pairing: jack abbott x f!resident!reader warnings: age gap (older man/younger woman), probably lots of medical inaccuracies, brief mentions of rehab and miscarriage a/n: Did I stay up until 2 a.m. to post this bc Jack Abbot and The Pitt have fully taken over my brain? As predicted, Robby was on the roof nursing a beer. Though at least tonight he was on this side of the railing. 

“Should I be worried about how often I find you up here these days?” Before PittFest a little over a month ago, it was rare for Robby to come up to the roof unless he was looking for Jack. Now, he was up here more nights than not. 

“You sound like Heather.” 

“Dr. Collins is a smart woman.” 

They both stood there leaning against the railing in silence, staring out over the skyline of downtown Pittsburgh in the distance. Jack knew better than to push Robby for a real answer. If he wanted to talk about what happened today, he would. If not, Jack was content to spend a few minutes in silence before what was sure to be another hectic shift. 

The sun was starting to set, and the soundtrack of the city was starting to morph from day to night — honking from rush hour commuters replaced by live music and happy hour laughter. The bar down the block that the day shift residents were always heading to after shift was playing some new pop song that Jack had heard too many times on the radio. He wondered briefly if you would head there after today’s shift with the others, or if you were the type to keep work and your personal life in two completely separate boxes. 

“So, I met your new resident downstairs,” Jack broke the silence. 

Robby’s eyes cut over to him, one eyebrow raised in that annoying Robby way that meant he was reading into something Jack would really rather him not. 

“Yeah, I needed a backfill for Langdon, and Gloria only made me promise half my soul in exchange. She’s a transfer from Mercy.” 

“She any good?” 

He tried to sound casual, unaffected — just an attending asking another attending about a new resident. But the way Robby fully turned to look at Jack suggested that he was unsuccessful. He pointedly ignored the growing smirk on his friend’s face. 

“Very. Calm under pressure, quick to diagnose, generous with the interns and med students. She’ll be an asset. Gloria actually smiled when she looked at her resumé, amd I didn’t know she was even capable of anything other than a disappointed frown.”

Jack just nodded slowly, keeping his eyes trained on the skyline as Robby continued to study him with his arms crossed over his chest and hip propped up against the railing. 

“I can’t tell if you’re asking because you want to sleep with her or because you want to steal her for the night shift.” 

“Oh fuck off, I’m not trying to steal her,” Jack rolled his eyes. He’d technically stolen Ellis away from day shift after her intern year, and Robby still hadn’t let it go. And even if Jack was plotting to steal you to add to the night shift roster, it’d be fair game. Night shift was even more understaffed than the day shift. 

“So you’re trying to sleep with her then?” 

Jack nearly gave himself whiplash turning to glare at Robby. “No, I’m not trying to—that’s not why I—Christ, Robby, she’s like half my age!” 

Robby barked out an amused laugh, shoulders shaking with what could only be described as unabashed glee while Jack sputtered out his response. “That must have been one hell of a first impression, Brother. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen you this flustered.” 

“I’m not flustered. Forget I said anything. Maybe I do want to steal her for the night shift,” he grumbled. “Get someone to keep Shen on his toes.” 

“Whatever you say, man. God, I need that after today. Thanks.” He pushed off from the railing and headed back to the door inside, still chuckling to himself. Jack followed behind him with a deep sigh, regretting almost every life choice that led him to becoming friends with this asshole.

You liked working at The Pitt. It was a faster pace than Mercy. More cases, higher stakes, less oversight. Given how often you saw Gloria following around a visibly annoyed Robby, her heels clacking rapidly against the vinyl tiling, you suspected that last bit was thanks to him shielding the ED from higher influences. 

Robby was a great boss, and Dana ran a tight ship. Plus, there was a real sense of camaraderie between the staff that you didn’t realize you were missing before. It’s always a red flag when an HR department tells you that a workplace is “like a family,” and you thankfully hadn’t heard anyone say that during your interview process at PTMC. But you also sort of felt like it might be true in this case. 

The Pitt was sort of a family. A wildly dysfunctional one, but a family nonetheless. And you’d been in desperate need of one. 

Collins was a tough chief resident, but she was constantly looking out for everyone else. Princess and Perlah may endlessly bully poor Whittaker, who was hands-down the most unlucky person you’d ever met in your life, but you’d seen them both slide a piece of candy across the counter toward him on numerous occasions when he was having the kind of shift that left him cycling through multiple sets of scrubs. Santos could be a pain in the ass, but she also didn’t hesitate to throw herself in between Mel and a patient who was getting a little too aggressive.

