another mechamorph Hc:
Galvanic Mechamorph genders are self assigned. They don't really have "afab" or "amab", they pick it when they feel like it if they feel like it at all.
The core of their concept of gender was adopted from the Galvan, but when they started interacting with other aliens they started adopting other gender identities as well.
many mechamorphs sometimes just pick some pronouns for the language their communicating in to make it easier for the species their talking to, to communicate with and about them, but don't actually subscribe to or identify as the gender typically associate with those given pronouns.
Identifying as genderless, or some form of genderfluid are the most common choices. and many mechamorphs are fine being identified based on their voice or body shape cause they just do not care.
that being said there ARE some mechamorphs who DO insist on having a preferred singular gender, and much like humans, will fight to defend who they are in that right.

KING OF MY HEART, BODY AND SOUL | LYNEY
notes 2k words, does contain arlecchino quest spoilers but it’s nothing too big, mom and dad are fighting (i could be talking about any of them)
previous chapter | masterlist | next chapter

Rosalie eyes the flower warily. “What am I supposed to do with that? My hands are—” The terrifying stranger pitches the flower to her lap, a clear rebuttal, “—tied… Okay.”
She wishes she could kick it off, yet her legs were also tied. Defeated, she accepts the offering but doesn’t say a word about it. Gratitude is far from what Rosalie is feeling at the moment. Ingratitude, fear, confusion. Those describe it better.
For better or for worse, Rosalie scrambles to take hold of the conversation, if only to show these people that she wouldn’t show her ingratitude, fear, and confusion. The flower jostles with her rough movements. “You’re—Fatui, aren’t you? I believe all of you owe me more than just a talk. What do you want with my child?”
“Hey, lady,” the woman with the purple hood once again growls, “don’t talk to The Knave like that!”
The Knave. That sounds so familiar. Rosalie thinks deeply, wondering where she had heard it from in passing.
“It’s alright. She’s distressed,” The Knave addresses her subordinates, but she’s looking right at Rosalie. “You may refer to me as The Knave. Arlecchino, fourth of the eleven Fatui Harbingers.”
Harbingers. Out of the eleven, she managed to rope herself into the fourth one. Rosalie turns just a little bit pale. A Harbinger had been inside her shop without her knowing. If you had come home earlier, what would The Knave have done? Rosalie doesn’t know if this situation is any better, either.
“And, just so you know, before she was yours, she was my child first,” The Knave muses.
Oh. Right. Previous Fatuus and The Knave is a Harbinger—that makes sense.
“But—she’s not even involved with any of you anymore, right?” Rosalie asks weakly, her stomach taut with apprehension. “Why are you doing this? Where is she right now?”
The Knave appraises Rosalie for a good minute, as if her sorry state would make the choice for her. “I gave Y/N plenty of freedom. If I didn’t, you never would’ve even met her.”
Rosalie bristles. “What, I have to be grateful?”
The Knave huffs out a small laugh. “That would be narcissistic of me. Of course not. But you shouldn’t be hostile. If I meant to harm Y/N, I would’ve done so already.”
“Did you let her go on purpose?” Rosalie asks. She’s getting agitated by the power this woman is clearly showing off.
“I suppose you could say that,” The Knave wonders. “But I just had no worries. I’m more familiar with her than you think. I knew that she wouldn’t have gone too far. I knew this would happen eventually.”
Rosalie is confused. What is this? Was this one of those monologues that the bad guys jump into to reveal their master plan—like, in the musical plays?
“Of course, no one could have foreseen the Traveler's appearance.” The Knave taps a clawed finger on her chin thoughtfully. “That also made it much more complicated than it was supposed to be.”
Traveler. Where has Rosalie heard that before? “The Traveler… The Outlander? Aether?”
“Correct. Aether, as some of you prefer to address him. Had it not been for his interference, perhaps this wouldn't have turned out differently—he is an unexpected factor. Though, you, Miss Rosalie, you’re also one.”
Rosalie is still very much confused. But she sits still, obedient, wondering where this might go. The villains would reveal some flaw in their master plan somewhere.
“Or perhaps I would’ve left all of you alone had it not been for Lyney’s disobedience.” Wait, Lyney? “I will not have any distractions to the children occupied with their missions. He has already failed.”
“Y/N has been by my side almost every day. How would she have managed to sabotage a Fatui operation?” Rosalie asks.
“Showing up to Lyney’s show was enough of a distraction. I must admit, even I didn’t expect her to appear that soon. It must be The Traveler.”
“Wait, it was truly Mr. Lyney?!” Rosalie wasn’t even aware that Aether had been more than he let on, much less Mr. Lyney being Fatui.
Oh. Oh! Rosalie remembers now. The day she first saw Aether and Paimon was the day they went to watch Mr. Lyney’s magic show. Since then, you have begun acting strange, and Aether started to linger more often, but Rosalie hasn’t given it much thought. She simply chalked it up to you making friends—definitely not messing up a Fatui operation.
“Are you following, Miss Rosalie? Lyney has failed, and Y/N has disrupted our mission. You see, children in the House who go against our rules receive punishment.”
Rosalie doesn’t like where this is going. She knows the answer already: “What is the punishment?”
“Their lives.”
Rosalie winces. Fatui don’t play around.
“But Y/N isn’t part of the House anymore…?”
“Her memories are no different than one of a child currently in the House.”
At her stunned silence, The Knave seems to take pity. “I have a child that’s concocted a potion to make them kill a part of themselves that was involved with the Fatui.”
Kill a part of themselves?
Rosalie’s brain lags for a second. “Are—are you saying no one’s dyi—”
“If Y/N has no secrets to spill, then there is no reason to punish her. She can enjoy a life that never involves the Fatui in the first place. However, you became a factor. It would’ve been difficult for me to make her forget everything when you were there. If I make her forget her life in the House, she will forget you too, as everything that led up to meeting you involved the House. And that would make things a lot more complicated than necessary on your part.”
Is… she saying that she considered Rosalie’s feelings?
“Now, I am here to allow you to decide. You could also choose to forget her.” The Knave perches a hand on her hip. “You’re her mother now, are you not?”
“Why didn’t you ask Y/N first?”
“Would her answer dictate your decision?”
“Of course.”
“Even if she chose to forget you?”
Rosalie’s mouth parts for an answer. She wishes it was quicker than The Knave’s question that Rosalie feared more than anything, but instead, she finds herself uncertain. “…If that’s what she desires. I have no right to tie her by my side.”
“Hm. Quite an answer.” The Knave looks at Rosalie with what feels like a smile. It certainly doesn’t appear as one—neither side of her lips quirked, but her eyes felt lighter. “But do not worry. It’s why you’re here. Y/N would be asked, eventually.”
Ah. So Rosalie is just bait.
She wants to feel angry at the woman in front of her, but to her horror, she is instead understanding her. Like she could read what The Knave has been concealing behind each word—what the diplomat truly wants to say.
Rosalie hesitates, looking up at The Knave through her lashes. Her crimson eyes are terrifying, and having been tied up to a chair while the fourth of the Fatui Harbingers is standing is just as unsettling—Rosalie hasn’t relaxed an inch throughout the entire conversation.
“You still think of her as your child, don’t you?” Rosalie asks Arlecchino.
Arlecchino, fourth of the Harbingers, director and ‘Father’ of the House, turns away. “Attachments to traitors are only a hindrance in the House.”
It is not a clear answer, but doesn’t that make it clearer?
Rosalie takes a deep breath. She takes one long look at the flower on her lap, thinking back to when you first held one from her shop, froze it, looked at her with the roundest, fearful eyes, and knew that her answer was clear, too.
Thunder roared as the sun dipped behind the rolling hills of Fontaine. It struck badly and poured even worse. Each second passing without Rosalie in your sight, without knowing what could’ve happened to her, itched your rage and despair more and more. The more you worry, the more your temper rises.
You were arguing with Aether as to whether or not you should get the freaking Iudex involved—you vehemently refused, while Aether asserted that it was for Rosalie’s safety as well—when you spotted two familiar figures from afar.
Lynette is leading Lyney inside the shop, side by side. Your ire grows exponentially at the sight of them, hackles rising in a snap. How dare they. How dare they have the nerve to even think about showing their faces to you? How dare Lyney march back into your second life like he didn’t just ruin your first one, but now this, too.
Lyney’s eyes are wide with worry as they reach the door. “Y/N, what happened—”
“Of course you knew where I live,” you say, brimming with contempt. “Did you tell that to your ‘Father’, too? Or was she the one who told you?”
“I was the one who knew, Y/N,” Lynette admits, her voice infuriatingly calm. “Lyney knew you wouldn’t want him knowing where you lived, so I volunteered to get intel and give you his gift. We came here because we thought ‘Father’ did something, and, well…”
The atmosphere drops. Everyone feels it—everyone but you, the catalyst. They flinch at the assault of the biting chill, of your fury in the form of a glacier.
“What… happened?” Lynette asks cautiously, quietly. You’ve never seen her terrified of you; it’s so wrong, but what they’re doing to you isn’t right either. So, really, who’s the bad guy here?
“Rosalie’s been kidnapped,” you say, clipped.
“Your guardian,” Lynette says, surprised. “The woman who runs the shop, right?”
“My mother. Don’t act like you didn’t expect this to happen.”
“We’re pawns in this, too,” Lyney says, finally finding his voice, it seems. “Please, I know it doesn’t seem that way right now. Let us prove it to you if you let us help—”
You scoffed, bitter and cold. You bit back the bite of ice and wondered how ironic it was that every time your Vision acted out, it was, more often than not, tied to Lyney.
“What, so you expect me to believe you’d just go against your ‘Father’ like that?”
“I would,” Lyney says without missing a beat.
How maddening. Aether, Lynette, and Paimon were shivering, wide-eyed and unsure, yet Lyney stood unfazed. No, he burns. His eyes, his gaze, they smolder your bleak anger. But that only serves to irritate you even more.
“Lyney,” you warn.
“I would, Y/N,” Lyney cuts, eyes narrowed fiercely. “I would for you.”
“You don’t know what you’re talking about, Lyney.”
“I do. And you know I do!”
“Give me a good reason to believe that.”
“Because I lo—” Lyney grits his teeth, and finally, some real emotion—no more tricks, no more lies; his frustration satisfies you—at least until he says, “I like you, okay? You know this.”
Maybe deep down, you really did know. You felt it. Maybe you even feel the same. But your brain’s fogged over, and all you can think about is how Lyney keeps taking everything from you—‘Father’, your pride, your spotlight, and now Rosalie.
Aether reaches out. “Y/N—”
“Shut up. None of this would’ve happened if I never met you,” you snap, turning away at the sight of his eyes flashing with hurt.
You turn and stomp off, refusing to acknowledge their protests and Lyney’s weak pleading. The door slams shut and rattles, with ice spreading from where you’ve touched it. “Find your sister yourself. Stupid brothers, getting me involved… This is why I’m an only child…”
And so you’re back to square one. Alone. So be it. Maybe this is truly where you belong, anyway. You don’t need them, and you definitely don’t need Lyney and his blind love.
This is how it would come to be, eventually. You, leaving; or them, leaving you. You long expected it. Or maybe it is because you forced it—you wanted it like you’d feel in control if things went exactly as you expected.
So why does leaving them feel nothing like control?

