U BETTER STOP RIGHT NOW ANON. I’m so flattered that I’m one of your favs 🥰 that boosts my confidence in my writing soooo much you have no idea. I’m definitely not skipping over a bunch of requests just to write yours first nope not I. So I wrote smthng about Keith and reader being stuck on a planet during a mission and needing rescue and them having a cute bonding moment. Listen…Pidge’s calculations may have been the tiniest bit off. You were sent on a mission with them to pick up a specific mineral on a specific planet that will power a new invention Pidge is working on. As their lion approached the surface of the planet, some weird energy source nearby had all of Pidge’s signals glitching out. All of a sudden, the green lion completely shut down and you two had a bit of a crash landing. Now…You’re lost. In space. No way to get back, no way to contact the team. And if Pidge can’t figure out how to get y’all back to the castle, you definitely can’t. Obvi they’re like 1000 times smarter than you.

“Dang…well…we’re stuck here now.” Their words make you panic a bit. Stuck? Geez, for how long? Until when? Wait…Stuck?! In the middle of space all alone???

“Someone will find us eventually.” “You’re not helping, Pidge…”

They’re trying to hide their smile as they silently laugh at you. “First time stuck in space?” “Uhm YEAH?! IM SCARED! YOU’RE NOT???” “Nah.”

Pidge has been there, done that with being lost in space alone. It’s scary but it’s amazing at the same time. Like when Pidge got stuck on that trash nebula, they weren’t scared, just bored until they found a way to distract themselves and eventually get a signal to the team. They just need time to figure it out.

Before you can say any more, they are closing their helmet over their face and offering you a hand. “Let’s go.” They close your helmet over your face and now they’re enthusiastically dragging you out of green and onto the dusty surface of the planet.

Pidge is very smart but also has some ADHD tendencies. This lil babe will squirrel out and go buck wild when it comes to science, technology and space. They can’t stay focused on the topic at hand, there’s too much to look at, too much to think about, too much to talk about.

They are still holding your hand, pulling you along as they ramble on about the pH balance of the air on this planet and the gravity difference compared to Earth and how cool the specific mineral is that they are looking for. Wow, cute little smarty pants just won’t shut up 💚

Plz just pay attention to them. They LOVE the attention they get from you when they say big words and explain complex things you don’t really understand because,

The face you make when you try to follow along with their science rants KILLS THEM. You’re like 😯 trying your best to keep up, it’s too cute.

They love when you say things like “wow” “whoa” “cool” bc then they’re like 😎 “yeah I am pretty wow, whoa and cool, aren’t I?”

Like plz just swoon over their brilliance, that’s all they want. They want to impress you SO BAD. Little do they know they’ve already captured your heart…

So anyways, they are practically running now with you following beside them as they frantically search for the mineral they need.

A beeping catches their attention and they stop abruptly. An excited laugh leaves their mouth as they check a piece of tech on their wrist, similar to a watch but with info about the planet and atmosphere around you.

Pidge is always busting out new gadgets they’ve made and it still surprises you sometimes. “Pidge, what the hell is that?” is a very common phrase that frequently leaves your mouth. They’re always testing out new tech.

“AHAHA!!! (Y/N), guess what?! This whole planet’s crust is the mineral!!! WE CAN GET SO MUCH OF IT!!! Obviously not too much, but OH MY GOD!”

Omfg, now it’s your turn to admire how cute they are when they geek out like this. They’re pretty much jumping with joy, smiling from ear to ear, and they still have a hold of your hand.

They always run to the same two people every time they have some cool sciency shit to tell and that’s Hunk and you. As much fun as it is to go on a tangent with Hunk about cool space stuff, they love talking to you about it bc you don’t interject, you just listen and learn.

Their fav part is days later when you mention something they told you about in great detail and they’re just thinking ‘oh my god, you remembered, you learned, you’re so smart. DAMN I ADORE YOU.’

At this point, Pidge is having such a good time with you, they’ve forgotten that you’re both stranded here. They’re holding your hands and you’re smiling so big now and suddenly they can’t come up with words to say rn.

“So…are you gonna tell me how we are gonna harvest some of this stuff or…?” The silence is so loud but Pidge can’t speak, they’re just lost in your eyes and your hand fits so perfectly in theirs and the longer they stare at you, the more red your cheeks become and- “Pidge…are you okay?” Finally, they snap out of it.

This honestly happens way too often with you. Pidge never thought they’d be the type to zone out and start daydreaming about someone but they are just soooo into you, oml. They’re always so focused and in control and calm and collected but you’re just too hot cute, you are such a distraction. They can’t believe that you are so interested in them, it clouds their brain sometimes. They know a lot but one thing they can’t figure out is where they stand with you.

