The Challenges of Trump's Comeback

With the curtains of change strongly sweeping across America, and in the midst of a powerful political awakening, the stage is set for a familiar face to make a grand re-entrance – will the second coming of Trump bring about a new wave of promises and policies?

This is one powerful question that has erected a huge question mark across the faces of every well-meaning American. No doubt, Trump is a force to reckon with. He has proven his mettle before and this is more like placing a golden crown on his political journey.

His sacred mantra "promises made, promises kept" has remained a done deal for him but now more than ever before, there is a rising concern given the challenging times America is set in. Even Trump in his blunt and characteristics manner of making speeches has not laid down any detailed blueprint or the route he would take to accomplish his promises.

Seasoned economists have expressed their worst fears over Trump's promise to sweep tax cuts, take down every tax on all security payments and influence corporation tax. This may seem good for some investors but what would become of the economy. With due consideration on his plans to cut down trade deficit through his proposed new tariffs of at least 10%, and the move to end inflation, will Trump stand the chance to make good his promises.

For some evasive reasons, Trump has been overwhelmed by his vision to ensure that all the agencies promoting gender transition programs part ways with such engagements. His eagle eyes are firmly set against federal LGBTQ+ non-discrimination policies, and Americans will not forget so soon how he banned trans people from the military in his controversial first term. The growing tension in Trump's decision to come up with more stringent attacks on these people is already mounting up and may not go down without a fight.

Regarding the dramatic climate change and the plans to wrestle down possible disaster in that area, Americans are in a time of their lives where they need to intensify efforts in regulating climate change but Trump has labeled every move in this direction "great scams of all time", and has embraced his idea of "drill, baby, drill”. Project 2025 has it that Trump would shut down the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, having pulled US out of the Paris climate accords. Trump's obsession with supporting oil drilling, pushing for the production of fossil fuel even down to Arctic wilderness and turning down Biden's engaging moves towards cleaner cars would definitely attract the wrath of Americans on his administration.

There would be grievances and reservations if Trump makes good his promise to release the so-called masterminds or those convicted of offences during the riot in Washington DC on 6 January 2021. Whether or not they were wrongfully convicted, releasing them effortlessly without considering the impact of the violence and deaths will justify the claims of those who are still accusing Trump of inciting the riot.

Americans are equally watching closely and it would be on record that Trump's second coming to the White House would mean that he has become he first president with criminal conviction. And he has sworn to sack Special Counsel Jack Smith for indicting him with alleged efforts to overturn the 2020 election.

With the growing concern over Trump's decision to deport undocumented migrants, America may come under legal and logistical challenges, which experts believe have the capacity to slow economic growth. Activists and some key leaders of industries are already coming up with strategies to counter these plans.

Top journalists are not neglected as part of the hurdles Trump must jump in his second missionary journey. He registered his presence during his first as a candidate for attack, trampled on the media, gave them brimstones for ice and has pledged hellfire already. CBS News are carefully placed on his chopping board, libel laws are on the front burner as he labeled the press "fake news".

Again, Trump has stated it in black and white that he would not sign into law a national abortion ban. According to him, states should feel free to decide their own laws on abortion. Yet there is no certainty on how he wants to go about this and chances are, this could weaken the Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act (Emtala).

To the Russian-Ukraine war, all eyes are stationed on Trump. The whole world is sitting on a time bomb which may carelessly explode if Trump does not carefully detonate it. He has declared that the war will come to an end within 24 hours and no strategy dropped in this regard. An age long English truism should say "easier said than done". Funnily enough, President Vladimir Putin is determined to kill a fly with a nuclear and may be a hard nut to crack. What about the Israel-Gaza war? Trump has taken sides already and it is visible to the blind and audible to the deaf.

In his characteristic manner, he has pledged the sun, moon and stars to end these wars and other rumours of wars but how does he want to achieve all this, following his plans to disentangle US from every foreign conflict? Again, how will Trump join forces with Benjamin Netanyahu to bring to an end Iran’s nuclear programme having told American ally to withdraw its operations? Truth is, it is either the world is too daft to comprehend Trump or he is not being fair enough with his strategies.