Monsters
cw: angst, nanu not liking Ultra Beasts, comfort
pairing: Nanu/Reader
The Kahuna of Ula'Ula Island felt like he was a lot of things in life. His duties as one chosen by a Tapu were unavoidable, especially while living on its island. He would prefer not to invoke the wrath of the guardian deity, already having seen what damage it could do when its sacred land was built upon without its permission. Nanu took some responsibility for that. He had not done more to stop them, but those land developers seemed more than eager to go with or without getting the Tapu's approval, much less his own. It was inevitable that nature's wrath would come onto them.
His duties as a cop were some he could ignore more often. He would admit to looking the other way quite often toward whatever idiotic things Team Skull got into. A bunch of delinquents really were not a main concern for him. Besides, he knew they were a bit scared of the Tapu, so they typically tried to stay on his good side. That boss of theirs was not so dumb as to piss off a cop and Kahuna. Tapu Bulu already seemed to the curse the place they chose to reside in with constant rain. Acerola also liked to send random people his way to get help. He would only complain to himself in private.
His duties as self-assigned guardian of Acerola were taken decently seriously. The girl had lost her entire family… He knew someone needed to look out for her, and there were few willing to take up such a task. Except for him. It was some unknown reason that drew him in and made him watch over the girl. She trusted him easily and often relied on him as much as anyone would their own parent. Her choice of word to call him showed how close that bond really was. So frequently she would simply show up and pester him, while he simply let it happen. Nanu was quite weak about the girl. If he could have nothing good in this life, he wanted her to have all that he could not.
He had taken his duties as an International Police officer seriously up until he saw that beast for what it was. Those days felt contrasted horribly to the peaceful existence he subsided in on Alola. Endless efforts to thwart organisations and their various maddening plans. Rocket was one he quite always had his sights on. It stung a bit to hear an eleven-year-old did what he failed to do. The ambition of youth, he felt. Meeting that kid, grown up now, on Alola had been an experience. Grimsley had insisted he visit the Battle Tree and luck would have it that one of the proprietors of the battle facility had been that boy. It almost made him feel more decrepit than he already did.
He had left his previous job due to his guilt and disillusionment, after all.
It had been unforgivable.
Ultra Beasts were simply something that would never sit right with him.
The Aether Foundation's research left him worried more often than not, and he swore himself to preventing any further harm caused by Ultra Wormholes or the creatures that came from him. The Tapu seemed to feel his spirit with that. He simply could never accept them after seeing the horrible things they were capable of and all the pain they caused. Sure, pokemon could be dangerous, but these creatures were inherently agitated by bring displaced and capable of unknown things.
This was all to say… He felt shocked when you were seen petting one. Sure, it was small and seemingly non-threatening, but he was instantly on edge with the Beast Ball clearly on the ground beside you. Why…? The creature was clearly close to you, but he kept thinking of worst-case scenarios. What if it… attacked you? It had liquid on its head— Easily it could shoot that out at you to unknown effects. He tensed up. Losing you felt like a sick nightmare. Failing to protect someone he was so unfortunately close to would actually kill him.
You seemed to notice him soon after and motion him over. He approached you carefully, having his Persian out as a backup for if anything went awry. You introduced him to the creature, calling it Poipole and saying you got it from those two weirdos that the Aether Foundation kept around. He nodded his head. With each passing moment he felt his nervousness pique and suffocate him slowly. Why did you get so involved with that entire situation? The thought of you going into Ultra Wormholes was a maddening thought. He had been utterly wrecked by the news from Hapu.
Looker and Anabel had found him when they came to visit, shocked to see him in such a state. Both instantly understood when he explained what had happened. Though, your return has comforted him as he waited at the altar. You were shocked when he approached you caught you in an embrace, almost shaking. It seemed you understood that he was mortified in that moment. Such a blatant vulnerability exposed by him was no common sight. He refused to let you go for so long afterward. It had almost been suffocating.
This development had only made him paranoid.
How often were you venturing into Ultra Space...? The thought of you getting lost out there was horrifying. Now you had an Ultra Beast in your roster. He bit his tongue. It felt impossible to express his thoughts. You could not understand the horrors he saw. His failures haunting his mind at every opportunity. A hand came to rest over your own, making you glance at him. You put it away into its ball as he felt himself become a bit more relieved.
“… Nanu?” your voice cut through the air like a blade.
“… They're dangerous,” is all he said, “I've seen the worst they can do.”
It suddenly hit you.
“They're not all like that,” you attempted to reassure him. His eyes grew more lidded as he turned out to stare at the ocean. There was no way you could convince him of anything like that. Leaning into his side, you wondered just what he saw. His lips were sealed on the topic – It was something far too painful to even recount. “Nanu…” You tried to stir his attention.
“I can't lose you,” he suddenly spoke, crimson eyes peering into you, “… Don't… do this, please.” His hand squeezed your own far too tightly. You felt your eyes unable to break from his gaze. Nanu was never this kind of desperate. Your heart hurt at the sight, but… Shaking your head, you refused his request. His eyes went wide.
“Nanu, if we learn more about them, we can mitigate issues—” You tried to explain. He simply stood up and left, rushing away in almost a trance. You stood behind, shocked by his sudden behaviour.
~
“Hello,” a voice called out to you. A day had passed since that incident, and you had not seen much of Nanu. Even hanging out the Po Town station proved to be fruitless. Turning towards the voice, you spied a man in a kimono approaching you. Grimsley. The man had been a sudden visitor that Nanu apparently had invited. Somehow, they were old friends. He sighed and looked exhausted himself – The dark circles that were prominent under his eyes had become even worse. “… You certainly know how to put a man through a ringer, don't you?” he chuckled, “I don't think I've ever seen that old man in such a state.”
You tensed up at the notification of Nanu's condition. He really seemed unable to handle the thought of you having Ultra Beasts around. You knew he had issues with them, but… Grimsley placed a hand on your shoulder. “Man, oh, man,” he had an oddly smug expression on his face, “Why is ol' Grimsley playing mediator for you two?” You actually shuddered at that thought. The Unovan clearly was not the best when it came to relationships. Really, you could not recall the number of people you had seen him with since he arrived. “Look, I'm not sure of the details myself, but Nanu has some issues with Ultra Beasts,” he cut in to your thoughts, “I'm not the type to dictate what others do and neither is he, but he's utterly terrified of losing you.” He placed a hand on his hip with an exasperated movement. You nodded.
Honestly, there had been times you worried he was only bearing you because he was too exhausted to say no, but this recent development had completely shelved that idea. Still, you felt bad for worrying him. Grimsley took notice of this and shook his head. “… I don't think it's on you,” he shrugged. Then, he disappeared with a promise that he would be sending Nanu your way.
~
“… Hey,” you looked up from the bench in Malie Garden to see the very man himself finally. He held a tea in his hand as he sat beside you. It was rare to say that he looked worse for wear, but he certainly did. “… I apologise. I shouldn't have acted like that,” Nanu suddenly spoke. You were caught completely off-guard by his apology. “I… I understand you don't know, so I must have seemed completely like an ass,” he continued, “… I just don't want to lose you.” The last part was spoken the gritted teeth. It made you chuckle a bit.
“… I'm not going to stop, you know,” you told him. He nodded. A sigh came from you. The Kahuna could not meet your eyes. “… Do… you think you could tell me about it?” He bit his lip. That was a no… Some things were just painful to say. “Nanu…” You placed a hand on his shoulder, “You know I'm strong enough to handle myself.” He nodded. The Tapus had challenged you themselves to see your strength. You would be fine, but he still felt terrified. Leaning in to him, you kissed his cheek. Instantly, he tensed up.
“… Fine…” He turned to you, “I trust you, okay?” His eyes gazed into your own. “… You make everything more painful, I swear…” the grumble made you laugh. It felt better already to be on good terms with him. Meeting his lips this time, you kissed him. It lasted for a moment until he broke it. “… Acerola asked me if I was getting divorced. She was in tears.”
You burst out into hysterics at that one.