“I’m fine. First things first, we need some help getting off this planet. We need to figure out how to contact the team.”

Just keep in mind… they haven’t let go of you for even a second since you walked out of their lion together 🥹❤️‍🔥

“Hey, what about your watch thingy on your wrist? Couldn’t that help-“ “(Y/N), yes! I forgot about this for a tick! Okay, come on. Give me something to work with….” Finally, they let go of your hand as they poke at the piece of tech on their wrist, their eyes become brighter and wider.

They swiftly pull out their bayard and launch it towards their lion, perfectly wrapping it around their lion’s tail.

“Uhm what are we doing?” “We need to get off this planet.” “WHAT?! I mean I know that, you already said that but-but…how are we gonna do that? Your lion is-“ “Just trust me.” They reach out for your hand once more, the handle of their bayard in their other hand.

They grip your hand tightly and before you can take another breath, they activate their jet pack and you two are whisked away towards the sky.

You’re screaming and Pidge is laughing. They’re such a punk sometimes.

As their bayard reaches its limit in length, Pidge is still grasping your hand tightly as they finally begin to explain just what their plan is.

“The crust of this planet, which is also the mineral we need, is what’s causing interference with all our tech. Except for this, I guess.” They gesture to their wrist. “The further we get away from the surface, the more chance we have at getting a signal to the team. But, the gravitational pull of this planet only goes on for 4.7 miles, which is like waaayyyyy less than Earth’s gravitational pull so I had to keep us tethered or we’d just float off into space.”

Normally you’d find their ranting interesting and endearing but rn you’re just terrified of being this high up from the ground and also terrified of accidentally floating off into space.

They can tell you’re scared so they quickly let go of your hand and link their arm with yours, pulling you in closer. They’re not laughing anymore, they give you a more serious look with a soft smile. “I got you, (Y/N). I won’t let anything happen to you. Promise.”

Although they are the smallest Paladin to ever exist, you make them feel so big and strong. You make them feel like they could fight 100 galra soldiers all on their own. You give them so much confidence and they just want you to trust that they will always protect you. Tho they be small, they are mighty.

“I trust you, Pidge.” Great…you’ve lost them again. All you did was say their name all soft and quiet and they can’t look away from you now.

The lingering eye contact is simple but causes you both to smile and blush uncontrollably. You both look away then look back at each other, your movements in sync which causes you both to laugh.

“You’re really cute. I like you a lot.” The words just sort of slip out of their mouth and before you can even process what they just said, as if on cue, static cuts the silence.

Suddenly, you can hear Allura calling out for you guys through the comms in Pidge’s helmet. “Pidge? (Y/N)? Hello?” “Allura! Geez, are we glad to hear your voice.”

As Pidge gives the princess a run down of what had happened to you guys, you just watch their lips move and watch as they purposefully avoid your gaze. They’re embarrassed of what they just confessed to you and now they’re anxious to hear your reply.

Once the voice in Pidge’s helmet had gone quiet, you finally speak up.

“You like me?” “Huh? Did I say that?” “Yeah, you did. You said I’m cute too.” “Oh wow…uh yeah…I guess I did say that.”

It’s silent again for a moment.

“Do you like me too?” Pidge asks softly now, their whole demeanor has changed. They’re not holding you as close, they’re eyes look full of concern, they’re biting their lip.

“I thought you were a genius..?” They’re a bit taken aback by your response. “It’s not like I haven’t been dropping hints left and right. Of course I like you, Pidge. And I think you’re pretty cute too.”

The next 10 minutes as you two wait for rescue are spent talking and laughing about how you two dummies have been crushing on each other for MONTHS but you were both too scared to say anything to the other.

As soon as y’all are rescued by Shiro and Hunk, they’re both like “oh! You guys finally noticed that you’re both in love with each other? Good. Nice. Took y’all long enough.”

The whole team could see the hardcore pining the whole time. Even Keith was like “I thought y’all were already dating???”

You had been running around with the group all day

(except Bakugo- he either went to the lazy river or the surfing simulator thignie cause Kaminari said he would wipe out and wanted to prove him wrong)

Everybody else wanted to do everythingggg, from ride the craziest rides to trying all the food the park had

By the end of the day, you were completely beat and just wanted to rest

Mina was sitting beside you in  the cabana (again, thank you radio station for hooking some teens up!), just searching it for snacks the boys hadnt eaten

“Aww cmon, really?! We have chapstick but no food?!”

Your head instantly perked up at the sound- chapstick? God, you could deifnitely use some right now from all that chlorine and sun...

