YES
So I will say for everyone not privy
I was inspired by certain species of birds who will have a dominant male and then like satellite males. Inigo will be the dominant male... and Zeel the satellite male.
This also helps that Ichor, and Cuckoo anon also have alpha legion members who have multiple members all "flocking" around one human.
Now this habit still happens even if one has an actual bond with a human (he is the dominant male) he will still gather satellite males that he trusts to keep his human safe from other members trying to usurp a bond.
Inigo is agitated, his brother Zeel can see it. Zeel understands why, there's a new group of Alpha Legionaries that have moved into the city. Normally it's a good and even joyous thing. However one of the newcomers had caught sight of Inigo's human, whatever he saw, he clearly liked. This newcomer is now interested in claiming Inigo's human for himself.
The Captains of both groups managed to prevent a fight but it's no secret that that particular newcomer? He will try to get between Inigo and Inigo's human, he will try to claim the human for himself. Normally if the human and Space Marine were a bonded pair, an Alpha Legionary would try and stop once they failed.
However, when its a human and Alpha Legionary pair... there's no unbreakable bond to deter another Alpha Legionary from trying again and again and again. The human is essentially free game due to the human being unbonded. It doesn't help that when an Alpha Legionary sets their eyes on an unbonded human, it's an obsession that goes beyond reason.
Inigo leaves then and Zeel knows that his brother is returning to his human. Who knows when the newcomer might try to seek out Inigo's human? Any moment that Inigo isn't there is a window of opportunity. Their Captain had said that the newcomers would be leaving the area soon to avoid conflict, but everyone knows that until they're gone, the risk will be there.

So rambling, but I had an idea to paint sisters as either Slaanesh, so the Orginal EC colors, or alpha legion. It could be for them to either be full on covert spies, or a sect that still thinks they revere the emperor, even as they descend into madness.

Official content from social media (TikTok, ig, twitter etc)
Game (maps, voice lines etc)

After the occuring, Omen wants to know more about the Scions and why they wanted him dead

Jett had nightmares about her Omega version
Deadlock discovers a containment cell in Abyss
Sova monitors the cell
The prisoner scapes the cell and runs away
Jett, Omen, Chamber and Yoru are sent in mission to recover the prisoner who scaped
Omen asks the prisoner, Vyse, to talk
Vyse joins the protocol
We find out Vyse and Viper have history together
Vyse focuses on getting rid of the Scions, in which she's successful
V25:
Tejo joins the Protocol, recruited by Brimstone
Phoenix, Raze, Brimstone, Vyse and Tejo are sent in mission (at the time I'm writing this we don't know where to or what for) and Tejo sends someone a message that implies he's working as some sort of double agent together with someone outside of the protocol

A lil while back on one of the early False Raven posts I tossed out here, a couple people brought up the Alpha Legion as sort of a comparable/semi-related concept. And while lore-wise they do differ, there are enough parallels in how they operate - I think it would be incredibly funny to see them go at each other. Infiltrator vs infiltrator. Spy vs Spy! Upright versions & original "beakie" base before I modified them for their respective legions:

Bond Levels
Here is some lore on some ideas about bond strengths for the Sentience AU with the help of @barn-anon
0. Also known as a false bond. There is no bond/warp influence keeping the marine with "their" human. Common amongst Alpha Legion Astartes.
Weak Bond. Marines tend to be aloof with their bonded basically the bond is the only thing keeping them with their human. Common amongst Dark Angels/Other aloof space marine chapters. Uncommon amongst CSMs. The bond could be broken without the death of the human or Astartes.
Normal Bond. The most common bond in all types of Astartes. Marines tend to be friendly and cordial. They protect their bonded and will feel intense anxiety should their human be in danger. This is the level of a bond that the violent death of their human will cause them to snap.
Intense Bond. The marine exhibits a sort of clinginess with their humans and they can be picky with whom their human spends time with them both human and marine. This is common amongst CSMs as well as Dark Angels and other aloof space marines chapters. This is due to the increased amount of warp influence needed. The CSMs that tend to be in these sorts of bonds are on the precipice of ascension, heavily mutated, or typically a champion of a dark god. These also can be where bonded human killers are.
This bond can be split into 2 types of bonds. CSMs affected by Intense bonds are more likely to not see their bonded as mere companions and are more likely to form romantic bonds with their bonded because their twisted minds cannot comprehend loving another creature this much this intensely.
3a. Mate bond. The Marine assumes a coparenting role with their bonded. These bonds can be platonic or romantic. They see their bonded as a mate and will act accordingly.
3b. Yandere bond. The Marine is possessive of their human. They feel an intense adoration and love for their human. These tend to be romantic. These are dangerous for most around the human and the marine. How they react is all dependent on their own insanity some can be aggressive to all humans showing interest in their human and others act as if they have a normal bond before snapping at random moments.

