my favorite dynamic between the miraculous team is between Chat Noir and Queen Bee. Both are not quite themselves and yet are. Both use the miraculous as a way to get out of their lives. Both crave the freedom that comes with it
I love it when they start to grow close. Chat Noir is always cracking jokes, never in one place for too long, and can talk to anyone with no problems—it reminds Chloe of Adrien when they were little when Aunt Emillie was alive, and when Adrien was not a mannequin for the Agreste brand with a fixed fake smile, even to his longest friends. Queen Bee is sassy, confident, protective of other people on the team - it reminds Adrien of Chloe, when she wasn't a rude brat who mentioned her father's job in every second sentence, who is instead still sassy and funny with her remarks, but knows when to stop.
They use each other company to remind themselves of the closest person they ever had. They joke around, laugh, and pull others in their shenanigans. Queen Bee excitedly helps Chat Noir to try on some new clothes and Chat Noir teaches Queen Bee fencing and helps her communicate better with others. Both are quietly aware that the other uses them as a sort of rebound but both are afraid to bring this up because what if this ruined their friendship
However they also fight a lot, but their arguments are mostly for the joke. Neither of them is mean to each other, they just like arguing about some stupid stuff. They are also quick to blame each other for something, in a true sibling fashion.
It's a working dynamic between them until someone finds out someone's identity. Because then there are questions: when is Adrien his true self? Why Chloe is nice to their teammates but absolutely horrible to her classmates? Is Chat Noir just pretending to like her? Is Queen Bee just playing nice to keep a miraculouses?
Their dynamic is crumbling, they both argue constantly and can't stay in each other company for long enough. It worries other team members but they can't really help.
And because I am a sucker for happy endings, this whole thing ends up in a huge fight where they both are finally asking questions they've been wondering since the reveal. They try and cry and then don't talk for days after, but essentially return so much stronger than before. Adrien helps Chloe to be more nice to people in school. Chloe helps Adrien to show his true colors to his friends.
They still blame each other when trouble arises for huge Ladybug dismay (she is actually really glad they finally talk to each other and back into their old dynamic. It's nice seeing both of them happy)

"¿How would you dress adrien and chloe?" Well.....
Yeah...all of Adrien's clothes are chosen by his father, more than anything to promote his own company
I like the idea of keeping Chloe's blue makeup because I really love it, I also like her ponytail but I feel that since I draw it..... i feel doesn't look good on her so I left her hair down
I feel like Chloe would wear gloves since she doesn't want to touch anyone idk😭
I would also say that Chloe and Adrien are more like siblings in my redesing/au (Chloe does not fall in love with Adrien 🥱)
Would I also remove Sabrina as her "best friend" and would I give her character development🤗
Adrien would leave it as it is because I love it the way it is and I would change several things about Cat Noir. I have a lot of ideas but I don't know how to express them because I don't have good English lwbfowme
If you would like to know them, I will try to say them in some post or fanart :")

If you gave Chloe a redemption how would Zoe fit? Not Vespera just Zoe...
I discussed this in more detail here, here, and here, but canon Zoe has all the hallmarks of a Mary Sue. She shows up out of nowhere in the middle of the show and immediately becomes close to the main cast. She has no real flaws. Everyone loves her. She gets a romance arc with the main character. She's the only person other than Adrien to wield the black cat miraculous. You get the picture. She's the kind of character I expect to see as an OC in a fanfic, not an actual character in canon.
While I will defend the rights of Mary Sue's in a general sense, a Mary Sue has no place in Miraculous canon. It's the wrong type of story for an idealized self-insert that the audience can project themselves onto for many reasons, chief of them being that those types of characters only work as main characters. This makes it impossible for me to use Zoe as-is. I'd have to completely redesign her character so that she had depth and flaws and I have no interest in doing that.
It's not that I hate Zoe, it's that she has no reason to exist outside of being Chloe's perfect replacement. Take away that role and what is she even doing here? What purpose does she serve that you can't give to one of the twenty other teenage characters that canon already introduced!!! And that's not even counting the specials which introduced another three for some reason. Writers, what are you doing? Stop adding characters!!! You need depth, not breadth!!!
In theory, Zoe could be used as part of Chloe's redemption, but that would require them to have an actual bond. As best I can tell, in canon, Chloe and Zoe didn't meet until the start of season four. They're sisters in the biological sense, but that's about it. This once again makes it hard to see Zoe as value added.
If the Kwamis didn't exist and Zoe was Chloe's cool older sister, then she'd have some potential as Chloe's mentor, basically taking on the role I see Pollen in. She'd also have potential as a significantly younger sister who adores Chloe, making Chloe act nice because she wants to keep that adoration. But Zoe is none of those things. She's basically the same age as Chloe, Chloe doesn't care about her, and Adrien already fills the role of Chloe's same-age sibling who grew up in a different home, so why would she need another one?
Another theoretical path for Zoe would be to let Chloe redeem Zoe. We know that Zoe was a massive liar in the past. If she was introduced while still in that phase, then redeemed Chloe could show off her new skills by helping her sister. It would even give you a nice way to address how messed up their mother is.
As nice as that may sound, I still wouldn't go there unless Chloe was my main character. Zoe's redemption just eats up way too much screen time as you have to establish who she is, give her a relationship with Chloe, and so on. Not a quick little addition to the script and not worth the time when her only purpose is fleshing out Chloe. There's also the Sabrina issue. If Chloe is going to redeem someone, it feels silly to add a whole new character when you have an established character right there, ready and waiting. Writing wise, Sabrina feels way more like Chloe's sister than Zoe ever did so why add Zoe?
No matter what way you look at it, canon Zoe just isn't needed. There are no missing roles that she's ideally suited to fill. You'd have to totally redesign her to make her work and, at that point, you're not using Zoe, you're using an OC with the same name.