You asked Mina to toss you one, the pink skinned girl throwing you a tube as she grumbled about how “piggy” boys were

He was starting to overheat, his breathe coming out in low pants as  strands  of hair began sticking to his forehead

You felt one of his palms begin to slip ever so slightly near you, and on instinct you knew you had to do something, you finally had an opening-

CHILE ANYWAYS....on with it

Tenya sat on the large grey couch in the living room of your new home. The television was turned on to the news station, the volume down to almost silent as he looked from the television screen where a story about Midoriya was playing down to the small white blanket that sat in his arms. Tenya smiled, carefully running a finger over one of the baby’s soft tan chubby cheeks as the little one let out a small gurgle, moving closer to his father’s touch. His usually serious gaze then turned to look at you, as you snuggled into his side the both of you watching your tiny baby sleep. You were in one of Tenya’s large sweatshirts and a pair of sweatpants, the warmth and the faint smell of his cologne were comforting. 

It had been two weeks since you had given birth to your baby, a son you decided to name Tenzen. When you had told your husband that you wanted to use the first syllable of his name for your son’s, he almost started crying out of pride. And now he couldn’t wait to show you both off to his friends, unbelievably proud of you for your strength and for bringing your son into the world. The small baby began growing fussy, opening his eyes to reveal dark blueish grey eyes, just like his father’s. “Don’t cry Tenzen-kun. What’s wrong?” Iida asked softly, his eyes quickly searching over the baby to analyze the problem. “Are you hungry?”

“He can’t be yet, he ate like 15 minutes ago.” You added, “maybe he needs to be changed?” Tenya lifted the small baby, his face quickly morphing into a frown. 

“He needs to be changed.” Iida agreed. “I’ll take care of it.” You let out a sigh, even though it had been two weeks, your body was still tired and you couldn’t help but love how hands on your husband was because it gave you time to rest. 

“I’m going to jump in the shower.” You said, passing the nursery on your way to your master bedroom to freshen up before your friends came over. After your shower, you pulled on a simple long sleeve t-shirt and a pair of leggings stopping to look at yourself in the mirror. 

Your body had changed some since you had been a student at UA and even since before you had had your son. Though you had never been a stick, at least that’s what Tenya called it, you hadn’t really been self conscious about it until now. Though Tenya constantly told you that you were beautiful and he didn’t want a twig for a wife. Sometimes he would absentmindedly trace your stretch marks as if they were tattoos, telling you that he loved each and every single of them because they made you you. You stepped away from the mirror, reminding yourself that you were a BEAUTIFUL STRONG BLACK WOMAN and a queen and anyone who said otherwise was stupid as fuck,  before returning back to the living room. 

“I hope you continue to be a good boy for your mother. She’s an amazing woman, you know. She’s one of the kindest and strongest people I know, you and I both got very lucky and she’s obviously the most beautiful woman, I’ve ever met. I hope your personality is like hers.” You stopped in the hallway, hearing Tenya talk to your son. “Anyways, a lot of people are very excited to meet you, Tenzen, that’s why I put you in your favorite outfit.” He said. You knew that the supposed ‘favorite outfit’ was actually a black baby onesie with a cartoon Ingenium on the front, you had gotten it as a joke...apparently not so much of a joke anymore.  You walked into the room from your spot in the hallway as the doorbell rang, Iida handing you your son who made little gurgling and cooing noises as he latched onto one of your fingers with one of his tiny hands. 

“Tenya! (y/n)! You had the baby!” Mina rushed in excitedly, Bakugou, Denki, Kirishima, Midoriya, Todoroki, Tsuyu, and Uraraka walked in afterwards, Jirou being out of town visiting some relatives. After you had transferred to UA in 2nd year, you had been accepted into the Bakusquad while he had been in the Dekusquad. 

“Hey Mina.” You smiled widely, happy to see your friends as Tenzen started to grow fussy at the loud noise, standing up to hug one of your best friends as the baby gave her a judgemental stare. 

“He’s so cute!” Uraraka, Mina, and Tsuyu cooed as they gathered around, eager to watch the little baby in your arms. 

“Do you want to hold him?” You asked as they all nodded quickly. You laughed, passing Tenzen to Mina as everyone sat around the room, talking and laughing. 

“He doesn’t even look like you, Dumbass.” Bakugou remarked, holding the little boy, hiding his smile as your son grabbed his finger. “Tch, he’s cute or whatever.” Bakugou admitted before passing him to Kirishima and Denki, a proud smile on both you and Tenya’s faces. 

Bakugou hadn’t been wrong. Your son had gotten most of his looks from his father, sharing the same eye color and shape and same smile among other things. While he had gotten his lips and hair type from you. His skin  tone was a shade or two lighter than yours and his hair was one shade of blue lighter than his father’s.

