I don't know if you guys know how evil the Sodalitium is...they are like a proto fascist catholic club + all the abuse that pretty much had the Catholic Church of Peru under its thumb. The guy who brought them down, Mr. Escardó, a survivor that runs the survivor network in peru, is SUPER appreciative of the work Prevost did to get the ear of Pope Francis and actually censure them/shut them down.

And the Sodalites have been spreading a lot of false rumors on the conservative/far right outlets in Peru for a while. These are like the fox news/newsmax/oann equivalent news outlets.

Like, I'm not saying Prevost did no wrong. Even Escardó admits that, and has plenty of criticisms of Pope Francis and who HE also had to learn and evolve a lot over the years in how to handle these criminal elements in the church. But Prevost got notably better in his handling of these things since the early 2000 (everything in the US church was FUCKED then, nobody was handling things well), to the point where he orchestrated bringing this org down. Its complicated, and until people start translating a lot of this into english the narrative is going to be a mess. And if you don't know peruvian politics and how absolutely bonkers and corrupt it is, it is very hard to untangle what is and isn't a reliable source.

Okay, but now I'm having QUESTIONS. Nat is calling rescue, she made fucking contact with someone. Mari just died (was murdered), so they should last for a while, right? And rescue should come quickly, because it's the beginning of winter and Nat sounds desperate - and I mean, everyone in their right mind would understand that winter in Canada = death without proper equipment. So now my question is: How come ONLY eight people return from the Wilderness? We have Shauna, Taissa, Van, Lottie, Misty, Travis, Natalie, and Melissa surviving the Wilderness. But what about the others? We still have Akilah, Gen, Robin, Hannah, and this other black girl I don't know the name of in the beginning of the finale. That's five whole people, when rescue is probably on its way!!! What the heck could happen to all of them in the meantime? Maybe one or two could die (because of the elements, because of another hunt or internal conflict), but five of them? I don't know, something is fishy with this - is Shauna going to become a serial killer, even more than she already is?

Hello, It's been a while. I'm back with some art for the Bounty Hunter Branch au.

I was asked a while ago about interactions between the other bounty hunters and Branch, so I drew some.

Now, I'm going to Info dump about The Bounty Hunter's relationship with Branch.

Hickory: When he first saw Branch, he thought Branch was some small kid who got lost. When he found out about Branch being one of the new bounty hunters, he was heartbroken. How can a kid so little do such a dangerous job? Where was his parents? Where does he live? Why is he out here alone? Why is he gray? All these questions plagued his mind, so from that day onward, he was determined to befriend his stubborn kid.

Dickory: At First, he didn’t care about Branch. He was just some little kid trying to get himself killed, but then, over the years, he heard about how the grey hunter would take out his targets with ease. He was as quick as lighting and quiet as a mouse. No one could catch him. It was like he was invisible. After that, Dickory didn’t trust Branch. Saying he's hiding something.

K-Pop Gang: They are very curious about the lonely teenager. They are also worried about him being gray, but they don’t ask because the last time when Hickory asked, Branch yelled and almost got into a fight with him, and no one saw him for two weeks after that. It also doesn’t help that Branch doesn’t like music and cuts off the radio when he walks into The Milkshake Bar. It makes it hard to connect with him. But that doesn’t stop them. They will try to befriend him no matter what.

Tresillo: He didn’t know about Branch until he saw him collecting a bounty. He had never seen anything like it, a fog that makes trolls fall asleep. When he woke up after the fog knocked him out, he saw the village was fine, but the mayor was missing, and no one knew where he went. He felt better that no one else was hurt. But, after that, he became wary of Branch.

Marimba and Tambora: They don’t think anything of Branch. But they know Tresillo is uneasy around him, so they are also wary of Branch.

Chaz: He never seen Branch but knows of him. He stays clear of him.