At this juncture, it will be human to think that Trump is surrounded by a myriad of oddities. It will equally sound intelligent to say that Trump's second missionary journey is generally unclear, confusing and hunted by attendant challenges which Trump has used rhetorics and composition to downplay. With the monster of mountains interfacing this visionary leader, American dream may become a long prayer waiting for its estranged amen; a realm most African countries have dwelt on for donkey years. (Apologies to the legendary African Writer, Chinua Achebe).

Funny story:

I remember there was a time I was volunteering abroad, and the local children (mostly) would call me negrita, after a brown-coloured candy bar. Most people would be so offended to take on this name and embrace it fully, but I was a happy, hippy negrita at the time… I was self-aware, so much so that I understood the word itself could potentially be offensive – but only if you allow it to be. 24-year old me had a deep understanding that life is shaped by your own perspective, and the power to define its meaning rests solely with you. WHATS WRONG?

Absolutely........ Nothing, nothing is the matter. For the first time in decades I have felt normal!!!! Ok, OK, Ok, I have to admit, with some help of a quarter of a 100 MG eatable. I feel great!!

Today I was not feeling my best. I had been on a CARNIVORE DIET for about a week now.

But!!! I just ended it today. I just dontbhtink that it is for me. I had notice that my poop was very tiny and I looked extra bulky. My breath started stink. And when I sweat, from like walking for a long distance. I smelled like deli meat. "JUST TOO FUCKING GROSE." If I were around the gays, I'm sure some one would have been very turned on.

I say this because when I would take off my clothes at the end of the night to take my nightly shower. I smelled so much like a masculine man. And yes I was turned on my own smell. But! walking around the city and doing my job. I hated how my inwardly smell, smelled. If that makes any sense. Like as if I could smell inside out of myself.

Any who that was not what I went on that diet for. I tried the diet just to see if there were any differences in my social behavior and physical feeling when working out. And yes! There was! I did not feel hungry for most of the day. I did have more energy. However, I have noticed that I have been being more aggressive to people. In stature, conversation and in social cues. Almost as if I'm initiating aggression. I think that eating a high protein diet, did dramatically increased my testosterone levels.

After all, this is how the early man did eat. Wit all that being said I stopped today because I listened to my body and it was craving greens and I just had to listen. I notice that my stomach has gone down and I'm farting a lot more, I'm sorry, I know too much info. However, all of this is a good thing. I think.

Albiet, I have been focused on what It is that I feel that I have been lacking. But! tonight! I feel like I have found a new sight. A new way of looking at the world. And yes! There's some non conventional thing thats helping me view the world in this capacity.

For the last seven years, I have had some what of a sense of normalcy. But I work too much to feel it. But before my current "securing" career, I had been struggling like a ugly bitch tryin to look in the mirror without breaking it. Almost impossible, right? But now a days, they have the confidence of a rhino in a tutu, how? I have no Idea.

Just as crazy as my analogy is, is how I managed to pull some things together. For the longest time, I had struggled with the wave. The wave of couch surfing. Surfing in friends and families houses. Until I Finally listened to what people had to say to me. My Egun!

When I was surfing, I did not have structure. I had no real sleeping schedule. I had no real security in my life. I had to eat until I felt full. I was rocking 3 different pairs of shoes. And these shoes were three different styles. One pair was an everyday wear that no matter what style I Rocked I pulled together. The 2nd pair was an athletic look. A pair I could do some running with but also, had a sporty feel to it. And last but not least was the 3rd pair, which was more of a shoe than a sneaker.

Today, I had pulled together a look that was so simple yet so cute. I wished I had pulled a picture together and snapped a photo of it.

For me this is all important because I used to be some form of a sex worker. I noticed that most young gays tend to lean in to that life for a little bit because it's a sure way to get your basic needs met! For me, I Had no clue what to do. But I knew that that was one way of getting hat I needed. I did not intend to do it. I literally just happen to do it. I fell in to it.

SO! Me wearing these clothes, help me see, my self progress. When I see these clothes here. I don't see a struggling hungry person. Who’s willing to do some things just so he's not cold or hungry. The world is not nice to young men. It's definitely a dog eat dog world out here. I now wear a 36 waist instead of a 32. I wear a large to an Xtra Large shirt.

