I’m most familiar with the ones I’ve put in red- the PPKKa channel previously posted about and the second one is that new men’s solidarity movement (new gen manpower) the guy in the joker outfit leads. so if you’re going to take the time to report any of them I would start with those two first. A Gaza-related action

Hey UK folks, there's a thingy here from Action Against Hunger whereby you can email your MP (through a text they've written, or your own) to push them towards getting Westminster to a) support a ceasefire, b) support humanitarian aid getting through to Gaza, especially with so many in danger of starvation (and already experiencing hunger and malnutrition).

Doesn't take long, and even if there's no direct good response it helps keeps the pressure up and the awareness that the UK populace at large wants a ceasefire.

Reblogs of this post (or making your own with the same link) wuld also be super.

Circumvention of Lawful Pathways

Deadline to Submit Public Comment: March 27, 2023

The Gist (as far as I understand it):

The Department of Homeland Security and Department of Justice have proposed a new rule that will limit asylum seekers.

According to this rule, people seeking asylum at the US's southern border will be determined ineligible unless:

the individual is granted parole prior to arrival,

presented themselves at a port of entry through a pre-scheduled time and place, or

sought asylum or other protection in a country they traveled through and received a final denial

The rule also relies heavily on an app of all things: CBP One. The app requires Internet access to function and there have been reports of how buggy it is (e.g, it does not recognize black faces). This is the app asylum seekers require, though, if they want to make an appointment to satisfy the second bullet above.

There are some exceptions to using the app, but they're narrow and require the asylum seeker to come up with a 'preponderance of evidence' to get the app usage waived.

Unaccompanied minors are exempt.

The rule is only supposed to last 2 years, but there's allowances for review, extension, and modification.

If you agree this rule is shitty, you can submit a public comment.

Your comment must be unique. Duplicates will get collapsed into one and only count as one comment.

The form is super easy to follow and fill out. No weird boxes to check or anything like that. It took me about 5 minutes.

Some tips:

Be clear in your opening that you OPPOSE the rule.

Provide a reason (e.g., against my faith to be welcoming to others, against domestic and international law to protect the right to seek asylum, provides an unnaturally high barrier for asylum, relies on faulty technology).

outside of the fact that everyone who has sex is murdered by the narrative, this is a surprisingly chill portrayal of female sexuality? these teen girls are horny and actively enjoying Getting It On with their boytoys. no pushy boyfriends sneaking in through their bedroom windows--these ladies are taking the initiative to sneak out and GET SOME. one of them gets laid and then immediately orders her boyfriend to get her a beer. (yes she gets Slashered soon afterward, but so does the boyfriend so honestly, gender equality.) yes the Final Girl is the only one not having sex, but she's not bullied for that, nor are her friends slut shamed except possibly by being murdered by the narrative

actually the only character who is shown being morally condemned on-screen is michael myers. specifically FOR his violent overreaction to other people's sex lives. (people he is spying on). metaphorically, the villain is American Puritanism sticking its judgy nose into other people's business.

but actually the real villain is the doctor. guy's a judgemental, shaming, pathologizing asshole. and he's been in charge of michael's care since he was SIX YEARS OLD? kid never had a chance. i'd go on a killing spree too

also the parents. where are the parents? it's halloween night and all the teenage girls are home babysitting their younger siblings? come to think of it, michael's first victim was his own older sister, whom he killed while she was babysitting him. teen girls are really shouldering a labour burden here. maybe parentification is the true villain

side note: mike commits his first murder wearing a clown costume...which is never referenced again? his 'iconic' costume is a generic mask and wig and jumpsuit, when we coulda had a Killer Clown Michael Myers??? travesty

And Jason is looking at Tim in confusion, and Tim is in the corner with his tablet and goes “haha. Nice. Horrified you back into the family, uwu” 

Anyway Tim is a chaos gremlin who deserves to force jason back into the family by making him truly horrified and want to raise tim on his own, which tim is not willing to do, so instead he has to co-parent him with bruce, which leads to reconciliation etc etc…