Random nameless ghoul headcanons (SFW and NSFW)
I'm taking the piss with all of these. And remember, kids, this is fanfiction!
I mostly just wrote about the current ghouls but I'm more than happy to write about any past ghouls if you guys want!
TAGS/WARNINGS: mating cycles, CNC, weed mention, primal play, polyamory and orgies,
Tumblr media
SFW✄
All of the ghouls have a specific scent but Mountain for some reason can emit any particular scent so long as it's earth related. He usually smells like pine trees and grass but if any of the ghouls are anxious leading up to rituals or just worried in general he'll make himself smell like lavender because he knows how calming it is.
Mountain is also victim to clothing robbery because he smells so nice and is SO DAMN TALL.
They're some of the most open-minded and accepting people you'll ever meet.
Full moons tend to have a weird effect on the ghouls. Not as bad as say a werewolf but they definitely become a bit more... feral. The less extreme effects would just be heightened senses and craving gamey meats more while the worst of the worst would be bordering violent and definitely nsfw (see nsfw for more on this). They'd probably call it a hunter's moon (badum tss).
All of their eyes glow very faintly in the dark.
Their pupils are like a mix of feline and just regular ol' human.
They all have claws but Aurora and Sunshine are the only ones who actually have them out because everyone else needs short nails to play their instruments.
They all purr when they're happy or they're experiencing physical affection, though the volume and intensity varies depending on the ghoul.
Mountain sleeps like a log unless he's sharing a bed, then he's everyone's teddy bear and always has an arm around someone whether he agreed to it or not.
Rain absolutely HATES throwing up.
Swiss and Sodo convinced Mountain to grow marijuana by letting him try some. The ghoul den now constantly smells faintly of weed.
All of the ghouls have their own bedrooms but prefer to cuddle with each other and usually just make a nest out of blankets and pillows in the main common room area and turn it into one giant bed for everyone.
Cirrus and Aether tend to take on an almost parental role in the group just to keep the newer ghouls in line which can be draining at times but rewarding in the end.
They all have black tails and horns that are pretty much identical with the only difference being everyone has a slight tint to theirs depending on their element (Sodo's are red, Rain's are blue, Phantom and Aether's are purple etc).
Their fangs aren't actually too sharp. Could be because they've just become blunter over time with less need to bite actual people.
Most of them straight up act like cats depending on how new they are to the mortal plane. Since Omega’s been on earth the longest, he acts more closely to a human than Phantom, who is fresh out of hell.
Zephyr gets really bad chronic leg pains which is why he's always sitting while performing and so quick to sit back down after finishing the Mummy Dust solo.
Aurora has super painful cramps leading up to her heat so Sodo has taken it upon himself to use his hands as a heating pad for her (which he will do for anyone in need of a heat pack).
NSFW✄
If you had to make a spectrum of all the ghouls from most submissive to most dominant, it'd be Sunshine, Phantom, Rain, Cumulus, Swiss (ultimate power switch), Aurora, Ifrit, Sodo, Mountain, Zephyr, Cirrus, Aether, Alpha and finally Omega.
None of them are strictly doms or subs, they like experimenting and switching things up every once in a while to keep things interesting but they certainly have preferences.
They all enjoy both monogamous and polyamorous sex equally. Sometimes they just want soft intimate sex with one person or they're just craving multiple people.
Full moons don't make everyone horny in an "I need to impregnate someone/be impregnated now" way, they make the ghouls horny in a primal way...
Some of the ghouls that are more affected by the full moon or just enjoy primal play with a bit of CNC will sometimes ask some of the siblings of sin and/or you if you'd all be comfortable with letting them "hunt" you down.
Aether and Cirrus have sleepy and lazy sex when they're tired from dealing with the ghouls and need a break and some relief.
Mountain is always looking down the sisters of sin's and the ghoulette's tops to see their cleavage. In his defence he's pretty fucking tall and can't help that he has to look down to talk to people.
If anyone in the group, including you, are feeling lonely, stressed or just exhausted and in need of some kind of relief, all of the ghouls are more than willing to give head to anyone for hours, making sure they cum at least four times before they let them have a break.
All of them have a marking kink because of their need to mate during heats and ruts.
They all go just a teensy bit feral when they pick up on the scent of a virgin with Swiss being the most dramatic about it.
And if someone doesn't smell like a virgin but instead like ghoul, they still go feral because ghouls like sharing when the moon isn't full.
Aether feels the constant need to slap every ghoul and ghoulettes ass possible, even Sodo.
Aurora, Zephyr and Phantom the most handsy out of the ghouls.
Heats and ruts are already hellish enough, but what makes it worse for the ministry is how only half of the ghouls get their heats and ruts at the same time while the other get it the other half of the time, which basically means twice as many heats and ruts in a month.

Hey can you write a fic about being in a love triangle with Zoro and sanji(non poly) they fight over reader and they (preferably female reader but gender neutral is good too) are oblivious?
Plus I love your stories!
Tumblr media
hey aishabbbb! thanks for the compliment! i'm glad you enjoy my stories!
forethoughts: woah aether posts again on the same day?!?!? this is similar to the love triangle w nami and sanji, but switched out nami, Y/N has a different role this time.
notes: fem!reader, zoro and sanji being competitive, oblivious reader
Tumblr media
You were the new seamstress of the Straw Hat Pirates (A role Luffy thought would be cool, since you could always make clothes on the go and funny disguises)
You spent your days in your room separate from Nami and Robin, since your materials took more space. You made different clothes for different occasions. You spent your time mostly locked in your room, since you couldn’t really help physically with the Straw Hats, so you focused on your craft.
The only times you would come out was if Nami forced you to go on a shopping spree with her and Robin, and for meals.
Two people had a really big problem with your habit of staying indoors.
The swordsman who wanted you to go outside more in order to be more healthy, and the cook who wanted you to be nourished with food and enjoy the world.
Zoro and Sani always fight over everything. Literally, you can’t stop them at all from throwing hands at each other. But when it came to you, oh.
Oh
OH THEY WERE GONNA FIGHT.
Since the moment you joined on board, both men had their sights set on you. Sanji because you were a girl, and Zoro because you were an attractive and diligent worker. They implicitly made a bet with each other, seeing who would get you to spend more time outside your room.
Zoro would barge into your room whenever he felt like it, telling you to help him train in the gym. You just went along with the swordsman’s request. You didn’t know you would be sitting on his back as he did one handed push ups. You threw punches at Zoro while he was blindfolded, insisting ‘you couldn’t even hit me if you tried’.
You hit Zoro square in the nose.
Zoro smiles at your hit, reassuring that he was okay and told you that you should join him in the gym, whether to practice your swings on Zoro or just act as a weight.
Sanji hated seeing Zoro treat you, a girl so callously. A weight? The audacity.
Sanji would cook you the most gourmet meal for breakfast, lunch and dinner, giving Zoro the scraps of your meal.
Everytime Sanji sees you exit the gym, he’ll immediately walk towards you and offer to give you a small snack or dessert after Zoro’s ‘inhumane treatment’. You’ll usually turn down, but that’s when Sanij turns from a cook to a salesman. Sanji offers to teach you how to make the snacks and desserts, which you happily say yes to, because you loved learning new things.
To Sanji’s dismay, the treats Sanji taught you how to make found its way into Zoro’s mouth. Knowing how to bake, you gave little protein treats to Zoro to eat after he completed his workout.
Zoro always accepted your little snacks, eating it right in front of Sanji and explicitly stating it was from you, just to make the cook jealous.
Sanji wasn’t necessarily losing the bet though. You now spent a quarter of your day with Zoro, and now baking with Sanji. You could be found in the kitchen learning a new recipe with Sanji, cracking jokes and creating beautiful snacks and treats.
You were completely oblivious to the fact they were doing all of this just to get you out of your room because they loved you, so you relished in getting a good workout with Zoro, and having fun with Sanji.
You’d make oven mitts for Sanji, as you were heavily concerned how he took a steaming hot tray out of the oven so haphazardly. Now, he would always use the oven mitts you knitted for him.
You’d also make Zoro gloves, since his knuckles always gets red when he fights during harsh temperatures.
Now it’s a regular sight to see two fully grown man argue about oven mitts and gloves.
“Why are Zoro and Sanji arguing?” Nami asks Robin.
“They’re fighting over Y/N’s gifts she gave them.” Robin answered.
“Don’t they know Y/N gave all of us gifts and not just them?”’
“Do you think they will in the state they’re in?”