Hello again!
I'm curious, what dynamics would Zoé have with Sabrina, Adrien, Marinette, Felix, and Time Travel Duo (Luka and Alix) when she arrived and after Chloé's redemption arc. Will she get the Cat Miraculous like in canon? Will we have some Kittybella (Ladybug Alya and Cat Zoé) moments? XD
Oh, and Chloé and Zoé should definitely have a sibling rivalry about both of them having a crush on a same girl XD
Also, am I tripping, or Chat Noir's outfit is loosely based on Tuxedo Boy from Sailor Moon? If yes, it would perfectly fit for Adrien's canon love for anime (he and Chloé are watching Sailor Moon together all the time!)
Zoe would probably have trouble breaking out of her “online” persona, like she’d say something like “cutielicious” then catch herself and apologize for being cringe ehehe. Other than that, everyone would probably accept her!! Zoe would become part of Chloe’s friend group (The class calls them The Empire) and they’d all hang out together! :D
Zoe doesn’t get the cat miraculous like in canon, (since I haven’t been able to fit it into my timeline YET) but there IS a Rena Rouge and Carapace duo!!
Zoe would NEVER do that to Chloe, that would go against girl code!! /lh (but I personally don’t have a pair for Chloe in the au because I feel like she has way too much she needs to address about herself before she can date someone-)
CHAT NOIR IS KINDA BASED OFF OF TUXEDO MASK LMADKNFEANLJ, I’m lowkey embarrassed it’s so obvious 👉👈 like I really liked his cape so I gave it my Chat Noir redesign! I grew up with shoujo anime like that so the mysterious yet charming love interest is kind of engrained into my DNA.

If you could erase any character from Miraculous Ladybug, which character would it be? The catch is you cannot say it's Adrien.
Oh that's easy. I'll actually tell you a few I'd cut.
For characters I just do not like, it's either Tikki, Marc, Nathaniel.
Out of all the animal research I've done on mythology and symbolism, the Ladybug is just the most boring. Kinda a bummer it's the centerpiece. As for Tikki herself, she's not really a character, she's a mouthpiece, trying to play cute mascot but also be a mentor, but she doesn't really mentor or advise Marinette hardly. On one hand, you could count the actual good advise she's given. Otherwise, she's just not a great main kwami to have. They don't even do anything fun with her tied to luck and love. If there was a kwami that was to get a lot of attention, I'd rather it be someone else.
Marc is just the vague LGBT insert that isn't even defined on what he or they are, and he/they are the... 4th anxious character to be apart of the cast. And he/they only got a Miraculous cause they're good at soccer/football? And because they're in Mendeleiev's class, they're even less of a defined character outside they like to write and have anxiety. I think people only like him/them because they ship him with Nathaniel and it's the only, potentially, gay ship ML will lightly humor, as all other popular guy ships and friendships got axed by girlfriends (seriously, I think they saw Adrinino and Kimax was popular, so they gave Nino and Kim girlfriends, and then they hardly hung out with their best guy friends anymore). So Marc to me feels like a waste of a character to include. Personally I don't care about him myself.
Of the classmates, Nathaniel I dislike the most. Due to my own personal history, characters that will destroy another's property and feel entitled to do so, and offer no apology or regret over it, yeah that's going in my bad book. It's actually bonkers to me that MarcNath is so popular as their intro ep together just raises so many red flags to me.
For characters I'm neutral on, I'd say Zoe or Luka.
Zoe feels like she was included to be an answer to the want of either a redeemed Chloe or Lila. Only instead of redeeming either of them, because apparently the show needed two mean girls to be against Marinette, they gave us Zoe who's a mix of them. And with her "sad backstory", she has that Mary Sue vibe. Also nothing about her set up really screams a match for Bee for me. I don't get her inclusion at all aside from lazily skipping out on redeeming one of the mean girls. The cast was already big enough, she was not needed. If Bee HAD to go to a blonde, Aurore is right there. And she's an actually liked character.
As for Luka, while he was an amazing alternative to Adrien for Marinette and did offer her support, that was it. He didn't progress the story of things, wasn't an actual love rival for Adrien that made him realize "oh, I may like Marinette and may not like her being with another boy". He didn't progress the story at all, which, if Marinette was stressing about all her responsibility of being Ladybug or how good she was at being LB, I would've used Luka as the alternative, the "rival" of the role as everything about him is set up to be the perfect hero, especially being so mature. He also joins the "Rich Daddy issues", which, we got enough from Adrien. Did we really need more? Which also sucks as, from what I've seen, it's more about Luka and Jagged and Juleka herself is hardly included, which, why is he and Juleka even siblings if she's not going to matter as much in this as Luka does?
The other factor is that Luka feels like a repeat, that someone else could've filled that role he has. For he's a blue boy who likes music and has a crush on Marinette.
Where have I heard that before...
Tumblr media
Instead of immediately going the DJWifi route, why not just expand on Nino liking Marinette? He even could've been a proper love rival given that he was going to get a Miraculous anyway, and that's going to be the ONLY way Adrien would have a proper love rival.
But I guess Marinette can only be paired with white boys, can't give anything more to Nino that would have him more involved. Also would've had him work off Rena Rouge more and better build up them getting together.
No, just can't have that. We gotta add another character into the already big cast.
Lastly, for characters I like, I would actually say Marinette. This show and a good chunk of the fandom doesn't like her anyway, just let her go.

