I like to make jokes about shen qingqiu seeing binghe hugging his corpse and deciding to fuck that man to qi deviation, but when I think about the emotions communicated in that moment it's so much more. shen qingqiu just got insight into a moment he wasn't around for, when binghe was grieving him so terribly, when binghe still didn't have answers for sqq's actions, when he kept reenacting a moment of nonsexual physical intimacy that left such a profound effect on his psyche

and shen qingqiu obviously can't change what happened in the past, but what he can do upon waking up is kiss binghe, press his hand to his beating heart, affirm (out loud!! a big deal for shen qingqiu!!!) that he wants him -- communicating with his actions that "I was gone then, but I'm here now, I'm alive, I won't be leaving, I love you and want you even when it hurts"

and then they need to do it again. not because Eggman asked them, but to protect the people and world they were taught to conquer. and Amy tells them it'll be different this time. but theyve never had a good relationship witht the chaos emeralds. and then they do it and its soooooooo so different from everything theyd experience before. its joyous, its warm... they feel so happy and so confident but they feel Powerful too. and when they come down from the high of being Super Silver and Super Shadow, they still feel the hope and joy from it all. its just so different from everythign they ever felt and were told with eggman.

Meanwhile Egghog Sonic is digging himself deeper and deeper and finding more and more hate and anger to fuel his Dark transformation. SAD

Why does The Light cause me physical pain and feelings of sickness when it's daytime, but not night time I've been working all day on this freelance and when it was daylight, i had all the curtains closed, lights off, brightness at the lowest setting on all devices, yet it still felt like The Light was doing irl damage to my body Now it's 10pm. Devices are at 70% brightness and the overhead light is on. I feel fucking dandy.