Catching Wrio Off-Guard…or Not? - Part 3
Surprise Visit - Part 0 of 3 Taking Down an Oni - Part 1 of 3 Teasing a Childe - Part 2 of 3 Catching Wrio Off-Guard…or Not? - Part 3 of 3 (This Post), Also on AO3
Summary: Will the remaining two lovers, Lyney and Heizou, catch Wriothesley off guard and tickle him to pieces or will they be the ones getting tickled?
A/N: Here’s the final part, numero tres! Hope you enjoy it!
Word Count: 1095
Wriothesley still sat in his chair sipping his tea as he listened to the sounds of ticklish laughter echo around Aether’s house.
“Heh, Aether knows my preference in tea. Two cubes of sugar, just how I like it.”
He downed the last drops of tea before getting up and setting down the cup on a nearby table and immediately flicking both his wrists behind him.
“Gah!” a voice shouted before he heard a thump to his left.
“No!” another voice sounded to his right and fell to the same fate as the first.
“Pleasure to see you both come on time,” Wrio towered over Heizou and Lyney with his arms crossed. “Hope you don’t mind the restraints. Couldn’t let you both get your hands on me.”
They glared at him and struggled against their cuffs. Heizou with Cryo cuffs and Lyney with regular ones.
“You think you are sly, do you?” Heizou bit back.
“Oh? A tough cookie you are, detective. Just like the magician,” Wrio smirked at Heizou’s surprised look. “I’ve heard lots from Aether’s stories and you are mistaken if you can take me down, even with Lyney here.”
“Tch,” Heizou tried to break from his bonds again.
“Those aren’t coming off unless you have Pyro or my help,” Wrio called out while walking over to Lyney. “Struggle all you want while I deal with your boyfriend over here.”
“Don’t you dare touch me or you will suffer,” Lyney threatened.
“Ooh, I’m scared,” Wrio deadpanned.
He went for Lyney’s ribs causing him to cackle.
“NOhoHohOHO! WriOHohO! YoUHU- AHAHAhahaAHA!”
“Sorry. What were you going to say?” Wrio teased.
“Lyney! I’ll save you!” Heizou wiggled his way towards Lyney only to be met with Lyney’s panicked expression.
“DohOHon’t COHOHOME! AHAHAHA! WrioHOHO wihihill- GAHAHAHA!” Lyney tried to warn him.
“You should’ve listened to him,” Wriothesley shook his head before grabbing him and bringing him and Lyney side by side and getting both their ribs.
“AhahaHAHA! HohOHow stroHOHOng ARehehe youHU?!” Heizou shrieked, hiding his face in the crook of Lyney’s neck.
“Hehehei! THAHAT tihHIckles!” Lyney laughed.
“Heh, I got you both in my clutches now,” Wrio smirked triumphantly and roamed his hands over their sides causing them both to shake with laughter in his grasp.
“Hmm, where’s my next targ- huh?” Wriothesley’s eyes widened when he felt water on his hands and rapidly looked for the source.
His eyes fell on Heizou and his cuffed wrists. Somehow, he managed to slip his wrists next to Lyney’s own and took advantage of his Pyro vision to try and melt away his cuffs.
“A smart one you are, huh detective?” Wrio praised. “But not as quick and smart as me,” he immediately lifted Heizou’s arms over his head and froze them to the floor where there was some water for reinforcement.
Heizou was left shocked and helpless as Wrio’s attention was focused on him.
“Nonono!” Heizou helplessly wiggled on the floor as Wrio cracked his knuckles and descended upon him.
“HAHAHAHA! WRIOTHEHEHESLEY! NOHOHOHO!”
“It was inevitable, detective. Accept your fate.”
“AHAHAHAHA! IHIHI’LL GEHEHET YOUHUHU BAHAHA- AHAHAHA! BAHAHAHCK!”
“I’m sure you will,” Wrio rolled his eyes, increasing the intensity. NAHAHAHA! “And you,” Wriothesley turned to Lyney who jumped. “Don’t think you can get away to call for help.” He pulled Lyney alongside Heizou but not too close. “Tickle tickle tickle~”
Wriothesley scribbled his fingers all over Lyney’s tummy making him double over and squeezing Heizou’s thighs causing him to try to curl inwards.
“WRIOHOHOHO! STAHAHAP THIHIHIS! NAHAHAHA! AHAHAHA!”
“NOHOHOT MYHYHY THIHIHIGHS! IHIHIT’S UNBEHEARAHABLEHE! AHAHAHA!”
Ignoring their pleas, Wriothesley kept it up watching their reactions with amusement as he wrecked Lyney with practiced precision and learned to do the same with Heizou. He heard footsteps coming over and knew that his time was almost up.
“I guess that’s my cue for the finale.”
“FINAHAHALEHE!?”
“WRIO! WRIOHOHO! PLEHEHEASE! NOHO! DON’T DO IT! DOHOHON’T DOHO IHIHIT! WRIOHOTHEHESLEHEY!”
“Oh you poor magician, knowing what is coming.”
“LYNEHEY, WHAHAT DOHOES HEHE MEHEAN!?”
“It means this detective, ‘You are done for.’”
Wriothesley clawed both their armpits and they dissolved into ticklish laughter.
“BWAHAHAHA! AHAHAHA! HAHAHA!” Heizou laughed hysterically as he arched his back and tugged at his restraints. “NOHOHOHO! HEHEHEAHAHA!”
“GAHAHAHA! NAHAHAHA! PLEHEHE- AHAHAHA!” Lyney didn’t fare any better as he shook his head. “WRIOHOHAHAHA!”
They both crumbled under Wriothesley’s touch as he clawed, dug, and scratched their pits making them howl with laughter.
“Okay, I think that’s enough for you two,” he finally said, stopping when the others came in. He dusted himself off as he got up. “Nice to see all of you coming in,” he said nonchalantly as if he hadn’t wrecked two people a moment before. “Just finished my work.”
Heizou and Lyney gasped for breath as Wriothesley freed them.
“Hah…hah, freedom,” they said in unison.
“They look spent,” Aether laughed, picking up Lyney, and Wanderer doing the same with Heizou.
“You both got your asses kicked, huh?” Venti chuckled.
Lyney nor Heizou could be bothered to come up with a comeback as they laid on their boyfriends’ backs.
“What happened to Childe?” Wrio asked, noticing he wasn’t with them.
“He fell asleep.”
“He got his ass handed to him.”
“We knocked him out.”
“Oh. I guess he couldn’t compete with you guys.” I better not mess with these three. A god, one who almost became a god, and the one who has the strength of a god.
Itto, Xiao, Gaming, and Kazuha came strolling in with all of them looking spent, while Ushi walked in with Man Chai resting on his back
“Whoo! That was the most fun I had in a long time, but man am I exhausted,” Itto boisterously laughed as he sat on the couch.
“Heh, you could say that again,” Gaming chuckled, collapsing next to Itto.
“You are quite the formidable opponent when it comes to tickling,” Xiao said.
“I second that,” Kazuha yawned.
Aether went to get some snacks and drinks for everyone as they all chatted and waited for Childe to wake up.
“Hey guys,” a familiar voice entered the room. “What did I miss?”
“The man of the hour himself is here.”
“What were you guys talking about?”
“How you got wrecked by Aether, Venti, and Scara.”
“H-Hey!”
---
Time passed by quickly and it was time for the trio to head home.
“Thanks for having us!” Itto and Childe grinned.
“No problem,” Aether smiled back.
“Come for tea whenever you are around in Fontaine,” Wrio waved.
“Will do,” Aether answered.
Everyone said their goodbyes with a promise of more tickle shenanigans in the future.
Thank you for reading! :) -Perz ~Risus Amoris~

genshin men, ranked by how much i'd want to date them
25. itto. i don't really like him, the only thing he's got going for him is some charisma and kuki shinobu. would only date him to get closer to her.
24. zhongli. i have no strong feelings towards him and he doesn't have any particular traits i'd be drawn to.
23. tighnari. i like him and he's cute, but again, nothing stands out to me.
22. baizhu. he's growing on me a little but i don't really like him too much.
21. ayato. he's fucking ugly and i hate him with every fibre of my being, but he has money.
20. alhaitham. he's too gay.
19. kaveh. only very slightly less gay.
18. gorou. cute and would be a good boyfriend, but he'd be super busy all the time.
17. venti. cute, fun, entertaining, very nice, but something about dating a god feels very bittersweet.
16. neuvillette. as pretty as he is, he's also far too busy, and also i think i'd always be second to furina. can't blame him for that but nonetheless.
15. wriothesley. i'm incredibly attracted to him but i don't want to live in an underwater prison.
14. diluc. handsome, rich, strong, but a bit too emotionally constipated for my enjoyment.
13. sethos. i like him a lot, but in terms of romance, he's not standing out to me.
12. aether. pretty much the same as sethos. i prefer traveler aether over abyss prince.
11. kinich. pretty, but ajaw would piss me off at some point.
10. heizou. he's very pretty and i do love a good detective, plus he'd charm me very easily.
9. xiao. pretty and strong but just a little too closed off for me.
8. cyno. i like him a lot. his jokes would, unfortunately, only make me like him more.
7. kaeya. charming and handsome but i don't think it'd be easy to get through his outward persona, and i'd have to really know him to want to date him.
6. childe. would treat me very well, but i'm not sure if the constant itch to fight would be enough to turn me away or not.
5. albedo. beautiful, smart, perfect. i wouldn't even mind if he didn't have much time for me.
4. kazuha. absolutely perfect. i want him badly.
3. scaramouche. he's my favourite but, as much as i want to kiss him, i must accept that realistically i'd also want to punch him.
2. lyney. what a man.
1. thoma. THE most husband material in the game. cooks, cleans, does all the chores, good with animals, you name it. can't get any better than that.