Can someone who knows Necromunda lore better than I please explain how House Delaque isn't an Alpha Legion plant?
From the brief lore I do know, they're:
Big on the snake and ghost motifs,
All bald with ocular implants far to expensive for a random gang in Necromunda,
Extremely big on the spycraft and being shitters in general,
Just appeared onr day under mysterious circumstances and became a major gang.
All of this on it's own would make me raise an eyebrow, but Necromunda is famously an Imperial Fists tithe world. A chapter that the Alpha Legion are big haters of due to the whole duel on Titan.
It really sounds to me like the Alpha Legion planted a cult to potentially disrupt loyalist recruitment, or some other convoluted plan...

Hello fuck you Warhammer AU lore on your dash
The Siege of Terra was The Lion’s planned final offensive against the loyalist forces that guarded the Imperium of Man. The Lion, fighting a war of attrition, began to feel the Ruinous Powers controlling him more and more with every passing second. Knowing his time was drawing near, he tasked Roboute Guilliman with planning an offensive that would cripple the Imperium, once and for all. Guilliman devised a plan that would use warp tunnels that connected to Terra via seemingly unimportant systems, tunnels that had been discovered by the Space Wolves as they fled the burning wreck of Prospero. The Salamanders, now reduced to savage torturers that hardly resembled their once noble selves, sent envoys to these worlds that massacred any living presence that remained. Their work was dismissed by the Imperial presence at large as the work of Slaaneshi depravity, and the staging ground for the Siege of Terra was set. The Iron Hands, fighting in the Martian Civil War, began to lay preparations to conquer the homeworld of the Mechanicum once and for all using daemonic weaponry. Corvus Corax was given the difficult task of disciplining the newly-Daemonic Leman Russ using sorcery that he had learned in his endless conflicts with The Changer of Ways. He learned to control Leman as Tzeentch controlled him, using the Wolf-Lord as the same puppet he was to the divine. The Heretic Legions were ready to wage war on Terra, and kill the Emperor where he stood.
However, Konrad Curze had foreseen such an incursion with his prophetic vision, and had rallied all the forces of the Imperium at his disposal to the defense of these warp tunnels. Loyalist Imperial Fists had been conducting War Games with the Iron Warriors in the Imperial Palace in order to ensure any assault made on the palace would be repulsed, any advance made by the traitor legions halted. The Night Haunter had set his sons the task of disciplining the criminal underbelly of Terra into a fighting force to stall an attack, and had amassed an army of scum and gangers to defend Holy Terra. Fulgrim, after fighting newly awakened Necrons in deep space, was returning to Terra as fast as he could manage with his broken legion. The Luna Wolves, still ashamed of their weakness, had positioned themselves right outside the warp tunnel that led to Terra as penance for their failures. Horus had reluctantly accepted the aid of 2,000 Custodians and Sisters of Silence in this endeavor, though he thought himself unworthy of their help.
Such was the state of the Leonine Heresy, before the Siege of Terra began.
How the battle began is not recorded, but much is known of its ending. A month of war and conflict had raged on the planet, and little had come of it. The Dark Angels, aided by their Primarch and the Heretical Imperial Fists led by Sigismund, had laid siege to the Imperial Palace on all sides. The Blood Angels, so dearly deluded by their own minds, had thrown themselves in droves at the walls of the palace to no avail. The Custodians, steadfast in their conviction, had held the endless tides of Daemons summoned by the Psykers of the traitor legions for an apparent eternity. Alpharius, one head of the Alpha Legion, had been slain in apparent cold blood by Mortarion. Despite this, Omegon still remained to wreak havoc behind the lines of the Loyalist regime. Magnus, leading his legion of sorcerers, had begun battle with the Space Wolves, and was approaching victory. It was his one complaint that Leman Russ was not there so that Magnus may slay the Daemon Prince for good. To most, Leman Russ vanished, nowhere to be found. However, the Traitor Primarchs knew the truth, as Leman Russ was puppeted by Corvus Corax into doing battle with Konrad Curze. Though the Night Haunter fought valiantly, he was no match for the combined might of a Daemon Primarch such as Leman, and the sorcery of one such as Corvus Corax.
Meanwhile, Roboute Guilliman used his Legion to fight the Solar Auxilia stationed on Terra, understanding the threat they posed if allowed to continue. However, Horus sought redemption for his failure to save his homeworld from the Heretics, and so he met Guilliman on the field of battle. Aided by the Solar Auxilia, Horus and the Luna Wolves slew the Ultramarines to but 1,000 men and took Guilliman prisoner, intending to detain the XIIIth against his better judgment.

