Countries in Asia by airforce sizes

The map showcased here shows the countries of Asia based on the range of total aircraft they possess within their militaries. Asia holds some of the world’s most powerful countries and militaries, thus many of the countries within this continent would have some of the world’s largest airforces. Out of the world’s top 10 largest airforces, 7 of them are within the Asian continent! Two of the top 10 being transcontinental nations (Russia and Turkey). Russia currently maintains the largest airforce in Asia, with a total of 4,255 aircraft within their military. If we were to exclude transcontinental countries then China would have the largest in Asia with 3,304. Current the United States has the world’s largest aircraft fleet, with a total of 13,209.

They wait, in the Messes, in the mechanic sheds, out on the feild, keep busy so the blur of waiting is less. One, sentry, calls a dark spot on the sky. The purr rising to a growl of engines as the speck, no specks, come closer, and form into the great winged shapes of their charges. One two, close in, drop their wheels and run in bumping to a stop on the ground, . Three by three, the waiters run forward to their own one. Yet more men stare, in their trios, up at the sky, waiting, watching, straining their eyes and ears, one or another turning to check another direction than the other planes have come from. No more shadows appear, no more growling in the air. They could the seconds, the minutes and wait it out, until 'overdue' becomes 'absent.'

Word comes in from the debreifing of the officers, those two went down, they won't be appearing on a van, bicycle or lorry, having scared everyone still Two planes, two men, are not to be found. Raise a toast to them in the Mess later.

Iceland coast guard does have a very small air component with a couple of helicopter and turboprop but it doesn't have its own coa so the coast guard  one will be used in the navy

Kosovo only have about 50 unmanned small aircraft so I decided to not use the defense forces coa who use them.

Luxembourg also doesn't have an air wing but has the armed forces coat of arms since it operate a couple of big transport plane

And (despite what some angry comments said in the last post) I'm aware of the existence of northern Cyprus I just decided to not include it