Out of the characters rank them from "best" yandere to worst yandere???👀👀👀👀 Only if you want of course 🩷
Rubs hands together. Alright, you asked for this.
(read more + this came from me and Eros's perspective, so its going to be filled with some answers and small tidbits of everyone. Be warned.)
BEST MATCHES
ZHONGLI: As he is a historian professor and has particular tastes for romantic matches, he's actually your safest pick in the list! He makes sure to know your dealbreakers, likes, dislikes, and even your preferences.
DAINSLEIF: Another "parent" figure/platonic choice for most people. The only difference, though, is that he sticks to one person and he doesn't really like being with someone romantically.
BAIZHU: He's a pharmacist and is the third of "he sees people platonically until he finds someone that he can be romantically with".
VENTI: Although he can be a bit questionable, he's still one of the (arguably) safer guys out there. Even if you two don't become an actual couple, he doesn't like hurting those he sees as 'uninvolved', so to speak. Although, it does depend if you'd be able to figure out his 'intent', or you'd dismiss it as one of his jokes.
KAEDEHARA KAZUHA: Kazuha normally should be on people's radars due to his past. After all, you'd never trust a man that is associated with one of the biggest 'scandals' that hurt Inazuma and how he lost his lineage. However, he isn't the worst as he can keep his ground and is mostly focused on exploring than hurting someone.
AETHER: Aether is... The same as Kazuha. Also, he doesn't really see his matches as anything romantically? He'd rather stick to it being a slow friends to potential lovers. (Eros says that he's like a guy who got lost upon getting to the corporation, and I can't help but agree. He's really nice, he's just... Yeah.)
FREMINET: He's the youngest of the triplets, but the danger he can possess is more of his charm. Still, I think whoever gets him has to keep him safe. As a diver, he works independently with the House of Hearth, but he also makes machinery! If you need someone to fix something for you, please contact him. He's the best mechanic you can find.
THOMA: Jack of all trades, master of none. He's just really nice, but protection is a bit... Well, it can be difficult, haha! If anything, I think the danger he has is more of his connections. He's working for the Kamisatos, and I hear that he has some ties to what goes down █████.
GOROU: He's... Uh, he's a veterinarian that trains dogs. Although, he's dangerous as a yandere if you end up getting on his bad side. After all, he had a bad past with Wriothesley and the others, so I can't exactly fault the guy. Just... Be safe.
WRIOTHESLEY: Just like Gorou, he can be very dangerous/bad if you get on his bad side. However, Wriothesley has the patience of the saint. He does accept one since he's a workaholic. (Eros told me he's married to his job, and I sometimes joke that we'll get an invitation for that).
DILUC RAGNIVINDR: Okay, I know this is absurd, but he's... Er, he has some history with Dawn Winery. We can't say too much, but he's not there, I guess. To be frank, he does give me the vibes of being obsessive... Which is weird.
KAEYA ALBERICH: ... Please don't ask us why.
SHIKANOIN HEIZOU: Detectives are pretty much master criminals in the making, honestly. I wouldn't trust a man as him if he suddenly tells you he wants to try something 'new' to catch criminals.
NEUVILLETTE: As the judge, you'd think he would be somewhat high up there, but... He's the same as Kaeya. Please don't ask.
KAMISATO AYATO: ... Sorry. We can't answer why he's here.
XIAO: Same as Ayato, Neuvillette, and Kaeya. (Sheesh, we got some that are TOTAL red flags...)
ALBEDO: He's a bit decent and has a good head on his shoulders, but I don't exactly trust him. Who knows when a chemist may make something that can potentially hurt someone? Well, I doubt he could, but... be careful.
LYNEY: A magician has his secrets, but we don't exactly know Lyney's. Although, knowing his track record, we have our reasons why he's here. Let's just say he's as two-faced as Kaeya, okay?
TIGHNARI: Oh, come on! A ranger who can specialize in forests is like... A disaster waiting to happen. He's also got a mean streak, so good luck.
CYNO: The same as Ayato.
ALHAITHAM: ... Actually, I don't know why he's here. We decided he won't be but... Maybe that incident is why he's here.
IL DOTTORE: Ayato. Please look at his answer there. And Albedo's. That's our conclusion.
"CHILDE": He reeks danger. Please, to whoever gets him run. We cannot tell you why, just run. Don't answer his phone, don't answer the door, just run and don't be a sitting duck.
WANDERER: Do you want to die? No, seriously. Do you? He's the worst of all these men. If you get him... We wish you luck. Because we don't want to be anywhere near him.

Random ask, who are your favorite romantic relationship's couples in any media, like anime/manga, tv series, books, etc (can be canon or non-canon)? Feel free if you want to write the reasons or not of why you love them....
Thank you so much for sending in an ask! I would love to answer this question! I didn't go through every fandom I've been in, though I went through quite a few!!! Usually, there is only one ship I really love in a fandom that ends up being my favorite, but I like/love plenty of ships and don't limit myself to just one ship. I will say that when it comes to engaging with fandom and fanfiction, I tend to actually prefer platonic relationships, centered on found family and blood-related family than anything else.
Bungou Stray Dogs -> Shin Soukoku (Akutagawa Ryuunosuke/Nakajima Atsushi). I think most of this comes from the way they are quite literally yin and yang (my favorite symbol of all time) in almost every aspect. I firmly believe Asagiri is beating us over the head with a mallet saying "Look! Look what I did! Please look!" I'm under no impression that they will be canon, but BEAST gives me the hope that they can at least become friends, and that's testament enough to the development they go through. There is just so much there. I'm not an enemies to lovers person, but for them, I make the exception. There are so many parallels to draw between them, so much to look at and really dig into. I'm not delusional enough to say they wouldn't be toxic (all of the BSD ships except for, like, RanPoe, are toxic let's be real), but I am lenient enough to say that they can be good to each other in fanfics and decent friends in canon. Also, this applies to their BEAST counterparts, too. BEAST makes them better.
Jujutsu Kaisen -> ItaFushi (Fushiguro Megumi/Itadori Yuuji). There is a sort of trend I have with shipping, I think. I tend to like the second most popular ship, usually the younger generation of the most popular ship, which is arguably a form of torture in and of itself. JJK is not as bad as the BSD fandom is about the popularity difference, but it's still painful. Anyway, I think my love for this ship stems from the fact that Megumi has a big fat crush on Itadori and I will accept, under no circumstances, any other interpretations of his relationship with Itadori. Everything from the SatoSugu parallels (who are one handhold away from being canon let's be real), to their whole shtick being to save each other (physically and mentally), to Megumi literally describing Itadori as his type of person. Gender neutral. Even though it is so incredibly easy to use gendered terms in Japanese as it is in English. I feel like Gege is doing this on purpose because there is just no way he sees this as normal friend stuff. Recent chapters got me in a chokehold. I am SCARED. Besides all this, I think they just work very well together. They are also horribly tragic. Perfect combination.
Genshin Impact -> Xiaother (Aether/Xiao). I debated pretty heavily with myself here on what my true favorite is. I came to this conclusion mainly for one reason: Xiao. I love Aether, but I love Xiao. He is my favorite character, right next to Razor, so obviously he carries this ship. I also think that, of all of the implied relationships Genshin has supplied in plenty, Xiaother has had the most development. Every scene with them is better than the last, and the way that they make each other better is something I adore. And as for the ship being specifically Aether and not Lumine or nonspecific, it's because I chose Aether, so I'm more accustomed to using him as the traveler vessel rather than Lumine, but I'm honestly fine with either.
Identity V -> Elisop (Aesop Carl | Embalmer/Eli Clark | Seer). I haven't played this game in a hot minute for storage and laptop reasons, and I'm also not updated with the lore (nor was I entirely familiar with it from the beginning, outside of the MAIN main lore). But this ship and game were a huge part of my personal development, I think, and I do want to return to playing it in an honest effort eventually (I WANT MY ROBBIE RANK BACK). I think I perceive it differently than other people do, mainly because people oscillate between two sides of the Aesop Carl characterization spectrum. But there is something really fun in the idea that Eli, with his ability to see the future, thinks that he can somehow "fix" Aesop, under the impression that his and Getrude's relationship will never mend. And Aesop, who sees Eli and feels real love for the first time, finds that he doesn't know if he wants to kill and embalm Eli, or if he wants to indulge in this feeling called love. Toxic, probably. Their color schemes also match very well together (which is actually what led me to ship them in the first place, before fandom influence), and they are extremely compatible gameplay-wise.
Haikyuu -> IwaOi (Iwaizumi Hajime/Oikawa Tooru). If you told me two or so years ago that this was my favorite Haikyuu ship, I would have LAUGHED IN YOUR FACE. I hated Oikawa and didn't care much about Seijou. But then. But then. I went through a like. Month-long Haikyuu revival not too long ago and only read IwaOi fics because I came to this revelation. Oikawa is really goddamn relatable. I think we are all, in a sense, Oikawa, at one point or another. He is THE teenager. He is someone you can project every single one of your problems onto because his struggles with being untalented and unworthy are interchangeable with pretty much any self-worth conflict: internalized homophobia, eating disorders, socializing, etc. Iwaizumi can also provide these internal debates, but in a context with Oikawa makes it even better. Does Oikawa carry this ship for me? Yes. I don't care what you think I'm not here to defend myself.
Voltron: Legendary Defenders -> Klance (Keith Kogane/Lance McClain). Do NOT talk to me. They have ruined my life in pretty much every aspect. Also an exception to the not shipping thing because they are kinda the whole reason I even watched this show past season... three probably. I don't even wanna talk about them anymore because it'll just upset me. Just know that as far as the Sheith vs Klance debate goes, Sheithers are wrong for that after Keith called Shiro his brother. There. I added my fuel to the ever-burning garbage fire that is Voltron shipping. I may talk about Klance again in the future but for now I wanna leave my thoughts off here.
Merlin BBC -> Merthur (Arthur Pendragon/Merlin). Thank you Merthur fandom for teaching me what a good fic is supposed to taste like. They are kind of the epitome of the ships I tend to gravitate to: TRAGIC. The ending of Merlin is traumatizing and the fact that all of the cast pretty shipped it (as well as you can see the faint mouthing of the words "I love you" in the final death scene) is like. The first true healthy immersion into a ship I've ever had. I never obsessed over them too hard, I think, but Merlin is still my favorite live-action show, and Merthur is always well and true to my heart. They also got me introduced to the master/servant trope in terms of medieval times, and I had a very long affinity for it in fanfiction. I don't like it as much anymore, but I look upon that time with happiness rather than the usual slight embarrassment.
She-Ra and the Princesses of Power -> Catradora (Adora/Catra). I also make an exception for enemies to lovers for them because they even added that extra-friendly step of friends to enemies to lovers. Genuinely, no show surprised me as much as She-Ra did. Shout out She-Ra for giving me the worst envy I've ever felt in my life. I want to rock a suit as well as Catra did in that one scene. Anyway, I loved their development. I know some people criticize it for being rushed towards the end, but I like the way they were able to forgive Catra so easily. They understood what it meant to be used and manipulated, what it meant to be unable to fight against oppressive forces. People are mad at compassion, even though that's the literal whole point of She-Ra. Whatever. They could never make me hate you Catradora.
Percy Jackson (all book series) -> Percabeth (Annabeth Chase/Percy Jackson). The blueprint. That's it. That's all you gotta know. I don't read fics about them because there is nothing to improve upon. One of the best written series and best written romances of all time. It was basically everything Avatar: The Last Airbender failed to do with Kataang (sorry for ragging on them for a second but that's the only thing I didn't like about ATLA; the romances) failed to accomplish, with all the same in-depth and wonderful characters. Like, they are everything I aspire to have in a relationship. The way they are simply meant for each other and aren't rushed, but are always implied to have that cutesy young crushes until they finally got together. I love them. Ugh. Uncle Rick you win again.
Anyway, these were some of my favorite ships of all time!! Sorry, I blabbered a lot. Probably listed more ships than you meant to but I take whatever opportunity I can to talk about things I enjoy IN DEPTH. There were also a lot of M/M romances, which, I swear to God, just happened out that way. I love plenty of F/F and F/M relationships, they just rarely end up as my top favorite. DO NOT accuse me of anything because I WILL NOT hear it.