I have never been so proud of myself. For those of you who don't understand men sizes. I use to be a size 12 in women jeans and I dropped down to a size 2 going into a zero. Thats how skinny I used to be. People often confused me for a bald headed tranny. Tall skinny and fem. With some meaty parts but mostly bones.

Tonight I felt like a main character. Which fo rme is such a big deal. bevause I had been living my lid=fe like a side character. I should et an award for best supporting role. bevause honey. When I tell you!!!! The way I have been there for so many any bitches.

I have not been this so unbothered since High school. I have money. A bed to rest my head in. Work thats a different kind of danger. And I am well fed. I nothing to bitch or complain about. If I were to take pictures and show you how many clothes I have. How many shoes, bags and regular accessories. You'd think you were in some form of Boutique.

I just wanted to share some things with all of you and get all of this off my chest. It had been so long for me to say, I feel safe now!

I also think that one of the reasons as to why I feel so good is because I am being crowned YEMAYA.

🎀 new makeup styles - been loving smoky eyes and black waterlines, overlining with a muted brown, lash clusters, rhinestones, and more sultry details.

🍨 interior lingerie - the goal is to have a boudoir that is just a sexy and alluring as my lingerie closet! sweet n sexy kitten! ❤︎︎

🎀 currently healing my gut - psyllium husk supplements, fiber, kombucha/prebiotic soda, chia seeds and an adequate amount of water have all become a part of my routine over the last month or so and i definitely feel different.

🎀 got a personal trainer to maintain my “skinny bbl” look - i’m a tall girl with long legs and that with a tiny waist and round butt is so my look. currently training for it and i’m pretty happy so far. at this rate, by the end of march i’ll be at my goals.

🍨 building my vitamin and supplement routine - collagen, probiotics + prebiotics, maca, berberine, + some hum essentials.

🎀 my love of teas - cannot live without tea. it’s my favorite form of caffeine. and herbal teas always help me feel as if i’ve boosted my health. my favorite teas right now are green tea, matcha, and double spice chai. also love black, spearmint, and raspberry teas.

🍨 weekly digital detox - one day a week i go out of my way to avoid my phone. i simply rely on other things for entertainment, radio for music and try to interact with those around me.

🎀 hair extension wardrobe - tape ins in natural black and honey blonde, vixen sew ins with 30” bundles (i’m a tall girl so long hair to me is at least 26”)

🍨 cycle syncing - i’ve changed the way i eat depending on where i am in my menstrual cycle. i find my gut responds to the things i eat better. even with the time of day, being intentional with the way i live my life is so important to me now.

🎀 new personalized diet - high protein and low artificial sugar is pretty much what i’ve been following. what i typically eat in a day is berries, rice, oranges, lots of water, almond and peanut butter, etc. my fav sources of protein are grilled chicken, sushi, steak, salmon and eggs. of course i still like sweets they’re for sure few and far between.

🎀 trust in my intuition - it’s taken a while but i’m finally learning to trust myself. if my body is telling me to do something i do it, i don’t try to force what isn’t there, and i respect my mind by honoring the discerning abilities i was blessed with.

🍨 gratitude and thought reframing - so many things in my life changed for the better when i learned to flip my thoughts. in a glass half full fashion. it’s literally the law of assumption. i’m forever grateful for everyone and everything i have. and miss universe has only blessed me with more because i’m now so much more receptive.

🎀 no bull shit + not easily impressed - i literally have the shortest tolerance. i expect a certain standard of behavior from those that wish to be in my presence and this is because i give a certain level of care, consideration, authenticity and respect.

🍨 manifestation journal - my literal best friend. everything i write in my LOA journal comes true. i’m not exaggerating. i read it in the morning and tend to write in it before bed. i keep it right next to my bed along with some stickers and gel pens.

🎀 semipermanent beauty treatments - making appointments for lash lifts and brow microblading as we speak. also super interested in finding a great medspa in my area.

🍨 youtube #vloggingbabe🎀 - i finally made my long awaited comeback and i’ll actually be recording some of the things in this post on video. i love recording and editing. it feels like the best form of self expression to me right now! subscribe!

🎀 glam squad (esthetics, hair, nails) - i’m so anal about things being seamless and easy to remember. i like to go the same place for particular services and i’m determined to find a reliable hairstylist and esthetician that i can stay loyal to (i already have a bomb ass nail tech)