And by the end of your first month on the job, they’d brought you into the fold, too. 

You and Collins got close quickly. During your first week, you’d accidentally stumbled across her crying in the stairwell. You’d sat down with her quietly, just so she wouldn’t be alone, and after shift, she told you about her miscarriage and the case that had triggered her tears earlier in the day. You told her about breaking down in the ambulance bay after the kid whose father accidentally pushed them down the stairs during a bender. She wasn’t a lesser doctor because a case got to her; you all had your shit, and in the end, it made you better doctors. 

The guys invited you to join in on the betting board — something Mercy most certainly did not have. Everyone bet on everything, but there was also a mason jar at the nurses station labeled “coffee stash,” and every single person who won money from the pool shoved a few bills into the jar from their winnings. Dana used it for cafe coffee runs on hard shifts and beer runs after good ones. 

Santos and Mel always invited you out for drinks after shift, even though you said no more often than not so you could visit your mom before visiting hours ended. Robby fist bumped you after successful cases you worked together. Princess told you about the unofficial bet the nurses had going on about Javadi and Mateo. 

Things were…good. Great, even. 

And then there was Dr. Abbot. 

You’d been so fucking embarrassed after that first meeting — snapping at him like he was an intern and then rambling like a moron before essentially running away. The absolute height of professionalism. 

But he didn’t seem to hold it against you. If anything, it seemed that unfortunate introduction had somehow endeared you to the stoic night shift attending. You weren’t sure if it was borne from how you handled that code, the bumbling apology after, or the ironic duality of the two interactions happening back-to-back (you really hoped it was the former). But the next time you were both working on the same patient, he’d handed you a pair of iris scissors and walked you through your first-ever emergency lateral canthotomy. 

After, he’d given you a proud smile. “Hell of a job, doctor. You just saved this man’s eye.” 

You didn’t get to work with him every day, only on the days he came in early for his shift or you stayed late to wrap up a case or catch up on paperwork. But the occasions when your time in the ED did overlap, you found yourself gravitating toward him. He was gruff, no-nonsense. He scared the shit out of the interns, and the nurses all had stories about him Macgyvering procedures. But he was also a phenomenal doctor and a patient teacher. Had a clear soft spot for vets and kids. 

And yeah, okay, he was unfairly handsome. You weren’t above admitting that to yourself. The corded muscles along his forearms, broad shoulders, the constant five o’clock shadow, the salt and pepper hair grown out just long enough to start to curl, the slight rasp in his voice. It was a very specific combination that caused a weird swooping sensation in your belly every time you locked eyes with him. 

You asked Collins about him at the bar one night, three whiskey diet cokes deep and unable to hold the question back. 

“What about him? He's the most senior night shift attending. Great doctor. Surprisingly good teacher, given the whole ‘ED cowboy’ reputation. He’s worked at The Pitt for… 7 years now, I think? Obvious workaholic, given how often he comes in early and stays late.” 

“I don’t mean what’s in his personnel file, Heather," you say, exasperated. You wanted to know what he was like, his hobbies outside of work, if he was single...

“Then what did you mean?” 

“I don’t know, something that’s not in his personnel file? I know him and Robby are friends.” 

She slumped down deeper in the booth, her legs stretching across until her feet rested on your side of the booth. “And why would that mean I know anything about him? Do I look like Princess and Perlah on the gossip squad to you?” 

You leveled an unamused look at her, one that said, Do you really want me to lay out exactly why I think you would know all about Jack because he and Robby are friends? 

She sighed dramatically, putting her hands up in surrender. “He’s a combat vet. Afghanistan. Three tours as a medic before an IED ended his military career. He wears a prosthetic, though he does a pretty good job of keeping it hidden at the hospital. Lately, him and Robby do this weird post-shift hand-off thing on the roof, which is morbid and more than a little concerning. He’s a widower; further details unclear.”

“Shit.” The liquor buzzing through your system prevented you from saying anything more eloquent. Heather just nodded in agreement. 

That briefly brought the mood down, silence stretching between you in the booth. Your mind wandered to Dr. Abbot. He’d be at the hospital right now, rounding on patients. It was late enough that there might be a lull. You wondered what he was like during those periods of downtime. Was he restless, constantly finding something to keep him busy, or did he relish a chance for a break to get some peace and quiet? Was he more relaxed with his night shift crew? Did he have secret jokes with the nurses? Did he give that small, proud smile when Ellis or Walsh pulled off a successful procedure under his tutelage? 

