Crowned With Sharp White Stars
Legolas Thranduilion (Tolkien universe)
Stringing the bow and fitting an arrow he turned, peering back over the River into the darkness. Across the water there were shrill cries, but nothing could be seen. Frodo looked up at the Elf standing tall above him, as he gazed into the night, seeking a mark to shoot at. His head was dark, crowned with sharp white stars that glittered in the black pools of the sky behind. But now rising and sailing up from the South the great clouds advanced, sending out dark outriders into the starry fields. A sudden dread fell on the Company. `Elbereth Gilthoniel!' sighed Legolas as he looked up. Even as he did so, a dark shape, like a cloud and yet not a cloud, for it moved far more swiftly, came out of the blackness in the South, and sped towards the Company, blotting out all light as it approached. Soon it appeared as a great winged creature, blacker than the pits in the night. Fierce voices rose up to greet it from across the water. Frodo felt a sudden chill running through him and clutching at his heart; there was a deadly cold, like the memory of an old wound, in his shoulder. He crouched down, as if to hide. Suddenly the great bow of Lórien sang. Shrill went the arrow from the elven-string. Frodo looked up. Almost above him the winged shape swerved. There was a harsh croaking scream, as it fell out of the air, vanishing down into the gloom of the eastern shore. The sky was clean again. There was a tumult of many voices far away, cursing and wailing in the darkness, and then silence. Neither shaft nor cry came again from the east that night."
Commission for @fishing4stars who brought to me this WONDERFUL idea and gave me the opportunity to explore a night time scene with my markers. Thank you so much and I hope you like it (I already know you do hehe). I'M JUST SO PROUD OF HOW IT CAME OUT.

Not to be cherik on main but someone give me a modern au where Charles uses the internet to make friends since it’s so difficult to make connections in person. (Does he tell someone immediately that he can read their mind, and that they have no privacy? Does he put himself at risk like that? Or does he not say anything, therefore leading to the person feeling betrayed once he does tell them? There’s no winning.) Over text, he can’t read minds and there’s no pressure to reveal that he’s a mutant.
Except one day he finds a secret forum for mutants. It’s small, by invitation only, and it’s a safe space to make friends. Charles LOVES this place, and I think it wouldn’t take long at all before he became a moderator, interacting with lots of people and getting to hear all kinds of intriguing opinions and backstories. He’s in his element here, getting to have all these new acquaintances and friends, without the weight of his telepathy hanging around.
Enter Erik, who is alone in the world, having lost his parents and truly believing that he must be the only one with these kinds of powers (if they existed, he would have met another in his travels, he’s sure of it). Idk the circumstances of Erik being invited to the page, but he is eventually. And there, he meets ProfX, a man similar in age who enjoys spirited debates with him, who is fascinated by his mutations and encourages him to expand his skills. They get along really, really well, better than Erik ever assumed he would be able to with another person. (They still argue and disagree of course, but it never feels like the end of the relationship when they do. Just two brilliant minds butting against each other.)
Being on this site, maybe you don’t have to prove you’re a mutant, or maybe you just don’t have to make your powers public. And Charles doesn’t make his public. So maybe when Erik is like, I’m going to be in London/NY/wherever, we should meet, Charles... freaks out a little bit! He knows that Erik values his privacy very much, and though Charles wants nothing more than to meet him in person, he can’t just turn his mutation off.
Idk what happens next or how that conversation goes but

One day Noir pulls Peter B. aside and he's like "I've noticed some. Some people. Who are...kissing. in public. Is this normal." And Peter B is like "yeah? I guess this world is less modest than yours," trying not to sound like a dick. And Noir is like "but....I noticed.....men. women. Kissing men. Women. That's not--we can't do that where I come from."
Peter B is like "(fuck) well uhhh do you. I mean. Are you...okay. with the gays." And Noir is like "??? I just don't understand why they're kissing in public. They could get hurt." Peter B tries to explain some and eventually they get to talking about how he and Peter Parker Prime both had MJs, but he'd also had a Gwen Stacy once upon a time. Very briefly. And maybe that's what was in Noir's future?