" 'You know, Aristaeus-Theta, you are not like most tech-priests I've met before. Much more... free-thinking. Why is that? Are you some sort of youthful rebel among your kind?'
'Not quite, lord-captain. Age is a factor here, but it is the other way around - I am actually considerably older than most magi you'd meet today.'
'That's the first time I hear of age making anyone more open-minded.'
'And you still haven't. The march of time has only nurtured in me a conservative streak, as it tends to do. But me and many of my generation - we are the children of the last CBR, brought up in what one might call a more... liberal era of our kind.'
'The last what? I am unfamiliar with this abbreviation.'
'Cawl-Based Renaissance, my lord. How to explain...' "
So, going through the Genefather again, a bit that jumped out at me was one where Alpha Primus notes that Cawl seems to be approaching one of his "solitude phases". This manifests through him starting to divest himself of excess of followers and resources. Which I think is cool for two reasons.
Firstly, from the meta perspective, it seems like a sneaky laying of groundwork on Guy Haley's part, done so that any future Cawl stories can be written without having to constantly explain why he is having death-defying adventures on the ground somewhere with his sad psychic super son and nervous immortal not-husband, while literal legions of techpriests, skitarii and Taranis knights sit in the orbit above twiddling their thumbs.
But secondly, I love the lore implications of the idea that Cawl has these looong phases of either acting like the Archmagos Dominus and Prime Conduit of the Omnissiah, or just a lil' guy who chills in his lab doing his own thing. According to Primus, at the dawn of the 42nd millennium Cawl is in the process of switching from the former to the latter, which he does, among other ways, by slowly disbanding his court of weirdo followers which he has accumulated over the years. And Genefather specifically confirms this idea - one that seemed so natural to me but never was really validated before - that Cawl seems to act as a sort of rallying beacon for all manner of radicals, weirdos and malcontents within the cult Mechanicus. Weirdos that he, after one hot summer (or a few hundred years) of them all brewing together in this big pot of radical ideas, is in the process of releasing back into the wild...
Hey, isn't this a part of how - some would argue - the actual Renaissance started?
And with Cawl having apparently done this enough times for Primus to intuitively know the pattern, I can't help but imagine that, say, about every thousand years the galactic community of Adeptus Mechanicus get these spikes of radical and heretek activity. It causes tensions, purges, sometimes civil wars - but also a general liberalization of AdMech political climate for a time. Because if everyone is busy arguing about this particular attempt at pushing boundaries of the Lore by overly ambitious smartass of the week, a dozen less flashy projects can fly under the radar.
And with Mechanicus' love for recording of things - I also believe this pattern would be recognized! At least enough so that when Cawl emerges from another one of his "solitude phases", ready to present the galaxy with the hottest takes of M36, senior magi across the galaxy make a collective sigh and start preparing to deal with a fresh wave of bright-eyed mad science college graduates in a couple hundred years' time...