God, the whiskey was really making you pathetic tonight. 

“So, traumatized, tired, self-loathing older men. That’s your type?” Heather’s voice interrupted your spiraling thoughts. 

You thought about denying it. It’s not like anything would ever happen between you anyway — he was an attending and older and a fucking widower, apparently. It was just an innocent work crush; something to keep your mind occupied during shift lulls and stilted visits with your mom. 

But then she waggled her eyebrows with a smug, shit-eating grin on her face, and you knew lying would be pointless. Instead, you threw a straw wrapper at her and shot her a mock glare. “Shut up, you’re one to talk.” 

She dodged the wrapper easily, sitting up with a burst of energy and demanding you to tell her everything. You were going to need another whiskey diet.

She sat across him at the table, her eyes never once closing as she looked at the man getting ripped to shreds by Nagini, his fathers snake.

Most flinched back when the blood splashed, either afraid to stain their clothes or just simply grosted out but not she.

The blood splashed across her face and chest as she kept her eyes on the dead man, before they left his lifeless body her eyes following the patterns on the snake before they met his, her brown eyes were dark as she seemed to dig into his sould before she looked away as his father spoke.

After her father dismissed everyone, Mattheo went to the door but noticed as the girl looked af the dead body, she had not moved from her place.

I say the word girl as if Mattheo wouldnt know her, Mattheo grew up with Y/n untill she vanished when they were 13 years old, she had only come back a few months ago completely changed from the alive person she was.

Her eyes seemed dead as they looked into people, her face always blank and stone cold.

"Y/n" he spoke catching her attention as she got up, her eyes darted to him as she moved closer to the exit.

"Yes?" She asked as she stood before him, this seemed like the first time convo since she got back other than the small chats they had while going to meeting but this one, a simple convo thay ended only by Y/n s dark wood doors as she held her hand on the handle.

"You read?" He asked when she opened the door and saw the book case there.

She seemed to flush at his words amd Mattheo made his way to the books, opening a random one on a random page and read it while the girl tried to stop him.

He raised his brows at her as he shut the book closed but still not giving the girl the book.

"You read porn?" He asked losening his tie.

"Its not porn" she said annoyed reaching for the book only for Mattheo to put his hand up, way out of her reach "its a romance book thay happens to have some smut in it" she explained crossing her arms.

"Alright, princess" he said looking at her.

She felt small under his gaze, he noticed her eyes were not so dead anymore and face was showing more emotion than ever before.

"Ill make you a deal" he said stepping closer to her making her step back untill her back hit the door " anything in the not-porn-but-romance-with-smut-in-it book you read, ill do it to you 10 times better"

She felt the heat between her legs pool as she shut them, her head nodding before she can say anything else.

You and Nesta always waved to each other after running into each other in the locker room

Then it graduated to ‘hello’ a few times

You had never properly talked to them until Nesta was there alone one day and some dude was trying to hit on her

She spotted you on the treadmill and immediately rushed over to you, telling you what was happening

He makes it fun! He puts on music or a trashy reality show (he’s invested in the Vanderpump Rules drama) and you just have fun singing amd talking

With both of them your go to activity is the movies

The next big blockbuster is coming out? Cassian ordered the tickets online weeks ago and preordered popcorn, drinks, and candy

He absolutely made you and Nesta do a Barbenheimer double feature. You were excited Nesta wanted to see just Oppenheimer

Cassian is more relaxed and silly where Nesta is more serious but you and Cass always make her laugh

You were nervous to meet their family, wondering if you would be accepted by them

Cass and Nes were super reassuring and helped you through your anxiety

This month has started in an unexpected but lovely way. While I was at the bus stop waiting for my bus home I started chatting with a girl who asked me informations because she is only just learning Italian, she complimented me for my English and we found ourselves talking about anything and everything, and we spoke for like half and hour? Other than just goving me a confidence boost on my English speaking abilities, since I don't get to practice a lot, it made feel so proud of myself for talking to a stranger. I am a super shy person, and one year ago I would have never just had a conversation like this with a stranger, it felt so good to do something so out of my comfort zone in such a natural way. I spent the rest of the morning in my family's store with my mom and brother, and then spent the afternoon with my mom. We had some errands to run and then we went to get a tea and a sweet treat in a cafè. It's something we like to do every once in a while, and it had been some time since our last tea afternoon. As we were out I also did something I hadn't done in years, I bought a book I don't know anything about and that I have never seen or heard before. It might sound stupid but in the last few years all my book purchases have been somehow planned, I knew what I was looking for amd I got books I knew something about. To just walk in a bookstore have my eye caught by something I know nothing about felt so good!