Okay, hear me out. a jegulus miraculous au.. James is ladybug, and his superhero name is Helios (named after the sun god). Regulus is chat noir, and his superhero name is Astraeus (name after the star god)
Regulus, like Adrien, has to live up to his family's expectations, and the only time he can be himself is when he is Astraeus
James is friends with everyone and will do anything he can to help them, and everyone loves him like marinette!!!
also imagine the love square?! Astraeus loves Helios, but he's in love with Regulus, who denies his feelings for James because he loves Helios!!! Also, the black brother angst would be amazing, Sirius escaped the family and became a rockstar while Reg is stuck doing whatever his mother tells him to do.
the characters would be something like
Marinette - James (ladybug - Helios)
Adrien - Regulus (chat noir - Astraeus)
Shadow Moth - Walburga
Mayura - Orion (He does whatever Walburga asks him to)
Alya - Sirius
Nino - Remus (HE'D BE DATING SIRIUS AND BE REGULUS’S BEST FRIEND!!! PLATONIC MOONWATER SUPREMACY)
chloe - Severus
sabrina - Lily maybe?? like how she realises her friendship with sev is toxic, but she doesn't want to leave him?? Obviously, if I wrote this au, I would nake it so that she leaves him, but so that she still cares for him and wants the best for him even after everything he's done to her, yk?
Kagami - Barty (Can have some bartylus, but they realise they're not meant for each other, and then it turns into jegulus and rosekiller!!)
Felix - Evan (just in the sense that i NEED rosekiller and i feel like they would have a similar dynamic to kagami and felix, also i kinda love the idea of Evan and Reg being cousins)
Rose - Pandora. They're both so sweet and everyone loves them.
Juleka - Emmeline (i dont know much about her, but the fics I've read with emmadora are adorable. I love them, and i feel like they'd have the same sort of relationship as juleka and rose)
Tom and Sabine - Effie and Monty ofc
For Mary, Marlene and Dorcas I'm not entirely sure but I don't think the characters have to be the exact same as they are in the show. So I think Marlene and Dorcas could be
Marlene - Mylene
Dorcas - Ivan
I'd really want Mary and Lily to be together, and I don't really know who Mary would be? Maybe Zoe? But if I made her Zoe, I wouldn't want her and Severus to be siblings, but I feel like Sabrina and Zoe's characters could have a good dynamic? If anyone has any ideas PLS lemme know

Miraculous Ship Names
I hate when people just mush characters's names together to have it as their ship name, so I, and two friends of mine, have come up with a couple unique names we think fit all the canon and semi-canon ships of miraculous. I'll also give my brief opinion on what I think of the ship, so be nice as my tastes might be different from yours, but with that out of the way, let's get started.
Name: Catastrophe Ship: Adrinette (Adrien x Marinette) Type: Het Opinion: I kind of only see them as just friends
Name: Betrothed Ship: Adrigami (Adrien x Kagami) Type: Het Opinion: I wished these two got together over what we got in canon
Name: Regal Lily Ship: Alirose (Prince Ali x Rose) Type: Het Opinion: I think it's really cute, but it probably wouldn't last too long
Name: Legally Blonde Ship: Chlodrien (Chloe x Adrien) Type: Het Opinion: I wished these two had a sibling dynamic towards the end of the show, but we can't have nice things
Name: Shining Armor Ship: Chlokim (Chloe x Kim) Type: Het Opinion: I can kind of see the vision with them, definitely toxic for sure
Name: Insecurities Ship: DjWifi (Alya x Nino) Type: Het Opinion: It felt rushed in the episode that introduced them as a couple and I don't know just never felt anything with them
Name: Stockholm Syndrome Ship: Feligami (Felix x Kagami) Type: Het Opinion: It was rushed and Kagami wouldn't realistically hook up with someone that looks like her ex especially their cousin
Name: Toxic Love Ship: Gabenath (Gabriel x Nathalie) Type: Het Opinion: I love how toxic this ship is and wished it continued for the entirety of the Agreste arc
Name: Princess & The Tailor Ship: Gabmilie (Gabriel x Emilie) Type: Het Opinion: I mean… it's alright for what we got in canon, but that's pretty much it
Name: Goths & Roses Ship: Julerose (Juleka x Rose) Type: Femslash Opinion: I think these two are absolute cuties and I absolutely love them
Name: Sinking Ship Ship: Kimdine (Kim x Ondine) Type: Het Opinion: I don't like this ship as both people are at fault in the relationship
Name: Just Business Ship: Liladrien (Lila x Adrien) Type: Het Opinion: Eh don't really see it
Name: What Could've Been Ship: Lukanette (Luka x Marinette) Type: Het Opinion: This should've been endgame over Adrinette
Name: Infatuated Ship: Marcaniel (Marc x Nathaniel) Type: Slash Opinion: I don't like Nathaniel he's a bitch and Marc deserved better
Name: Delusion Ship: Marikim (Marinette x Kim) Type: Het Opinion: I didn't like how the writers made Kim look evil when he's just a himbo
Name: Gentle Hearts Ship: Myvan (Mylene x Ivan) Type: Het Opinion: I wish we got more of them as I do think they're cute together
Name: Sketches Ship: Nathanette (Nathaniel x Marinette) Type: Het Opinion: Eh I don't really see it at all plus this came out on the second episode of the first season so yeah no
Name: Just Friends Ship: Ninette (Nino x Marinette) Type: Het Opinion: Honestly this came out of nowhere as it was meant to put Alya and Nino together by the end of the episode
Name: Tell Me Why Ship: Zoenette (Zoe x Marinette) Type: Femslash Opinion: There weren't that many moments with Zoe and all of a sudden she's in love with Marinette yeah fucking right