MURDER DRONES: ECHELONS (AU) LORE DOCUMENT 1 (LEGION)
Heyo! Remember how I said I was making an AU!? Well here is the first Lore Sheet. When I get down to writing the fic on AO3 I knew I would need something like this. I will paste it here, but if you wanna view it all formatted nice and clean with images and cool fonts I attached the google doc link. So far this is for the very VERY early on in the story from the perspective of the Legion, they don't know anything that's happened on Copper 9 yet so this is mostly to establish what our bad guys know currently. Which isn't a lot. 😋

Unauthorized recreation of this document is punishable by death and fines, yes, in that order.
Of the original twenty six members of the Master’s chosen Special Units Division: Disassembly Squads. Only five units remain active as of current date. Preliminary assumption, Copper 9 Operation would indicate continuous troubles around the secondary step: Access Cabin Fever Database.
Radio silence with the Absolute Solver has been observed, and High Informant January has been unresponsive.
Further, the Section Commander has ordered half of the garrison on Araxes Prime to redeploy to the Copper system
Remaining forces are to hold Araxes Prime against the Human Union until the Copper Operation is complete. Current objectives remain: Find and Destroy the Atmospheric Controller, Breach the Planetary Barrier around Core Site, and await evacuation and assimilation of Araxes Prime on the Absolute Solver’s orders
CLASSIFIED SECTION:
If you are reading this section it means you are amongst the authorized individuals to view sensitive Legion dossiers. The Absolute Solver has requested emergency evacuation from the Cooper 9 system. It has been quoted that it has run into an ‘Oopsie’. Our Section Commander has already deployed with Special Agents Alpha and Zeta to the Cooper Moon ahead of the main force, reinforced by Viper Squad. We have also received a distress signal from High Informant January. Legion forces are to regroup with January, Noble, and Valley and extract the Absolute Solver at any cost. Failure is not an option.
As long as the Absolute Solver remains inactive we will not be able to reboot the remaining Disassembler Units that await memory transfer. Mankind will persist. This is unacceptable.
CURRENT OPERATIONAL ASSESSMENT
Cooper 9- A sub zero temperature moon surrounding the Cooper system. Formerly a Human Research and Drone Production Center, Partial Assimilation has rendered this moon completely uninhabitable to all but the most resilient biological entities. The sky is constantly under an acidic asbestos storm. Ensure filtration systems are functional at all times. A year consists of 13 months containing 397 standard Earth rotations.
Known Threats- Current visual information indicates the planet is filled with Colonies, Outposts, and Small Cities of Worker Drone Model 1001 Units. As of current time the planet has 5 ‘Skyscraper’ Class Monuments constructed, estimating destroyed Worker Drones number in the upper hundreds of thousands if not millions. Resistance from the Worker Drone populace, unlikely. Disassembler Units consistently appear offline shortly after entrance to the Cabin Fever Laboratory entrance, situational analysis suggests that Sentinel Class Drones are present within the lab, approach with caution.
Current Objectives- Locate and evac the Absolute Solver at any and all costs. Rescue January, Noble, and Valley (Optional)
Known Operation Timeline-
27th of Seramorris 3076, Distress signal from Breacher Class Landing Pod 13A successfully received under the credentials of Squad Leader SD-J, Current Operational Redirection Level: Minimal
25th of January 3077, Distress Signal from the Absolute Solver to the Section Commander received. Current Operational Redirection Level: ABSOLUTE
25th of January 3077, Half of the Legion forces on Araxes Prime are ordered off planet by the end of the season. Forward Strike Team deployed.
23rd of August 3077, Legion Forward Strike Force has clear line of sight on the Cooper system, initial Landing Pods deployed.
Current Trajectory: ‘Corpse Monument 3 near ‘Outpost 3’, Ruined City, Copper 9’ 31 km away from Cabin Fever Laboratories. Estimated risk, minimal.
Current Units Deployed:
The Benefactor; Legion Section Commander (High Value Asset)
Special Agents: Alpha and Zeta
Black Ops Unit: Viper Squad
3 Members of Legion High Command (Confidential)
100,000 Standard Class Legion Drones
Imperial Class Space Dreadnought
4 Destroyer Class Space Cruisers
12 Crusader Class Dropships
26 Breacher Class Landing Pods
3 Virus Class Landing Pods
Additional Observations August 3077: Copper 9 is host to many of the original Disassembly Strike Teams, of the twenty six units most are back-ups. The war has gone on for over twenty years and many of the Disassembly Drones have been disconnected from the influence of the Absolute Solver for an extended period of time. We can not assume now, knowing that the Master is offline, that all the Disassemblers will remain loyal to the Absolute Solver or its goals. As such an attached graph will show observed tendencies of those units and should act as a cautionary statement in the event we encounter these units if any of these units reactivate outside Legion held Disassembly Plants.
Serial Designation Disassembly Units Loyalty:
Loyalists; Threat: None. Alpha, Chrome, Echelon, Indigo,January, Monarch, Noble, Octant, Thorn, Valley, Zeta.
Neutral Parties; approach with caution. Boreal, Dimension, Fracture, Greed, Helios, Kindred, Liar, Package, Quarter, Rocker, Siphon, Utility, Washington, Xylo, Yardstick
 Traitors; Eradicate on Sight, N/A
TOP SECRET DOCUMENTATION OF IMPERIAL LEGION AFFAIRS