Oh thank you there’s more of Everything Goes On coming - I’ve been loving this so much - it’s exactly how breakups go and the raw emotion is painful, and vile and perfect at the same time. 💜
Also, Aether is lucky Dew shredded his stuff and not him.
I don't like leaving angst... unresolved I guess lol
I much prefer hurt/comfort to hurt/no comfort, ya know?
The only thing stopping Dew, is the fact that he still loves Aether.
For Aether, he's been waiting to let the other shoe drop, to deliver the message that, not only is he leaving, but that he doesn't want Dew to be a part of what comes next.
He's ready to move on, to move forward... Dew's not.
Dew's still as in love as he was yesterday, and that makes it all the harder for him to grapple with the fact that Aether isn't.
And then there's the others.
They're not sure what went down, but they know something happened, and they're confused and upset by this turn of events, so logically they'd seek to place the blame on something, someone.
In some cases, there is, there is someone to blame for the relationship falling apart, but in this case, what happened is more... intangible.
Aether isn't in the wrong for falling out of love, and it's not Dew's fault that Aether's feelings for him changed.
Although his approach could have been better, but it feels more realistic to have things be a little messy.
And Aether probably will regret the way he did it, not the break-up itself, but how he treated Dew, with distance and time, because despite his current attitude, he's not a complete, uhhh, eloquent terms aside, asshat.
Dew's also not totally innocent in the matter either, but he isn't the villain either, even if the others are pointing fingers at him, they're also grappling with the fact that their close friend is leaving.
He's not just leaving Dew, he's leaving all of them behind.
And it's easier to shift the blame than it is to accept that Aether wanted to leave for some time now.

on our fates alight- late arrival (1)
Tumblr media
A wave of exhaustion made Mathye wobble as he tucked Riven in. First taking care of Alisaie, then Riven, both absolutely heartsick- Alisaie more than his sister, his own memories of the mercy kills he'd had to perform during the war coming back to haunt him…
Enough. Halone's voice was an unyielding command. Sit down. Rest.
"My lady." Mathye murmured. Gratefully he obeyed, his robes rustling as the bed dipped beneath him. Then he started as a glass appeared in front of him.
"Fruit juice." Sebastian offered. "Or so they say. Tasted like no fruit juice I'd ever had before.”
"I thought I told you to sit down." Mathye said, accepting the glass.
"And I told you to go fuck yourself. I'm fine. So is Odin." Sebastian countered. Seeing Mathye drain the glass dry, the darkness Dominant turned. Striding toward the dinner table, he picked up the jug of juice that was on it, coming back over to Mathye.
"How is she?" Concern was in his voice as he looked at Riven.
"She'll be better when she wakes up. Both of them-her and Alisaie. " Mathye watched Sebastian top up his drink. "I still want to smash that bastard’s face in, however."
"The tainted Light?”
"She said it wasn't bothering her or Valefor." Mathye drained the glass again. "I can sense it in her aether but it seems inert. But to be on the safe side, I told her not to Prime." Sebastian offered more juice, and Mathye nodded, "In fact, we probably shouldn't be Priming, period. At least not until we can talk to Zoissette."
"Little hard to do considering she fucked off to only gods-know-where Y’shtola is.”  Seeing Mathye shake his head at another refill, Sebastian went to put the jug back down, but not before getting his own glass.
"Also, not Priming might be too tall an order."  He added. "There's how many Lightwarderns left? And with how beat up Riven was from fighting only one?”  Mathye frowned, looking down at his empty glass.
"I would prefer we not Prime because even though the night's been returned to this area, there's still an overabundance of Light in the aether here." He began.
You think us drawing on the ambient aether might corrupt us. Halone whispered. Mathye nodded.
What if we limited our time exposed? Odin asked.
"A possibility, but Zoissette’s far better at figuring such things out than I. And I'm thinking we need to make it a priority to find her first, despite whatever the fail summoner tells us.”  Mathye exhaled. “We find her, we can better navigate the aether of this world without any permanent damage.”
"Did you see his reaction when he saw us?" Sebastian asked.
"I saw. He didn't expect us here."
More than that. He was lying when he said the spell malfunctioned when it came to you all. Augustine is already suspicious, and both Reinhardt and Zurvan are on alert. Halone added. Mathye exhaled, bending over.
"I can't help but feel we got here too late." He began, glancing at the sleeping Riven. "We came too late, and now she's got the aether of a Lightwarden inside her. And has agreed to kill the remaining four. I trust that damn Exarch as far as I can throw him.”
“Could ask him where Y’shtola is, then head out in that direction.”  Sebastian offered. “He can’t stop all of us.”
“Maybe.” Mathye mused. “Thancred and Urianger aren’t around here either. Part of me would feel better if we’re all together, considering what happened to break us apart in the first place.”  A thought occurred to him, and the priest straightened.
“Speaking of Zoissette…did you lose her aether too?”
“I could sense her in the forest, but then it was like she was swallowed up by Light.”  Sebastian replied. “Hopefully she’s found Y’shtola and unPrimed, but with how much the machine was taking over…”
“It’ll be a while before she’s back to normal. And we can’t track her when she’s not Primed.”  Mathye sighed, rubbing the palms of his hands over his eyes. “Shite.”
The best option right now is to gather as much information as we can. Odin was a whisper in the men’s minds. If your suspicion about the Light-aether corrupting us is correct, then you both need to rest. We will have to rely heavily on your resources if you call us into more active service.
You more than us. Halone responded. Light-blessed your bearer is, but I can tell this is taxing on you, Odin.
It is bearable now. More than likely due to the Light being expelled from the region.
“I’ll see about our rooms.”  Sebastian added. “And track down Augustine and Reinhardt. You get some sleep.”
“Hhng.” Mathye grunted, rubbing his eyes again. “I’ll be—”
“No.” Sebastian’s voice was sharp. “Until we find Zoissette, you’re the only damn thing we have that can warn us about what the Light can do to our bodies. That means not overworking yourself—and putting your health before ours when it’s called for.”
He’s right. Halone whispered. You need to rest. Mathye sighed, closing his eyes.
“Alright, alright. I’ll stretch out for a bit.” He said, submitting to Sebastian and Halone’s demand. “But wake me if something happens.”

