Does the scratching under the skin right at the top of their cranium still them to a swivel? Start and stop the machine of calculated carnage only to see the walls of their home, the buildings of safety and faces of loved ones?

The panic when the enemy coils in the mind. The panic. The panic.

It's a panic.

There is no enemy, oh but the body howls with the urge to do something.

The inspiration for the title draws from the well-known "Good man, that Cody." quote, as said by Obi Wan in the Clone Wars series.

And in wanting to capture the goodness of his character, I asked people for the words that came to mind when describing Commander Cody to include in this artwork. The words in orange are included in the final image; in the interest of space and legibility, I could not include all of the words I was given in addition to my own on a 4 x 6 card.

jules and i watching unsleeping city s2 and looking at cody like "hmmm this guy 🤔 he's annoying as fuck but he's got a little Something we feel a kinship with him like we know him we're staring to root for him in his extremely embarrassing life" and then it turned out to be just the internal new jerseyian radar immediately recognizing the self in the other mall culture

Trick or Treat!! 🧛🏼‍♀️🎃 What's one/what are the thought/trope/headcannon/take(s) that you have for Codywan that you feel is/are less common? Doesn't necessarily have to be a hot take if you don't want, but something you don't see as much or that maybe you'd like to see more of?

Oh goodness, I haven't been reading a lot of codywan recently because I've been stewing in my own thoughts of them so I might not have the most accurate perception of what everyone's doing with the beloveds, but I do have one or two things that most definitely haven't changed in popularity that I would love to see more of.

I am a devout believer in vers codywan so I'd like to see more Cody bottoming! I just think those two are so single mindedly devoted to wringing every ounce of pleasure from one another's bodies so they would leave no stone unturned. Let Obi-Wan rearrange Cody's atomic structure by cradling him close, pressing him to the mattress, and showering him with praise as he fucks him within an inch of his life. Bless <3

In 2022, seth weaponized his history with Roman against him, and it uh. Didn’t go so hot for him, it ended with Roman murdering him with a steel chair.

In 2024, seth does the same trick again, and Roman’s ready for it! Hits him before he can even really get in the ring. But Seth’s learned in ways Roman hasn’t. He knows now that if Roman has the chance to get him back, to hurt him, he can’t resist (i am thinking about how Roman went back to hit Seth in 2022, even after everything was over). And Seth uses his own self destruction to help Cody.

It’s a fabulous character arc/moment: jn 2022 he selfishly tries to manipulate Roman, in 2024 he unselfishly uses the same strategy because he knows Roman hurting him will save Cody.

Big fan of incredible lack of self preservation and willingness to do himself harm here!!! And the fact that Seth very very literally recreated his initial betrayal as an act of penance. There’s no way he brought that steel chair to the ring thinking he was going to be able to use it.

In canon, he grew up without Larry, and never met his dad. However… Cody can see ghosts and has had nightmares since he was small.

Oh man hard question

Favorite to do while doing it was probably Day 23: Fav human ally because, despite my previous trouble drawing the human characters after drawing so many turtles lol, drawing Cody Jones was easy and I ended up doodling him several times just for fun. I also enjoyed drawing the Day 5: Best Leo and I'm proud of how the armor turned out. And Day 14: Favorite Movie I actually did a lot faster than I thought I would and really liked how it turned out. I even made it the lockscreen on my phone lol

There were other days that I didnt necessarily enjoy while doing it, but loved how they turned out: Day 16: Favorite Episode, Day 22: Favorite Turtle Duo, and Day 21: Favorite Shredder

(Doing this ^^^ meme one was a struggle to get Oroku Saki to look right, and then my laptop randomly restarted when I was about 75% done with the piece, luckily it autosaved everything except the last few minutes of coloring I'd done. But despite the struggles doing it I loved how it turned out)

OH! and Day 4: Baby Turtles, it took the longest to do and I dont know what compelled me to draw thirteen turtles in one picture but I do love how it turned out lol

i still think babyface mjf could be great (when he was faking it for the mox feud i thought he was hitting it out of the park in terms of balancing playing a good guy while not losing his identity as a character), but i think the problem rn is that, at some point, tony gave him seemingly free reign over everything he's doing and what he has decided he wants to do is figure out how far he can stretch the ironic corny stereotypical babyface shtick before the crowd turns on him and. it's not good
