And all of us who believe in liberation from what is our imperialism and in the full liberation of Palestine should do so with their whole hearts! Following Al Thawabet (principles!) and having this to guide your lens on all things liberatory for Palestine is paramount from the start! Long term commitment, long term work! Look to the martyrs and the resistance for all your lessons on Palestinian liberation - they gave their lives for their people and their land and it will not be in vain. But we need to learn. You’re accountable to them, to the prisoners, to the resistance axis, to those on the ground and to no one else. So we need to be steadfast and not give in to defeatism that only causes more death, more oppression.
Palestine WILL be free! The people keep fighting and we must support that resistance in any way we are asked to by those on the ground!
Lol it’s all ‘we should center the voices of the victims of Imperial core’ till people here realize that this has to be a sustained effort that would need the same energy from beginning to end, no matter how many days, months or years go by. Really crazy that just when so many Gazans are on the site trying to reach out to us, Palestine seems to be falling out of relevance because the coverage of protests in the imperial core has begun to die down

The second “ceasefire” became this big word being thrown around, like within the *month* following last October 7th, principled Palestinian liberationists were screaming for us all not to push for a ceasefire as if it were merely some magic word that would still the hands of our directly complicit western imperialist governments and corrupt intl courts.
And I watched people fucking ignore them. They still get ignored. Cus westerners don’t wanna hear that it isn’t as simple as saying a word over and over again.
People ignored principled Palestinians and their accomplices about implementing Al Thawabet into their lens for Palestinian liberation action. People ignored them when they tried to boost the resistance axis (including Iran, including Syria), the importance of Islam within their liberation, the important lessons of the martyrs, the required awareness of liberal Zionist normalization and infiltration within western Pali liberation movements and in big-name influencers/politicians/celebs/compradors and popular “anti-Zionist” NGOs; the fact that sharing non-stop footage of murdered bodies of families while simultaneously doing fuckin nothing for their liberation was a huge slap in the face to Palestinians on the ground enduring this genocide.
Nah, we westerners didn’t wanna hear it because we are cowards. As a whole, we are just cowards with zero principles. We are chauvinistic and arrogant. We routinely ignore the truth coming from those who know it and who aren’t pussy-footing around to say it out loud, consistently. We need to fucking reflect on that.
it's past time to collectively admit that putting political promise into the idea of a ceasefire was not just a waste but a mistake to place even a modicum of focus towards, let alone the extent to which it dictated most movements in the imperial core

Being anti-Zionist means firmly upholding Al-Thawabet, the fundamental principles of the Palestinian struggle, which include opposing all forms of colonialism and rejecting normalization. This stance outright rejects liberal and progressive "both sides" narratives about Palestine. The conflict is not about mutual blame; it’s a clear case of colonizer versus colonized. The colonized have every right to fight for their freedom by any means necessary, and all responsibility rests with the colonizer. It’s downright shameful to think of Israelis as victims while calling yourself a pro-Palestinian organization!

Al-Nakba, which we call “The Catastrophe” - commemorates on May 15 the forced exile, displacement, and ethnic cleansing of 750,000 Palestinians by zionist, terrorist gangs from the end of 1947 until the middle of 1949. In May of 1948, Israel was officially “established” as a state on land stolen from and cleansed of Palestinians. International law and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights speak to the right of refugees in general to return to their homes and lands, and UN General Assembly Resolution 194 speaks specifically to this right for Palestinian refugees, but Israel and its U.S. patron have denied between 5 and 6 million Palestinians (the original refugees plus their descendants, what is now considered the largest refugee population in the world) the Right to Return to 1948 Palestine. As we mark 72 years since Al-Nakba, and continue to experience The Catastrophe every day in occupied and colonized Palestine, we will resist the new Israeli government’s plans to annex huge areas of land in the West Bank and Jerusalem. We will fight to secure the release of thousands of Palestinian political prisoners who are in mortal danger because of COVID-19. And we will continue to demand the thawabet, the constants of the Palestine national movement - the right to resist, by any means necessary, Israeli colonization and occupation of all Palestinian and Arab lands; the right to self-determination for the Palestinian people; the right to an independent state, with Jerusalem as its capital, on the entire land of historical Palestine; and the sacred Right of Return for all Palestinian refugees and their descendants.

