even your characters seemingly blend into the world so well. He’s honestly so fascinated by you in general, but now he was hooked.

* Would absolutely try going to your locker and talked to you, but it ends with him saying “I forgot something” and walking out of school (he’s going to be beating himself for that interaction)

* The best thing for you is to approach him first. He’ll be shaking and sweating as you do so, especially if the club’s right next to him (they’ll never let him live it down)

* His head explodes if you offer to take him to your house

* Once there, it’s going to be very awkward for him. Your room would exactly match your fashion choices (cutesy posters, hello kitty plushies, a plush blanket) and he would stand out like a sore thumb. He will perk up if you showed him your character sheets and favorite table top games

* I think that would be your first date; a tabletop game. Something simple, so you guys can actually get to know each other and wow! You guys have so much in common, it’s unbelievable

* (He’s definitely bragging to 4Chan about getting more pussy than any of the guys in the forum)

* This relationship would be secretive. It was bad in the comics when Jerry and Agnes was dating; can you imagine the amount of bullying he’s get from the club for dating someone this loud and proud about their interest?!

* Though he definitely daydreams about you. You’re so nice to him, smell nice, the way you effortlessly color code your outfit…it’s honestly so amazing he got someone like you

* If the club isn’t around him, he likes to peek in your locker and walk you to class. You two going absolutely insane for the new Studio Ghibli film would be adorable honestly

tbh i’m 70% an elriel, 30% an elucien. i enjoy lucien a lot more as a character than i do azriel, but im an elain girl above anything and i typically stay in the elriel tags bc the elucien ones are often filled with gwynriels being pretty anti-elain (which is why im in an elriel mindset).

all im trying to say is that it feels like such a breath of fresh air to see accounts like yours that show that they too are here for elain and it’s been such a shame that this ship war has clouded this so much, where people feel that they have to be an elriel to go against elucien and vice versa. and just spit balling of this, but it’s bonkers that there is an expectation that eluciens would root for a gwynriel book and that gwynriels are getting mad that eluciens are stating this. literally why?? shipping elain and lucien doesn’t mean you ship (or care) about gwynriel

We (Eluciens) are most definitely here also loving, defending, and pumped for Elain! I can guarantee you that. We may not always be as loud as some other voices in the fandom, but we are here. I completely understand your frustration with the elucien tag, because at times I have also run into those same frustrations and wish people would be more considerate of others when selecting their tags. I’ve posted my feelings on tag etiquette before. But I have made a lot of Elucien friends who are big Elain fans as well so you can know you are not alone. I wouldn’t be posting content, metas, and writing 360k words of fanfiction that all revolve around Elain if it weren’t for that community.

I appreciate you coming into my inbox in a nice way. Shipping is an inherently passionate affair we have all stumbled upon. It comes from a place of well…obsession. So expecting others to fall into line and be forcibly happy for not getting their hopeful outcome is borderline ridiculous but also really callous. The number of times I have seen folks declare Azriel’s book is “definitely happening” next since HOFAS came out while diminishing Eluciens who believe Elain is next (straight up have called us delusional)…nobody ever called them out for creating discord and nobody certainly asked them to settle down and be happy whoever is next. So it’s VERY telling that sentiment is happening now when more and more pro Elain opinions are circulating.

I hope we can all learn that fandom IS big enough for all of us to exist with our differing ideas/opinions/likes/dislikes - and if you see a take you don’t like, nobody is attacking you. You can simply scroll on and let them live. Or you can engage in civil discourse without blaming the other side for starting a rift. That is perfectly normal fandom behavior. We all deserve that kind of freedom. I really want to express all my admiration, delight and love for the last chapter, I don't have the words to fully describe what your fanfic has been doing to me for the past year and a half. Watching this story unfold is one of the best things that has happened to me in my life, and this fanfic will forever remain a work of art for me <3

I would also really like to ask one question that has been bothering me the entire chapter, since the topic of Stone's scars and their backstory was raised. Does Stone have a scar from the electric shock from the robot from cube that happened in chapter 3 "The moment I met you"? As far as I remember, it was not a full blow, but it was still strong enough to disable Stone's arm for some time. And if it does exist, was it discovered during that loving, thorough examination of his body, or did it merge with the lightning scar from the 2nd movie, making it hard to notice unless you knew it was there?

I'm just too amused by the fact from "Had to be you" that Robotnik "doesn't remember" all of his first meetings with Stone. And Stone didn't remind him or tell him about this particular one, about a boring meeting that turned into a testing ground for a new prototype.