“He obviously likes me the most. I’m his favorite uncle, I already know it.” Kirishima beamed watching as the little baby seemed to smile up at him. 

“That’s fucking dumb and you know it, Shitty hair. It’s obvious it isn’t any of you.” Bakugou replied, rolling his crimson eyes and eyeing the baby. He didn’t mind holding your son, Hope he isn’t as much of a narc as his dad. Bakugou thought.

“Watch your language in front of my son!” Iida scolded, shooting an icy glare at the hothead who simply tched. 

You laughed observing everyone from where you sat, happy that your best friends had met your little boy and he hadn’t peed or thrown up on them...yet.

- wilbur (cat regressor!! also very relaxed, he *will* just sleep on phil or techno's lap for hours on end. mostly nonverbal, but will meow every now nd again. mostly communicates through actions. he can purr. doesn't drop often, but when he does, it's due to extreme stress- meaning he can be pretty sensitive while he's in catspace.)

- tubbo (puppy regressor, but definitely more of a relaxed dog aside from the amnt he communicates, especially through barking, whimpering, and soft "awooo!!"'s. loves snuggles. sometimes, he's scared to come of as annoying, so he's hesitant to slip into pupspace, normally needing someone to help him along and tell him that it's ok for him to be a puppy, nd that he's a very very good boy.)

- karl (kitten regressor!!!! he's either really sleepy or really playful/energetic, and he has no in between on that. he meows.. so much.. all he kno is meow meow!! *very* sensitive while dropped, and as such, he needs a lot of validation and love. will get extremely upset with himself if he notices that anyone is even *slightly* mad/irritated by him.)

- nick (sapnap) (PUPPY REGRESSOR 100000%!!! he's very very loud and extremely playful!!! he can be entertained for *hours* w literally anything, especially toys like chew bones. doesn't really drop too often, but when he does, he drops very very far. something that can trigger his drops is when people compare his traits/actions to those of a dog because he just goes yes!! yes me!!!! dog!!! me!!!! also he loves karl *so* much because karl absolutely spoils him rotten when he's in pupspace.)

- ranboo (kitty regressor!! similar to karl, he can be really sensitive while he's dropped. entirely nonverbal, opting for actions instead. he's a mix of both playful and sleepy. when he sleeps, he curls his entire body up into a circle nd kneads at whatever he's sleeping on until he falls asleep.)

- dream (cat regressor!! sleeps a lot when he's dropped, hes just vv tired. mimics patches, and loves to follow her around/act like she does. even bases his catgear around patches, with tabby-colored cat ears and an outfit based off of similar colors. drops very easily, mostly voluntarily.)

OKAY I’M GONNA GO THROUGH THESE ONE BY ONE, AND SHARE MY THOUGHTS+OTHER POSSIBLE HCS/FIC SCENARIOS, SO LONG POST WARNING Y’ALL

1. Cat Regressor! Wilbur

yes yes yes, I wouldn’t of thought of it myself but the idea is absolutely adorable! I’d totally write that, with like handler/cg!niki in addition to those you listed. And the idea of him using it for stress and therefore being sensitive in catspace? like, that’s amazing. 

I could imagine a fic where someone pushes him to regress for fun for once, but he feels like it’s stupid to purposely act like a cat when he doesn’t need it? They don’t pressure him, or anything, but he ends up slipping because he feels safe. and he realizes not only does it help with stress, but it just makes him more happy!

also imagine him slipping around tommy for whatever reason, and just wanting to sleep while Tommy’s trying to do something fun. So he’s dragging around a sleepy kitten and waking him up every two seconds, and it’s really soft and adorable and ends up with Wilbur sleeping somewhat on Tommy so that he can’t get up and he’s like ‘you’re so lucky I love you, dude.’ awww I need to write a fic- no promises but y’know

2.Puppy Regressor!Tubbo

someone actually requested a puppy regressors!tubbo and tommy fic that I’m having trouble writing, like it sounds cute but it’s kinda hard bc I’ve never written puppyspace before. I actually decided to start over but I’ma keep trying on that. 

anyways, imagine like, Ranboo or Tommy helping him slip over a discord call! Needing help to regress is something that I understand (I age regress, but I haven’t in a while due to this issue), so I could probably write Tubbo in that position well. Needing to be coaxed and told that it’s okay to be a cute lil puppy, like that’s adorable! 

3. Kitten Regressor!Karl

tbh I tried to write kitten!karl but I was half asleep and gave up, I need to get back to that hjsiksja. Like I specialize in writing sensitive regressors w/anxiety over someone being mad at them, so I could definitely pull this off. 

and the idea of him being a talkative kitty is sooo cute! Like I can imagine something along the lines of this conversation between him and a handler/cg:

“What do you want?”