Chill hobbit summer activities of today (I am about to change name for this section but that will happen once I get back into my productive routine next week):

Reading in the morning

Monthly therapy session

Talking to strangers without feeling self conscious

Sat in the sun outside the store with my brother chatting and laughing

Buying a book I know nothing of but that called to me (I feel like it will be a great autumn horror to get cozy with)

Tea time with my mom (we got an amazing sweet treat and also the tea we got was super good? It was a mix of green tea and other herbs including lemongrass and rose, it was spectacular)

Crocheting everytime I have nothing to do

I'll be going out my family for dinner

Do you have any thoughts on good/bad/worthwhile Cassandra Cain storylines? Her introduction/origin years ago was uhh not good (i.e., mega-racist even by Batbook standards), but I figure a bazillion lesbians can't be wholly wrong (except about TSwift and maybe The L Word).

here is the thing, if you wanna read about a character of color in comics you gotta accept it will be a little to very racist. I'm pretty sure being racist is just a requirement to be a comics writer, like they make you take a racial bias test and only hire people with highest scores. and hilariously I can't guess which introduction you mean because I realise that her og-og origin also falls under some racist stereotypes but new52 was just a full on massacre jsnsjsj

I need to caveat that the storylines in her solo will have art so racist it will make your eyes water sometimes, that's why it's so hard ro recommend it sjsjsjks but I genuinely think the first few arcs from it are great, even though it's funny as fuck that they realised cass not speaking at all was either a lil racist or not very good for carrying a solo and they magicked her the ability to speak but it DID lead to the shiva arc and that was fucking crazy amd i haven't seen a batfam mf go this hard since then. on the flipside some of the later arcs and the annuals are.... oh girl. apart from racism even, they are just choppy and messy and nothing was ever gonna go anywhere because dc hated my girl and wanted her gone so she's not allowed to have any meaningful storylines connected to batfam or yk. anything really

and its only worse from here, like the whole evil cass arc after that leading to batgirl redemption is straight up infamous because of how stupid it is. it's pointless and it brings nothing and was never gonna be resolved because every man at dc secretly imagines their wife is deathstroke when they fuck so it's not like cass will actually get her dues at the end of all that. it was literally her death and the maidens and that shit sucked even less somehow

and that was the good era <3 n52 outsiders was okay, not very preboot cass accurate and shiva wasn't that in character necessarily but its not physically painful to read. but her introduction was fucking batman and robin eternal and I think whoever thought of this panel in particular

needs to be in fucking prison for the irreperable damage this did to fanon. and also whoever came up with tim saying because she can't talk she must have the mind of a chuld - oh if I got my hands on tynion for this. oh bitch

rebirth doesn't even deserve a mention because it was just boring. now we have batgirls as her main comic and I hate that fucking thing with my entire heart like I would pay a turkish witch to curse everybody involved in making this. the way they said they wrote them to be about 14 I'm gonna have a fucking heart attack just remembering it. from newer stuff the only things I would say are worth attention is her story in the asian heritage month special - not crazy good but its okay - and spirit world but it's not that focused on her. still a fun read tho

also, preboot, there are some REALLY good one off issues with her that you would never think to read because they are buried in other runs. my faves are gotham knights #2, dc presents batgirl vs joker, gotham secret files and origins, and batgirl secret files

tldr: if you want to stan cass you have to accept you will suffer. there's no joy to be found here, even in the good arcs. thankfully, I'm delusional and love pain so the potential they never made her live up to is enough to drive me crazy for eternity and one day I will suck off a dc editor so good they will let me write a cass solo with full creative control and jh williams on art and I will have my revenge. and they will all be sorry

so I was streaming MHFU today as the second game in my series of 'play every monster hunter i can get my hands on' amd while I was setting it up before stream i read on the emulator's website that they have a Linux build... it got me thinking about how a dear friend had mentioned around a week ago that she wanted to get to play the older games but wanted to ~experience~ them on their original consoles and how those consoles and game disks/cartridges are often really expensive, but I happened to have a raspberry pi and 3.5in touchscreen for it that my dad gave me like 8yrs ago and i ALSO have a portable power bank with a pretty decent charge capacity and a few old gamepads... the final bit to the it together is that I have a fantastic 3dprinter and a good amount of filament in a really nice dark blue available

i dont know realistically how difficult it'll actually be, or if the components that i have will work, but I have exactly 7 days until I leave to work away from home for four months (with a two week break in there) and I think it'll be a fun challenge to see if i can produce a functional handheld console before I leave with no experience and only stuff dug out of my junk drawer