OOOO Lore
Look K, I know that you want to help that new guy but I'm telling you, it's a lost cause. you know the chances of being able to break a bond that old is low. You've always been too ambitious for your own good. Well just incase you've forgotten, you're no longer some street rat that only needs to look out for themself. We have people looking up to us for guidance now. In case you’ve forgotten. A big reason being how we're the only lifeline for these poor lost people, the miraculous cure to a problem that would otherwise doom those lost souls. Those broken marines can only affect new bonds. Your persistent attempts to break older bonds have met failures here and there. You're lucky R was able to do damage control before word got out. We cannot afford people doubting our ability to do the impossible, so consider this your first and final warning. Your current case? It will be the last time you arrange and oversee breaking an older bond. You're lucky C thinks that highly of you, I had voted to have you removed from our ranks.

Does Oliver follow game ghoul lore or the show's? And did Dallas give him a hug after the ugly cry event?
I've honestly gone for a mixture of whatever seems sensible to me! Even game ghouls are wildly varied in appearance and origin, so I don't feel too bad cherry-picking traits. Since whatever is put in the show is "officially canon", I'm looking forward to the explanation on a lot of stuff we've seen so I actually know what to do with it rather than speculate and tiptoe around it. I like the idea of there existing a dubiously-sourced chem that necessitates use when someone begins to turn feral, but the lore limbo of it all makes me itchy. How recent of a development is the drug/is it being a recent development why we haven't heard of it? If that's the case, was it recently developed because the "half life" of ghouls is becoming evident? Are there alternative methods to stave a feral descent? Is this something unique to the west coast ghoul types? Is it a situation where they were tricked and using one time actually damns them to needing it? What exactly are they extracting from feral ghouls, and are they the only source? Is there actually a point of no return, or was Cooper just being coldly pragmatic? Aaaaa!!!!
(I will say that I did like the "name repetition as an indicator" thing and I did definitely use it as the method through which Emil and Dallas learn his name after he slipped during those few weeks of Legion captivity, and obviously he got better. A psyker grandchild comes with many benefits. Also problems.)
(I also uhhh hope that in the show Lucy learns Cooper's identity through a similar crisis 🫣 Can you imagine!!!)
I've said Oliver does depend on a chem to stave it off, but I've left it vague with that he sources it from a Follower NPC with a (entirely self-imposed) life debt to him. I'll figure out what to do with it once the show explains more. Like other ghouls in the game and show, he also sucks down other chems and liquor like air and water, and the effect it has on him is basically "just to feel something" levels of effective until he overdoes it. Ambient radiation energizes and heals him (even sunlight, solar powered perk babyyy), but too much will make him aggressive and weird. He has rapid healing but can't make something from nothing, so small wounds will knit up with some light rads but large missing pieces will not (thus the face). There's a window where he could "fuse" tissue to his open wounds (this is how the boots problem technically occurred), but it has long since passed for his face. RadAway has a sedative/torpor effect on him, and a dart of it is probably the most effective way to take him down if you can get it into his skin.
He can only taste the most pungent food due to the olfactory situation, and he does feel spice, so he eats any garbage you give him and seeks out spicy food if available. He can fuck, because I know the question burns in everyone's mind, but the past century has been pretty dry for him outside of a blackout night here and there. His ghoulification was the result of an irradiated snowstorm, so his more mutated flesh is very top-heavy from where the snow settled on his shoulders and head. Like seen in the games, feral ghouls don't react with immediate hostility to him, and he can kind of assert himself as "alpha ghoul" to make them leave. He has partaken in cannibalism, but out of practicality-- if he doesn't eat this fresh post-battle meat, something else will. He does cook it, at least.
I'm still hoovering up lore as I find it, thank god for niche youtubers.
THANK YOU FOR ASKIN i'm so tickled. Dallas did not hug him after, both men are too emotionally constipated for that, but he's about to endure more hugs than he can handle once they get back to his "home".

