This month’s Into the Night is very spacey, but also a bit darker (Eventually) than the typical episode. There is a lot of dark and space-ish ambient in this mix, so if you’re into that you should check it out! Please share.

(..) The definition of demand (I taught economics for a year 30 years ago) is the willingness and ability to pay a price for a specific good or service (a Tesla Model Y in this case). The problem that most people instinctively get is that even if the whole world wakes up tomorrow and decides the Tesla Model Y is the car for them (which solves the willingness clause of demand), it does nothing for the ability clause. You can will all day long, but if you don’t have the money (or credit), you can’t buy the car. As Alex Voigt said in a great article on Model 3 demand, “Demand is a mystery that can only be measured once supply is provided.” This article will go over a number of demand levers that Tesla can pull if it finds it needs to increase demand as it ramps up production.

lone star and chicago fire?
the first character I ever fell in love with:
for Lone Star it was TK, because I am extremely predictable.
Chicago Fire, it was either Casey because I followed Jesse to that show from House and already had an attachment to the actor, or Shay
a character that i used to love/like, but now do not:
LS: none, unless you count that woman Paul went out with
CF: Gabriela Dawson. Not that I don't like her, I just don't care about her anymore and have no interest for her showing up. Last time she was there, I didn't really see the point, I thought she'd bring closure, but she didn't.
a ship I used to love/like, but now do not:
LS: none
CF: Dawsey. I liked it while Dawson was there, but I've moved on and so should they.
my ultimate favorite character™:
LS: TK, I don't think it will last though, he has screentime and background advantage now but once we learn anything about the others...
CF: Casey. Not dying helps.
prettiest character:
LS: Grace
CF: Brett
my most hated character:
LS: Billy
CF: Voigt, in case anyone was wondering why I didn't watch any of the spin-offs
my OTP:
LS: Tarlos
CF: Mouch/Platt
my NOTP:
LS: Owelle. I just see them as a great friendship, but I have nothing against people shipping them otherwise. edit: i just remembered that some people ship TK with not Carlos and that’s a NOTP
CF: Shay/Severide. I can't believe this is even a ship that exists. Also, Sevasey, same reason as Owelle.
favorite episode:
LS: Texas Proud
CF: I've never rewatched any of the episodes, only seen them as they aired, so for some of them that was 8 years ago, so I can't really say. I loved the episode last season when they got locked down into the firehouse (again I'm predictable) and the one I don't remember when that had Brett, Kidd and Foster on a road trip but they encountered an accident.
saddest death:
LS: I'm already crying just thinking about it happening soon
CF: don't make me choose between Shay and Otis
favorite season/least favorite season:
LS: I'll answer that when there's more than one
CF: ok fine, I'll rewatch the show
character that everyone else in the fandom loves, but I hate:
Pretty sure everyone hates everyone I do like Alex, Billy, Voigt, that chief guy Severide knows well but I forgot the name of because CF has too many characters for me to remember everyone's names... Ok, maybe people who are Chicago PD fans might love Voigt? I don't think it's a common opinion though, they probably just tolerate him more than anything else
my 'you're piece of trash, but you're still a fave' fave:
LS: TK
CF: Severide. Though I don't think he fits that anymore. So maybe Herrmann or Gallo
my 'beautiful cinnamon roll who deserves better than this' fave
LS: Judd? Marjan?
CF: do you mean 'who will die next?' Shay died. Otis died. What, you want me to say Brett and then have her die?
my 'this ship is wrong, nasty, and makes me want to cleanse my soul, but I still love it' ship:
I can't think of any as long as Kidd is on truck and Severide on squad, and no one is anyone else's actual superior.
my 'they're kind of cute, and i lowkey ship them, but i'm not too invested' ship:
LS: Marjan/Mateo
CF: it was Brettsey but I became invested, oops. So I guess now it'd be Ritter/Gallo maybe
this took me forever, I'm sorry
#asks#officerrxyes#mutuals#jamie tag#911 lone star#chicago fire#i was thinking about rewatching the librarians but i'll do cf#probably will take me forever#might give up i tend to give up rewatches these days#the only reason i finished my 911 rewatch is cause i'm writing a fic that follows the events of the show