@walidalwawi | Al Thawabet
What Does “Al Thawabet” Mean?
Derived from the Arabic word ‘ثابِت’ Al Thawabet (ثَوابِت) means both ‘constant’ and ‘principles’. It signifies our firm and steady commitment to the honourable principles upon which the Palestinian Liberation Movement has long stood strong on. Where liberal western personalities attempt to hog the narrative and zionist propaganda machines work overtime to infiltrate the Liberation Movement with traitors and normalizers, we stand to refuse and reject all forms of treachery and uphold the principles upon which our Palestinian heroes (both of the past and present) have sacrificed their lives for.
What Are the Thawabet?
The principles we stand strong on are clear, concise and simple.
No to normalization.
Yes to armed resistance.
Refuse liberal western narratives and whatsoever it attempts to bring to the table.
Uplift Palestinian voices.
Support and echo Palestinian demands.
What is Our Mission?
To fulfil the vision of every Palestinian martyr, pick up where they left off and continue the plight towards a free Palestine. Liberation will be achieved only when the land is cleansed of every single settler alongside the traitors and the spies. We operate to undo the workings of the settler colony that’s built on lies and bolstered by pretentious sentiments of bravery and legitimacy.

do not understand those who say “free palestine” with anything less than their whole heart. see yourself out then, idk— people i considered friends (notable that the primary examples of what im about to say are also white liberal american) scoff at the prospect. like “yeah, right” or “like that’s ever gonna happen”
slack-jawed at this response. you have no fucking right to say that.
if you don’t believe a free palestine is possible then why are you even here? what do you think all this is for? is “free palestine” just a fun metaphorical catchphrase to you? what good is your attitude to literally anyone except zionists?
palestinians in gaza have never given up and will never give up. they don’t have that luxury; you have the privilege to forget and move on. if you’re going to throw in the towel and wash your hands of this because we “failed gaza… you only fail gaza when you give up. but saying that “we” failed is a slap in the face to all of us who remain steadfast. palestinians and their resistance will free palestine — get tf outta here with the saviorism when these white western saviors have decided for themselves that it’s already a lost cause.
that is not for you to decide.

Okay idk who still needs to hear this but you need to hear this: we need to follow Al Thawabet when fighting in any way for Palestine. Bottom line. The demands of Palestinian Natl Charter and the principles of their liberation derived from it (Thawabet, the ‘constants’) needs to be our lens.
Tired of seeing educational resources from the “US” being passed around about Palestine liberation and history and not seeing a damn thing about Al Thawabet or the Resistance Axis at all. That is a red flag. Be careful because liberalism and liberal Zionism tries very hard to camouflage as “pro-Palestinian” when it is not. We need to be able to identify normalization clearly.
Follow Al Thawabet. Read the Palestinian Natl Charter. Learn how to implement the Thawabet principles to your daily life. Learn about the Resistance Axis, each faction’s history and significance. Stop fearmongering about Muslim nations like Iran and Syria, who are part of this resistance that gives full solidarity to Palestine.
Stop following the likes of The Slow Factory, WokeScientist, westernized comprador influencers, celebs, politicians, Zio infiltrated NGOs like JVP - follow the Thawabet, the demands of the people on the ground, the resistance, the lessons of the martyrs. That’s who we answer to in Pal liberation and no one else!
#Palestinian liberation#accomplice to decolonial liberation#Al Thawabet#principles#steadfast#no to normalization#the NGOs and compradors and online influencers who shit all over Iran and Syria are well documented so I will not be engaging in arguments#not with you not with ANYone

People that think Jill Stein/Butch Ware are the ‘way to go’ are purposefully ignoring the fact that both of them take the stance of implementing US foreign policy to dictate how Palestinians will live on their own land; Jill Stein is for a two-state solution until a one-state solution can be had; Jill Stein condemns Hamas and calls their resistance action “vicious and brutal”; she talks like what the IOF does and what the AoR does are the same thing when they absolutely are not; they both legitimize the settler-state of “israel” and speak to its continual existence (“It’s not just for Palestinians. This is also for israel, because israel doesn’t have a future if this violence is allowed to continue”).
She’s NOT an “anti-Zionist” be fuckin for real - she is a liberal Zionist who will serve “US/Israel” interests like the rest of our “US” politicians. She is a normalizer who is absolutely NOT “pro-Palestinian” anything, let alone liberation. Read the demands of Al Thawabet, which are derived from the Palestinian Natl Charter, before you start thinkin she’s any better than Kamala, Trump, any “US” politician. These people are interchangeable masks for the same god damn genocidal system as always.
Jill Stein and Butch Ware: “We support a U.S. foreign policy that promotes the creation of one secular, democratic state for Palestinians and israelis on the land between the Mediterranean Sea and the River Jordan as the national home of both peoples, with Jerusalem as its capital.”