“Meowww”

“I don’t know what that means!”

“Meow?” (little head tilt and innocent cute eyes)

“Do you want cuddles?”

*excited meows! and he goes and cuddles up in their lap bc yay, they understood him!*

4. Puppy Regressor! Sapnap

okay okay so I don’t watch sapnap really but this is still adorable! Like the whole ‘me, puppy? yes.’ thing is soooo cute! Imagine George or Dream just forgetting that’s a trigger and making a joke about how one of his mannerisms reminds them of a puppy and suddenly! There’s a puppy to take care of!

and karl spoiling him sounds like something he’d do hjsiksjsa. I can’t really add much on here bc idk much about him/his content past the smp but this is so cute! Maybe I’ll watch a few of his videos and attempt writing him bc I keep getting requests for him

5. Kitten Regressor! Ranboo

yes, I was already thinking about this tbh! Like I’ve written him as a little and it’s kinda similar, he’s sensitive, and he’s less verbal the littler he gets. As a kitten, I can easily picture him just being quiet. 

I imagine that he’s really pouty because of this, because he doesn’t know how to communicate otherwise, so this might confuse anyone who may take care of him. 

“Why are you pouting? Do you want cuddles? Food? Do you wanna play?” 

and he just doesn’t reply bc he’s a kitten and he can’t talk so it’s an endless cycle of guess and check until they reach the right answer, and it’s really funny to watch. I can also imagine that he giggles a lot. Like he’s not verbal or anything, and he doesn’t giggle a lot but sometimes it happens! and if you make him giggle while in kittenspace then you did something right!

it makes everyone happy when he giggles and it’s really soft and cute! I definitely think I’ll write a fic with kitten!ranboo in it, at some point eventually, I think! 

6. Cat Regressor! Dream

awwwww- I didn’t even consider the possibility of this but awwww. Imagine Wilbur and Dream in catspace together, just sleeping and cuddling while basically all the other kittens are playing and being hyper. And everyone’s trying to get them to play but they’re sleepy! (ofc they end up playing anyways bc their friends are adorable and convincing but y’know)

and I really like the idea of him mimicking patches! I’ve seen a few pet regresors say that they mimick/copy their pets so it kinda feels realistic and likely! and plus, it’s really cute. 

and since his regression is voluntary, I can imagine him like one minute, just chillin w/george and sapnap and going ‘what if- what if I just went *cat mode*’ and he tries to hint to his friends that he wants to slip but they’re not getting it so it’s kinda frustrating for him but funny for the readers to see play out bc George and Sapnap are being completely oblivious to everything. Hjsiksja that’d be funny

A/N: Soooo, I got a little carried away and turned this into a one-shot (probably). I was bored and I loooooved your request. So thank you and I hope you enjoy it.

"So, what are you guys doing for Halloween?" You were having a nice evening with the boys at the pub, and thinking that maybe you could do that again soon.

"Horror movie marathon!" Harry cheered. "Starts at sunset and goes all the way to sunrise."

"It's our little tradition." Sam added. “We dress up in Halloween themed pajamas or a comfortable costume.”

"Harry picks the movies and we all watch it together." Tuwaine explained a little bit more.  “Then we sleep for the rest of November 1st because we’re tired.”

"You should come this year." Tom asked and all the boys nodded in agreement.

You really wanted to say yes. Ever since you became a part of their little group, you were comfortable and you wanted to spend some more time with them. Plus, you had a massive crush on Harrison and even though he always gives you the signal that he likes you too, you've never even kissed once.

And you really wanted to spend some time with him, because you always longed for those small moments together. But you hated scary because you were terrified of them. Although, you would never admit it to anyone.

"Oh, thank you for the offer but I don't wanna be a burden."

"Come on, it will be fun." Harrison nudged your side and smiled softly. "I would love to have you there." 

All the boys smirked with your little interaction, which made you blush a little and lower your sight to your drink. You took a big gulp before replying:

"Okay, sure. It will be nice."

But if you were being honest, everything was building your nerves up since that night at the pub. Not only the fact that you were going to watch horror movies, but also the fact that you would be spending the whole night at Harrison's house. It didn't matter if a whole bunch of other people would tag along, it still felt intimate.

So you put up your best Halloween themed outfit when you dressed up with your skeleton pajama jumpsuit. You did want to feel comfortable, but you also wanted to look cool. And that was a good way to do that. When the sun was starting to set, you drove to the boy’s place and found the driveway decorated with carved pumpkins and tombstones. The boys really put some effort into the decoration.

You knocked on the door and Harrison opened it up dressed as Freddy Krueger, but with sweatpants. He was holding a bowl of candy and a weird smile on his face, which softened when he saw who it was. He thought it would be just some kids from the neighbourhood asking for candy, but it was actually you - the girl he was in love with.