How Picard should end.
The very probable end of The Next Generation is coming and with it the beginning of the end of the first phase of the revival of Star Trek that began with Discovery. Here's what I'm thinking about.
As I write this, the final episodes of Season Three, the series, and perhaps even this sub-franchise are coming into view. I refer to it as a sub-franchise because I think that Picard as a series has a storytelling approach and a set of themes that it has explored that overlap with Discovery but also has its own identity.
Because of the age of many of the principal characters, there has been a strong theme of having to adjust with grace and empathy to a world radically changed from what was normal and comfortable to you, having to acknowledge your complicity in the faults you find in this world, and of repairing relationships that have been harmed.
Immersing myself in where Picard has been as a series, even just the first four episodes to date, has given me a strong sense of what it is that Picard is about and thus some strong, but not pugnaciously held opinions on how it should end. The failure to do any of the following will not “ruin” the series for me, although the alternatives better be really well done.
For the first time of the CBS era, I actually really feel strongly that my own aesthetics could be defied and I will still really enjoy the outcome. For example I despise the trope that Jack Crusher represents but the trope has been so superbly executed that I’m almost annoyed at how completely I’m in his corner.
Speaking of Jack Crusher….
I would strongly prefer he not be written off as a space god or killed. For one, this is just Wesley’s arc duplicated. For two, while “NuTrek” is doing a great job at moderating the setting’s default posture that transhumanism is bad, it feels too cliche and even cheap in a way for him to vanish into the aether. Let him live, as a mortal, trying to do right by all of the people who fought and died for him not because he was a space god, but because it was right.
We’ve had three seasons of intense focus on the deeds of mortal and fallible individuals struggling to know what is right in a morally complicated universe, taking huge risks, and even sacrificing stability, family, love, peace, sobriety, and even their own lives: don’t end this with space magic. Don’t do another “space magic makes it all better so nobody really ever had skin in the game” ending.
Speaking of Wesley, having the two meet would provide a nice bit of closure for Beverly. It would bookend nicely with her line about already having lost one son to the same stars that call Jean luc.
Seven of Nine & Raffi
On again or off again, just pick a lane and make them handle it like adults.
As I’ve said before, I see two equally valid paths for Seven assuming it's handled properly. Seven can remain in Starfleet, her acceptance earned and her merits recognized by all but especially by Shaw. Ideally were this to be the case, I think I would like to see her take up Picard’s mantle of mentor to misfits.
There isn’t a character who is better positioned narratively in this series to become the person who sees something in people that others don’t and can find ways to take the round hole that is Starfleet and make it a square hole for the people who need it.
Or she can walk away and reclaim her full autonomy. Go back to the Fenris Rangers or go into Starfleet Intelligence.
As for Raffi, the past two seasons have intensely focused on the work the character was doing to first recover from addiction and then reclaim her mental health and with that the ability to have relationships without either her need to chase mysteries or the desire for control alienating those around her. It's time for Raffi’s work to be seen by others and to be supported.
In the first season it was entirely fair for her son to refuse contact: she was too much a creature of her substance abuse and her obsessiveness. Now? Cut her some slack and let her show that she’s mastered the thing that makes her the hero no one is prepared to recognize that they need until it's too late but also makes her the villain in her own life.
I would merrily support a Worf & Raffi spy action buddy cop series. Seven, Jack, Laris, and anyone else unaccounted for who is not really a good fit for traditional ship service can come too if they want. A Star Trek answer to Firefly or The Expanse would be incredibly fascinating with good writing. Given the way Star Trek Picard has been critiquing the limits of institutional power in dealing with the unknown or morally complicated situations, I think the time is right.
Perhaps this could be the Section 31 series instead of a 23rd century era one. Just have the Guardian of Forever send Georgiou to where she’s needed rather than where she belongs. She’d be a great foil for Zen Worf and the morally flexible but not that morally flexible Raffi.
Section 31 are bad guys, full stop.
Speaking of Section 31, either confirm that Section 31 has been disbanded and formally disavowed or that it had its Church Committee hearings and been folded back into Starfleet Intelligence with strong oversight and strong guard rails. Putting Worf and Raffi front and center in it would afford an opportunity to show that it is possible to address existential threats to the Federation without genocide or the intervention of space gods.
It's really only been after seeing Discovery recycle the same deus ex ending, only worse, that I have come to realize that the way Deep Space Nine finished the Dominion War arc really, really rubs me the wrong way. My list of things that I think are completely antithetical to the core assumptions of Star Trek is not long, but the Federation being saved not once, but twice by attempted genocide is definitely on that list.
Don’t get me wrong, Deep Space Nine is probably the most overall well executed series from the point of view of nearly every aspect of the show being consistently competent, but falling back on Section 31 to save the Federation? Not a fan of that.
Romance
I am not on the Bev/JL train. It had its time. For all the ways that Star Trek Picard has been in conversation with critiques of TNG’s very 1990s “end of history” worldview, one thing that was superbly managed was the idea that Beverly and Jean luc could try out a romance, realize it doesn’t work, and then be content with a strong bond that doesn’t need to express itself romantically. It was incredibly, shockingly mature for a 1990s drama.
This show did not kill off Zhabon and an ancestor of Laris for Laris to be killed off or to politely step aside.
Maybe Bev is happy being unpartnered. How about them apples? Maybe a senior woman is perfectly self actualized on her own and can take or leave romance.
This is probably one of the looming plot resolutions I am the most likely to be actually angered by if it doesn’t go the way I would prefer and it isn’t handled extremely well.
Once again, do not fridge Laris to make room for Beverly.
That would easily make my list of the top five most appalling creative decisions of this show and this is coming from someone who has invested quite a bit of effort into defending and rationalizing its other controversial decisions. Having her step aside with her life and dignity is less distasteful but still frustrating.
The Federation and Shaw
Follow through with the overall theme from season one that institutions solve big problems but rules are not there to follow mindlessly. Conscience matters as does doing the right thing even when you are fearful.
It may not be fair to ask 500 people to risk their lives for four people who have deliberately chosen to put themselves in harm’s way on a fool’s errand, but then when does it become fair? Does it have to be 501 lives on the line to be worth 500? How morally virtuous do the victims need to be?
Smaller, more nimble actors don’t have to make these trades. The Mugato in the room is the Maquis. They could easily have provoked war but they did also provide a means by which Federation citizens who wanted their autonomy could contest Cardassian oppression without exposing the Federation to the specter of war  if the Federation failed to ensure their well being.
Also when and if a bad call is made out of anger, fear, or incomplete knowledge of the situation, how the consequences of that decision are addressed matter.
The Federation abandoned the Romulans. As did Picard himself. Picard accepted responsibility in Season One. The Federation extended its protection over Maddox & Soong’s Synth colony but there’s no mention of any peacekeeping or humanitarian efforts for Romulans who have rejected “the old ways.”
Finally, Shaw has his reasons and this series has been nothing if not incredibly nuanced in how it invokes trauma and uses it in a way to explain but not justify the behavior of characters. A theme I have thought about a lot in the context of Captain Marvel is the way that coping mechanisms for trauma often encourage self reliance and aloofness to the extreme. In Shaw’s own words “at some point asshole became a substitute for charm.” I would argue that the final stage of healing would be to become a team player who is capable of forging authentic relationships built on mutual trust and respect.
Now I do think this is coming in the form of a sincere working relationship with Seven but I would prefer it be extended beyond Seven. For Shaw to accept Seven as Seven is a good start but everyone is capable of accepting “one of the good ones.” Some sort of broader recognition that it's on him to swallow his terror and rage, it's not on every single XB to prove they’re not going to assimilate him.
Other characters / elements
BBEG: (Big Bad Evil Guy) I don’t know that I’m necessarily hoping for anything or anyone in particular. Armus would be cool. He’s one of the last entities on the board with an axe to grind who could conceivably be a credible menace to Changelings and shares some of their mercurial nature.
The alien parasites would be neat as well. That that has long gone unresolved is a longstanding gripe but I feel like the time may have passed. Thematically the Changelings have more or less eaten their lunch when it comes to replacing people and intricate conspiracies. At this point, I think it would be just as well to retcon the infiltrators as having been an early effort by the Changelings to infiltrate other societies without exposing themselves to danger. The Founders certainly have the genetic engineering acumen to design a parasite species.
Elnor: at least mention him as existing, if not give the character some proper closure. Show him thriving in Starfleet and having a good relationship with Picard and Raffi as mentors and surrogate parents, explicitly connect Picard’s experiences with Elnor as a child and his effort to repair his relationship with Elnor as having been a practice run for Jack and the recognition that Jean luc would not have been his father as a parent.
Or show him choosing to leave Starfleet for the Rangers or even just to lead a quiet life of study and meditation. That’s cool too.
Jiurati: if the big bad is the Borg or related to them somehow, it would be cool to see Jiurati’s faction sweep in to help defeat them. Otherwise maybe one more reference would be nice.
The Admiral Janeway cameo is long overdue.
It would be nice for Worf to mention Alexander and Jadzia. Perhaps in the context of giving advice to Raffi on love, life, pursuing rapprochement after being an absentee parent, and living with the knowledge that your life choices place partners in existential danger. It would be a great way to cement their dualistic role this season rather than having Raffi be Worf’s sidekick.
Don’t fridge Tuvok. Find him safely.
Oh yeah, there's also JL himself.
We don't need to have Picard die on screen (again.) As far as I'm concerned Logan is all I'll ever need for Patrick Stewart death scenes. Its just too hard to contemplate. I consider the character of Picard to be a father figure and I'd kind of just prefer that he gets to be happy. I'd like for him to get good with Elnor and Jack.
"I tried so very hard to belong to this place."
Maybe pass the vineyard on as a national park that is Picard in name only. We all know his real home is in the stars. Putting him to work leading a Romulan humanitarian NGO that relies on his Starfleet contacts and credibility is I think the perfect bookend to how the series began with his despair over the Federation's failure and the ongoing interrogation of whether Starfleet is the only legitimate or appropriate entity for solving problems in the universe.

FFxivWrite2024 - #2: Horizon
noun
— the line where the earth seems to meet the sky ; the apparent junction of earth and sky
— something that might be attained
“Ah—! My apologies. I did not know you would be here.”
He’d heard her soft footfalls before she spoke, but his ears nevertheless perked up at the sound of her voice. “I wanted to watch the sunrise,” the Crystal Exarch murmured. “Would you like to join me?
Estrild’s hesitation was clear as day, but she relented and came to stand beside him, placing her hands on the railing mere ilms away from his own. The Exarch could not help but think it would not take much for either of them to reach out and—
“How are your wounds?” she asked suddenly. “Are they healing well?”
The question shook him out of his reverie, but he was able to compose himself quickly, thank the Twelve. “Quite well, thank you for asking,” he replied graciously, trying not to grimace as memories of his time in captivity rose unbidden to the forefront. Which little effect, if the frown and furrow of her brow was any indication.
“Your and the others’ ministrations insured the worst of my injuries would not worsen and my return to the Crystal Tower took care of the rest.” He assured her. “It would be a little while before I’ve recovered enough to be able to send you back to the Source without detriment to myself, but I assure you, I am well enough to walk the streets of this city.” He could not—would not admit that the former also slowed the crystallization that would have undoubtedly resulted should he relied entirely on the Tower for his recovery, but there was no avoiding the trained eyes of a healer such as her.
“I am… so glad you are safe. When Emet-Selch took you away, G’raha, I—” she stopped herself just as his heart skipped a beat when he heard his old name on her lips. “Might I call you that? Or do you prefer to be referred as the Crystal Exarch?”
“The name rings strange to the ears,” he admitted, “Long as I have been the Crystal Exarch, it has ceased to be an act. This is very much who I am now. Yet when you speak to me as the young man I once was, he cannot help but stir within.” He turned away from the horizon for a spell to gaze up at the Crystal Tower. “And then the old days come flooding back. The days when we sought the truth of this tower together… Call me whatever you like. I would accept any form of address from you, Estrild. After all, you were an inspiration to me then. Though I did not think it possible, you have become even more of an inspiration to me now.”
She tilted her head in that inquisitive, almost-birdlike way of hers. “Am I?” she asked more to herself, it seemed. “Even after…”
Even after…? What was it that made her doubt herself so? She had done nothing but meet and, in many ways, exceed his expectations since her arrival in Novrandt. Even her inability to contain the aether of the Lightwardens had been a possibility he’d be expecting—and in no way was it the result of some kind of failing on her part. And the moments of vulnerability he had glimpsed in their quieter moments… That a soft heart such as hers could wether the harshest of storms only fuelled his belief in her… and his desire to protect her in whatever way he could.
But whatever train of thought she had, she did not vocalize any further. She just sighed, clearly unwilling to elaborate further. She’d always been reticent, he knew and tried to not take it personally. Perhaps one day he will have earned enough of her trust for her to be able to share her worries with him.
When she met his eyes again, her expression at the very least, was soft and—dare he think it?—affectionate. “If that is what you wish. As I was saying before… I’m glad you are safe. When Emet-Selch took you away, he invited me to the Tempest where I could complete my transformation into a Lightwarden away from prying eyes.”
Did he now? The Ascian had certainly made sure to inform him of her arrival—a final taunt meant to break his will, but only strengthened his resolve to *escape, go to her, help her—*but he had assumed…
“At the time I… I didn’t know if there were any hope left for me, so I decided…” she raised a hand to her chest. “If it was inevitable that I would become a monster, then I wanted the last thing I did as myself was to save my friend. I am glad I was able to.”
“I…” G’raha Tia was at a loss for words. He could only turn away to hide the fact that, once again, his eyes started to well with tears. “Thank you. And forgive me for deceiving you for so long.”
“It all worked out in the end. There is nothing to forgive.”
It did, didn’t it? He’d been ready for her to believe him a villain so long as his death did not cause her more pain than necessary, but selfishly… He had to admit, he was glad that she knew the truth now. Had things gone awry, would she still be as ready to pardon him for his lies? He was almost tempted to ask, but he did not want to this delicate moment in the rising sun.