"No," he shakes his head. "No, I've met my...MJ. but it's not--nothing can come of it."
And it turns out his MJ is one Mr. Jonathan Storm

Obsessed with the idea of Dean making a YouTube channel where he talks about hunting monsters. It’s therapy in a way, venting to a faceless audience who Have to listen to him. It’s also a good resource to have, not just for him but for others too
So the comment section looks like:
Hunters who are thanking him, correcting him, or asking questions
People who stumbled upon it and think this is one of those ARGs like on TikTok and are possibly pretending to be hunters thinking it’s part of the game
People who are legitimately concerned for his mental health because he is no joke talking about killing monsters and sharing traumatic stories about a childhood killing monsters. He either never mentions any friends at all, or none who are alive. He’s just always in dark rooms that feel menacing through the camera. He keeps saying “when I died”???
Idk if this is an AU with a more modern timeline or if he started in 2005 and is just this insane pillar still doing it 15 years later but

Escribí este post en abril / I Wrote This Post in April
Around April 5, 2020:
We won’t be able to put up any videos for a while since we’re in quarantine, so it’s back to the old writing thing. Other than that, being in quarantine doesn’t affect me much—I never leave here anyway! The change I notice most is that I have my beloved here with me all the time, and I’m not complaining about that.
One would think that there would be no worse circumstance to confront a pandemic than when your country is already in crisis due to criminal sanctions and economic warfare, and it’s true. Venezuela has no money, no income, no access to international markets. Inflation is brutal, and our healthcare system has been severely compromised. It’s been like this for years.
On the other hand, there’s no better circumstance to confront a pandemic than when your country is already in crisis due to criminal sanctions and economic warfare, because the government and the people have been building the infrastructure to be able to withstand crises for years. While other countries are paralyzed trying to figure out what to do with millions of people who can’t work and therefore can’t pay the rent, here we already have a subsidized food system that brings staples door to door to 7 million households every month. We already have a system of “bonos”—money given monthly directly to the people so they can afford their necessities despite the induced inflation. We already have strong alliances with countries that offer genuine support like China, Russia and of course Cuba rather than destruction and misery, and secret ways to import necessities despite the international persecution.
But most importantly, we have a government that does everything possible to protect the people. Everything. Here are a few of the measures already taken:
Suspension of rent payments for primary residences and businesses for 6 months.
No firings or layoffs for the rest of the year.
Government pays worker’s salaries for all small and medium-sized non-essential businesses.
Public school students receive daily activities and assignments to do at home. (They have free government-provided computers.)
Every day there is direct communication from government officials—not spokespeople or representatives or aides, but the President, Vice President, or Minister responsible. Every day there’s an in-depth update explaining what has been done, what is being done and what will be done. Every elected official is out in the streets every single day, working. Our president has bags under his eyes like you’ve never seen—he clearly hasn’t slept for days on end. The COVID-19 commission is active 24/7. No one says “that’s not my responsibility,” no one passes the buck, no one disappears. No one talks about sacrificing lives for the sake of the economy.
As far as my personal experience, I’ve never been more grateful to live in the mountains, with some land around me and very low population density. We can go out and work in the garden, with the chickens and all that no worries; only when Daniel goes into town does he have to wear the mask and gloves. This house is, and I use the word as an atheist, an immeasurable blessing.
Speaking of the chickens, I think all 6 are now laying. I say I think because just when we were about to know for sure, we had a huge drop in egg production to one or even none per day. The reason was pretty easy to figure out: it’s the dry season, so the compost piles dried out, and with them the macro and micro fauna that serves as the primary protein source for the hens. (And of course the piles stopped composting, which is also not good.) Protein is, of course, fundamental for egg production. So we’ve had to deal with two issues: how to keep the piles wet and how to get the chickens enough protein while the piles are not at their best.