“Trick or treat!” You said with an exciting smile on your face.

“Hey, (Y/N). Happy Halloween.” 

“Thanks.” 

“Please, come in!”

You were the last to arrive. Well, to be fair, Tom, Harrison, Harry and Tuwaine lived in that house and Sam lived just a little further down the road, so it was only fair that they arrived early. But Sam’s girlfriend was already wrapped around him as they chose the best position to cuddle into the movie, and all the boys were already groaning because the girls they invited said they would not be coming.

“Yeah, whatever. Let’s just start this thing.” Harry shrugged as he pressed play on the movie.

“Uhm, sorry. They are a bit boring today.” Harrison whispered since A Nightmare Before Christmas was already playing on the TV. “There’s no place left on the big couch, but I guess we can squeeze in the two-seat couch.”

“It’s okay for me.”

“Come on, I got us a pumpkin blanket.”

Spending time with Harrison was awesome, and this was probably the closest you’ve ever been to the boy. He made sure to share a blanket with you as you watched the first movie. He shared his popcorn and even invited you to give some candy to the kids that were knocking on the door. By now, the movie night was going pretty well because the movie wasn’t scary at all.

But the next movie on the list was The Ring and you were terrified of it. You tried to hide it from everyone, but eventually, you would wince and jump scared of what you were watching. Once you even hide your face on Harrison’s shoulder after a little scream.

“Hey, are you okay?” He whispered and you shook your head, still not looking at the TV. “Oh, you’re scared.”

“A little.” You groaned and felt the boy wrap his arms around you.

“It’s okay, I got you.” You felt comfortable and safe with him, so you melted into his hug. 

“Harrison is showing off as a protective boyfriend, y’all.” Harry teased and the boys all laugh.

“What a tough boy.” Tuwaine tease. “I want a hug too, Hazzy. I’m scared.”

“Come on, just kiss already.” Tom teased and all the boys agreed.

“Hey, fuck off! She’s scared.” Harrison pressed her a little tighter on his chest and threw daggers with his eyes at the boys.

For the rest of the night, you were secured with him. The other movies weren’t so scaring with him holding you. When you were feeling afraid, you would grip on his hand tightly and he would distract you. And it was actually very comfortable. On the third movie, he spent the whole thing petting your hair and listening to some other jokes from the boys. And on the fourth movie, you lied your head on his shoulder and played with his hand.

By the time it was 4 am, you were starting to get a little sleepy. The boys were still hyped with Monster House -  lighter movie after a few very scary movies - but you were definitely fancying some sleep. Also, you were a little cold, so you sneaked off to the kitchen to make yourself some tea.

“Come on, Harrison. Go kiss her!” Tom whispered once you were off and Harrison rolled his eyes.

“Just leave us alone.”

“Haz, she’s so into you. The way she looks at you…” Tuwaine said and a small smile cracked on the blonde’s face.

“And you’ve been holding each other all night.” Sam finished.

“Just go ask her to stay the night with you.” Harry finished. Harrison suddenly had a wave of confidence hitting his body and he smiled widely.

“I’ll go after her.” He whispered and the boys silently cheered.

He found you in the kitchen, pouring hot tea in a cup. You smiled warmly to see him and made sure to pour another one for him because you knew he was a sucker for tea and wouldn’t deny some. He silently thanked for the tea and sat next to you.

“Thank you for making my night a little better, Haz.” You nudged him. “I’m very scared of horror movies and I’m thankful to have someone to help me feel a little better.”

“It’s nothing. I’ll always make you feel safe if I can.” He smiled warmly back. “Uhm, I like you, (Y/N). I like you a lot. And tonight’s been pretty amazing.”

“I like you too, Hazzy. A lot.” He put a stray of your hair behind your ear and licked his lips.

“C-can I kiss you?”

“Yes.” You smiled before feeling his lips against yours.

The kiss brought a little sweetness to this scary Halloween night. You were tired, but you were willing to stay awake until the sunrise just kissing him. It didn’t last long, but it was a perfect first kiss, and you felt like it wasn’t going to be the last of the night.

“Are you tired?” He asked, very close to your lips.

“A little, but… I don’t wanna go to sleep right now.”

“We can watch the rest of Monster House cuddled up on the couch and ditch them after the movie.” He suggested. “I really would love if you spent the night. I-If that’s not too much for you.”

“Of course! I would love to cuddle and watch the rest of the movie. And I’ll actually accept staying over because there’s no way I’m sleeping alone in my apartment after The Ring.” You laughed once again and kissed one more time before going back to the living room.