merbedo... merbedo behavioral hcs or just general things he does? if you don't mind talking about him 🤲
hmmm. mixed in a bit of his brother too to help me come up with some things.
sorry i've written more than i expected, so i hope its what you wanted at the very least
neutral - typical albedo behaviour, quiet and observant. most likely to be resting against the ground, if in the company of other people, because it helps alleviate weight. enjoys listening to people and studying their mannerisms closely, but won't really make any advances to actually touch or get close to someone. just enjoying the peace.
happy - will prop up his torso when he's particularly interested and happy. digging and flexing his claws into the sand. ear fins are more propped up. he tries not to move his tail too much in case he hits something, or someone, but its a good indicator of his mood. it'll grow more restless with a happier mood as his thoughts wander. he loves holding people, especially klee. a guilty pleasure of his to get as close as he can to people he trusts, being able to see and feel everything they do sates his curiosities completely. said curiosity will come out in full bloom if he recognises someone going out of their way to make him happy, but he will typically not go and physically touch someone unless they recognise his reluctance and give him permission of their own volition. *
sad - his fins are going to droop immediately, although it takes a lot to upset him, so it's not a common sight. he isn't one to back away from the situation though, after all he wants to understand humans properly and possibly make amends to the situation as quickly as he can. if he is truly consumed by sorrow, he will probably sink into a corner of his tank in the facility and curl up, or find a nice rocky beach to hide away and recollect himself.
* - its ingrained behaviour from the facility that created and 'cares' for him. none of the personnel are allowed to get close to him, treating him as a mere means to discover the secrets of the ocean. the only kind of contact he gets with humans there is through a thick glass window. rhinedottir and her crew don't exactly... take care of him and dorian very well, her lack of treating dorian as a being with human sentience made him lash out eventually, which in turn made her attempt to dispose of him after multiple casualties occurred... and this would've repeated with albedo too, if klee hadn't befriended him by chance.
extra - being touch-starved is shared between the brothers, albedo will snap up any chance for physical touch. dorian, on the flip-side, is too traumatised to accept it from humans, except for aether and maybe klee. as such, he can come across as particularly possessive with aether, coiling around him like he's going to be taken away at any moment he lets down his guard. albedo very much likes to rest on beaches for the warmth and also being able to draw in the sand. he absolutely adores it when sucrose or klee are there, doing their own things or taking part in whatever he's doing. he takes them for rides out into the water too. conversely, dorian much prefers the depths of the ocean, but will sometimes come up to silently observe, just barely peeking out of the water. klee attempts to get his attention on multiple occasions but it always results in him fleeing. the only one that really gets any success with him is aether... albedo's job primarily is to research the ocean, but he always brings back more samples than needed so he can give them to sucrose, as they both enjoy trading various specimens with sucrose's being from the surface and albedo's being from the sea. it helps lighten up his time at the facility, though they have to be sneaky about it. (rhinedottir eventually finds out, but decides to just stay quiet because of it helping albedo focus on his job, much like his friendship with klee keeping his spirits up) albedo and dorian tolerate each other a lot more than in canon, because dorian recognises that rhinedottir mistreats albedo too. there is a bit more mutual understanding from them because they're the only merfolk to exist. dorian was extremely rough and hurt albedo pretty bad, but he did try to help him when confronting him for the first time, ripping off his tracking collar. though it was a volatile mix of emotions and trauma that made him do it in such a hostile manner.

Rain high 😫 loving it, may I request the other ghouls? 🥹
Oh I can 100% do the others ghouls, I’ve been thinking about this all day
Mountain loves to get high and go fuck off in the woods by himself a lot. It helps him feel connected to his element, and he likes to talk to the trees and plants. Sometimes he brings a sketchbook with him, and he always brings snacks. One time he forgot them and ended up accidentally eating a poisonous berry. He was sick all throughout the night, and vowed never again.
Swiss is notorious for getting crossed. Anytime he smokes a little, he starts craving a drink. He either ends up having the craziest conversation with whoever will listen, or he flops on the couch with a glazed over look on his face. Rain loves to snuggle him like this, Swiss’s hands like to idly roam their skin, playing with rains hair and tracing every like of his body. Rain loves the attention, and Swiss loves the pressure of a body on him. (He also loves Rain.)
Aether doesn’t get high offen, preferring to be the one babysitting and… documenting all the goofy stuff his packmates get up to. But every once in a while, he will indulge. He always ends up slouched on the couch watching something dumb on the old tv, eyes blaring red, way too high for his own good. He doesn’t know his limits very well. Sometimes he lets someone snuggle up to him, other times the thought of someone touching him freaks him out.
Dew mainly likes to get stoned in his room either by himself or with one other person. Sometimes he partakes in a different spot, but not often. His room is small, safe, and comfortable. Everything he needs. When he’s by himself, he puts on an old blues record and gently dances by himself, swaying to the beat. Eventually ending up laying on the floor giggling at something he thought of. When he’s with someone in his room, there’s a 50% chance they’re fucking and a 100% chance they’re both too high for their own good. Dew is so snuggly when he’s high, just rubbing his face into whoever is nearby. It’s very endearing and a side of himself he’s slightly embarrassed by.
Sunshine is like Aether in the fact that although she indulges more often, put her in front of anything moving and she’s just entranced. One time Swiss gave her a metal slinky and her head exploded. She likes the little dancing fruit videos on YouTube.
Cumulus will go with any vibe. She matches mood well and is happy to do it, but she really enjoys joining rain on his trips to the lake, sitting on the dock with a joint while she watches the bubbles form from where rain is sat at the bottom.
Cirrus is the weird type to get high and want to do things. She gets high and goes for a run, or cooks dinner. You have to be careful, she will leave all the cabinets open or forget her shoes for the run, but it’s go go go. Sometimes she drags someone along, but most of the time it’s someone sober. No one else can keep up with her when they’re both high. She just has too much energy.
Bonus Copia
Copia likes to wander around the abbey halls, probably getting into places he shouldn’t and breaking things he shouldn’t be touching. If any of the ghouls find him like this (or get him like this,) they all tend to form a big fuzzy purring pile around him. He may not be ghoul, but he’s pack. He’s pack and he’s Papa and the ghouls all look up to him with such adoration it s painful. Normally Copia is bad at accepting love and affection, but when he’s blazed out of his mind, he allows himself to feel it.
Feel free to request any more headcanon type things! I love writing them

Hi, hello, hi :D For the asks, 2 for the HeliWingJet polycule (because I'm predictable) and 14!
Hi! For the boys, alright! :D
2. What's your oc's orientation? (Romantic/sexual/platonic alterous ect) Do they have opinions about it?
Helios - polyamorous demiromantic (romantic attraction based on pre-established trust)
Ironwing - ambiamorous homoromantic (romantic attraction towards the same gender, or in his case this means individuals with the same identity)
Nightjet - polyamorous omniromantic (attraction to all, no preference)
They're all ace. Every single one of my TF OCs is asexual actually, now that I think about it. Hm.
As for their opinions, I think Helios would just love everyone who treats him fair and understands him, and doesn't mind him being himself around them. He puts up a front most of the time in the presence of too many strangers so it's nice to drop the friendly neighbor act when someone has seen through it. Acceptance is his biggest green flag.
Ironwing has had four boyfriends in his lifetime (three of which are dead, btw, why am I doing this to him) - I guess he likes them? I don't know, lmao.
Nightjet is a sappy romantic and he was just waiting for someone to be romantic with. He's not picky, though that's not always a good thing. It worked for him.
14. Do you have ocs on the aro or ace spectrum?
My TF and Brave OCs are asexual, some are also aromantic and some are aplatonic and some are both. (Do I have to list them? There are. Many)
Light of Aether OCs:
Ace: Amber Varnice, Cryo Volta, the Sorceress
Aro: Avalanche, Flamaclam, Icador, Rhiza
Aroace: Malfunction/Vindictus, Lucerna, Nameless
Apl: Scyre, Tinnitus, Etra
For the rest, I didn't think about it before or it's not relevant to the story.