A look at the Danish line of succession
By Heaven LeeMiller
21st July 2019
This summer, we are taking a look at the various lines of successions in the world’s monarchies. Today, we are focusing on the eleven people in line to the Danish throne.
The current monarch is Queen Margrethe II. She ascended the throne on 14 January 1972 following the death of her father King Frederik IX.
She is the first female monarch of Denmark since Queen Margrethe I (1353-1412). She married Henri de Laborde de Monpezat in 1967. The couple had two children who are both in the line of succession to the throne.
Varde Kommune/CC/Flickr
The Danish line of succession is as follows:
1. Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark (b. 1968)
By Mogens Engelund – Own work, CC BY-SA 3.0, https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?curid=38905130
Crown Prince Frederik is the eldest child of Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik. He was born on 26 May 1968. He married Mary Donaldson (now Crown Princess Mary) on 14 May 2004.
Together they had four children, Prince Christian (b. 2005), Princess Isabella (b. 2007), Prince Vincent (b. 2011) and Princess Josephine (b. 2011).
2. Prince Christian, Count of Monpezat (b. 2005)
Prince Christian is the elder child of the Crown Prince Couple. He has three siblings. His godparents include Prince Joachim of Denmark, the Crown Prince Couple of Norway and Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden, as well as Crown Prince Pavlos of Greece and Denmark.
Franne Voigt
3. Princess Isabella, Countess of Monpezat (b. 2007)
Princess Isabella is the second child of Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary. She was born on 21 April 2007. Her godparents include Queen Mathilde and Princess Alexia of Greece and Denmark.
Photo: Crown Princess Mary
4. Prince Vincent, Count of Monpezat (b. 2011)
Prince Vincent was born on 8 January 2011, and he has a twin sister, Princess Joséphine. He was born 26 minutes before his sister, hence why he is above her in the line of succession. It is the first time that the new absolute primogeniture law was applied since the alteration of the Danish constitution in 2009.
Under the old law, Prince Vincent would have been above Princess Isabella in the line of succession even if he was born after her. King Felipe of Spain is one of his godparents.

5. Princess Joséphine, Countess of Monpezat (b. 2011)
Princess Joséphine was born on 8 January 2011, 26 minutes after her twin brother, Prince Vincent. Her godparents include Princess Marie of Denmark and Prince Carlo, Duke of Castro.
Photo: HRH Crown Princess Mary
6. Prince Joachim, Count of Monpezat (b. 1969)
Prince Joachim is the younger child of Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik. He was born on 7 June 1969. He first married Alexandra Manley (now Countess of Frederiksborg) on 18 November 1995.
They had two children together Prince Nikolai (b. 1999) and Prince Felix (b. 2002). They divorced on 8 April 2005. Prince Joachim then married Marie Cavallier (now Princess Marie) on 24 May 2008.
They have two children together Prince Henrik (b. 2010) and Princess Athena (b. 2012). Prince Joachim’s children are styled as Highnesses and not Royal Highnesses to reflect their positions in the line of succession. They will not receive an apanage either during their adult life.

7. Prince Nikolai, Count of Monpezat (b. 1999)
Prince Nikolai was born on 28 August 1999 and is the eldest grandchild of Queen Margrethe, as well as the eldest child of Prince Joachim and Countess Alexandra. His uncle, Crown Prince Frederik and the Earl of Wessex are his godfathers.
8. Prince Felix, Count of Monpezat (b. 2002)
Prince Felix was born on 22 July 2002 and is the second child of Prince Joachim. He is the only grandchild of the Queen, besides his younger sister, Princess Athena, who doesn’t have a royal godparent.
9. Prince Henrik, Count of Monpezat (b. 2010)
Prince Henrik is the first child of Prince Joachim and Princess Marie together. He was born on 4 May 2010 and was named after his grandfather, Prince Henrik. His aunt, Crown Princess Mary is one of his godmothers.
HRH Princess Marie
10. Princess Athena, Countess of Monpezat (b. 2012)
Princess Athena is the youngest child of Prince Joachim and Princess Marie and the youngest grandchild of the Queen. She was born on 24 January 2012 in Copenhagen.
Kongehuset
11. Princess Benedikte of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg and Denmark (b. 1944)
Princess Benedikte is the second child of King Frederik IX and Queen Ingrid. She was born on 29 April 1944. She married Prince Richard of (1934 – 2017) on 3 February 1968. They had three children together and four grandchildren.
The consent to their marriage was given on the condition that their children would permanently live in Denmark when they started going to school. Since the family stayed in Germany, Princess Benedikte’s children lost their rights to the throne and are not in the line of succession.

A Malfoy’s Potter Part 1
Hello everyone! Welcome! I really hope you enjoy my story and if not, that's okay too:) I am just glad if you decide to read it. It means that I might have a decent taste in book covers and titles;)
Anyway, without further ado, here are the characters (the one that I created + the important actual real characters) for this book. As of right now, this book will be separated into 7 parts, one for each of the movies (Both Deathly Hallows will count as one squashed together). At the beginning of each part, I will reintroduce the characters and post a fun fact about them... okay now I'm rambling so I'll let you go;) One more thing... there will be some differences between my story and the books/movies, just so you are prepared:) One of these differences will be that Luna Lovegood and Cho Chang are in the same year as Harry Potter;) And if you're wondering about specifics for hair and eye color, I will be using the hair and eye colors of the characters in the movies rather than the books just so there isn't any squabbling;)

Nike - New Girl from Caroline Koning on Vimeo.
Nike Tokyo
Japan is currently ranked 123 of the 151 countries on the gender equality index. It's still frowned upon to speak up in meetings (we're looking at you, Yoshiro Mori), to step into a sumo ring (multiple locations denied us to shoot there because women would be in the sacred ring), to come back to sports after you've had a baby ('you're a mom now') and the gender pay gap index is enormous. Whereas the only question should be to a newborn: Hey girl, what do you want to do? Here's to all girls. Moms. Sportswomen. Bosses. And anyone who wants to step into the sumo ring. To anyone willing to change their minds.