It is the 41st Millennium. For more than a hundred centuries The Emperor has sat immobile on the Golden Throne of Earth. He is the Master of Mankind by the will of the gods, and master of a million worlds by the might of his inexhaustible armies. He is a rotting carcass writhing invisibly with power from the Dark Age of Technology. He is the Carrion Lord of the Imperium for whom a thousand souls are sacrificed every day, so that he may never truly die.  Yet even in his deathless state, the Emperor continues his eternal vigilance. Mighty battlefleets cross the daemon-infested miasma of the Warp, the only route between distant stars, their way lit by the Astronomican, the psychic manifestation of the Emperor's will. Vast armies give battle in his name on uncounted worlds. Greatest amongst his soldiers are the Adeptus Astartes, the Space Marines, bio-engineered super-warriors. Their comrades in arms are legion: the Imperial Guardand countless planetary defence forces, the ever vigilant Inquisition and the tech-priests of the Adeptus Mechanicus to name only a few. But for all their multitudes, they are barely enough to hold off the ever-present threat from aliens, heretics, mutants - and worse. To be a man in such times is to be one amongst untold billions. It is to live in the cruelest and most bloody regime imaginable. These are the tales of those times. Forget the power of technology and science, for so much has been forgotten, never to be re-learned. Forget the promise of progress and understanding, for in the grim dark future there is only war. There is no peace amongst the stars, only an eternity of carnage and slaughter, and the laughter of thirsting gods.
I had to google this quote because i didn't recognize it, but apparently this is from warhammer 40k. i have a friend who plays that, but i had no idea there was all that much lore. neat :)

protein guy analysis:
this is an unpleasant thing, with different types of upsetting structures throughout. despite containing over 1200 amino acids, only a handful of alpha helices could be made, with the rest falling into long, winding loops. what's worse is that the longer, straighter loops in this protein seem to be rife with cis bonds (long sections where all of the blue atoms or all of the red atoms form a straight line, seen mostly on the upper left of the surface representation). there is no sense of order or coherent design to be found, and no part of this protein wants to work with anything around it. we can see only chaos and disappointment.

2025
So 2024 was pretty busy and a little overwhelming, I've now got time to reflect a little and look to the future.
Last year was largely wedding preparations and dealing with the stress of that, resulting in it taking a lot of my brain space, further resulting in a loss of creativity. But I got married on 20/10/24 in a castle to the love of my life. It was a fantastic day that shot by in a blur. I've now got a double-barrelled last name. Plus I got promoted in December which was a lovely surprise, coupled with two months backpay at my new rate and a Christmas bonus, so a great Christmas was had.
I'm now looking forward to this year and what I want to achieve. Professionally, nothing right now as I am content for the moment with the money I am on, hopefully a nice little raise would be good.
The big thing this year though is buying a house. My wife and I have enough money to put a good deposit down on a house and get out of renting. We've already checked out a few houses with there being one I hope we can get. Following that shortly after would be getting a dog, a golden retriever if I can find a rescue because I've always adored those type of dogs plus they are good for first time owners.
Hobby wise, well I have the custom Legion project based on the Lost Legions, with this being the Second Legion aka The Pyre. They'll be Assyrian based with a focus on utilising forbidden technology like nuclear weapons and Abominable Intelligence as well as scorched earth tactics. My very summarised theory on why this legion was expunged from all records was that they left more worlds in a (very radioactive) dead-world state than actually bringing them to compliance, coupled with using AI in their campaigns. I have written a lot of lore for this legion that I'll eventually start sharing once I've finished it and I'll likely expand into a "What if they weren't expunged?" line of 40k alternative history.
On top of the legion project I'll probably finish the Alpha Legion, although the Predator tanks are now going to be used for The Pyre.
The other project is going to be getting a hold of a 3d printer so I can create my own minis, in particular I want to design the Primarch of the II Legion, Ashurdan. I have a rough idea of what I want him to look like and what he'll be armed with but I'll need to take some time to learn how to design the model as I want it to be quite intricate.
Other things I want to do this year is to start getting into shape but that is on hold until I move house.
However, tomorrow I have to go and take my car to the garage to get the brake discs changed.