*+ Ships +*
So that there’s no surprises, here’s a running list of ships in this AU - it’s pretty much the same as canon and I’ll mention which ones end / what will be the endgame ships!
Main Characters ——————///
Tumblr media
Ladybug & Adrien
Brief and innocent
Comfort and fluff
Not endgame nor dating - occurs briefly
Tumblr media
Marinette & Chat Noir
Angst and rebellion (and more angst)
comfort/hurt
Heartbroken babies find unsuspecting comfort in each other
Always gave off “best friend” vibes — someone they can talk about their relationship problems to
Not endgame, nor do they date, but they have a sort of healing situationship for awhile
Tumblr media
Marinette & Adrien
Sweet and healing
Forbidden love - it’s like the world doesn’t want them to work — especially because they have to lie to each other constantly.
Not endgame, but they do date for a while until they mutually agree, painfully, that it’s not in the cards for them - more angst
Tumblr media
Ladybug & Chat Noir
Forbidden, secret love
Comfort/hurt
Endgame - they realize that the only people they can trust is each other
Tumblr media
Adrien & Chloe
Trauma bond, emotional instability, situationship
Chloe craves the attention that her mother never gave her, Adrien is trying to escape from the grief of his mom’s death.
Ends early on: Adrien tells her that everything he was doing was just to make her happy. Chloe becomes upset because she wasn’t trying to take advantage of him and his emotional state, as she is broken too.
They both don’t have romantic feelings for each other and stay close friends. Chloe becomes protective of Adrien since she doesn’t want that to happen to him again.
Turns into a sibling-like relationship
Tumblr media
Adrien & Kagami
Rebellion, understanding
Adrien is trying to run away from his feelings for Ladybug; Kagami finally finds the first person she can relate to and mistakes it for love.
They date for a little bit but Kagami is hurt about Adrien’s avoidance in the relationship. Kagami ends things but eventually returns in friendship once she figures out that she only loved the idea and perfection of Adrien — not Adrien himself (this would explain how she falls for Felix genuinely without it appearing like a rebound)
Tumblr media
Marinette and Luka
Comfort/hurt
Marinette is running away from her feelings for Adrien, and Luka is there to catch her.
They date casually for a little bit, before Luka becomes concerned with Marinette’s avoidance in the relationship.
They mutually end things, and Luka tries to be okay with this. He’s secretly hurt, but more than anything, he just wants Marinette to be happy. Marinette wants Luka to be with someone who deserves him, and she knows that in her state, she can’t be that person.
Tumblr media
Felix and Kagami
Enemies to lovers to partners in crime
Yeah Kagami falls for the antihero because she admires how bold and rebellious he is. Felix falls for Kagami because he admires how ruthfully truthful she is
Endgame ship
Tumblr media
Gabriel x Nathalie
All of the freaking angst
Nathalie devotes her life to him, his cause, and his son
Gabriel finds comfort in Nathalie as he goes through the grieving process
Don’t ask them, they’ll deny it (probably endgame but we’ll see)
Other Character Ships ———///
Ivan & Mylene
Power couple that’s going to make a greener earth
Juleka & Rose
Gave off a sister vibe at first and then figured out they were actually in love
Marc & Nathan
Will make a husband and husband’s comic book about Ladybug and Chat Noir
Kim & Ondine
The mermaid couple
Not endgame - Ondine deserves better
Luka & ??? — leaning towards Chloe
I really want this good lad to be happy because he deserves it, but I can’t figure out who he’d be happy with.
The ship Chloe/Luka is kind of growing on me — post-Chloe’s character arc of course. I kind of like the thought of him being the calm to her storm, and her aggressively sticking up for him because he’s too chill to correct the mistakes of others. Ie she would call over the waiter and complain they got his order wrong and he would just be in the corner like “hey I said it was fine you don’t have to do that for me.” And with her, she would be about to get super angry and frustrated, and he would just be like “shh, listen to the music in the room” or some shit, or even just grab her hand and ground her, helping her arc. She needs someone to calm her and give her affection, and he deserves a woman that’s going to fight for him.
Thoughts? Suggestions?
Zoe & ????? — leaning towards Ondine (or Aurore)
I want to establish a side character for Zoe, leaning toward her having a relationship with Ondine just on the basis of listening to the song “boyfriend” by Dove Cameron—
Ondine saying “fuck you” to Kim and running away happily and gay. Fuck Kim lmao

Chloe knowing Savate well to take Mayrua and Adrien's own combat training just has me imagining like... I they started squabbling in a sort of old friends, pseudo sibling way.
It starts off fairly normal but then suddenly Chloe flips Adrien who easily goes into a role and snatches up the nearest object and throws it.
Chloe deflects with a kick and it quickly becomes a rapid fire exchange of blows somewhere between "Did they choregraph this?" and "Are they actually trying to kill each other!!?"
The answer is neither, they just know each others movements that well its easy to have an otherwise dangerous fight without any real harm.
Sparring as a love language my beloved!

Alya Cesaire (mlb rewrite)
[Note] Hey, hey! I wanted to start rewriting and designing miraculous for the fun of it. Please note that this is just for fun and giggles! I will try to keep the rewrite as close to the show as possible, at the same time I want to put as much of my ideas into it as I can. Also this is probably an angst au, because of my 3 am brainrot.
Alya Cesaire
Honestly I love her as a character, though she is a bit too supportive of the plans Marinette has and she still believes Lila? Like tf- But she is still cool in my book. I have to say, Marinette butted Aly into her love life herself, so I don't get why people think of Alya as annoying for being involved in Adrinette? Well enough of me yappin, let's get into the rewrite!
Backstory:
Look, I at first wasn't sure what to do with her. So I thought of her personality first! So uhh, Alya has a complicated relationship with Celebrities and rich people in my au. So I decided, why not make her grow up in a mega city? We had that in geography! In case you don't get what I mean, Mega cities are giant city's, which are known to grow hastily. Occasionally you can also have harsh disparities, like a bunch of rich people houses, but right around the corner you have the slums. (A bit exaggerated)
So I decided to choose Lagos as the city Alya grew up in? Idk still not sure, so that may change. But important ist, that Alya already learned early on life that life is unfair and that even if the rich see the poor every day, they'd rather spit on them than help. (Also a bit exaggerated)
So I decided that one of the reasons that Alya wants to become a journalist is to find all the dirt on the rich and shine light on things truthfully, regardless of what she mind find.
She is half french, half Nigerian and moved to France when she was 10, back then she didn't live in Paris.
She and her siblings enjoy the life on the country side, until their parents get a better job in Paris. She gets into a new class and meets Marinette who gets bullied by Chloe, but Alya wouldn't let that slide.
Personality (season 1-3):
Courios and nosy. She is intrested in everything around her and no information is safe from her. Fun fact, that becomes a problem when she meets lady bug, unlike in the original mlb, Alya views Lady Bug as a celebrity not worthy of privacy, under the eyes of "the people have right of knowing who you are."
Kind, nurturing and helpful. When Alya isn't in journalism mode, she is caring. She is Marinettes very first friend and views her as a younger sister. She is in general a good older sister, while she isn't the oldest she never once backed out of baby sitting the twins.
Confident and protective. She believes she needs to protect the weaker people. Which also the first reason why she protects Marinette from Chloe and even from Adrien, who she like Marinette dislikes at first. She comes to accept after a while, becoming one of his most trusted friends.
The voice of reason, but supportive. You might go like: "Do you seriously plan on using Alya just as a person to give advice to Marinette. " No, I do not. While yes Alya is the more mature person, she is also just a teenager. So Alya will still support a few of Marinettes ideas, but will call her out when she is batshit crazy. But another intresting thing, despite Alya hating rich people she will be the first to help Chloe! Why? You will see, you will see.
Alya as Rena Rouge
Unlike Marinette, Adrien and Chloe she is handed the miraculous. That means she is the only one who must return it after fighting, so her superhero persona can't really develop as much as it could.
But there are still some small changes.
Secretive, after realising what being behind the mask is like, she realises that her identity needs to be a secret. That means Rena rouge is the most secretive about her identity.
She is cunning. You need to professionally trick a villain? Don't worry, Rena's got your back. She is surprisingly creative with her ideas and occasionally even helps lady Bug with planning.
Personality (season 4-5)
Everyone has character development and Alya gets some too. She still wishes to become a journalist and expose secrets, but she is a bit more understanding of the people behind the mask for example.
Like everyone she too starts acting more like an adult during the end of the series, but that is just a part being a hero I'd say.
A lil treat, she will also become more distrusting. That means at the start of the series she is very social and all, until something happens that kinda destroys her world view on a few things.
I sadly can't really say more about my plans with her otherwise I'd spoil a lot of the ideas I have :(
Drawing
Tumblr media
I am really unsure about her hero design and her hair, but I really like her every day outfit for the sole reason she looks her age! She actually really likes fashion, kinda like Marinette does in a way of self expression, which doesn't stop her from grabbing the most comfortable thing she has in her stomach.
Well this ends out drawting session!

