General question: Anything on great tiger?
Tumblr media
"Hoo boy! We sure do! Did'ja know that when he's boxing, if he gets tired or bored, Tiger will swap out for one of his clones!
Last week during a fight, he swapped for his clone, Kushagara! And because he don't know a thing about fighting, he lost! Major acircuit wouldn't let him live it down for weeks afterwards!"

Why the circuit board always Winding?
I don't know if you find a strange problem. The circuit on the circuit board is always winding.
As we have learned mathematics, the straight line between two points is the shortest. So why are the circuits on the circuit board designed to be bent? Can't circuit board be designed straight?
First of all, we need to recognize a concept that the shorter the line is, the better the better. For a circuit board, stability comes first.
At the same time, the integrity of the signal must be maintained before the chip can work normally. For example, DDR memory module belongs to high-speed PCB. When communicating data, the eye chart should be opened. If it does not follow the rules of routing, it will directly lead to data errors. In serious cases, even the machine cannot be opened. On the green circuit board, there are different chipsets, big and small, and the frequency is different from each other. When the machine is running, circuit board requires coordination among components. Circuit board can also be forced lengthened for a short time, so that the interface synchronization signal can be upper. Seemingly chaotic, in fact, every line has been planned accurately, and has a great relationship with the clock frequency and even the hardware.
Circuit board
Why is the circuit on the circuit board always crooked? It comes down to the following three points:
1、Consider the size of electronic products. If the circuit in thecircuit board is designed as a straight line, the area of the circuit board will be increased by several times. In today's era of pursuing exquisite and small size, the smaller the area of circuit board, the better, or it will directly affect the area of electronic products. Now people's demand for electronic products is that the larger the screen, the smaller the others are, and the thinner the thickness is, the better.
2、Avoid material waste and quality problems. Incircuit boards, the circuit is bound to turn. If we design the circuit in the circuit board as a straight line, the turning angle will reach 90 degrees. Because the circuit can easily generate reflection at ninety degree turn, such a circuit board will easily be broken in the process of production. In this way, not only the waste of materials, even if the circuit board is successfully manufactured, it is also easy to produce quality problems.
3、Ensure signal integrity. Different parts are distributed on acircuit board, including various power supplies, various capacitors, resistors, etc. When each part is combined together, there will be interference with each other, so this must be taken into account in the design. With this curve wiring, the signal delay difference between the components will remain within a range, so that there will be no confusion in reading. A bad wiring will degrade the performance of the product and sometimes even affect the success rate of the product.
So, don't look at the circuit board always twists and turns to let ordinary people do not understand, but in fact contains great wisdom!

I really want a good equestrian tv show (or movie) about life on the show circuit. I'm tired of banging my head against the wall and watching and re watching Saddle Club and Horseland. I need some quality horse tv. I wish they still had Road to the Maclay on. A new season would be the bomb. Or something like the A Circuit book series. Hell, I'd even be satisfied with a Canterwood Crest series. Lord have mercy on my soul.

Don't Take "No" For An Answer
March 29, 2014
These past few months, I've had more than one let down and mishap in my "perfect plan." Back in December, I was planning to have a working student type job at a fairly large barn near my school, I had a trip to Wellington in mind, and from there I'd have a few options for summer jobs. Well, it is the last few days of March, and WEF is over Sunday. That barn didn't need me as a working student, my offer to get to Wellington was crushed, my other four possibilities to get to Wellington didn't work out, and I have absolutely no clue what I'll be doing this summer.
Everything had been going fairly on track since the beginning of my freshman year, so this was the first major setback I've experienced in a while. Luckily, for me, these setbacks didn't mean not riding for months. I have been fortunate in some aspects. Kristen, the trainer of the barn our IHSA team rides out of, has given me many opportunities to ride. I couldn't be luckier to have the opportunity to ride multiple ponies and horses whenever I have the time. One of my best friends at school, Maddie, has given me her horse, Patrick, to ride when she can't make it to the barn. I'm blessed to have these opportunities, but this has all got me thinking that there are so many riders out there that don't get chances like these.
I have this sign in my room, and the first line on it says, "Find a passion and pursue it." In our sport, it's often difficult to pursue the passion. There's the issue of money, and beyond that, there's often an issue of people with the power to help someone out, not helping. I've encountered this many times in my career, and been let down by people I never thought would do that to me. Unfortunately, the reality is there will be both peers and professionals to let you down. The worst part of the situation is, these people are often the same ones wanting to develop tomorrow's professionals. I have a hard time believing that tomorrow's professionals are going to grow from the juniors and amateurs with ten horses and grooms to match, showing up on the weekends to jump around, and leaving before the aisle is swept.
To the people out there with the power to help, say yes when working students ask for it. If we want to build tomorrow's professionals, it's time to stop saying no. Stop turning your backs on working students because they don't create a profit. If the absolute biggest concern you have is about making a profit, the horse world is certainly not for you.
In my personal experience, I've been told "no" to doing the jumpers, "no" to riding more horses when I volunteered, and "no" to a whole lot of other things, including choosing this as a career. The thing is, often the people that said no, were in a position where they could have helped me. Luckily, I'm extremely stubborn, and when I have my heart set on something, I intend to get it. None of these "no" answers ever stopped me, but what about the people they do stop? As a working student, when you've been told "no" enough times, it's easy to want to give up. As a working student, you need help from a professional who's willing to bet on you. It's easy to get discouraged and hurt when that helping hand is snatched back.
The point of a working student isn't to to make a profit. The point of helping someone out, or giving someone an opportunity, isn't to benefit yourself. It's not supposed to necessarily be convenient for you. The point is to lend a helping hand to the kids out there who would give an arm and a leg just to make it in this world. It's time to dish out those helping hands. Profits and convenience may be great now, but in thirty years who is going to be there to represent the United States, or be the top professionals at home? Practice what you preach. If you want tomorrow's professionals, and talk about how kids these days don't know hard work, then give someone the opportunity to prove you wrong. If you can help someone out that needs it, with something as simple as a contact, or as complex as a ride on a horse, do it.
To the working students out there like myself, don't take no for an answer. Don't stop at anything, or anyone, in getting where you want to be in this world. Not everyone out there wants to help, but when you encounter a closed door, force your way out the window. Sure, it would be simple if everyone could reach out and help, but who ever got anywhere in life taking the easy road? When you reach the top, the victory will be that much greater. Someday, when a working student comes to you asking for help, do anything and everything in your power to help them, and we just might change the way this sport works.
