I'm thinking about getting my ears re-pierced, so I'm doing some research on it and I found this really funny thing.

An article from a jewelry store (it's the first thing that pops up when I googled surgical steel alergy, which I am pretty sure I have) says, in the same sentence that nickel allergies (which are typically the cause of bad reactions to iron-based alloys) are very rare and then they say 10% of the population has some form of it. That's not very rare. That's 1 in 10 people. In medication side effects lists, 1 in 10 is considered common.

So, yeah, fucking stupid ass jewelry website trying to sell their stupid ass jewelry by misleading their readers/customers.

i got bit by some random bug when hiking the other day and it got Real Big Swollen yesterday. its fine now, just regular sized swollen and a lil itchy but could be because i finally have access to my benadryl and ive been using an ice pack on it every half hour

but i had a very active weekend... hiking with a trail that involved climbing up and down big ol rocks (dude there was a lot of families on the trails and ohhh to be a child again.... those 7 year olds were doing so much better than me LMAOOOO. kudos to the kiddo in the lightning mcqueen shoes he was doing so good. his mom said he refused to be picked up the entire hike, but on the way back she passed us while holding him like "hehehe he finally gave in")

i am like 90% sure ive done that exact same trail a decade ago.... from what i call my infamous accidentally deleted all camera photos incident.... but tahoe is so nice

we were gonna go kayaking later that day but suddenly there was thunderstorms LOL. the area we were staying in only got thunder and bits of rain, but the area we were gonna go to had 100% rain i guess. flash flood warning. some of us went on a longass walk to see the shore of the lake though. it was a very nice walk.... but the cabin we were staying in was up on a slope so hilariously the last 15 minutes of our walk felt harder than our morning hike of climbing a mountain for 3 hours (also i was wearing my crocs as opposed to my hiking boots... oh to be like the entire family from the morning hike who was wearing crocs LOL)

went biking the next morning (we collectively agreed kayaking is no longer on the books... too much energy) and that was fun too. need to get my bro to fix my bike for me... lol

Hhhhhh I'm still not done the stupid drawing but I am starting to break out into eczema all over me in places I've never fuckin has eczema before and my body is telling me it's because I need to lay down. Which makes literally less than zero sense to me but I'm gonna lay down for 15 minutes and see if it stops

Edit: my body hates me why does laying down make the eczema stop. Literally what the actual fuck. I need to be put in a fucking test tube and studied like a little rat or some shit atp