soo,,, this will be my last pre-miraculous season six loooong rambling post,,,, end of an era wow im glad its almost over 😭
ive been thinking A LOT about chloe’s arc and the implications of her coming back since its now confirmed that she is, and i have…. thoughts.
chloe and zoe are wonderful opportunities to observe how different siblings handle the abuse they face at home. while zoe was able to overcome, chloe succumbed to the fate her parents set out for her. while chloe sees the world as a power struggle to be gamified, zoe is able to recognize life more than that. they kinda played around with that, but most of it was overshadowed by the “we gotta hate chloe MORE” agenda. i wish they did more.
i do believe andre was deeply wrong for sending chloe off with her KNOWN abusive mother. was it easier for him? most definitely, but was it right? NO! though, i do think chloe living with her mother might finally break the attachment chloe has for her mother’s approval, but it will also break her. no matter how rotten she became her mother still doesnt love her. thats inherently tragic.
while doing my rewatch, i tried understanding what the writers were thinking in s3 and i kind of get it now. according to her characterization, despite the teased redemption arc, chloe was never going to actually change after the events of s2. sorry to say. her main character traits are only influenced by her proximity to absolute power, as ladybug once had in her eyes from s1-2. even with mrs. bustier, she associated her with power over her classmates, which is why chloe cared for her briefly in s2 until her power was undermined. children/teens like chloe only change when they are ready to change. it takes staring at change head on, and denying it at every opportunity to take it until the time is right. she was never going to change from help from her teachers or classmates or her parents (they never tried lets be real) or even ladybug. she had to make that choice on her own, especially for that change to last.
since we will see chloe in s6, i hope this is at least briefly touched on, and her abuse is recognized appropriately, and not weirdly dismissed like it was in s5. and i want a moment for adrien and chloe to bond again bc its easy to forget how close they were before going to school together. i also hope its not a complete shift into “oh shes perfect now and can do no wrong” and the writers are able to depict that change in a nuanced way. chloe was easily the main civilian antagonist in mlb, but she is not pure evil. at the heart of it, shes a child who seeks to be powerful in the face of the powerful people that neglected her. She deserves a chance to grow as a character, bc with the new direction miraculous is going in, stagnation will feel contradictory in this season.

Hey there! I was just wondering, are there any headcanons about your favorite MLB characters that you’d like to share?
my number one favorite of all time is that chloe confused familial and romantic love and doesn’t actually ever have feelings like that for adrien. She’s always loved him as a brother, but because of the toxic household she was raised in(she didn’t really get any familial love) she assumes she loves him romantically. (there’s the added bonus that if they get married she won’t risk losing him to anyone else.) I think that them seeing each other as siblings is the reason adrien took so long to give up on her, and excused her actions for so long. He saw firsthand what made chloe the way she was, and she’s family to him. Family is SO important to adrien, it’s no wonder he struggled to hold her accountable for so long.
I also think Chloe is aromantic, or at least VERY weary of being in a relationship because of the role models she had growing up were her parents.