The last couple of months have been hectic to say the least. You've gone from a happy woman with an amazing boyfriend and job, to a woman who is hungry for revenge on both her boss and her ex boyfriend....And who is also crashing at an ex co-workers house. A little context is definitely needed.

About 4 months ago you had a simple and amazing life. You had an amazing paying job at Market research corporation, an amazing boyfriend, and a lavish apartment that you lived in with said boyfriend! You're boyfriend's name was Zeke Yeager, who also happened to be the owner of Marley corps! Now I know it seems like a bad idea to date your boss (it was) but he was just so....erm charming?

I mean sure he didn't pay you nearly as much as other companies would/should but hey he payed you in other ways. (those ways weren't too good either if you catch my drift) And sure he could be extremely controlling and toxic at times, but it was only because he cared about you so much! (You can see how delusional you were now) He was just so perfect in your mind and nothing could ever make you think otherwise....

Well I mean nothing could have ever made you think otherwise before.

"Before what?" You may be asking. Well thats a sore subject. Not for me though, just for you lol! Everything was going great until one evening when you and Zeke arrived home from work. You had gotten out of the car and began walking towards the lobby when you realized that he wasn't following behind you.

You curiously walked back to the car amd knocked on his window. "What y/n" he said in an agitated tone. "I uhm, I just wanted to see why you weren't coming inside with me?"

"Not that it's any of your business but, I'm going out."

At this point you could tell that he was losing his patience, and trust me when I say that when Zeke Yeager loses his patience it gets real messy real quick, so Instead of asking anymore questions you took a deep breath before nodding. You look back at him and gave him the best smile you could muster before speaking. "Okay..be careful baby. I'll see you when you get back."

You leaned into the window in hopes of getting a quick kiss goodbye but instead he turned his head away, before pressing play on the cars panel. His music began to loudly play as he quickly pulled out of his parking spot, leaving you standing there in shock.

"What the fuck...?"

The rest of your night was spent with you watching Netflix while eating some Chinese takeout. You tried your best to get your mind off of how Zeke had acted just a few hours ago but your thoughts just kept coming back to it.

Had you done something wrong? Or maybe it was that something had happened during one of his meetings today? Or maybe you had messed up one of the documents that he had asked you to finish that day? Not knowing was killing you! But the worst part was that zeke wasn't answering his phone. You knew for a fact that he was on his phone because everytime you sent a message he left you on fucking read!

After hours and hours of no response you gave up. If he didn't want to talk to you then he wouldn't have to. At least not until you got a proper apology. You knew that wasn't gonna happen any time soon but a woman can hope can't she? (No. No she could not.)

YEAH so hospital food is this weird like found footage (?) esque story about a hospital where all the patients and staff disappeared without a trace amd the only clues to what happened are the papers and files that got left behind

The whole thing is set in a world where a few years ago worm like space parasites scorched through the human population but now they e gotten used to them (kinda) so they’re treated a bit like the common cold although they vary heavily in like the effects and symptoms and lethality

The sort of main character is a loner woman named Ward who gets infected with a parasite with some pretty hefty effects but she doesn’t have good medical insurance so she has to work at a clinic where they fight off parasites in other people until she either gets enough money/coverage to afford her own treatment or succumbs to her sickness

I’m still trying to make all the details but this story is my little guy rn oml I’ve been doing actual research on irl parasites for this for months (I can only read about it seeing them makes me too sick LOL) but yesss hospital food the weirdest pun name I’ve come up with yet

Weirdest shabbat I've had so far

Story time with dalya, ur in for a treat

Episode 1: worked friday from 10am to 11:30pm, walked home the 40 minutes. Expect to just hop into bed and sleep in. Side note, my roommate met this guy at the shuk and invited him to Friday night dinner. Other side note, i met this guy like half a year ago, he pissed me off, and i blocked him. So back to the show, i walk in and see him and my roommate eating and she doesnt know that i already kind of know him. Can we just take a moment for that feeling- u walk in after 13 hours of work and a 40 minute walk, and u expect to find an empty apartment and suddenly u see ur roommate and a dude blocked 6 months ago. And i sit down to eat dinner with them cuz theres some kind of reason he reappeared in my life for the night and lets see why. In the end he spends the next few hours trying to talk about what happened and explain himself and all that crap.