The boys all cheered loudly when they saw you two come back to the living room together and holding hands. You didn’t care, deciding to only sit on Harrison’s lap and rest your head on his chest. He left many kisses across your face, and even stole some from your lips. You did steal some back and you were enjoying it a lot. The boys did tease you a little more, but you didn’t care because you had each other.

And that was definitely the best night of sleep you had in your life. Harrison made you feel safe and feel loved, so you weren’t scared at all. He would always be there to hold you whenever you need it. He is your safe haven.

Okay, so lets…BEGIN 

This seems like a blooming romance mixed with comedy. TBH it made me feel the KDrama vibe. 

Soooo let’s say you’re a freshman in college and you’re coming in late. You took a year off– had to think about what you were going to study, what you wanted to be. So instead, you took off– no, no you’re not rich. You have family that lives abroad.  So you left, cut off all ties, and postponed your enrollment at a University. 

But there’s this one boy who you felt really bad about having left behind. His name? Kim Mingyu. A year younger than you but, after meeting him your junior year in your Calculus…he was your buddy. He was your table-mate! Your table-mate!! The boy needed to be protected.

Tall, lanky, fringe in his eyes…clumsy, the boy needed to be protected. He was like the little brother you never had. 

But anyways, after a year, it was time for you to go back and start your first year! You had to move into your dorm, unpack, get to know the campus. And then it’s your first day…

It was all going well until some asshole bumped into you on your way to your intro to Astronomy class and spilled your smoothie all over you. It’s the first day! Everyone looks good the first week. How dare he. The cruelt— wait…

Anyways, you’re chilling in your first class, ten minutes in, reading the syllabus when the door is flung open and in comes Kim Mingyu 10 minutes late to this here Intro to Astronomy class….the Professor ain’t happy. But it’s the first day and y’all get lost so he’ll let it go…for now. Mingyu scans the class, looking for a seat and there’s one behind you! Wait— you? Holy canoly you’re in the class. Ya know his little excited smile? Yeah that’s on his face rn 

So yeah, that’s how your quarter is to be spent, looking up at artificial night sky at the school’s planetarium with Mingyu sitting in the seat behind you. But these are just details — y’all want the story, so here it is.

After this night class, Mingyu starts walking you home - only you see it as you walking him home. Your dorms are in the same direction. Please. 

But you don’t gotta wait for night to see him. He works at the humanities library, so when you go to study (which is a lot more often than you’d like to admit) during the day, you end up seeing Mingyu as he works. 

And all this time, our dear Mingyu has been hopelessly enamored with you. Really, ever since he met you in high school.

And you can’t seem to notice, no matter how much he helps you out during the day. He sneaks food into the library for you to eat, helps you get books down without the stepstool. The boy is on it. There to help but you’re oblivious to his feelings. Mingyu is taking things slow WAY too slow. Then again, you sorta just seem his a friend… 

The semester keeps on going and eventually you start to form a little crush on the person who sits next to you during astronomy. poor Mingyu.

 Midterms are eventually around the corner and you try to form a study group with said crush and Mingyu as help. But they don’t show up :(( but Mingyu does :))) 

And while you’re sulking, Mingyu is nervous as heck because he wants to tell you how he feels. Right now! So he basically starts trying to make you feel better and eventually he asks you why you’re sulking…& you tell him. And he responds, “Forget about them. They aren’t worth it.” :(((((((( Sulky you….and then cue Mingyu. “Y/N, there’s something I have to tell you.” “What?” And he confesses. 

You just sit there. Now ain’t this awkward. You apologize to Mingyu and tell him that you’ve only seen him as a brother…..well that’s fine because Mingyu tells you that he’s going to show you another side, and that’s when the real flirting begins. 

Over the course of the quarter, Mingyu keeps doing what he’s been doing all along, now adding wink. That’s what gets you thinking, okay. You know why he’s doing it and it’s freaking you out. BUT he’s also stopped. When you’re bringing down a book, he lets you struggle for a bit and then swoops down when either a) you’re about to fall or b) the book is about to fall. Then he leaves without saying a word. He’s giving you space and at the same time giving you a heart attack. He doesn’t even walk with you anymore! You seriously can’t stop thinking about him. 

Then it starts. You keep looking for Mingyu so much that you start to notice how much he’s changed. For one he’s taller than high school. How? You got no clue. He walks so much more confidently too, head held high. In other words, he’s much more confident– he doesn’t need to be protected anymore. 

Now you’re starting to form feeling every time he’s around. He does the things he’s done before and you blush. He notices. Oh, he notices. But, he doesn’t do anything…yet. 

It’s not until finals week, during your final exam that you finally do something. You see that Mingyu is turning in his exam and you book it. You had been done even earlier but were waiting for him to stand up to follow him. 