For the first, we put a plastic barrel in the system that Daniel fills with buckets of water from the stream that runs along the lower border of our property, which is a bitch of a job but he does it. We could bring buckets down from our tank, but we need that water for the house and our garden so it’s better to use another source if possible. We’re planning a small fish pond down there next to the system which will be a good water source, but that’s a medium-term project.
For the second, we have a small worm farm which also houses cute little cockroaches (not the nasty city cockroaches, these are little black critters that burrow in the humus and don’t gross me out) – both of which are outstanding sources of protein. So good that after a few days of feeding the hens a ration of them each day egg production went up again. But we don’t have sufficient quantities of the critters to sustain that, so we’ve expanded the worm farm and fed it well, and now we’re waiting for them to reproduce enough to start using them as a food source again.
We’re also expanding our comfrey and azolla production, but again, we have to wait for them to grow and in the meantime we’re giving the hens termites, which they eat but not as voraciously as I’d like, our kitchen scraps and outer cabbage leaves from the garden, etc., plus we’re having them free range more so they can eat weeds and hunt bugs. Egg production is down to one or none a day again, and we’ll just have to wait. Even more so now that thanks to the economic blockade there’s no gasoline for anyone who isn’t part of an essential service, so we can’t get organic wastes or manures for the compost piles for the foreseeable future. Just when we got the system going, it grinds to a halt due to US war crimes.
Honestly if I live to see the complete annihilation of the USAmerican Empire, I will die happy. But I digress.
Anyway, we’ve learned a lot about what we need to do to keep the hens producing well even when the compost system isn’t running, and we’re getting there. Meanwhile the hens, laying or not, are still happy, so we’re doing ok.

Digital Leadership Portfolio

EDIT
Digital Leadership Portfolio
Sports Marketing & Sponsorship is my course I am currently working in, sponsorship is also a field in which I would like to find employment. The concepts behind this course should help me improve my skills and understanding in the field of sports sponsorships. It is important to be able to examine and research sports organizations and apply problem-solving techniques in order to create a successful brand activation. To become a successful sports marketer, you first have to understand the role of sports sponsorships and the media aspect of getting your sponsors content to your target audience. I want my sponsors to see a measurable accomplishment in the content I am distributing. I feel creating unique content for the sponsor will get the results I need. I also want to know what platforms are a good place to gain exposure for the brand. Creating sponsorship partnerships will be a huge improvement in brand activation for companies with a great product but need exposure. Connecting a sponsor’s logo with the MLB will pull those MLB fans into the sponsors brand as a way to continue loyalty to the MLB.
When I am researching sports organizations and potential sponsors, I keep in mind the type of marketing approach would be the most successful. My approach to marketing, promotions and sponsorship sales would be to gain knowledge about the sports organization and the sponsor and their product or service, I will then apply what I have learned to develop a sports marketing plan for the organization. I also have used the IEG Sponsorship report to access information about how a company operates on the inside when sponsoring sporting events. This bi-weekly publication provides detailed analyses of sponsorship packages. They also list requests for sponsorship proposals. Gathering information about potential sponsors is essential. I also use the Securities and Exchange Commission website to gather data on companies that are public on Wall St. and file annual reports with the SEC. In an article by (Abril, Sanchez, and Recio 2018) they claim, “The purpose of this research was to evaluate empirically, through a company’s stock price, its shareholders’ reaction to the announcement of official sports sponsorships in an international context over a 10-year period.”
Sponsorship accounts for a large part of the sports business industry. The global sports sponsorship market had an estimated value of over 46 billion U.S. dollars in 2018. According to Price Waterhouse Coopers (PwC), the sports sponsorship market is estimated to reach about 49 billion U.S. dollars by 2023. Sponsorship has recorded consistent growth over the last 20 years and consistently exceeds the growth of traditional marketing like advertising and sales promotions. Traditional media, such as newspapers, radio, and T.V. in North America alone is supposed to rise by 2.4% in 2019. It seems obvious corporations have recognized the value sponsorships add to their brand and business portfolio. Sponsorship is creating and sustaining endless jobs in many aspects of the sports industry.