So Robotnik might not even remember the origin of this scar if he found it? Again, if it even exists xd

(Also, this boring meeting is one of my favorite moments from the initial fanfics of the "Coffee and Mayhem" series, because I love how this difference is traced too much, how Robotnik made Stone the main target of a huge ruthless robot with an electric shock, because he dared to laugh, and now he can't live without the sound of that same laughter. This path... I'm too crazy about it. Seriously, this fanfic has occupied all my thoughts for over a year, and I don't want it to stop, thank you for this and for the emotions you gave me)

As for your question, that's a very good question! But, I will have to disappoint you there I'm afraid: I didn't picture the hit from "The moment I met you" to leave a scar, since Stone was only grazed by it. It is a VERY good point though, and with the lightning scars from S2 being there too, I would say - if you like it, imagine that it did scar, and did merge with the other ones there. It would actually fit in. Just cause I haven't explicitly written it, doesn't mean it exists ;)

Robotnik is - not face blind, he just deletes everything he didn't deem interesting. Stone, back then, wasn't interesting to him (yet) so he totally shoved that all aside as strange coincidence, and only remembers the bits Stone shoves in his face in "Had to be you". He's an idiot like that XD

(And honestly? The earlier fics are my favorite part to read, these days. I go back and see how much they evolved, how much I evolved, and it makes me really emotional. And, really, sometimes I go back and pick little details out that bothered Robotnik back then, just to make him appreciate it NOW. It's funny to me personally XD

uhhhhh meant to post this a hot minute ago, but just wanted to tell my followers that i'm probs not gonna be writing for ANY of the natlan characters (minus capitano) or doing any commissions for them. pretty sure i don't even have to explain why, we all know why. it's not even out of spite or having a massive hate boner, just sheer disappointment and my already low expectations being underdone in the worst way possible.

i expected this from mihoyo, but i'm not expecting them to change anything, sadly, because they already pulled this with sumeru. i doubt mihoyo would ACTUALLY listen to the genuine complaints and feedback that certain parts of the fandom have to say. which is disheartening, but imo, if they aren't gonna get revenue from some people, then they'll just focus and pay attention more to the groups who will give them money for the upcoming characters. it sucks, BUT that doesn't mean that you guys can't share your thoughts and opinions on natlan and its cast. everyone is entitled to feel how they feel, and that's okay, great even! but i do hope those people in the fandom genuinely understand why some people think the way they do about natlan and why they're so upset in the first place.

and to anyone who will tell me to "just play a different game," i will admit that genshin has a special place in my heart. it's the game that kickstarted me into writing and doing my comms. however, just because i love a game doesn't mean i can't have genuine criticism towards it! just because you love something doesn't mean you can't point out when it's doing something you feel uncomfortable with.

Why is everyone rooting for it takes two? Tbh its one of my least fav gaming videos. I havent even watched the whole thing bc i get bored… why do yall like it so much??

i am so sorry you feel this way bc it takes two is one of the Best dapg we have ever gotten--revival run or otherwise.

despite dnp's arguably most popular playthrough (undertale) being composed of long videos, dapg doesn't generally post Long videos. so it's sheer length of 52 minutes is a revelation.

combine that with gameplay that both of them get to partake in, and you already know you're in for an excellent ride. again, they don't generally play a lot of 2 player computer games, despite us knowing they spend a Lot of time gaming together, so already it feels special since they both get to play.

the game itself is very dnp-coded, which they even comment on. it's a creative exploration through an emotional and difficult time, and yet, it still has time for humour, teamwork, and enjoyment. this game is a Journey--that's the whole point. and dnp are Very good at navigating it, in the way they do things best: together. (and you can't tell me phil's multiple 'i am your husBaand' didn't rewire your brain)

the grandness of the it takes two video is in their synchronicity. we've got video evidence of them struggling to play co-op games together--they even think it's going to go poorly, as it takes two has a Reputation for being quite difficult, particularly the boss battles. there's a reason it's the marraige counselling game, in a sense. and yet they skated through it. constantly on the same page. it's symphonic.

alongside that it's just a pleasure to sit down and watch. the bants are on point, the vibes are focused but chill, and the length of the video plus the quick turnaround upload speed during gamingmas meant that there wasn't a lot of editing to distract or disrupt the vibe. it's a very raw and unfiltered dnp--it's cozy. there's something about it that's just calming for the soul.

i enjoy getting to feel the Flow of a story, especially alongside the people i'm watching play it. despite the varied environments and quick-paced sections, i never felt lost in regards to the narrative (unlike their Brothers video). but still, there was high-octane moments! space for bants! a little bit of a respite in all the chaos.

maybe i need to say it with my full chest but trust and communication are my kink and no dnp upload demonstrate this better than it takes two. as fond as i am of dan's outbursts and yelling, there is nothing like watching dnp on the same page just absolutely crushing a task. there's a time and a place for both, but i much prefer them both having a good time as opposed to constantly bickering over something (hence my preference for the it takes two gameplay compared to the bread & fred video, though i'm curious your take on that particular video as it's quite the contrast)

almost everyone Knows what we come to dapg for, and it's not usually the gaming. this video takes that and makes the gaming Part of it in the best way possible.

plus, i'm eagerly awaiting them clickbaiting us with another insane title like 'dan and phil get divorced' was. truly excellent no notes.
