tweaking over cushion foundation right now we really are in difficult times
#LISTEN i haven't had a good color match in so long but it's in one of these FUCK ASS CUSHIONS#I'm going to sound insane to anyone who doesn't watch too much asian makeup videos but the cushions make me so crazy j get so paranoid about#the foundation going bad. okay. like i keep thinking christ this is going to have so much bacteria it will break me out and i will DIE#and ok i'm ashy as fuck and apparently significantly pale by american/national makeup standards.#it's not like i Can't get a match at all most companies have my shade or something close#EXCEPT. they're all like 200+ bucks#AND STILL LOOK KINDA YELLOW ON ME#i have found such a Good match blind buying literally just whatever foundation was medium coverage and affordablr but it takes like a month#to arrive.#and idfk if i commited User Erros because i've had it for uhh. maybe a month and some. and i use a little almost everyday#and Ok. i'm being crazy but it was starting to feel kinda dry and weird and i'm so upset Alright maybe i did get emotionally attached to#a foundation. i will not pull the oo i'm just a girl card because i hate it i'm admitting how fucking insane it is.#And i'm lowkey scared of taking out the sponge and trying to flip it because Bacteria.

Things I make for myself when insomnia kicks in
Just a chart about what I wanna change up and keep consistent in my art - I mainly wanna draw Raph with a tail because he deserves one, it fits too well. Donnie gets a long tail too because I didn’t realize how dino-like he looks until I gave him one, and now it’s a must for me haha.

i love that every time any character uses a phone it's like, actually them using a phone like they all have their own banged up phones with their own wallpapers and contact names for everyone and you can actually see the call/hang up/etc when they're on call and the phone menu when they have to do anything.. like it's not a big detail but there's like basically no media out there that actually does smartphones well it's always either shit greenscreen or pre edited menus that look like they were made by someone who's never seen a smartphone in their life
#sorry i just rly love everything about the way this show looks especially season 1 wooo... stone me about it#s1 was such peak camp and 2a looks so washed out and yellow in comparison... then 2b is#still yellow but they finally raised the contrast so it's less strange#and 3a/3b looks so different from all of them#i thinnnk i prefer s1? im biased towards 2b coz i was peak insane while that was airing but if im honest it's kinda ugly..#2a is the worst tho it's sooo flat and yellow#like it's FINE but to go from the really cool black & neon pinks and blues of s1 to 2a is so jarring#sh rewatch#shadowhunters

Haha#Oh and the Sinister figure (Sigure?) turned out cute as well haha ♪ I love that Stan has cute little blushy cheeks ah too cute#It feels mean to pick one to compliment first to ignore the other til later but I have to start with one of them! Lol#416v1's hair turned out so cute and ah it was fun to do! The yellow highlights in complement to her shirt ah! Gotta do that more often#And then adding little Lines™ to her stockings heck yeah - they weren't part of her initial design but I love them#They'd be such a simple stitch for a cute pop of colour I simply had to#And the fact that the ends of her hair and her skirt have kinda similar shapes haha they're fun shapes! Very enjoyable :D#Okay now to 416v2 haha - he's also super cute!! Leaving some of his lines to implication and pseudo-lineless has a fun effect hehe#I also don't draw Stanley with them very often and I didn't in 416v2's original design either but his collar buttons! Cute ♪#Stanley has them it felt appropriate to add some to v2 hehe#I couldn't quite swing the effect I was going for but his legs are kinda meant to transition into his ''main body'' like his skintone#The lines weren't working with me tho :P So this instead! regardless if it’s a timeskip or not i do think the new outfits signify a new chapter in their lives??? like in the case of bat:
kuukou’s still punk still monk lol but more importantly, he still has his sachihoko symbols on his haori thing. kuukou’s always changed the symbols on his coat whenever he gets a new one so it’s an important point!!! sachihoko are guardians to protect from storms so kuukou still has his protector/protection imagery
jyushi’s overcoat is still the same style but it is longer and darker and his outfit as a whole is grandiose lol like even more vkei, so i’d say this is jyushi’s final form a jyushi more true to himself and braver than ever before and ready to perform on his biggest stage yet
hitoya’s i’m not too sure actually lol but it reminds me a lot of his fit back when he helped out kuukou and jyushi. if that’s the angle then it might have him playing support for whatever he’ll be getting into as jakurai’s partner. also lends to his own knight imagery since that’s the period of time we see him as a defender

I don’t think I ever posted abt this but I think it’s funny anyways last time I went to disneyland I went on so many rides that when I got in the car to go home I put my seatbelt on and for a split second I freaked out bc I couldn’t find the yellow strap to pull on 💀
#this happened bc I went on smugglers run and star tours so many times btw#it had become ingrained in my head that before ANYTHING gets moving you’ve gotta pull on the yellow strap#in that split second I was genuenly scared that I wouldn’t be able to get home bc I didn’t have a yellow strap to pull on#this is what star tours does to a mfer#i wonder how often stuff like this happens to ppl who go all the time#sassy speaks#sw#dl#for context for ppl who haven’t been to disney rides usually have a yellow strap on the seatbelts#that you pull on so the cast members can confirm that you have it on and also that it’s secure#usually at some point on my trips pulling on it becomes a subconscious thing#like I don’t even wait for them to ask me to I just buckle in and IMMEDIATELY start pulling on it it’s kinda funny#I’m especially egregious abt this on star tours bc boarding takes FOREVER#bc the cast member has to come in and press a shitton of buttons#so I’m sitting there for like a solid minute tugging on the yellow tab subconsciously like my life depends on it#star tours is a fun one to watch the cast member on bc all the control panels are on full display#i still havent figured out exactly when they take the spy pic I’m sure others have done sloothing I need to look into that#but it’s cool there’s a panel that has a light for each seat and the lights light up if the seatbelt is secured#so you kinda get to sit there and go ‘why did that mfer in the back row on the right not put their seatbelt on yet wtf’#star tours cast members are the real ones shoutout to all the cast members who have ever worked star tours#and watched me get on it like 4 times in a row and didn’t comment on it 🫡#I DIDNT MEAN TO MAKE A TAG WALL HOW DO I MANAGE TO INFODUMP ABT STAR TOURS ON EVERY POST I MAKE 💀