There have been negative areas as well in the sports industry that should be noted to avoid meeting those issues with a sponsorship proposal. Due to recent growth in the sports sponsorship industry, there has also been increasing criticism from fans and the sports media. Some believe the overabundance of sponsorship presence in sporting events is distracting from the purity of the competition, are we attending events to learn about products and brands, or watch a competitive sports game? No doubt the presence of advertising in sports is taking away some of the time we would spend concentrating on the game. To overcome this issue sports marketers may want to inform the consumers and fans that sponsorships play an essential role in offsetting the cost of making the sports fans experience the most enjoyable. (M. Sussman 2015) This article sums it up this way, “It is not enough to just be a “proud sponsor.” Brands need to really tap into the spirit of the sport they are sponsoring and leverage the enthusiasm and loyalty of those sports fans”.
It is clear that professionals working in sports sponsorship today and in the future will have to fight consumer backlash by striking just the right balance between sport and commercialism, maintaining the integrity of competition while sustaining financial viability. So as a professional sports marketer we are not alienating the fun in creating dynamic content for a marketing campaign. Instead, we need to make the content age and gender appropriate with a theme that is cohesive with the sport and the sponsor. Red Bull has clearly aligned with car racing and has created Red Bull events that have proven very successful. (M. Sussman 2015) “Soccer has been consistently, rapidly gaining momentum among the 18- to 29-year-old segment, a key consumer target for Red Bull”.
I also really enjoy problem-solving that I use to develop new proposals. Each sponsorship proposal tier or level has its own formula for success and I have taken in account the many factors that will make my proposals sellable, building around a reasonable budget, precise timing, and reachable objectives. Sometimes we have to restructure a proposal to meet the sponsors budget because we cannot always rely on a sponsor with a huge bankroll. If we learn and understand the market we are proposing and how the fans react to each sports property differently, we can target an audience that will appreciate the sponsor and their brand.
We can target sports properties as well as audiences if we have the data and research to know what sports properties on the rise. For example, the Atlanta Braves who have their spring training at Walt Disney World, have built a new stadium that is amazing. They have a very unique fan base because of this new home. The population of Atlanta has many people who have relocated for job purposes and they like sports but have difficulty rooting for any other team than their home team. In Forbes valuation article (Forbes 2018) the franchise is measuring up, “The Braves first season in SunTrust Park was an unqualified success off the field with attendance up 24%, to 2.5 million, and revenue jumping into the top 10 in MLB”. With this data, a sports marketer can appeal to potential sponsors with numbers like this.
Sponsorship sales is also not an easy concept to fully understand, you need experience and with that will come success and failure. The benefits of sponsorship are often hard to determine and intangible and not something that is always easy or timely to complete. You have to make sacrifices sometimes to be a successful sports marketer. Two qualities or plus’s that I have found to be the most helpful are patience and persistence. Sponsorship deals take time to put together on a sports property’s desired timeline. And they can take much longer to bring it all together, and I am sure many deals fail if either party becomes impatient and cannot wait for a final draft but want the rough draft, some decide to stop pursuing a prospect because they are hard to deal with.
Key Points to Remember about Sports Sponsorship Sales:
Every deal has its own criteria for success, you can’t be to the firm in your approach and you have to do your research to know the needs of your client.
The greatest challenge is finding the right program for a client that fits their budget. Their hopes and expectations don’t always match their budget.
You have to learn the market for your sponsor’s product or service, that is one of the most important steps towards success.
The reason for the failure of people in sports sponsorship sales is usually because they have not prepared properly for the proposal or because they have not been persistent in creating the proposal that fits the sponsor’s needs.
The two most important practices a sports marketer needs are patience and persistence.

Cervical biomechanics
Informational servitude, which most often guides the choice of the topics to be dealt with on amplia-mente.com, makes the former main subject in the Institutes of Forensic Medicine and Forensic Sciences of Spain, which was none other than the state residual of the victims of traffic accidents, has happened to a discreet background in the choice of topic on which to write in the blog.
