TOXIC OLD LADY YURI IS AN UNDERREPRESENTED GENRE SO IM ADDING TO IT WITH THIS GRAHHH- I’m as subtle as a brick, as evidenced by the nails. COUGH.

For Clark, even though Clara isn’t fit and active or anything, I wanted him to be muscular! Why? Well, firstly, so that they had the same chest. Secondly, because Clara changes herself to match the “pretty female ideal” for her husband before letting herself go after her kids die, and I wanted Clark to do the same! The male ideal is commonly seen as the provider role but, Wilma is the businesswoman so, he just ends up being eye and arm candy instead.

Also the conventionally unattractive wife and hot husband trope is so underutilized compared to the reverse, cough-