Character Dynamics
Okay so let's begin this post we'll talk about the more important characters of the rewrite but I probably will need to split into two posts.
Adrien Agreste
Chloe is Adrien's closest friend from his childhood. He's constantly trying to get her to hang out with his new friends but the issue is he wasn't prepared for how she acts. As a child he knew that his mom and Audrey didn't get along but it wasn't until style queen and queen wasp that he understood what kind of person Audrey was. He sees how Audrey's behavior has shaped and changed Chloe which is why he stops Chloe from leaving with her mom. Episodes like Despair Bear is Adrien trying to convince Chloe that she might have more in common with his friends than she thinks. Adrien isn't a total pushover with Chloe when Adrien sees Chloe being mean to Ivan he calls her behavior out. We will see them growing closer again as Adrien starts fixing their fractured friendship.
Juliet is Adrien's second friend he made at school. Adrien and her have a lot in common since both of them were homeschooled and currently live with one parent. They also share a love for superheros. They often feel like siblings with the way they act and joke around. Juliet is able to understand what Adrien's going through better than some of the others. That's not to say she can completely understand what Adrien's going through because she doesn't know what it's like to lose a parent both of her parents are alive and just divorced. Their similarities make her easy to approach when Adrien is having issues with his dad.
Marinette well we have the love square but Mari isn't as obsessed yes she has a crush on him but not stalking level like in the show. Mari has a crush on him and does some awkward things for example the voicemail thing still happens most of the other stuff like breaking into his house doesn't happen. Her and Adrien are friends with her crush on him sometimes getting the better of like Volpina. She does try to get over Adrien when she thinks he's not into her but failed. Adrien for his part actually started developing feelings for her in season 3 but pushed them aside since he already was dating someone and so was she. As Chat Noir and Ladybug their dynamic is mostly the same though they're on more equal footing.
Allegra is Adrien's other childhood friend she's a bit older than him already being in Lycées when we meet her. She is a student teacher in fencing. Adrien and Allegra are super happy to see each other again as Allegra had to move after her parents found out her grandmother was sick. The two reconnect as if it hadn't been years since they'd seen each other. She often acts like an older sister to Adrien. He normally brings out her more jokey side which her friend group is shocked by.
Nino is the first friend Adrien made at school. Nino quite fittingly since he has the turtle miraculous acts as a protective figure to Adrien especially considering Adrien is so new to public School. And honestly, I don't have too much to say just because it's much easier to watch it play out.
Valérie is an interesting one because she's the granddaughter of Wang Fu who's not only Adrien's mentor but his Mandarin tutor as well. Val is one of the few people who knows the identity of the original 3 early on. She can be a bit critical of all of them Chat Noir especially considering how destructive his miraculous is. She does relate to Adrien a bit with having an overprotective parental figure aka her Grandpa.
Gabriel is much different than his Canon counterpart. He doesn't threaten to pull Adrien out of school and actually does care about him. He just has a hard time expressing himself especially after his wife Emilie died. Again, he's another one that's difficult to explain without showing it.
Felix is Adrien's cousin the two of them used to be really close when they were kids but Gabriel and Colt had a falling out. Which led to Felix not seeing Adrien anymore. When we meet Felix in season 2, he is rather distant. He does love his cousin but he has a lot of trust issues thanks to Colt. And he is jealous of all the friends Adrien has how people seem to love him so much. As the series goes on, we see their relationship gradually improve and Felix make friends with some of Adrien's friends.
Luka is in all honestly probably going to be the last one I explain because in all honesty this is a lot harder than I thought it would be. Luka is good friends with Adrien they first became friends through having a couple mutuals then Luka was looking for a keyboardist for the Kitty section. Luka often is the person Adrien will vent to because he doesn't want to bother the others. Luka tries to always be there when Adrien needs him. He also listens to Chat Noir vent when they're on patrol.

Not Aware AU exactly but kinda tangential. I always toyed with this idea of "Kagami was transferred into Adrien's class when she joined the school."
This could be in S2, or be because Tomoe saw Adrien was attending school and she's got those later season machinations & sends Kagami to make sure he's not snagged by a gold digger.
(In the former case its just in S2, while in the latter it starts after Princess Fragrance.)
This was fine and fun at first, but Kagami is more willing to start shit with Chloe & much less patient with Adrien's continued softness.
Plus, Adrien can't really explain why he's fond of Chloe cos its a mixture between he can't imagine his life without her (Sibling coded) & stuff like, "She was there for me when mom disappeared & got me into school".
This leads to her at some point losing her patience and dragging both off to a classroom and basically saying "Either she needs to improve or you need to drop her, because this cannot go on."
You'd expect it to be a two on one but Adrien's efforts to play peacemaker lead to Kagami arguing with him as well.
Then when one of Chloe's major blows lands hard against Adrien, "Our parents harm more people every day than I do in a year and you still love them, hypocrites!"
It does nothing to Kagami, because she doesn't love her mother, she respects her, obeys her and fears her wrath but she doesn't love her even a little and she assumed Adrien was the same.
He is not the same & is in fact kind of defensive of his father at such a blatant rejection of one's own family and how uncomfortable it makes him.
It basically descends from there, cos I love slow burns but sometimes its just like, "Hmm what if they all started screaming their issues that they do not realize are issues at the top of their lungs?"
None of these kids know therapy talk so their languages on it is already going to be shit even before we remember literally not a one of them has much in the way of healthy communication or good social skills outside of formal events so:
So you have Chloe defending stuff like destroying Roses' letter because "That's how Mama handles it when I give her bad gifts, she's telling me to do better and one day I'll get it right!" As well as "Why would Papa want to see me when he doesn't need me for something? He's not a lunatic control freak like your parents."
Then you have Adrien defending stuff like, "I know my dads cold and has impossible standards and barely lets me do anything I want but he is protective and just wants what's best for me!" & "My mom was always kind to me, she was perfect even if she never let me go out or have a birthday either!"
& Kagami defending Tomoe with, "It doesn't matter how I feel about Adrien, or my instructions, I act as I do because it is for the good of my family. My emotions, my life don't matter at all before that duty!"
So its just three incredibly fucked up abused kids steadily airing each others and their own families laundry list of abusive traits and experiences under the pretext of saying "No my family is normal & OK yours is the bad one" and "How dare you call 'that' bad, when your parent does this!"
(Also Chloe may think Gabriel killed Emilie or otherwise would rather have Adrien sealed in amber forever than as an actual living boy,)
With this continuing until it either gets physical or they basically collapse.
Meanwhile the class is just watching in mounting horror and disgust and discomfort. (Nino is likely especially pissed) Like even with Chloe it may not justify her behavior but it puts so much of it in a new deeply messed up context where it kind of makes sense she doesn't even know how to be nice.
To quote a friend of mine:
The rich kids have taken knives to each other. They've cut open their festering wounds. The rot is exposed, scrubbed raw. While they lie angry, bleeding, crying, and dying [inside], they have the opportunity to look upon themselves once more and apply new dressings.
I can see it, but unless Gabriel is ACTUALLY out of the country, all three get Akumatized. My thoughts are a weird mix Grimm Brothers Fairytales - Cinderella, Snow White, Hansel & Gretel, etc. Not in specific, but like. More fairytale tropes?
Adrien is the "Cinderella"-style. Rapunzel, Snow White-style, "One Day My Prince Will Come"-style. The type of character that has to sacrifice and sacrifice, and will eventually be rewarded. If he does one more photo shoot, one more public appearance, *scrubs one more floor*, his father will finally love him. He'll finally have the happy ending he wants. He just has to stick it out - cause his dad DOES love him, right? (As a possession, if at all.)
Chloé is more of the "Trials"-style. Complete this mission-style. Knit twelve sweaters from nettles, and your brothers will become human again. Find the right goose, and get set free. Defeat the evil witch, and the spell is broken. If Chloé tries hard enough, does and says the right things, her parents will love her, show her affection. She'll finally be worth something. (All of it performative and shallow, until they raise the bar to another impossible height. Always keeping her dependant on them.)
Kagami, weirdly, I see as more endurance, or contract style - like a flipped version of Adrien. She isn’t really trying to "change" her situation the way Chloé or Adrien are, (for value of "trying to change it", ie, playing along with their parents games because that’s all they know to do) she's accepted this is the way it is, and is simply trying to endure it. Go through the motions. Hold up your end of the bargain. Work within the bonds of your deal, to do as little harm as you can, while still fulfilling your end. One day, you'll be out. You'll be free. (As if her mother will ever set her free.)