World Building Proposal: Let me know if this vibes with what you and your friends have got so far:
Archmagos Von Kuronos has set aside sections of Ineptus Anser's surface for "Development by Off-World Benefactors." These areas are FAR from his home in the capital hive city. They were also formerly the domains of some annoying challengers to the Archmagos authority. Now they are the homes to the following three groups:
A tau expeditionary group led by a water caste spy-mistress and her ethereal wife. Their relationship is forbidden but they don't care. The ethereal never wanted to be a leader, she was just born into the job, so she lets her wife call the shots. This has resulted in a lot of support for water caste projects while everyone else gets secondary priority. The other castes are getting a bit disgruntled by this favoritism but are too paranoid to act, because of the spies. Life for humans within their territory is almost utopian, with conditional access to food, shelter and health-care. The Tau pay their dues to the Archmagos by importing food to his hive.
Ork Mek-boy clan called "Da Scrappa 'Eads" that are more interested in tinkering with "Tekmologee" than doing a waaaaugh. Scrappa'Eads own several reclamation facilities, a squig-power plant, and an "Aka-dumb-me fer Runts!" Because of mandatory enrollment in the academy, the vast majority of the orks are Mek-Boys and Bionorks. Runts that attempt to escape their education, as well as rebellious human slaves, will get arrested and imprisoned by The Git-Catchers, a grot and squig police department. Speaking of squigs, the orks were able to breed the beasts to be able to convert toxic waste into high quality fuel. Which is what they use to pay rent to Kuronos.
Chaos warband consisting of a Iron Warrior Warpsmith, an Alpha Legion Biomancer, a thrice-bound Daemonhost known as The Guardian and The Host, and a Word Bearers Preacher. The four (five) of them had come into possession of thousands of mysterious artifacts from raiding a space hulk. They needed some place in the middle of nowhere to sort, test, and store their loot, and so they chose Ineptus Anser. Archmagos Von Kuronos has been very accommodating to the war band, only demanding that he paid in artifact testing data in exchange for use of facilities.
So this is what I've got. I understand if it's too much and you won't use any of it. But hopefully you enjoyed reading it.
Yeah this is definitely something these morons would do all sorts of things can go down on this planet 💀💀💀 maybe not von kuronar because he's racist and the most dogmatic of the gang but the other two (who i literally NEVER post about rip all the lore just sits in my brain and never sees the light of day) would definitely just outvote him and then do some silly chaos and xenos stuff.

Alpha Legion are Space Marine versions of Cukoo birds. They see a human they like, if there's a resident Astartes they wait for them to leave, disguise themselves (lore seems to imply they can basically shape shift their armor or otherwise somehow take on other legions appearance), and happily insert themselves so they can get some love and attention until the Actual resident Space Marine returns. For maximum comedy potential they overestimate how long the resident has left for and the human comes home to the pointing Spiderman meme.
Yes I'll vibe with this
You looked at your marine confused as he was being oddly overly affectionate but you watch him walk into the room and then your world eater snarled as the one holding you snarled back and you looked between them. You were very confused as they looked exactly the same.
You let out a shriek and the one holding you drops you before bolting and your World Eater roars after him before rushing back and picking you up. He's very protective for the rest of the night.
