Sebelum tewas Mumun seolah dikejar sesuatu di dalam hutan. Ia pun jatuh dan tewas bersimbah darah.

Saat pemakaman, si tukang gali kubur, Husein (Mandra) lupa melepas tali pocong Mumun. Hal ini membuat Mumun mati penasaran jadi pocong dan membawa malapetaka bagi warga.

Warga pun mulai menyebarkan kabar bahwa Mumun jadi pocong. Juned yang masih belum bisa merelakan kepergian kekasihnya tak terima disebut ada Pocong Mumun.

Pocong Mumun kemudian meneror si tukang gali kubur. Bahkan Pocong Mumun juga menghantui saudara kembarnya sendiri Mimin (Acha Septriasa).

Pocong si Mumun tidak hanya bergentayangan untuk menuntut tali pocong dibuka, namun ia juga meneror Jefri yang diperankan oleh Volland Humonggio.

Dalam film ini diceritakan bahwa Jefri berperan sebagai preman kampung dan penagih hutang yang jatuh hati kepada Mumun. Ia seringkali memanfaatkan situasi untuk menggoda Mumun saat menagih hutang.
