Make your own creamy and delicious almond milk at home with just a few simple ingredients. This vegan alternative to dairy milk is perfect for drinking, pouring over cereal, or using in your favorite recipes.
Ingredients: 1 cup almonds. 4 cups filtered water. 2-3 dates optional, for sweetness. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract optional.
Instructions: Almonds should be soaked in water for at least 8 hours or overnight. Clear the almonds of the water and wash them. Soak almonds in water, add filtered water, dates, and vanilla extract if using to a blender. For one to two minutes, blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Use a nut milk bag or cheesecloth to strain the mixture into a bowl. Squeeze out as much liquid as you can. Put the almond milk in a clean bottle or jar and put it in the fridge. Before you use, shake it well. Within 3 to 4 days, enjoy.

INGREDIENTS:
2 CUPS RAW ALMONDS
WATER
TURBINADO CANE SUGAR
CINNAMON
DIRECTIONS:
SOAK ALMONDS IN WATER FOR TWO DAYS. DRAIN IN STRAINER. YIELDS ABOUT 3 CUPS ALMONDS. PLACE IN YOUR NINJA BLENDER AND ADD 5 CUPS WATER. BLEND FOR ABOUT 2 MINUTES. DRAIN IN STRAINER INTO A BOWL. TAKE MEAL AND ADD BACK TO THE BLENDER AND ADD 5 MORE CUPS OF WATER. BLEND FOR 2 MORE MINUTES. DRAIN IN STRAINER INTO A BOWL. SAVE THE MEAL FOR FUTURE RECIPES, SUCH AS NICECREAM, BONZAI BOWLS OR OVERNIGHT OATS. POUR THE "MILK" BACK INTO THE NINJA AND ADD YOUR FAVORITE SWEETENERS. I USED 5 TABLESPOONS OF RAW TURBINADO CAN SUGAR AND CINNAMON TO TASTE. THIS YIELDED ABOUT 3 CONTAINERS OF MILK.

The best and easiest raw almond milk EVER. All you need: a nut milk bag — I got mine on Amazon for around $5 — and a blender (I got one from Kohl’s for about $30).
3 cups raw almonds 6 cups water 4 1/2 TBSP raw honey 2 TBSP 100% pure maple syrup 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon 1 1/2 tsp nutmeg 1 1/2 tsp Celtic sea salt 2 1/4 tsp vanilla bean extract A dash of cardamom (optional)
You start by soaking the almonds in water for 6 hours. Then throw them in the blender with 6 cups of water (you might have to do 2 cycles, depending on the size of your blender). Blend on high for about 3-4 minutes. Then simply pour everything in your nut milk bag and squeeze until your head explodes. Pour the milk into any pitcher, add all other ingredients, and keep refrigerated. This almond milk needs to be enjoyed within 4-5 days.