“What God Expects From Us” The Prophet’s Pulpit: Commentaries on the State of Islam Vol iii
#saw this on ig the other day#it made me cry#I’m not a Muslim#but this year it was Muslims and it was their principles their steadfastness and their unity as Muslims#regardless of variation of practice#that showed me what it means to be principled and fight for justice#and when I felt lost in my ‘settler void’ I believe I know why that is now#and I do not respect the dogmatic atheism of the west#I do not respect spiritual voids#this year after everything I’ve witnessed even as a settler in the imperialist core I’ve realized what real justice and real unity means#when I see the resistance axis and the devout Muslims and know their Al Thawabet#I know for certain now that everything I’ve been borne from here in the settler state of US is what is demonic#and all the Islamophobia is an intentional evil#and a few months ago I heard ‘a voice’ of a higher power for the very first time#and I never felt that before in my life#I had a thought then that I could never pray for someone without taking action#and I had no idea that this was a principle in Islam#people have said that a theologians natural conclusion is Islam#I’m not a Muslim but they have my respect for life

why do we “Americans” make everything about our individual identities, egos and status-gains and then project that onto everyone else?
Example, once I had boosted a few of the principles of Al Thawabet in a GC I had been in that was trying to organize for Palestine. I had wanted to boost the words of principled Palestinians in the face of what I identified (ultimately correctly, sadly) as normalization. I’m pretty socially awkward and usually I just see a fact and present a fact (with credit). I try very hard to look around before I do so and take that risk of judging whether the input is necessary. When normalizing behaviors and actions happened I was able to see them clearly *because* I try to follow Al Thawabet, and those principles are being taught at length to us and so there’s a lot of clarity there.
Anyway, a white settler, no different in status than me (well, except for our economic classes, but) who had been very bossy messaged me aside to harass me for touching on a sore subject (that being blatant normalization) - but the point is she attacked me specifically for “making it about myself” and “Palestinians don’t have to listen to your opinions” and “being too loud for a non-Palestinian”. Again, a fellow white settler says this to me for *checks notes* reminding the GC about Al Thawabet. (Then she called me a “dangerous person” which was my red flag queue to block her and get the hell out of that rancid GC). But —
Did she really think the principles of Al Thawabet which are derived from the Palestinian Charter was “my opinion”?
Did she really think that my bringing up Palestinian martyr Nizar Banat’s words on normalization was “making it about me”?
If we boost Palestinian principles directly from the mouths of Palestinians (who I’ve also witnessed be routinely ignored in favor of normalizer NGOs and settler allies and celebrities and big time influencers), is that “making it about ourselves”? Is that “taking up space as non-Palestinians”? (I have talked this out before and have seen what principled Palestinians and their accomplices speak to the past year on this and the answer is: no lmao)
But what stood out to me was something I’ve been familiar with my entire life, being a white settler from a settler family in a settler colonialist state: we seem to attach so fucking much of what we do, believe, and say to our own egos and gains and then cannot recognize when someone is motivated toward an action for unself-centered reasons, if that makes sense. We then think “well obviously this person is competing with me for clout”, “well obviously this person just wants attention on themselves,” “clearly this person is only trying to network”, “obviously they’re just trying to look good”. And I think we feel that way so often that when someone is actually being genuine, we project what are normally our motivations onto them.
I was accused of being egotistical, overstepping and speaking in bad faith in a liberation space for boosting the words of Palestinians on the ground directly, which I didn’t do for my own personal gain. That other settler failed to recognize principles outside of ego.
This post is aimed at other settlers cus I think we all need to consider this shit way more. Ask yourselves why you really want to aid in decolonial and Palestinian liberation. I really don’t think, after what I’ve learned so far this year, it’s “about us” at all.
#idk my brain never stops#I’m using myself as an example here cus i can explain it clearly but#I’ve seen comments sections full of settlers not knowing how to trust genuine motivation or even sacrifice all year long#there’s a reason white settlers don’t get behind principled Palestinians#the principled and educative accounts teaching lessons from the martyrs and those in the ground get minuscule followers and visibility#meanwhile normalizers and lib zios who perform like they’re in allyship get hundreds of thousands of followers and even make money off it#and we white settlers most often will stand there justifying it and defending it to the teeth#ask your fellow settler friends if they know the basics of Al Thawabet and watch the blank stare#it is a crime