Episode 6: Dark Cupid
A stunning woman, admired for her beauty despite being in a committed relationship, finds herself caught in a web of jealousy and envy. One evening, she accompanies her boyfriend and his parents to a restaurant. When she and her mother-in-law find themselves alone, a man approaches the woman, hitting on her. She politely rejects him, mentioning she has a boyfriend. The mother-in-law, simmering with jealousy, watches with disdain.
Returning to the table, the girlfriend and her boyfriend share unexpected news: she's pregnant. The mother-in-law, her anger bubbling over, later tells her son to kill the woman. He agrees, and the sinister plot unfolds. The girlfriend is lured to visit the in-laws, only to be murdered on the way there by her brother-in-law.
Late that night, her boyfriend calls, frantic when she doesn't return. Panic sets in when he calls the police, and the next day, they confirm her body has been found. He is devastated, his world shattered.
The next day in Ms. Bustier's class, the students are assigned Sleeping Beauty by Charles Perrault. Marinette shares with Alya her love for fairytales as they leave class together. In the hallway, they see Adrien, surrounded by Chloe and Sabrina. Alya scowls, but Marinette's gaze lingers, envy tightening her chest. Alya notices, warning her to stop. Marinette feels ashamed, but Chloe catches her eye and smiles wickedly.
Later, the boyfriend visits the mortuary to see his girlfriend's lifeless body. Overcome with grief, he cries for her and their unborn child.
In Ms. Mendeleiev's class, Chloe grabs Marinette's hand, pulling her aside when everyone else leaves. With a smug smile, Chloe says, "We should be friends."
"What are you talking about?" Marinette responds, confused.
"We have something in common. I'm Adrien's number one friend, and you're his number one fan," Chloe declares, her voice dripping with possessiveness.
Marinette's stomach churns. "You're delusional," she mutters.
Chloe's smile turns cold. "Know your place. Adrien is mine. Stay away from him.”
Chloe leaves, and Marinette stands there, burning with a mixture of anger and confusion. Tikki appears, concerned. Marinette, eyes filled with fury, mutters, "I should've let her stay dead."
"No," Tikki says softly, "don't say that. Remember what Adrien told you? If she bothers you, talk to him."
"But Chloe's right," Marinette sighs. "She's his best friend. Besides, I won't ever get the chance to talk to him."
Back at home, the boyfriend is surrounded by his family. His mother feigns sympathy, but he sees right through her. When she makes a cruel joke about his girlfriend's death, he snaps, attacking his mother in a fit of rage. His siblings pull guns, holding him at bay. His grief turns to sorrow, and he breaks down in tears, his anger giving way to hopelessness. It is then that the darkness overtakes him, and he is Akumatized.
Pain rips through him as dark wings grow from his back. His family flees in terror, but he chases them, shooting arrows that pierce their hearts. They fall, dead, one by one.
At school, Adrien and Chloe are together again. She flirts relentlessly, pulling him into a closet, eager for a kiss. Adrien hesitates but then succumbs to the moment. But as their lips meet, he imagines Ladybug instead, and the kiss feels hollow. Chloe pulls back, her voice full of self-satisfaction. "Don't you think we make the perfect couple?"
"Yeah, sure," Adrien replies, his mind elsewhere.
"Want to come to my house?" she asks, undeterred.
"Why not," Adrien says, deciding he could use Chloe for his own ends. He's tired of waiting for Ladybug.
Meanwhile, Marinette is at home, doing her homework and reading Sleeping Beauty. Tikki smiles at her enthusiasm. "I've never seen you so excited about homework."
"I love fairytales," Marinette admits, lost in thought. "I used to imagine I was the princess, saved by a prince."
"Is Adrien your Prince Charming?" Tikki asks, playfully.
Marinette blushes. "No, he's more than that."
"Well, I'd say Cat Noir is more like Prince Charming," Tikki teases.
"Really?" Marinette asks, surprised.
Tikki nods. "Think about it. All the times he's saved you. He's been more of a Prince Charming than Adrien."
"I still want Adrien to be my Prince Charming," Marinette replies softly, a sigh escaping her lips.
Adrien, meanwhile, is at Chloe's hotel, but something feels wrong. As he walks toward the elevator, it opens, revealing a woman lying on the floor. Her face has been blown off, blood everywhere. Adrien recoils in disgust, his hands covered in her blood. Then, everything goes black.
When he wakes up, Chloe is there, worried. Adrien brushes it off, but his mind is racing.
Later, as he ascends the stairs to his room, his gaze falls on the painting of him and his father hanging on the wall. But before he can look away, the painted figure shifts—his father's image warps into something unrecognizable. The man in the frame becomes a faceless, demonic figure, his eyes voids of darkness. With a guttural snarl, the figure leaps from the canvas, lunging toward Adrien with a horrifying, otherworldly force. His mother's cries echo in his ears, and Adrien is torn between fury and sorrow.
Just as he thinks he can't take it anymore, his mother, now appearing to comfort him, suddenly slits his throat. Adrien falls, blood spilling everywhere.
He wakes again, startled, as Nathalie shakes him awake. He is frantic, his thoughts racing. Later, after Nathalie has gone, Plagg appears.
"Your house is haunted," he says grimly.
Adrien laughs bitterly. "Is it really?"
"I think so," Plagg responds. "Alya got possessed here, and now you and your dad are too."
Adrien, frustrated, mutters to himself, "I need Ladybug to fix this place."
But when Ladybug enters his mind, his thoughts drift to her. "I need to tell her how I feel," he whispers.
Meanwhile, Dark Cupid begins wreaking havoc, shooting arrows that turn people into violent, hate-filled monsters. As chaos erupts on the streets, Marinette and Alya are shot. Marinette does everything she can to protect her friend, but Alya dies in her arms.
Heartbroken but determined, she transforms and chases Dark Cupid, dodging his attacks and trying to find a way to stop him. She summons a rifle, but misses. Dark Cupid pursues her relentlessly. Just as she's cornered, Cat Noir appears and shields her, taking the shot meant for her.
Ladybug cries out, devastated, as she falls to the ground. People from the streets run toward her, and in self-defense, she shoots them. It feels wrong, but she doesn't know what else to do.
Cat Noir and Ladybug fight, but the pain of betrayal and confusion makes Ladybug hesitate. He lunges at her, tackling her to the ground. Pinning her beneath him, he tries to position himself to cataclysm her face. But in a split second of clarity, Ladybug grabs his face and kisses him. Dark Cupid freezes, his confusion palpable for a brief moment, and in that instant, the spell over Cat Noir breaks. He deepens the kiss, unable to stop himself.
Suddenly, an arrow pierces through Cat Noir's back, its sharp tip passing through Ladybug as well. They gasp in agony, and the pain intensifies when Dark Cupid steps on the arrow, driving it further into their bodies. As Hawk Moth's voice echoes, commanding Dark Cupid to bring them both to him, Cat Noir's eyes flare with a newfound strength. He grabs Dark Cupid's ankle, unleashing a devastating cataclysm that sends him crashing to the ground. Without hesitation, Cat Noir follows up with another cataclysm, this time targeting Dark Cupid's torso, obliterating him in a flash of destructive energy. Dark Cupid crumples to the ground, lifeless.
Exhausted and drained, Cat Noir collapses beside Ladybug, both of them struggling to roll onto their sides. As they shift, blood drips from Cat Noir's mouth, splattering across Ladybug's face. He winces, apologizing, his breath ragged.
His voice shakes with pain as he tells her what to do, gripping her shoulders, his body trembling as he attempts to push away from her.
Groaning, Ladybug begins to pull away too, her own body screaming in protest. But slowly, painfully, they manage to create enough distance for Cat Noir to reach the arrow. With a final, desperate cataclysm, the arrow dissolves into nothingness.
In the aftermath, Ladybug immediately activates her miraculous, her power surging through the air as she restores everything to its rightful state. The battle is over.
When the deakumatized man asks what happened, Ladybug simply says, "You were under control."
Cat Noir, now himself again, looks to Ladybug, confused. "What happened to me?"
"You were under a spell," Ladybug explains softly.
Cat Noir looks at her, realization dawning. "And you broke it... by kissing me?"
Ladybug blushes, smiling shyly. "It worked."
Cat Noir looks at her with a spark in his eyes. "So, it's true love, then?"
Ladybug smiles, unsure, as the weight of their shared journey settles between them.
Later, as the sun sets over Paris, Cat Noir pulls Ladybug into a quiet moment, confessing his love for her. She's flustered, unsure of her feelings, but in his embrace, she lets herself feel the warmth of his love.
But back home, Marinette sits on her bed, heart heavy. Tikki asks what's wrong, and Marinette confesses her inner turmoil. "I shouldn't have kissed him," she admits, tears welling up.
"Why not?" Tikki asks gently.
"Because I like Adrien," Marinette whispers, voice trembling.
"Then maybe you can like both," Tikki suggests.
Marinette shakes her head, tears falling. "No... I only want Adrien."
Tikki wraps her arms around her, offering comfort, but Marinette can't shake the pain of her unspoken feelings.