Today, if we will share a reflection on the assessment of bodily harm. Cervical damage, specifically.
Organic Law 1/2015 of 30 March, amending the Organic Law 10/1995, of 23 November, of the Penal Code; eliminated from the criminal scope the faults before the argued necessity to reduce reduce the judicial workload. The large percentage of assessments of road traffic injuries, most of which caused minor injuries, thus became administrative infractions, and traffic accidents due to slight imprudence were brought to the civil field.
Subsequently, in the same year, Law 35/2015, of September 22, reforming the system for the assessment of damages caused to people in traffic accidents, set an important pillar for the definitive exit of accidents of traffic in the judicial system.
Although this particular must be qualified properly. The vast majority of traffic accidents in Spain’s Courts of Instruction were removed, but not all of the organization dependent on the Ministry or Departments of Justice, as the Institutes of Legal Medicine began with this legislative amendment to assess the consequences of accidents Traffic in an extrajudicial manner. You must also qualify this word. After more than a year of the new Law, one could say that the correct term is “harmful”. The great insurance companies, which we do not deny, are companies that are especially anxious to earn money, end up taking advantage of the recesses of Law 35/2015 to force individuals, in many cases where there are minor injuries, get into the civil jurisdiction with all the expenses that this entails and causing the injured to desist from claiming compensation which in many cases, not at all, of course, would be lawful to receive.
Since then, according to the wording of the new law, the complementary tests acquire a much more important role than they had up to that moment because they grant a degree of objectivity of the nature of a referred symptomatology, such as posttraumatic cervicalgia, lacked.
At this point, we would like to clarify something that unfortunately has been repeated over and over in oral proceedings by practically all insurance companies that frequently adopt the practice of offering a motivated response (therefore denial) to avoid the extrajudicial mediation that entails the commission to report to the Institute of Legal Medicine, since they usually present biomechanical reports that at the modest criteria of whoever writes, in most cases are not biomechanical studies, but practical exams with second-level baccalaureate subjects in the subject physics of those who appear in the test of access to the university in Spain.
Firstly, the unique and exclusive study of biomechanics (which, on the other hand, we do not know the reason why they carry the prefix “bio”) of the vehicles involved, does not test or deny at all an injury to the organic tissues of the neck Of a victim who travels in the vehicle, but does not belong to it. The studies that are being offered by the companies as the universal panacea against the simulation of cervical injuries, only offer the speed differential (the famous delta V) to settle the speed that produced the impact, but the worst of the case, Is that in almost 100% of the cases they do it on the technical file of the vehicles without considering the modifying circumstances of each specific case, such as the load of the vehicle (number of occupants and their respective weights and equipment, luggage load, fuel load), activated brakes or not, victim’s posture, etc. Forensic doctors are physicians, not engineers, but given the previous academic background that must be spent to study the medical career, we can affirm that there are many variables that are not being evaluated in those mechanical studies based exclusively on the technical file of vehicles and should be studied to provide data with a minimum of rigor. I can assure you that the data being offered by these studies were part of the physics exams that the amplia-mente.com editors had to do in second BUP when we studied Newton’s Laws back in the early 1980s. twentieth century. That’s not a biomechanical study.
Revista Española de Medicina Legal, in its online advance, offers an illustrative and interesting article titled: Vivas Broseta MJ, et al. Usefulness of biomechanical assessment in determining post-traumatic neck pain sequelae. Rev Esp Med Legal. 2017. We do not intend to over-advance the content of the article despite the fact that the authors themselves claim to have partially submitted the content in several congresses and conferences. Those who have a subscription, do not miss it and those people who do not have it, but have a relationship with the subject, believe me, they will be worth the economic expense in the article.
We advance to them, the authors conclude that biomechanical tests (lesion biomechanics, not physical exercises on Newton’s laws that are being tried) are useful in the study of minor cervical spine injuries (assessed by forensic physicians and in Actual conditions of application) and that therefore the results obtained in the final expert conclusions in the cases in which they have been applied have been taken into account.