It’s then that you confess to him and hope that he hasn’t moved on,…ya know? But he hasn’t. 

So he takes you out on a ‘we’re done with finals’ date and your romance starts.

It’s right before winter break so imma end this with by saying that during winter break, you end up meeting all his new friends. You bond with 96line cause they’re your age. Who, by the way, you find out were the ones telling Mingyu how to act because they figured you’d be reserved about dating Mingyu because he’s younger than you. Which is not to say that you didn’t fall for Mingyu, cause that was 100% according to them. Since as it turns out, Mingyu took some liberties in the way he acted around you.

“No Turning Back” - Prinxiety

This is a human AU where the four Sides are all housemates. Initially, Roman and Virgil are constantly at odds, flinging bad insults and nicknames, generally bickering for the sake of it, and claiming to have nothing in common. Then, after a haunted house experience in early October, Logan points out something: both (while it manifests differently between them) are complete fear junkies. Roman loves intense, dark action that makes you wonder how the hero could possibly survive, and then cheer at his triumph; Virgil is always looping bad scenarios through his own head and watching survival and horror videos for worst case scenario. Both of them thrive off the rapid-heartbeat, shaking-hands feeling of unknown terror.

So they decide to go on a roadtrip: Roman and Virgil are going to find all the scariest haunted houses in the United States (and one in Canada!) to hopefully bond over their intense craving for absolute terror. At first, they don’t know why they thought this would be a good idea: hours in a car together, fighting over music, sharing cheap hotels and occasionally sleeping in Walmart parking lots– it all seems like it’ll end up terribly.

But there’s something about clinging to each other through Nightmares Fear Factory, The Edge of Hell, and finally the McKamey house that brings them closer than they ever expected to. While Virgil starts panicking just from standing at each doorway, the dark unknown ahead, he finds that these fears can be exciting and adventurous, as long as Roman is smirking at him and saying, “There’s no turning back now.”

“Irreversible” - BenPatty

Oooh this fic is a sappy purple prose piece about Patty reflecting on his and Ben’s relationship over the past years, their growth and how hard they’ve worked together and how far they’ve come. It’s only probably about 1,000 words long, and the author definitely gives it an intentional number (like, ending on an even 0 or 5 or something like that) that just adds to the beauty of it. The flowery language smells so sweet that it’s suffocating, but Patty is so in love and he can’t stop thinking about how he and Ben have given each other everything, and that this kind of love is just… irreversible.

“On The Right Track” - Klance (or, the fake fic that almost turned itself into a real fic right before our very eyes. how)

Listen, I know that everyone loves a good Klance Dance AU, and I am soooo tempted to say that that’s what “On The Right Track” is, but really the title is a pun in a much more obvious way:

Lance likes making mixtapes and playlists. He DJs for the college radio station, gets hired for all the best frat parties, and is generally awesome. He’s majoring in music engineering, already knowing what he wants his life career to be and already well on his way to making it big. He’s got the personality, the talent, the charm, and the crippling self-doubt behind a class-clown mask.

Keith is in the symphony orchestra. He plays cello. Keith is quiet in classes, determined to just get through everything, but Keith is loud and proud at every on-campus, in-town, within-sixty-miles protest. He knows what he believes in, he knows that just a few people can make all the difference in the world, and he knows that comfortable people will always try to ignore the uncomfortable voices shouting in their ears. Keith is a fine arts major with a minor in nonprofit.

So how do they meet? It starts out with one-sided infatuation, Lance having to go see the orchestra play for an assignment and going absolutely smitten for the cute cello player with a short ponytail. The fic follows a series of run-ins and bumps and bad impression/good impression instances, coming to a head when they find themselves sitting in the observatory, listening to music together and having deep talks. The next time Lance sees Keith, he gives Keith a CD. At first, it seems like the songs are incohesive, random, full of different moods and tones. Keith doesn’t get it: he’s more of a visual artist than an auditory one.

Then finals week happens, deadlines and projects and they don’t see each other again for two months. Keith has basically only been listening to Lance’s CD, and he discovers that the change of pace gives him inspiration for portfolio pieces and color experimentation.

When the two finally reunite, Lance is nervous because he never found out whether or not Keith liked the mixtape. Instead of telling him ‘yes’ or ‘no,’ Keith gives Lance his portfolio. There’s a dramatic change from dark, low-saturation pieces to vibrancy, like new life and energy has been injected into the art; like hope and belief have overcome cynicism and exhaustion.

“I was kind of just finding myself in the same headspace all the time,” Keith tells him. “It was monotonous and I felt like I wasn’t doing anything that really made a difference. I guess I just needed to find a new beat– and you gave me a whole CD of them.”