Fusion AUs?
Ya know what I want? Random One shot fics about AUs where people can use fusion(SU type) inspite of the shows laws and physics. Like how lots of people make Soulmate/soulmark AUs.
Have Velma, the skeptic of Mystery Inc occasional Fuse with Shaggy to escape from potential panick attack inducing situations( these guys have repeatedly faced grown adults you go out of their way to get what they want, you can't tell me these guys haven't gotten lots of trauma) inspite of fusion being a clear magical ability.
-(another scooby-doo one) Give me Mystery Inc fusing because someone just hurt scooby doo badly.
Give me Harley and Ivy having a discussion about whether they should become a Permafusion or not.
-(another DC one) give me all of Bruce's love interests(Diana, Talia, Selina) arguing and Barbara(Minerva, aka cheetah, whos there because she was just captured by Diana) suggest that they all fuse if they all want Bruce so much(that includes Barbara herself, because of Justice league unlimited, and alot of us do love WonderCheetah as well).
Give me Alya and Marinette fusing because they got caught up in an Akuma attack and Marinette can't get away and transform so she needs to fuse with and save Alya.
-(another miraculous one) give me Adrien learning about Fusion out of nowhere because of the events of the previous one, and him struggling to figure out how to do it(maybe have him angst a bit with the idea he might just, not be able to fuse at all!) But then, he figures it, hugging Nino and fusing into Adrino. Though, Chloe does call Adrino, Audino, like the pokemon, as a joke.
Give me Usopp and Kaya being a Permafusion and finding out about Kuro years before Luffy and the others show up, plus how and why Kaysopp joins the crew!
-(another one piece one) Give me Katakuri and most of his siblings fusing to finally overthrow their mother!
Give me something! Anything! I've only found two fanfictions where character have this ability! One was a RWBY one where Ruby got a ruby gemstone that just let her do fusion with others, and another in One Piece where Ds can use fusion and basically pass it on to the others they fuse with!!!!
Give me something that just, changes the dynamics of characters because the presence of fusion just mixes everything up! Some characters aren't present because they are fusions and therego have a different effect on the story!