Episode 2: i come back after work saturday night, my roommate tells me that the guy came over again earlier and brought me fish and rice from his house to have food after work. I go to my room to sleep and get up to pee at like 2am and find my roommate is having malevel malka and tells me to come eat. Yah, who doesn't want fruit and cold cuts at 2am. So i pee, wash, and eat stuff.

Episode 3: this roomate that im eating melavel malka with goes out to the balcony to smoke. And i take a few minutes eating cuz man i miss beet chrain so much. But then i decide to go to the balcony to get air and be with everyone. And whst do i see? An oldish dude with a streimel, long coat, short pants, white knee socks dude giving out brachas. And i say i want in on it also. So he asks my full jewish name and i tell him. Amd hes like "u have boy trouble swimming around in ur brain, dont u" and i yell down "yah this shabbat there was a lot of that" and he gives me a bracha that everything will work out and my roommate goes down to give him a lighter and some of our fruit. And my brain is like "girl, u have to meet this streimel guy" but its weird to talk to a streimel guy close up when ur half dressed. So i grab a blanket and my keys and go down to talk to him about how to fix my life so weird crap stops happening. And i get down there and hes like "u used to read tehillim more, didnt u?" And im like "yah, but i kind of stopped recently" and hes like "u should start again, i go to the kotel every day and ill daven for u and ill give u an answer" and i was like "can i ask you something?" And he was lkke "sure, anything" so finally heres my chance. I was like "so whats the deal with the short pants? Ive been wondering for so long" so for anyone else who wants to know why these guys wear cropped pants, apparently its because chassidim wanted a way to symbolize the fact that theyre different and jewish and chassidic when the rest of the people in europe wore long pants. And it stuck. So thats the reasoning i got. I think ive run the bill up on weird crap i do for the plot for the next decent while. Thats all folks.

Dreams are crazy this sometimes.

I used to talk to a girl on kik, when I was 16 maybe?? Lil not gay me who didn't understand being gay or accepted/realised it.

I cant even remember how we got each other's kik, well, she was gay, and I was obsessed with the idea of being friends with her, she was cute I remember. Just SOMETHING about her made me want to be friends with her, I can't even remember what we talked about, but she wanted to see a photo of me. Usually I don't care. And just send a somewhat okay selfie.

Nah, this one HAD to be perfect, I think I took it over 100 times, needed right angles, lighting. Even fucking props, as I had a necklace thing that I wanted right, background was perfect. Everything.

I needed her to like this photo of me. But why??? I've never cared before, how helplessly gay I was. I think part of me knew, but shoved it away.

Can't remember why we stopped talking or anything about what we talked about, just that.

Well, I had a dream, she wasn't exactly in it though, just me randomly remembering her, looking her up on Facebook, my dream gave me her exact name too. Well almost exact, my dream added a 'Mc" at the start but then I realised that wasn't part of it. The rest of it was spot on, and it wasn't exactly a basic name either, it's long and unique, crazy how my brain stored that name deeply subconsciously.

But also, I remember many many years ago from now even, probably 2018/2019 i reckon. I did the same, had that memory pop up and looked on Facebook and eventually found her, as I couldn't fully remember the last name. Just thought it was cool to remember and see her, I wonder if she remembers me. Because I really doubt it. Since she was already gay and probably dating girls. It wouldn't of been a core memory as it was to me.

Anyway I looked her up when I woke up, found her, she's really pretty, no wonder lil closet gay me lost her mind haha.

It would actually be so awkward if somehow we met at some place, amd she didn't remember, I'd feel so awkward because I'm like "hey I know your Facebook amd have memories of you and you have no idea who I am"

But, I will just forget her again, till probably another 5-8 years I'll have this memory again.

Memories are so strange like that. I'll fully forget the existence of people, till I randomly remember. But I assume everyone is like that, as you can't always be thinking and remembering everyone, it's not possible.

Except I'll forget friends that's in my life currently, I'll go weeks and sometimes months without talking to one, till something reminds me of them and I'm like OH SHIT they exist and feel I've neglected them haha.

But also, they hadn't messaged me in all that time either, so did they forget too??