Perhaps and as a conclusion to the present reflection, it would be time for government officials, if it has certainly been the interest to adapt the Spanish legislation to the European and also the interest in decongesting the Criminal Justice or ultimately, the interest of The Spanish citizens against the interests of UNESPA (Spanish Union of Insurance and Reinsurance Entities); The provision of the necessary equipment in the Institutes of Forensic Medicine and Forensic Sciences for the realization of this type of studies should be considered, since an economic amount is being entered for the execution of these extrajudicial experts. No extra budgetary expenditure is requested, but it is requested that the benefits obtained with the collection of extrajudicial experts, revert to the body that generates it and is in charge of arriving at the truth of the injuries caused in traffic accidents.
Have a good weekend.

Cuba and Venezuela: And God Created Them…
Cuba and Venezuela: And God Created Them… / Cubanet, René Gómez Manzano Cubanet, René Gómez Manzano, Havana, 5 Abril 2017 — In recent days, the absence of a true rule of law has become evident in the two countries of "Socialism of the 21st Century," an absence that reached the highest levels of arbitrariness and injustice: Cuba and Venezuela. In the second of these the iniquity took place at the highest level, the Constitutional Chamber of the Supreme Court. The brand new Chavista magistrates ruled: "As long as the contempt and invalidity of the proceedings of the National Assembly persist, this Chamber will ensure that the parliamentary powers are exercised directly by this Chamber or by the body that it designates." In short, the court replaced the parliament with itself. And in passing, the High Court also withdrew immunity from the country's parliamentary deputies. It was a coup d'etat pure and simple; only not one undertaken by the military or the congressional branch, but by the judicial. Of course, it didn't happen on the judges' own initiatve, but because Maduro ordered it, because it is already known that the supposed independence of that power is now a fiction in the homeland of the "Liberator," Simon Bolivar. The voices of protest did not hold back: in Venezuela, National Assembly President Julio Borges called the shameful ruling "trash" and ripped it up in front of the television cameras. The protests of students and others who disagree began. At the international level, the Permanent Council of the Organization of American States was convened, and Peru withdrew its ambassador from Caracas. Even complacent the mediators Torrijos, Fernandez and Rodríguez Zapatero rejected the gross maneuver. But not only democracy supporters weighed in. A character as little suspected of being anti-Chavez as the Venezuelan Attorney General Luisa Ortega (yes, the same person labeled the "Eternal Commander" as "the most humanist man that has ever existed on the planet" and totally supported the unjust imprisonment of Leopoldo López) described what happened in his country as a "rupture of the constitutional order." Urgently convened, the Venezuelan Defense Council called on the Supreme Court to "review" the statements that left Parliament without functions. The obedient magistrates, in a fulminating manner, applied "what I meant to say was…" In Cuba, on the other hand, recent illegality had a lower level, in both directions of the word. Lady in White Lismerys Quintana Ávila, also urgently, was subjected to a spurious trial and sentenced to six months in prison — the maximum allowed penalty — by a docile Municipal Court. As a precedent for this injustice, we must remember the new trick that the political police use against these admirable women: At the outset, they impose a fine for a misdemeanor that does not exist. After the refusal to pay the illegally imposed penalty, the defendant (in this case, Lismerys) is taken to a Municipal Court to be tried. Now the offense charged is "breach of obligations arising from the commission of misdemeanor," and is provided for in article 170 of the current Penal Code.Under this provision, "anyone who fails to comply with the obligations arising from a resolution that has exhausted its legal process, issued by a competent authority or official, relating to contraventions" may be punished. According to the final sentence of that rule, "if before the sentence is pronounced, the accused meets the obligations derived from that resolution, the proceedings will be