Just saw a TikTok complaining about fanfics that didn't have "enough dialogue" because "reading more than three sentences" was hard.

I'm not against heavy dialogue-oriented fics; they are fun, but... that's a script. You want to read a fucking script, hope you know that. A writer isn't "bad" because they are... you know, writing. Just say it isn't your thing and move on, but categorize something as "bad" because you lack the ability to fucking read... ain't the author's problem; it seems like a "you" one.

small domino pet peeve (maybe not even that) but like. People tagging them hecata rather than giovanni-- they're not hecata! The giovanni name is extremely important to them as a character, for mostly bad reasons, and as they're a v20 character, the hecata doesn't exist in their canon at all so they wouldn't be called that there either.

The transition from Dom Winters to Domino Giovanni is a direct and cruel one and an important part of their meta ! And also to do with their plot of self-assertion as a trans nonbinary young adult in the mid-2000s, which as we know was a pretty fuckin anti-queer time to live in. Plus, as someone never remotely related to the Family giovanni, and dragged into the clan on some absolute vampire political bullshit, they've got an even more complex relationship with their giovanni clan status, as lbr the clan don't much like outsiders... they're lucky (or unlucky) they're the childe of the head of the boston giovanni or they probably would have 'accidentally' been destroyed some night at random...

I do get using hecata for sorting purposes but giovanni is what they actually are, above everything else.

Like one of the last things I need to do for Season of the Witch is use the seasonal weapons for kills and activities

and man I dislike them so much

Slow charging fusion bleh (I like ones around 500 the emerite is 950 nearly twice as slow jfc)

scout rifle is... a scout rifle (like... it's fine? Especially if you don't raid but I have a crafted Doom of Chelchis so why would I ever??)

rocket is mid compared to my usual rocket (can't roll any tracking, tho Explosive Light is good)

I'd use the sniper but it's stasis and I'd rather use the handcanon in my primary slot bc Brya's is a Scout and fusion is bad

that being said the handcanon feels mid as well (I know some people love Brya's and Kept Confidence but its just nowhere near best in slot for a 140 primary HC for me. It's Strand I guess!)

Haven't played enough with the LMG to have any strong feelings about it

I even have them leveled with Best In Slot perks so it's not like I'm using random dog shit rolls or anything. I just don't find their perk pools very exciting.

Also once again no bow in the season. I always like a season's weapons better if they have a bow and a sidearm, preferably in different slots because I'm a bow/sidearm truther. Also no SMG for the Witch (the Red War ones don't count for the seasonal stuff :C) or I'd use that.

Hate when good and fun seasons are pulled down by mid guns. Haunted was too. Actual Haunted weapons were mid except the rocket. But reprized Menagerie??? Sorry me and my 6k kills Mini Tool don't know any of the Haunted Weapons.