archived." The purpose of this, obviously, was not to establish a mechanism to send one more person to prison, but to dissuade her from not paying the imposed pecuniary penalty. But it is already known that, in Cuba, "whoever made the law, set the trap." In the case of someone who disagrees and says so, any misrepresentation of the correct sense of the rules is valid for the Castro regime's authorities. What real chance to pay the fine had Lismerys or her loved ones if she were detained and the latter did not know what her situation was? We know that the repressor who "cared for her" (who calls himself "Luisito", but whose real name is known (unusual in itself) — Ariel Arnau Grillette) was truthful in the text messages with which he harassed this Cuban mother. We know what they said thanks to the inventiveness of the brave fighter Angel Moya Acosta: "the desicion to send you to prision is in my hands," he wrote. A phrase in which we do not know what to admire more: his creative spelling or the confidence with which he says what everyone knows, but usually shuts up about … However, what is decisive in this case is not what the murky State Security intended, but the submission of a court to the design of that repressive body. This is how the "organs of justice" of Cuba and Venezuela, once again, have become brothers in ignominy. Commission for the ever lovely @i-did-not-mean-to . A modern Maedhros, no sads, all sweets ✨✨✨ This was actually super soothing to draw so thanks for that. We all need a happy Maedhros in a big fluffy sweater once in a while 🙏🏼
And for those who are wondering, the things on his head are christmas ornaments, I had someone not understand what was going on there (,:

Get Down Here
Elu Thingol l Elwë Singollo & Finwë (Tolkien universe)
Commission made for @i-did-not-mean-to who I love and they are always so great when ic comes to e making art for them I could cry 😭.
To be fair, I think I DID infect her with my love for Thingol and Finwë friendship, which this is very ambiguously a "Are they friends? Are they more? It's probably both to be honest." kind of situation 😌 I'm not mad at all.
This is after they're reborn and all is well again :D Hopefully.
Finwë is tall, but Thingol is so much taller 👁

Samwise Gamgee & Frodo Baggins (Tolkien Universe)
Commissioned by @rosasynstylae for @tolkienpinupcalendar this was FUN to do (brainstorming was a trip, thanks Rose hehe.) I always say I need to work more with gouache when I do use and then I just DON'T do anything with it for months to come 😂
The event is FULL of wonderful art, artists and writers! Totally check it out if you're in the mood for something spicy 🤭

The Sharp Sent Of Mint
Yin & Fajar (Sifu)
Was that mint? She took several breaths of it. Gradually, her head cleared, and the cacophony of noise and images faded away. She was in Fajar’s room. It was quiet here. And green. “Hm,” Fajar hummed, drawing her attention. You alright? he signed. “Yeah, I – I’m fine,” Yin said distantly. “I’m okay.” Looked like you were going to faint. Fajar squeezed her arms briefly. Yin winced, but the ache brought her closer down to earth. “It’s fine,” she said, rubbing her forehead. “It hasn’t happened in a long time.” She lowered her hand to her lap and felt the tickle of leaves against her fingers. Mint grew around her crossed legs, rising up past her elbows and brushing against her shoulders. The cooling aroma soothed her like a fresh breeze after a hot day. CH. 9 -- Potted Orchard The Path To Wude by ArlenianChronicles
Commission done for my good friend (and cross fandom contamination expert) @arlenianchronicles / @arleniansdoodles of her WONDERFUL story The Path To Wude (which, even if you've never played the video game or know little about it like me, it's still such a GREAT read. So, super recommended if you ARE looking for something to read. Lots of good angst, familial dynamics and KUNG FU.
I'm still doing commissions if anyone's interested 😁 there's a small waiting list tho. Just be warned.

Irmo In The Garden
Irmo Lorien (Tolkien Universe)
Commission I made for the super lovely @i-did-not-mean-too of our lord and dream saviour Irmo 🙏🏼 . I hard this is a surprise for someone else so I hop they enjoy it too :D
It is genuinely such a joy working with IDNMT because, aside the magnificence of being allowed 98% creative liberties, their enthusiasm lets the art flourish into beauty (sh*t that was efing sappy, I'm going to stop now).
But like, yeah, i'm actually pretty proud of how this came out.
